Opposite Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, “Many good works have I shown you from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?” The Jews answered him, saying, “We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

King James version: John 10:34-35: "Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken..."

The Problem

Comments: Let’s take a look at the famous quote of Jesus, who said [according to most Bible versions], “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, ‘You are gods?’’ If he called them gods...”

All translations except the Kingdom Study Bible use this version, except for a few modern Bible versions that hint that a different translation is possible.

Now this text is greatly misunderstood by many, because of two things:

1) Jesus was speaking in Greek (or the words of Jesus were written in Greek), and the text He was quoting from is from the Hebrew text of the Bible.

2) We are reading his words in English, which are a translation of the Greek text, which is also a translation of the original Hebrew text.

The only way to untangle this problem is to go to the original Hebrew to see exactly what it meant in its context; and from that, we can then apply it to the words of Jesus, so that we can have a correct translation and understanding of what Jesus actually said.

Psalm 82:6

Please follow my reasoning patiently: The original Hebrew word for God or gods is “ELOHIM”, which can be translated as

“Plural of ‘elowahh; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative -- angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X MIGHTY.” Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, cited in https://biblehub.com/hebrew/430.htm

[I am capitalizing ELOHIM to give it prominence, only for the purpose of this study.]

In other words, the Hebrew word “ELOHIM” as used in the Hebrew Bible is variously translated as God, gods, powerful, angels, great, mighty, or judges. The context of the word tells us how to translate it correctly. Hebrew is often like that, because it is a much freer language that depends on context for proper translation. Greek is much more rigid, although context is also important as well.

The passage in Hebrew that Jesus referred is in Psalm 82, which contains the quote of Jesus about “you are gods” in Psalm 82:6. This text uses “ELOHIM” in a way that shows us that the translation should be “judges” [or, “the mighty”] in Psalm 82:1-4:

“God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the [ELOHIM], saying, “How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Obviously, the translation of ELOHIM in this case should be

“he judges among the JUDGES, saying “How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and fatherless...”

Exodus 22:8

For another example of the word ELOHIM in the Hebrew Bible, look at Exodus 22:8, which says,

“If the thief is not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the ELOHIM, to see whether he has put his hand into his neighbor’s goods.”

The context shows that ELOHIM in this case means “Judges”; therefore the correct translation is

“If the thief is not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the JUDGES, to see whether he has put his hand into his neighbor’s goods.”

1 Samuel 2:25

1 Samuel 2:25a: “If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him;” KJV.

The Hebrew word for “the judge” is ELOHIM. A number of Bible versions translate this correctly, but not all. This illustrates that ELOHIM can be translated as “the judge” or “the judges”.

Exodus 22:8

Another example is Exodus 22:28. In the KJV, it is translated as

“You shall not revile the gods [or, “ELOHIM”]; nor curse the ruler of your people.”

Now that is strange: Did Jehovah command us not to revile false gods? It doesn’t take much reading in the Law of Moses to figure out that that couldn’t possibly be a correct translation!

But now let’s apply the understanding we gained from looking at Exodus 22:8 and 1 Samuel 2:25a, where the same word “elohim” is obviously and correctly translated as “judges”; and now translate it the same way:

“You shall not revile the judges; nor curse the ruler of your people.”

Now that makes a lot more sense! The Lord was commanding respect for the judges and leaders of the nation of Israel, who were powerful or mighty among their people; He was not commanding anyone to respect false gods!

Psalm 82 again

Now, with the understanding from the Hebrew language that “ELOHIM” (my emphasis) can be translated as God, gods, MIGHTY, angels, great, mighty, or judges (depending on the context), let’s look again at Psalm 82, which says,

Psalm 82:1-4: “God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the judges, saying, “How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Psalm 82:6: “I have said, ‘You are [ELOHIM - or’ judges’, or ‘mighty’]; and all of you are children of the most High’; but you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”

The context of Psalm 82:6 shows that God was associating power or might with the judges of Israel. The judges and rulers in Israel were powerful indeed: they held the absolute power of life and death over those who came before them for justice. But, God said that they would die like men, and fall like one of the princes. The context shows that “powerful” or “mighty” is the best translation for Psalm 82:6, not “gods”.

John 10:34-37

So now, let’s take the meaning for ELOHIM in the Hebrew Bible (and specially Psalm 82:6), and translate the word “gods” [Greek “dioses”) as “mighty” in the context of John 10:34-37; which is correct, because Jesus was quoting from the Hebrew Bible, and let’s see if it makes any difference in how we understand it, especially in its context:

“Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, ‘You are mighty?’’ If he called them mighty [or powerful], to whom the Word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of him, whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme’, because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I am not doing the [mighty] works of my Father, do not believe me. But if I do, though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.””

Now we can clearly see that Jesus was using the Hebrew (which these Jews knew very well) as a way to answer their criticism of his claim to be the Son of God.

Jesus did many mighty miracles or works to heal the sick, raise the dead, give sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf; He walked on the sea, and so on; and these mighty works of God proved that He was the Son of God, who is equal with God his Father in every way, except in their offices. And in this same chapter in John, Jesus rose Lazarus from the grave in the sight of hundreds of Jews from Jerusalem! Was this not a mighty work? Yes indeed.

So since Jesus was doing the mighty works that only God Himself could do, therefore, it was not blasphemy to call Himself the Son of God.

Opposite__Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, “Many good works have I shown you from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?” The Jews answered him, saying, “We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

Opposite Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, ‘You are mighty?’’ If he called them mighty, to whom the Word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of him, whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme’, because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I am not doing the mighty works of my Father, do not believe me. But if I do, though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.”

Conclusion

Literally, the original Greek word in John 10:34-35 is “θεοι”, which is correctly translated in most situations in the Greek text of the Bible as “gods”.

But the original Hebrew word for ELOHIM has several possible translations that go beyond “gods” to include: God, gods, POWERFUL, angels, great, mighty, or judges (depending on the context); This is much different than the Greek word “θεοι”, which has many fewer possibilities for translation: the supreme Divinity, God, godly (from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance).

So, although a literal translation of “gods” is technically correct in John 10:34-35, the original Hebrew word is used in many more ways (which is always defined by the context where it occurs). And because this is a quotation from the Hebrew Bible, we must consider the original meaning of the word to determine what the translation should be.

The extremely harmful impact of Bible versions that do not translate this text accurately with respect to how the Hebrew language translated the same word has given aid and comfort to the enemies of God; in particular, the Mormons use the incorrect translation of John 10:34-35 to convince sinners that they should become members of their very evil cult of Mormonism. Sinners and most believers in Christ are not Bible scholars, so they cannot defend themselves from the false information given to them by Mormon missionaries. They need a correct translation of this text to help them understand the correct meaning of what Jesus said and why He said it.

Applications

The Lord Jesus Christ was not saying in this text or any other text in the Bible that we or any other human being is a “god”! There are many false gods, and they are not human, but demons.

The Mormons frequently cite this passage to support their claim that Mormons are “gods”; but this is false! These passages are talking about judges or the mighty, not about “gods”.

Even in Heaven, born again believers in Jesus are equal to the angels, but we will never be a god of any kind: only the children of God, as Jesus said.

Luke 20:34-36: “And Jesus answering said to them, “The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage; but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that Age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage; neither can they die anymore, because they are equal to the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”

Do not believe the lies of Mormonism! That religion is a pit filled with evil, that if you fall into it, you may never come out until you die and go to Hell; and it will be too late to change your mind in there.

Galatians 1:6-9: “I marvel that you so quickly removed yourselves from him that called you in the grace of Christ into a different gospel; which is a false gospel; but there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the true Gospel of Christ. But though we, or even an angel from Heaven, preach any gospel to you different from what we have already preached to you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so now I say again, if any man preaches any gospel to you different from what you have already received from us, let him be accursed.”

The Apostle Paul warned everyone not to accept any Gospel that was different from the Gospel that he and the other Apostles preached!

Joseph Smith claimed that the angel Moroni came to him and gave him the new religion of Mormonism. Smith apparently did not realize that this angel was a fallen angel! Many millions of followers of Mormonism have gone to Hell because they believed this false gospel!

Mohammed had a similar experience with an angel which claimed to be from God, but this was also a fallen angel from Satan! Apparently Mohammad never read the Letter to the Galatians, and billions of Muslims have paid the price with their souls in Hell with his false gospel since those days. Very sad!

The popes and priests of Rome also preach a gospel that is much different than the Gospel of the Apostles! Their “gospel” is a gospel of works that cannot save anyone. Instead of pointing sinners to Jesus, they point sinners to Mary and other saints, who did nothing to save anyone! Only the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross 2,000 years ago can save a soul from their sins!

There is no Biblical support whatsoever for the idea that human beings are “little gods”! At best, we are only sinners, saved only by the grace of God, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. And if we have not been born again through repentance and faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross 2,000 years ago, then we are only sinners on a greased slide into Hell and the Lake of Fire!

Romans 3:10: “as it is written, ‘No one is righteous; no, not even one.’”

Revelation 20:11-15: “And I saw a Great White Throne, and him that sat on it; from whose face the earth and the Heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the Books were opened; and another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the Books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. And Death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire: this is the second death; and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”

HOW TO BE SAVED

Would you like to be saved, my friend? You can become a child of God today by faith in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross almost 2,000 years ago, and you can know that you will go to Heaven when you die.

Yield yourself to the one true God Jehovah, and repent of your sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for your sins, and rose again from the dead on the third day! He is the Son of God. Amen. There is no hope for salvation or Heaven in any religion, person, church, or work that you can do except in the Lord Jesus Christ Himself!

“Jesus says to him, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: NO MAN comes to the Father, but through me’” John 14:6.

You can be saved, right now, if you want to know that you have Eternal Life in Heaven waiting for you when you die! Use this prayer to repent and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to come into your life, right now!

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Reina-Valera 1995: "Jesús les respondió: ¿No está escrito en vuestra Ley: “Yo dije, dioses sois”? Si llamó dioses a aquellos a quienes vino la palabra de Dios (y la Escritura no puede ser quebrantada)...".

El problema

Comentario: Echemos un vistazo a la cita famosa de Jesús, quien dijo: “¿No está escrito en tu Ley, ‘dije: ‘Ustedes son dioses?’’ Si él los llamara dioses ...”

Todas las traducciones excepto el Reino Estudio Biblia (REB) usan esta versión, excepto algunas versiones modernas de la Biblia que insinúan que es posible una traducción diferente.

Ahora bien, este texto es muy mal entendido por muchos, debido a dos cosas:

1) Jesús estaba hablando en griego (o las palabras de Jesús estaban escritas en griego), y el texto que estaba citando es del texto hebreo de la Biblia.

2) Estamos leyendo sus palabras en inglés, que son una traducción del texto griego, que también es una traducción del texto hebreo original.

La única forma de desenredar este problema es ir al hebreo original para ver exactamente lo que significaba en su contexto; y a partir de eso, podemos aplicarlo a las palabras de Jesús, de modo que podamos tener una traducción y comprensión correctas de lo que Jesús realmente dijo.

Psalm 82:6

Por favor sigue mi razonamiento con paciencia: La palabra hebrea original para Dios o dioses es “ELOHIM”, que se puede traducir como

En otras palabras, la palabra hebrea “ELOHIM” como se usa en la Biblia hebrea se traduce de diversas formas como Dios, dioses, poderosos, ángeles, grandes, poderosos o jueces. Para otro ejemplo de la palabra ELOHIM en la biblia hebrea, mire Éxodo 22:8, que dice,

“Si no se encuentra al ladrón, el dueño de la casa será llevado ante los ELOHIM para ver si ha metido la mano en los bienes de su vecino.”

El contexto muestra que ELOHIM en este caso significa “Jueces”; por lo tanto, la traducción correcta es

1 Samuel 2:25a

1 Samuel 2:25a: “Si pecare el hombre contra el hombre, los jueces le juzgarán”. Reina-Valera 1960.

La palabra hebrea para “los jueces” es ELOHIM. Varias versiones de la Biblia traducen esto correctamente, pero no todas. Esto ilustra que ELOHIM puede traducirse como “el juez” o “los jueces”.

Éxodo 22:8

Otro ejemplo es Éxodo 22:28. En la versión King James (y algunas versiones en español), se traduce como

“No insultarás a los dioses [o “ELOHIM “]; ni maldecirás al gobernante de tu pueblo”.

Ahora bien, eso es extraño: ¿Nos ordenó Jehová que no insultemos a los dioses falsos? ¡No se necesita mucha lectura de la Ley de Moisés para darse cuenta de que esa no podría ser una traducción correcta!

Pero ahora apliquemos la comprensión que obtuvimos al mirar a Éxodo 22:8 y 1 Samuel 2:25a, donde la misma palabra “ELOHIM” se traduce obvia y correctamente como “jueces”; y ahora tradúzcalo de la misma manera:

“No injuriarás a los jueces, ni maldecirás al gobernante de tu pueblo”.

¡Eso tiene mucho más sentido! El Señor estaba mandando al pueblo a respetar a los jueces y líderes de la nación de Israel, que eran poderosos o poderosos entre su pueblo; ¡Él no estaba ordenando a nadie que respetara a los dioses falsos!

Salmo 82 nuevamente

Ahora, con el entendimiento desde el idioma hebreo que “ELOHIM” (énfasis mío) puede traducirse como Dios, dioses, PODEROSO, ángeles, grande, poderoso o jueces (según el contexto), miremos nuevamente el Salmo 82, que dice:

Psalm 82:1-4: “Dios está en la congregación de los poderosos; él juzga entre los jueces, diciendo, “¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente y aceptaréis a las personas de los impíos? Selah. Psalm 82:6: “Yo he dicho, ‘Ustedes sois [ELOHIM - o ‘jueces’, o ‘poderosos’]; y todos ustedes sois hijos del Altísimo.’ Pero moriréis como hombres y caeréis como uno de los príncipes”.

El contexto del Salmo 82:6 muestra que Dios estaba asociando poder con los jueces de Israel. Los jueces y gobernantes de Israel eran verdaderamente poderosos: tenían el poder absoluto de la vida y la muerte sobre aquellos que se presentaron ante ellos en busca de justicia. Pero, Dios dijo que morirían como hombres y caerían como uno de los príncipes. El contexto muestra que “Poderoso” es la mejor traducción del Salmo 82: 6, no “dioses”.

Entonces ahora, tomemos el significado de ELOHIM en la Biblia hebrea (y especialmente Salmo 82:6), y traduzcamos la palabra “dioses” [en griego “dioses”) como “poderoso” en el contexto de Juan 10:34-37; lo cual es correcto, porque Jesús estaba citando la Biblia hebrea, y veamos si hace alguna diferencia en cómo lo entendemos, especialmente en su contexto:

“Jesús les respondió, “¿No está escrito en vuestra Ley, ‘Dije, ‘Ustedes sois poderosos’’?’’. Si él los llamó poderosos, a quienes vino la Palabra de Dios (y la Escritura no puede ser quebrantada), ¿decís de él, a quien el Padre ha santificado y enviado al mundo, ‘Tú blasfemas’: porque dije, ‘Soy el Hijo de Dios’?. Si no hago las [poderosas] obras de mi Padre, no me creáis. Pero si las hago, aunque a mí no me creáis, creed a las obras; para que conozcáis y creáis que el Padre está en mí, y yo en él”.

Ahora podemos ver que Jesús estaba usando el hebreo (que estos judíos conocían muy bien) como una forma para responder a las críticas de ellos a la afirmación de Jesús de ser el Hijo de Dios.

Jesús hizo muchos milagros u obras poderosas para sanar a los enfermos, resucitar a los muertos, dar vista a los ciegos y oído a los sordos; Él caminó sobre el mar, y así sucesivamente; y estas obras poderosas de Dios demostraron que Él era el Hijo de Dios, que Él es igual a Dios su Padre en todo, excepto en sus oficios. ¡Y en este mismo capítulo de Juan, Jesús resucitó a Lázaro de la tumba ante los ojos de cientos de judíos de Jerusalén! ¿No fue ésta una obra poderosa? Sí, de hecho.

Entonces, dado que Jesús estaba haciendo obras poderosas que solo Dios mismo podía hacer, no era blasfemia llamarse a sí mismo Hijo de Dios.

Lo opuesto__Entonces los judíos volvieron a tomar piedras para apedrearle. Les respondió Jesús, “Muchas buenas obras os he mostrado de mi Padre, ¿por cuál de esas obras me apedreáis?”. Le respondieron los judíos, diciendo, “Por buena obra no te apedreamos, sino por la blasfemia; y porque tú, siendo hombre, te haces a ti mismo a Dios”.

Lo opuesto__Jesús les respondió, “¿No está escrito en vuestra Ley, ‘Dije, ‘Ustedes sois poderosos’’?’’. Si él los llamó poderosos, a quienes vino la Palabra de Dios (y la Escritura no puede ser quebrantada), ¿decís de él, a quien el Padre ha santificado y enviado al mundo, ‘Tú blasfemas’: porque dije, ‘Soy el Hijo de Dios’?. Si no hago las poderosas obras de mi Padre, no me creáis. Pero si las hago, aunque a mí no me creáis, creed a las obras; para que conozcáis y creáis que el Padre está en mí, y yo en él”.

Conclusión

Literalmente, la palabra griega original en Juan 10:34-35 es “θεοι”, que se traduce correctamente en la mayoría de las situaciones en el texto griego de la Biblia como “dioses”.

Pero la palabra hebrea original para ELOHIM tiene varias traducciones posibles que van más allá de “dioses” para incluir: Dios, dioses, PODEROSOS, ángeles, grandes o jueces (dependiendo del contexto); Esto es muy diferente a la palabra griega “θεοι”, que tiene muchas menos posibilidades para traducción: la Divinidad suprema, Dios, piadoso (de la Concordancia Exhaustiva de Strong).

Entonces, aunque una traducción literal de “dioses” es técnicamente correcta en Juan 10:34-35, la palabra hebrea original se usa de muchas más maneras (que siempre se define por el contexto donde aparece). Y debido a que se trata de una cita de la Biblia hebrea, debemos considerar el significado original de la palabra para determinar cuál debe ser la traducción.

El impacto extremadamente dañino de las versiones de la Biblia que no traducen este texto con precisión con respecto a cómo el idioma hebreo tradujo la misma palabra ha dado ayuda y consuelo a los enemigos de Dios; en particular, los mormones usan la traducción incorrecta de Juan 10:34-35 para convencer a los pecadores de que deben convertirse en miembros de su muy malvado culto del mormonismo.

Los pecadores y la mayoría de los creyentes en Cristo no son eruditos de la Biblia, por lo que no pueden defenderse de la información falsa que les dan los misioneros mormones. Necesitan una traducción correcta de este texto para ayudarles a comprender el significado correcto de lo que dijo Jesús y por qué lo dijo.

Aplicaciones

¡El Señor Jesucristo ni estaba diciendo en este texto ni en ningún otro texto de la Biblia que nosotros o cualquier otro ser humano somos “dioses”! Hay muchos dioses falsos y no son humanos, sino demonios.

Los mormones citan con frecuencia este pasaje para respaldar su afirmación de que los mormones son “dioses”; ¡pero esto es falso! Estos pasajes hablan de los jueces o los poderosos, no de “dioses”.

Incluso en el Cielo, los creyentes nacidos de nuevo en Jesús somos iguales a los ángeles, pero nunca seremos un dios de ningún tipo: sólo hijos de Dios, como dijo Jesús.

Lucas 20:34-36: “Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo, “Los hijos de este siglo se casan, y ellos se dan en matrimonio; pero los que serán considerados dignos de obtener esa Edad y la resurrección de los muertos, ni se casen ni se dan en matrimonio; tampoco pueden morir más, porque son iguales a los ángeles; y son los hijos de Dios, siendo los hijos de la resurrección”.

¡No creas las mentiras del mormonismo! Que la religión es un pozo lleno de maldad, del que si caes en él, nunca podrás salir hasta que mueras e vayas al infierno; y será demasiado tarde para cambiar de opinión allí.

Gálatas 1:6-9: “Yo maravillo de que ustedes se quitaron tan rápidamente desde él quien os llamó a la gracia de Cristo hacia un evangelio diferente; cual es un falso evangelio; pero hay algunos que os molestan; y quieren pervertir el verdadero Evangelio de Cristo. Pero aunque nosotros, o incluso un ángel del Cielo, os predicamos un evangelio diferente desde lo que ya os hemos predicado, déjale ser anatema. Como dijimos antes, así ahora vuelvo a decir: si algún hombre te predica un evangelio diferente desde lo que ya has recibido de nosotros, déjale ser anatema”.

¡El apóstol Pablo advirtió a todos que no aceptaran ningún evangelio que fuera diferente del evangelio que él y los demás apóstoles predicaban!

José Smith afirmó que el ángel Moroni vino a él y le dio la nueva religión del mormonismo. ¡Aparentemente Smith no se dio cuenta de que este ángel era un ángel caído! ¡Muchos millones de seguidores del mormonismo han ido al infierno porque creyeron en este falso evangelio!

Mahoma tuvo una experiencia similar con un ángel que decía ser de Dios, ¡pero también era un ángel caído de Satanás! Aparentemente Mahoma nunca leyó la Carta a los Gálatas, y miles de millones de musulmanes han pagado el precio con sus almas en el infierno con su falso evangelio desde aquellos días. ¡Muy triste!

¡Los papas y sacerdotes de Roma también predican un evangelio que es muy diferente al Evangelio de los Apóstoles! Su “evangelio” es un evangelio de obras que no puede salvar a nadie. En lugar de señalar a los pecadores a Jesús, señalan a los pecadores a María y otros santos, ¡quien no hicieron nada para salvar a nadie! ¡Sólo la Obra terminada de Jesucristo en la cruz hace 2.000 años puede salvar un alma de sus pecados!

¡No hay ningún respaldo bíblico para la idea de que los seres humanos son “pequeños dioses”! En el mejor de los casos, somos sólo pecadores, salvados sólo por la gracia de Dios y redimidos por la sangre de Jesucristo. Y si no hemos nacido de nuevo mediante el arrepentimiento y la fe en la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz hace 2.000 años, ¡Entonces sólo somos pecadores en un tobogán engrasado hacia el Infierno y el Lago de Fuego!

Romanos 3:10: “como está escrito, ‘Nadie es justo; no, ni siquiera uno’”.

La revelación 20:11-15: “Y vi un Gran Trono Blanco, y él que se sentó en ello; desde cuya cara la tierra y el Cielo huyeron lejos, y no se encontró lugar para ellos. Y vi a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie ante Dios; y los libros fueron abiertos; y otro libro fue abierto, cual es el Libro de la Vida; y los muertos fueron juzgados fuera de esas cosas que estaban escritas en los libros, según sus obras. Y el mar entregó los muertos cual estaban en ello; y la muerte y el Infierno entregaron los muertos que estaban en ellos; y fueron juzgados cada uno según sus obras. Y la Muerte y el Infierno fueron arrojados al Lago de Fuego: esta es la segunda muerte; y quienquiera que no fue hallado escrito en el Libro de la Vida fue arrojado al Lago de Fuego”.

COMO SER SALVADO

¿Te gustaría ser salvado, amigo? Puedes convertirte en un hijo de Dios hoy por la fe en la Obra terminada de Jesucristo en la cruz hace casi 2000 años, y puedes saber que irás al Cielo cuando mueras.

¡Entrégate al único Dios verdadero Jehová, y arrepiéntete de tus pecados y vuélvete al Señor Jesucristo, quien murió en la cruz por tus pecados y resucitó de nuevo de entre los muertos al tercer día!

Jesucristo es el único Camino al Cielo; Cualquier otro camino (islam, mormonismo, testigos de Jehová, hinduismo, budismo, bahá’í, etc) te llevará al Infierno.

Juan 14:6 “Jesús le dice: Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí”.

¡Puedes ser salvado ahora mismo si quieres saber que tienes Vida Eterna en el Cielo, esperándote cuando mueras! Utilice esta oración para arrepentirse y pedirle a Jesús que perdone sus pecados y que entre en su vida, ¡ahora mismo!

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra USTED. ¡No soy bueno y usted eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
