Study #13: Division Two: The Psalms (or, Prayers)

Let's look again at the overall Golden Ratio design of the Bible to recall where we have been, and where we are going.

Complement Division One: History and Doctrine

Opposite Volume 1: The Laws of the Old Covenant Kingdom of Zion (5 Books with 50 chapters total)

Opposite Volume 2: The Prophets of the New Covenant Kingdom of Zion (5 Books with 50 chapters total)

Now I want you to notice that each Volume of the Bible has 50 chapters contained in 5 Books of ten chapters each. This adds up to 400 total chapters in the entire Bible; 400 is obviously a significant number to Bible students.

But the key that helps us to find the Golden Ratio design of the Psalms is the 50 chapters in each Volume.

Let's assume that each of the 150 individual psalms has the same function as a chapter in Division One: 1 Volume = 5 Books = 50 chapters (10 in each Book) (Hint: they do!).

This would give us 3 Volumes of Books in the Psalms, with 5 Books in each Volume (total 15), and 150 total chapters.

Add these to Division one and you find that the entire Bible is divided into 8 total Volumes horizontally, arranged by 5 + 3, not 8 as a number by itself.

The number 8 does not exist anywhere in the Golden Ratio design of the Bible: only as a sum of 3 + 5.

This is why only the first five numbers of the Fibonacci Sequence are important for the Bible, and all of the following numbers are irrelevant. The number 8 is the upper limit, but only as a sum of 3 + 5 or 5 + 3, never by itself.

Now that we know that there must be 3 Volumes of Books of Psalms, then we must locate the themes of these Volumes; and to make a long story short, notice that Psalms Volumes 1, 2, and 3 are almost the mirror image of the final three Volumes in Division one. I will paste them here to illustrate:

This arrangement is a DIVINE arrangement, my friends; and it is utterly magnificent, because God did it!

No man (myself included) could possibly be clever enough to manufacture this arrangement out of whole cloth, or just out of things that are coincidental.

This would be completely IMPOSSIBLE if God had not built the Golden Ratio design into the very "warp and woof" of the Books and text of the Bible.

Psalm 119:89: "Forever, O Jehovah, your Word is established in Heaven."

The Word of God was given in Heaven long before God inspired holy men of God on Earth to record (or, inscripturate) it:

2 Timothy 3:16 - 17: "All Scripture is God-breathed; and is beneficial for doctrine, for rebuke, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be complete, and thoroughly equipped for all good work."

2 Peter 1:20 - 21: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture comes of one’s own interpretation: for the prophecy came at no time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."

Psalm 19:7 - 9: "The Law of Jehovah is perfect: converting the soul. The Testimony of Jehovah is sure: making wise the simple. The Statutes of Jehovah are right: rejoicing the heart. The Commandment of Jehovah is pure: enlightening the eyes. The fear of Jehovah is clean: enduring forever."

Psalm 111:7b - 8: "All his Commandments are sure; they stand fast forever and ever,and are done in truth and uprightness."

Psalm 138:2: "I will worship toward your holy Temple, and praise your Name for your loving-kindness and for your truth: for you have magnified your Word above all your Name."

How could all these passages be true if the Bible were a seemingly random collection of ancient writings, as the Old and New Testament arrangement seems to indicate? An eclectic arrangement for the Bible implies that the God who gave it is not All-Powerful and All-Wise.

NO, from the Scriptures, we know that the God of the Bible is a God of design, purpose, and planning:

Ephesians 1:3 - 6: "Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love; having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will; to the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us accepted in the Beloved."

Therefore, the Bible, WHICH IS HIS WORD, reflects the perfect wisdom and design of the infinite and Almighty Jehovah God. Jesus is the Living Word; the Bible is the written Word.

In light of all these things, then the Golden Ratio design makes perfect sense.

Estudio #13: División Dos: Las Oraciones (o, Los Salmos)

Veamos nuevamente el diseño general de la proporción áurea de la Biblia para recordar dónde hemos estado y hacia dónde vamos.

Ahora quiero que note que cada Volumen de la Biblia tiene 50 capítulos contenidos en 5 Libros de diez capítulos cada uno. Esto suma un total de 400 capítulos en toda la Biblia; 400 es obviamente un número significativo para los estudiantes de la Biblia.

Pero la clave que nos ayuda a encontrar el diseño de la Proporción Áurea de los Salmos son los 50 capítulos en cada Volumen.

Supongamos que cada uno de los 150 salmos individuales tiene la misma función que un capítulo en la División Uno: 1 Volumen = 5 Libros = 50 Capítulos (10 en cada Libro) (Pista: ¡lo hacen!).

Agregue estos a la División uno y encontrará que toda la Biblia está dividida en 8 Volúmenes totales horizontalmente, organizados por 5 + 3, no 8 como un número por sí mismo.

El número 8 no existe en ninguna parte del diseño de la proporción áurea de la Biblia: solo como una suma de 3 + 5.

Es por eso que solo los primeros cinco números de la secuencia de Fibonacci son importantes para la Biblia, y todos los números siguientes son irrelevantes. El número 8 es el límite superior, pero solo como una suma de 3 + 5 o 5 + 3, nunca por sí mismo.

Ahora que sabemos que debe haber 3 volúmenes de libros de salmos, entonces debemos ubicar los temas de estos volúmenes; y para abreviar la historia, observe que los Salmos Volúmenes 1, 2 y 3 son casi la imagen especular de los últimos tres Volúmenes en la División uno. Este arreglo es un arreglo DIVINO, mis amigos; y es absolutamente magnífico, ¡porque Dios lo hizo!

Ningún hombre (incluido yo mismo) podría ser lo suficientemente inteligente como para fabricar este arreglo a partir de paño entero, o simplemente de cosas que son coincidentes.

Esto sería completamente IMPOSIBLE si Dios no hubiera construido el diseño de la Proporción Áurea en la misma "trama y urdimbre" de los Libros y el texto de la Biblia.

Salmo 119:89: "Para siempre, oh Jehová, tu Palabra está establecida en el Cielo."

La Palabra de Dios fue dada en el Cielo mucho antes de que Dios inspirara a los santos hombres de Dios en la Tierra a registrarla (o lo inscripturate):

2 Timoteo 3:16 - 17: "Toda la Escritura es dada por inspiración de Dios; y es beneficioso para la doctrina, para la reprensión, para la corrección, y para la instrucción en la rectitud; para que el hombre de Dios puede estar completo y completamente equipado para todo buen trabajo."

2 Pedro 1:20 - 21: "Sabiendo esto primero, que ninguna profecía de la Escritura viene de cualquier interpretación privada: porque la profecía no llegó en ningún momento por la voluntad del hombre, pero los santos hombres de Dios hablaron como fueron llevados a lo largo por el Espíritu Santo."

Salmo 19:7 - 9: "La Ley de Jehová es perfecta: convirtiendo el alma. El Testimonio de Jehová es cierto: haciendo sabio lo simple. Los Estatutos de Jehová son rectos: regocijándose el corazón. El Mandamiento de Jehová es puro: iluminando los ojos. El temor de Jehová es limpio: perdurable por siempre."

Salmo 111:7b - 8: "Todos sus Mandamientos son seguros. Ellos se mantienen firmes por siempre y para siempre, y son hechos en verdad y rectitud."

Salmo 138:2: "Adoraré hacia tu santo Templo, y alabaré tu Nombre por tu bondad amorosa y tu verdad: porque has magnificado tu Palabra por sobre todo tu Nombre."

¿Cómo podrían ser ciertos todos estos pasajes si la Biblia fuera una colección aparentemente aleatoria de escritos antiguos, como parece indicar el arreglo del Antiguo y el Nuevo Testamento? Un arreglo ecléctico de la Biblia implica que el Dios que la dio no es Todopoderoso ni Infinitamente sabio.

NO, desde las Escrituras, sabemos que el Dios de la Biblia es un Dios de diseño, propósito y planificación:

Efesios 1:3 - 6: "Bendito es el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo, quien nos ha bendecido con todas las bendiciones espirituales en los lugares celestiales en Cristo: incluso como él nos ha elegido en él antes de la fundación del mundo, que deberíamos ser santos y sin defecto delante de él en amor desinteresado, habiéndonos predestinado con referencia a la adopción de niños por Jesucristo para sí mismo, según el buen placer de su voluntad; a la alabanza de la gloria de su gracia, en la cual él nos hizo aceptado en el Amado."

Por lo tanto, la Biblia, QUE ES SU PALABRA, refleja la perfecta sabiduría y el diseño del infinito y Todopoderoso Jehová Dios. Jesús es la Palabra viva; la Biblia es la Palabra escrita.

A la luz de todas estas cosas, el diseño de la proporción áurea tiene perfecto sentido.
