Romans, Chapter 2.4: The final sanctification of Israel after the Return of Christ (9:1 - 11:36)

§Unique Introduction: Most Jews have rejected the Gospel, despite being stewards of the truth of God under the Old Covenant (9:1 - 13)

¶Opposite Paul wished that he could go to Hell so that his fellow Israelites according to the flesh could be saved (9:1 - 5)

¶Opposite The children of the Promise are the true seed of Israel, not the children of the flesh (9:6 - 13)

§Complement Body: God has elected a remnant of the Jews to be saved, even though the majority rejected the Gospel of Christ (9:14 - 10:21)

Introduction

We begin a new series of studies with Chapter 2.4 of Romans in the Golden Ratio design (see above). This chapter of Romans is all about ELECTION.

In the previous chapter, we discussed how God applied election to individual believers in Christ (Romans 8:28 - 39). But in this chapter, Paul explained how God used election with regard to the nation of Israel and the Gentiles in general.

The problem with most discussions about election is that most believers have been taught that there are only two ways that God deals with sinners:

God either chooses a sinner to go to Heaven and so they will be saved whether they want to be or not; and the rest of humanity goes to Hell, because God didn’t choose them. Extreme or hyper-Calvinism even claims that sinners are regenerated by God so that he CAN be saved! In other words, he is saved even before he calls on the Name of Jesus, or maybe he doesn’t even have to do that. Sinners are converted to Christ without any input on their part. This is partly true, and it is partly false. I will explain that further down in the study.

And if God doesn’t allow any input on our part (so they say), then there is no need for evangelism, since those whom God has chosen will be saved, regardless of anything that I might do or say to them.

I believe that Calvinism is a heretical view that uses selected texts from the Bible to support its false claims; but it ignores others that contradict it. A true Biblical doctrine will incorporate everything in the Bible into a consistent doctrine without contradictions; and this is what I will demonstrate in this study.

First, let’s review the basic facts about election from a previous study:

Theory A, Positive Election: God chooses some to salvation and eternal Life without any response needed from the sinner

These men were important figures in the history of the Messianic line and in Bible history: Adam, Noah, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Joseph the stepfather of Jesus and Mary the mother of the humanity of Jesus.

John the Baptist is a perfect example of this:

Luke 1:15: “For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor alcohol; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.”

So the Scripture seems to be clear: John the Baptist never needed to be born again! He was always righteous in the eyes of God, even in the womb of his mother. There are no other examples in the Bible like him.

Another example is Saul of Tarsus, who was the open and very hostile enemy of the Gospel and of the Christians during the early days after the Resurrection of Christ; but Jesus Christ met him on the road to Damascus in a miraculous event that revealed to Saul who Jesus really was; and Saul believed and was saved!

But Saul would not have been saved without that special appearance of God to him! This was an excellent example of God choosing a special person to be saved, who would not have been saved without some special event that only God could have done. A soul winner would not have been able to win Saul to Christ, but God saved him anyway!

Acts 9:15-16: “But the Lord said to him, “Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel to me, to carry my Name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: for I will show him what great things he must suffer for my Name’s sake.”

Galatians 1:15-16: “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood...”

Abraham is another example, where God met with Abraham in visions while he lived in pagan Ur of the Chaldees, and compelled him to follow Him and over a period of time until he finally did truly believe in Jehovah, and his faith was credited to him for righteousness (Romans 4:2-3).

There were no soul winners in the days of Abraham! There were other believers; however, there was no command of God to spread the Gospel around the world; there were no churches preaching the Gospel; and there were no evangelistic crusades in his time! God and God alone made sure that Abraham believed in Him, and so he became the father of many nations, according to the election (the choice) of God. If Jehovah had not intervened in the life of Abraham, the nation of Israel and everything that goes with that (the twelve tribes of Israel, the Temple, even the city of Jerusalem as we know it today), it would not exist today.

These men were not won to Christ through hearing the- Gospel; but through the direct intervention of God Himself!

Romans 11:2b - 4: “Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah? How he makes intercession to God against Israel, saying, “Lord, they have slain your Prophets, and undermined your altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.” But what is the answer of God to him? “I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.”

This is the first kind of election in the Bible.

Theory B, Negative Election: God caused (and continues to cause) some special individuals to be blinded (He hardens their heart) to the truth of the Gospel

Pharaoh [Romans 9:16], Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and many others were deliberately blinded to the truth of God, so that his purposes in history would be accomplished. These were very important men and women who fulfilled the will of God according to his master Plan in spite of their rebellion against Him. I believe that this list is relatively small by comparison with the total of all humans who have ever lived; but only God knows for sure.

I do not like this kind of election, but the Bible is clear that it is real:

Romans 9:19-24: “You will say then to me, “Why does he still find fault? For who has resisted his will?” No, but, O man, who are you to contradict God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, “Why have you made me this way?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel to honor, and another to dishonor? What if God (determining to show his wrath, and to make his power known) endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction, so that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared unto glory, even us, whom he has called: not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”

I believe that even Hitler and the others I listed, in theory, THEY COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED, because Jesus died for their sins; however, because they were (and are) important figures in the fulfillment of prophecy in human history, God hardened their hearts, and they went (or are going) to Hell; and nothing can stop that.

Romans 9:16-18: “So then [salvation] is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “Even for this same purpose have I raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my Name might be declared throughout all the earth.” Therefore he has mercy on whom he will have mercy; and whom he chooses, he hardens.”

Someone has well said,

“The same sun that melts the wax, also hardens the clay.”

In other words, the problem is not the message of the Gospel, but the heart that hears the message. If we harden our own hearts, God will add more hardness to our hearts until we can’t be saved no matter what.

Matthew 11:15: “he that has ears to hear, let him hear.”

God has caused some groups of people to be blind and deaf to the Gospel call as punishment for their rejection of Jesus Christ

The Jews are the Biblical example; and this is what Romans chapter 2.4 is all about! Paul explained that most Jews were unable to respond to the Gospel, because it was the will of God; but in spite of this, God continued to save a small number of Jews through election:

Romans 11:1-10: “I say then: Has God cast away his people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away his people, which he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah? How he makes intercession to God against Israel, saying, “Lord, they have slain your Prophets, and undermined your altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.” But what is the answer of God to him? “I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.” Even so then, at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, then it is no longer grace; otherwise, work is no longer work.

What then? Israel has not obtained that which he seeks for; but the election has obtained it; and the rest were blinded until this day; according as it is written, “God has given them the spirit of slumber: eyes that they might not see, and ears that they might not hear, until this day.” And David says, “Let their table be made a snare, a trap, a stumblingblock, and a retribution to them; let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see; and bow down their back always.”

At the beginning of the Book of Acts, many Jews were open to the Gospel and were either saved or they became completed Jews (i.e. they were already saved under the Old Covenant, and became completed in their faith when they believed in Jesus Christ as their Messiah).

But as time went on, the Jewish people began to refuse the Gospel, and their hearts became hardened to the truth of God; and so the wrath of God against them began to build, until there was no remedy for them except the Judgement of God, who sent the Roman army of Titus against Jerusalem in 70 A.D. His army leveled the city and the Temple to the ground, and over 1 million Jews perished in the war; and the Jews were scattered from the land of Israel.

The religious leaders of the Jews were responsible for much of their unbelief with respect to the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Matthew 28:11-15: “Now when they were going, behold, some of the guard, having come into the city, showed the chief priests all the things that were done. And after they had assembled with the elders, and taken counsel, they gave much money to the soldiers, saying, ‘Say, ‘His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.’ And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.’ So they took the money, and did as they were taught; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.”

Ever since that time, most Jews have rejected the claims of Jesus to be their Messiah. As a result, God has given the Jews blind eyes and deaf ears to the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and God led the churches of Christ to reach out to the Gentiles with the Gospel instead.

Do you see? God only brought blindness and deaf ears to the Jews, because THEY REJECTED JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR MESSIAH! It was their own fault! If they had repented and believed in Christ when they had the opportunity to be saved/completed in Christ, then this would not have happened! Amen.

Does this mean that God chose all of those Jews to go to Hell, because they rejected Christ as their Messiah? Well, the Bible doesn’t say that “God chose them to go to Hell”; but it does say that

“God gave them the spirit of slumber: eyes that they might not see, and ears that they might not hear, until this day.”

This was the Judgment of God upon them for rejecting Jesus Christ as their Messiah. Effectively it is the same thing as election to Hell, because if they are blind to the Gospel, then they must go to Hell when they die. The sins of the fathers are visited upon the future generations of their children as punishment for their rebellion against God, in the form of spiritual blindness and darkness in their souls.

Nevertheless, God is still saving the Jews as individuals; and in fact, today, the Gospel is being preached in the nation of Israel; and from what I read, many are coming to Christ and being saved! Amen. I believe that this is a sign of the imminent Return of Christ.

This has also happened to other groups of people

If you examine human history over the last 2,000 years, you will find that certain groups of people had no missionaries or churches in their countries and no Gospel was preached for hundreds and hundreds of years; therefore, everyone in those countries perished and went to Hell for generations and generations!

Why did that happen? Because their fathers had rejected the Light of Natural Revelation (evidence in nature that points to one Creator God who will judge everyone after death); and also, their fathers rejected any Scripture from the Bible that they may have heard, so that they had no hope of salvation whatsoever.

And when they rejected the one true God, Jehovah, they turned instead to worship idols; and this brought the wrath of God upon them and their children!

Exodus 20:2-6: “I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery: YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. You shall not make you any carved image, nor any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them: for I, JEHOVAH YOUR GOD, AM A JEALOUS GOD, VISITING THE INIQUITY OF THE FATHERS UPON THE CHILDREN UNTIL THE THIRD AND FOURTH GENERATION OF THEM THAT HATE ME, and showing mercy to thousands of them that love me, and keep my Commandments.”

There are always CONSEQUENCES when we turn away from the one true God! We bring his Judgment upon ourselves and on our children too! Amen.

Romans 1:18-20: “For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them: for God has shown it to them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his Eternal power and Deity, so that they are without excuse.”

Romans 10:18: “But I say, ‘Have they not heard [about the one true God]?’ Yes truly, ‘Their sound went into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.’”

Psalm 19:1-4: “The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the expanse of the Universe shows the work of his hands. Day after day they utter speech, and night after night they show knowledge. There is no speech or language, where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.”

The Bible is clear that the witness of the Creation itself: the stars in the sky, our very existence itself on a ball hurtling through space at exactly the right distance from the sun to support our lives, is proof that we are the creation of an Almighty Creator God, who will one day judge all mankind for their sins. This makes us without excuse in the eyes of God!

If you say No to God, you are bringing a curse upon yourself and upon your children, possibly for generations!

Theory C, Potential Election: Among the rest of humanity, God chooses many to salvation whom He FOREKNOWS (knows ahead of time) will respond to the Gospel and be saved

MANY are called to salvation and COULD be saved, but few are chosen.

Matthew 20:16: “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many are called, but few are chosen.”

Only those whom God knows will obey the Gospel command to repent and believe in Jesus Christ are chosen.

Romans 8:29-30: “for those whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, those whom he predestinated, he also called them; and whom he called, he also justified them; and whom he justified, he also glorified them.”

The others in this category (who were neither chosen to salvation or chosen to damnation): if they refuse the opportunity to be saved or refuse to believe in the spiritual Light that they have, then sadly, they go on to die and they are punished in the Lake of Fire forever and ever, according to their works; and it will be 100% their own fault!

2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slow concerning the fulfillment of his promise (as some men count slackness); but is longsuffering toward us: not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Proverbs 1:20-32: “Wisdom cries outside; she utters her voice in the streets; she cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates in the city, she utters her words, saying, ‘How long, you naive ones, will you love gullibility? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my Spirit to you; I will make known my words to you. Because I have called, but you refused; I have stretched out my hand, but no man cared; and you have disdained all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof.

Therefore, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes, when your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. Then they shall call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but shall not find me, because they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Jehovah. They wanted none of my counsel, and they despised all my reproof; therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the naive shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”

The great thing about this category of sinners is that if we take the Gospel to the whole world in obedience to Christ's command in His Great Commission, more people can be saved than would otherwise be saved! Amen.

Romans 10:17: “So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

In other words, the more people who listen to God’s Word, the more there will be those who will have faith to be saved! Because God’s Word has the power to impart faith to the sinner who hears it! Amen.
Not all who hear the Word will be saved; those whose hearts are receptive and obedient to the Word of the Gospel will be blessed by God with spiritual Light and more faith. those whose hearts are not receptive and obedient to the Word of the gospel will receive spiritual darkness.

Matthew 13:3-9: “And he spoke unto them many things in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went forth to sow. And when he was sowing, some of the seed fell by the wayside; And the birds came and ate it. And some of it fell on stony ground, where there was not much ground; and it sprang up at once: for it had no depth of soil; but when the sun rose, it was burned; and because it had no root, it withered. And some of it fell among thorns; and the thorns grew, and choked it. But some fell on good soil and bore fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Matthew 13:12: “For to whomsoever has shall be given, and he shall have more; but from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken away.”

If no Gospel is preached, no one will be saved, unless God intervenes directly in their life as in category A above! But when we obey the Great Commission and preach the Gospel to every creature, then many more will be saved, and the population of Heaven will grow accordingly and the future population of Hell will decrease! Amen and amen.

God means what He says when the Bible says that He does not want anyone to perish, but that ALL SHOULD come to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. God wants everyone to be in Heaven with Him! But our unbelief and rebellion against Him prevents that from happening in most cases.

Summary

There are three types of election in the Bible:

Category A, Positive Election: Those who are chosen to salvation and eternal life without any response needed from the sinner.

Category B, Negative Election: Those who are blinded by God to the Gospel, either for his special purposes in human history or as punishment for the rebellion of their fathers against the Gospel of Christ.

Category C, Potential Election: As many as respond to the Gospel with faith and obedience can be saved; and therefore God foreknew that they would respond to the Gospel, and so He chose them to salvation! And the ones who reject the Gospel or the spiritual light that they had, they go to Hell, because that was their choice.

FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF GOD, who already knows who will be in the Kingdom of God at the end of Time, the choice of all who will be saved has already been made, and the names of his elect are already in the Book of Life. The elect of God were chosen from the foundation of the Creation, based on the foreknowledge of God concerning all things.

However, FROM OUR POINT OF VIEW, the number of the elect in Heaven greatly depends on our own choices to reach the world with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ or to refuse to obey the Great Commission!

Both of these things are TRUE, and do not conflict with each other! Amen.

This should motivate every believer in Jesus Christ to live for God every day, to hand out pamphlets at every opportunity, to share the Gospel message with their family and friends, and to provide financial support to missionaries through their church to send the Gospel to all corners of the world, or to give your life to Jesus to go and preach the Gospel yourself! We can make the number of believers in Heaven greater than it would be without our obedience to the Great Commission! Amen.

If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, GET BUSY FOR GOD TODAY! Amen. Lay up treasure in Heaven, because your treasure on Earth can make a difference for Eternity!

The viewpoint that I have just explained is the only one that incorporates every part of the Bible into a consistent understanding. Calvinism fails, because it does not incorporate the clear teachings that election for Category C is based on the foreknowledge of God of who will respond to the Gospel call and be saved. The more people who hear the Gospel preached, the more God can call and save them.

Meanwhile today, many Calvinists REFUSE to give invitations to sinners in their sermons to be saved! They won’t go knocking on doors to invite sinners to come to church or to receive Christ, because they believe that nothing they do will make a difference in whether a sinner is saved or lost.

THIS WILL BE THEIR ETERNAL SHAME, AND GOD WILL REBUKE THEM FOR THEIR REBELLION AGAINST HIS COMMAND TO GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE (Mark 16:15).

The solution is always to repent and obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

When we hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we must immediately respond with faith and obedience to the call to repent of our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Savior! Amen.

And then, we must continue to follow the Lord Jesus Christ all the days of our life: church attendance, Bible reading, daily prayer for repentance from sin and submission to the will of God for our life.

And when we receive Christ as our Savior, but we do not follow Christ daily, we will bring his chastisement upon ourselves!

Hebrews 12:5-13: “And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to children, “My son, despise not the discipline of [Jehovah], nor faint when you are rebuked by him: for whom [Jehovah] loves he disciplines, and scourges every son whom he receives.” If you endure discipline, God deals with you as with sons: for what son is he whom the father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, whereof all are partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not truly sons of God. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live? For they truly disciplined us for a few days after their own pleasure; but he for our spiritual good, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now, no discipline seems to be joyful for the moment, but painful; yet afterward, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who experience it. Therefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame part cannot be dislocated; but rather can be healed.”

How to be saved!

Have you truly been born again? Most people who believe that they are going to Heaven are actually on their way into Hell!

If you have not been saved the Bible Way through the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are definitely going to Hell! This is extremely important! Make sure that you truly are saved, because if not, the consequences for you are SEVERE AND WILL NEVER END! Amen.

Hurry to Jesus now! Because you will never know the time when God will call your name and take you to Judgment.

Ecclesiastes 9:12: “For man also does not know his time to die; as the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.”

Church is not the Way to God! Baptism is not the Way to God! Your religion is not the Way to God! Mary is not the Way to God! Mohammad is not the way to God! Idols are not the way to God! Your good works cannot save you!

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, ‘I AM THE WAY, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.’”

John 10:1: Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.”

Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in there. For confined is the gate and narrow is the Way which leads to Eternal Life, and few there are that find it.”

The Bible says,

“that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved: for with the heart, man believes into righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made into salvation: for the Scripture says, “Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.” For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him: for it is written, “whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Romanos, Capítulo 2.4: La santificación final de Israel después del Regreso de Cristo (9:1 - 11:36)

§Único Introducción: La mayoría de los judíos han rechazado el Evangelio, a pesar de ser mayordomos de la verdad de Dios bajo el Antiguo Pacto (9:1 - 13)

Introducción

Comenzamos una nueva serie de estudios con el Capítulo 2.4 de Romanos en el diseño de la Proporción Áurea (ver arriba). Este capítulo de Romanos es todo sobre ELECCIÓN.

En el capítulo anterior, discutimos cómo Dios aplicó la elección a creyentes individuales en Cristo (Romanos 8:28 - 39). Pero en este capítulo, Pablo explicó cómo Dios usó la elección con respecto a la nación de Israel y los gentiles en general.

El problema con la mayoría de las discusiones sobre la elección es que a la mayoría de los creyentes se les ha enseñado que sólo hay dos maneras en que Dios trata con los pecadores:

Dios elige a un pecador para ir al cielo y así será salvado, lo quiera o no; y el resto de la humanidad va al Infierno, porque Dios no los eligió. ¡Extremo o hipercalvinismo incluso afirma que un pecador es regenerado por Dios para que él PUEDE ser salvado! En otras palabras, es salvado incluso antes de invocar el Nombre de Jesús, o tal vez él ni siquiera tenga que hacer eso. Los pecadores se convierten a Cristo sin ninguna intervención de su parte. Esto es en parte cierto y en parte falso. Lo explicaré más adelante en el estudio.

Y si Dios no permite ninguna aportación de nuestra parte (eso dicen), entonces no hay necesidad de evangelizar, ya que aquellos a quienes Dios ha elegido serán salvados, independientemente de cualquier cosa que yo pueda hacerles o decirles.

Creo que el calvinismo es una visión herética que utiliza textos seleccionados de la Biblia para respaldar sus falsas afirmaciones; pero ignora otros que lo contradicen. Una doctrina verdadera y bíblica incorporará todo lo que hay en la Biblia en una doctrina consistente que es sin contradicciones; y esto es lo que demostraré en este estudio.

Primero, repasemos los hechos básicos sobre la elección en la Biblia desde un estudio anterior:

Categoría A, Elección Positiva: Dios elige a algunos para la salvación y la vida eterna sin necesidad de respuesta del pecador

Estos hombres fueron figuras importantes en la historia del linaje mesiánico y en la historia bíblica: Adán, Noé, Sem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, José el padrastro de Jesús y María la madre de la humanidad de Jesús.

Juan el Bautista es un ejemplo perfecto de esto:

Lucas 1:15: “Porque será grande ante los ojos del Señor, y no beberá vino ni alcohol; y será lleno del Espíritu Santo, incluso desde el vientre de su madre”.

Entonces la Escritura parece ser clara: ¡Juan el Bautista nunca necesitó nacer de nuevo! Siempre fue justo a los ojos de Dios, incluso en el vientre de su madre. No hay otros ejemplos en la Biblia como él.

Otro ejemplo es Saúl de Tarso, que fue enemigo abierto y muy hostil del Evangelio y de los cristianos durante los primeros días posteriores a la Resurrección de Cristo; pero Jesucristo lo encontró en el camino a Damasco en un evento milagroso que le reveló a Saúl quién era realmente Jesús; ¡y Saúl creyó y fue salvado!

¡Pero Saúl no habría sido salvado sin ese milagro de Dios! Este fue un excelente ejemplo de cómo Dios escogió a una persona especial para ser salvado, quien no habría sido salvado sin algún evento especial que solo Dios podría haber hecho. Un ganador de almas no habría podido ganar a Saúl para Cristo, ¡pero Dios le salvó de todos modos!

Hechos 9:15-16: “Pero el Señor le dijo, “Sigue tu camino, porque él es un instrumento elegido para mí, para llevar mi nombre ante los gentiles, los reyes y los hijos de Israel: porque le mostraré a él las grandes cosas que él debe sufrir por el bien de mi Nombre”.

Gálatas 1:15-16: “Pero cuando agradó a Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia, revelar a su Hijo en mí, para que yo le predicase entre los gentiles...”.

Abraham es otro ejemplo, donde Dios se encontró con Abraham en visiones mientras vivía en la pagana Ur de los caldeo; y Dios lo obligó a seguirlo durante un período de tiempo hasta que finalmente creyera verdaderamente en Jehová, y su fe le fue acreditada para justicia (Romanos 4:2-3).

¡No había ganadores de almas en los días de Abraham! Había otros creyentes; sin embargo, no hubo ningún mandato de Dios de difundir el Evangelio por el mundo; no había iglesias que predicaran el evangelio; ¡Y no hubo cruzadas evangelísticas en su época! Dios y sólo Dios se aseguró de que Abraham creyera en Él, y así llegó a ser padre de muchas naciones, según la elección (la elección) de Dios. Si Jehová no hubiera intervenido en la vida de Abraham, la nación de Israel y todo lo que conlleva (las doce tribus de Israel, el Templo, incluso la ciudad de Jerusalén tal como la conocemos), no existiría hoy.

Estos hombres no fueron ganados para Cristo escuchando el Evangelio; ¡sino mediante la intervención directa de Dios mismo!

Romanos 11:2b - 4: “¿No sabéis lo que la Escritura dice de Elías? Cómo él hace intercesión a Dios contra Israel, diciendo, “Señor, han matado a tus profetas y minaron tus altares; y me quedo solo, y buscan mi vida. Pero ¿cuál es la respuesta de Dios a él? “Me he reservado para mi siete mil hombres, que no han doblado la rodilla ante la imagen de Baal”.

Este es el primer tipo de elección en la Biblia.

Categoría B, Elección negativa: Dios hizo (y Él sigue para causar) algunos individuos especiales quedaran cegados (Él endurece su corazón) a la verdad del Evangelio

Faraón [Romanos 9:16], Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot y muchos otros fueron deliberadamente cegados a la verdad de Dios, para que sus propósitos en la historia se cumplieran. Estos fueron hombres y mujeres muy importantes que cumplieron la voluntad de Dios según su Plan maestro a pesar de su rebelión contra Él. Creo que esta lista es relativamente pequeña en comparación con el total de todos los humanos que alguna vez han vivido; pero sólo Dios lo sabe con certeza.

No me gusta este tipo de elección, pero la Biblia es clara en que es real:

Romanos 9:19-24: “Entonces me dirás, “¿Por qué él todavía encuentra fallas? Porque ¿quién se ha resistido a su voluntad?”. No, pero, O hombre, ¿quién eres tú para contradecir a Dios? ¿Dirá el que se forma al que lo formó: “¿Por qué me has hecho así?”? ¿No tiene potestad el alfarero sobre el barro, de la misma masa para hacer uno vaso para honrar, y otro para deshonra? ¿Qué pasa si Dios, determinado a mostrar su ira, y a hacer notorio su poder, soportó con mucha paciencia los vasos de ira preparados para destrucción, para que él pudiere hacer conocido las riquezas de su gloria para con los vasos de misericordia que él preparó de antemano para gloria, incluso nosotros, a quien el ha llamado: no sólo de los judíos, sino también de los gentiles?”.

Creo que incluso Hitler y los otros que enumeré, en teoría, PODRÍAN HABER SIDO SALVADOS, porque Jesús murió por sus pecados; sin embargo, porque fueron (y son) figuras importantes en el cumplimiento de la profecía en la historia humana, Dios endureció sus corazones y ellos fueron (o van) al Infierno; y nada puede detener eso.

Romanos 9:16-18: “Así entonces, la elección no es de él quien quiere, ni del que corre, sino de Dios que tiene misericordia: porque la Escritura dice a Faraón, “Incluso para este mismo propósito te he levantado, para que pueda mostrar mi poder en ti, y que mi nombre podría ser declarado a lo largo de toda la tierra”. Por lo tanto, tiene misericordia de quien él tendrá misericordia; y al que elige, él endurece.

Alguien bien lo ha dicho:

“El mismo sol que derrite la cera, también endurece la arcilla”.

En otras palabras, el problema no es el mensaje del Evangelio, sino el corazón que escucha el mensaje. Si endurecemos nuestro propio corazón, Dios agregará más dureza a nuestro corazón hasta que no podamos ser salvados pase lo que pase.

Mateo 11:15: “el que tiene oídos para oír, que oiga.”

Dios ha hecho que algunos grupos de personas ser ciegos y sordos al llamado del Evangelio como castigo por su rechazo a Jesucristo

Los judíos son el ejemplo bíblico; ¡Y de esto se trata el capítulo 2.4 de Romanos! Pablo explicó que la mayoría de los judíos no podían responder al Evangelio porque era la voluntad de Dios; pero a pesar de esto, Dios continuó salvando a un pequeño número de judíos mediante la elección:

Romanos 11:1-10: “Digo, pues: ¿ha desechado Dios a su pueblo? ¡Ciertamente no! Porque también soy israelita, de la simiente de Abraham, de la tribu de Benjamín. Dios no ha desechado a su pueblo, al cual antes conoció. ¿No sabéis lo que la Escritura dice de Elías? Cómo él hace intercesión a Dios contra Israel, diciendo, “Señor, han matado a tus profetas y minaron tus altares; y me quedo solo, y buscan mi vida. Pero ¿cuál es la respuesta de Dios a él? “Me he reservado para mi siete mil hombres, que no han doblado la rodilla ante la imagen de Baal”. Aun asi entonces, también en este tiempo queda un remanente según la elección de la gracia. Y si por gracia, ya no es de obras, de lo contrario la gracia ya no es gracia. Pero si es por obras, ya no es gracia; de lo contrario, la obra ya no es la obra.

¿Qué entonces? Israel no ha obtenido lo que él busca, pero los elegidos lo ha obtenido, y el resto fueron cegados hasta el día de hoy; según está escrito, “Dios les ha dado el espíritu del sueño: ojos que ellos pueden no ver y oídos que ellos podrían no escuchar, hasta el día de hoy”. Y David dice, “Dejen que la mesa de ellos se convierta en un lazo, una trampa, una piedra de tropiezo, y una retribución para ellos; dejen que se oscurezcan los ojos de ellos para que no vean, y e inclinar la espalda de ellos siempre”.

Al comienzo del Libro de los Hechos, muchos judíos estaban abiertos al Evangelio y fueron salvados o se convirtieron en judíos completos (i.e. ya eran salvados bajos el Antiguo Pacto, y se completaron en su fe cuando creyeron en Jesucristo como su Mesías).

Pero a medida que pasó el tiempo, el pueblo judío comenzó a rechazar el evangelio y sus corazones se endurecieron a la verdad de Dios; y así la ira de Dios contra ellos comenzó a acumularse, hasta que no hubieran más remedio para ellos que el Juicio de Dios, quien envió el ejército romano de Tito contra Jerusalén en el año 70 d.C. Su ejército arrasó la ciudad y el Templo hasta los cimientos, y más de un millón de judíos perecieron en la guerra; y los judíos fueron esparcidos de la tierra de Israel.

Los líderes religiosos de los judíos fueron responsables de gran parte de su incredulidad con respecto a la resurrección de Jesucristo:

Mateo 28:11-15: “Ahora cuando iban, he aquí, algunos de los guardias, habiendo entrado en la ciudad, mostraron a los sumos sacerdotes todas las cosas que se hicieron. Y después de se habían reunido con los ancianos, y habían consultado juntos, dieron mucho dinero a los soldados, diciendo, ‘Decid, ‘Sus discípulos vinieron por noche, y le hurtaron lejos, mientras dormíamos’. Y si esto llegue a oídos del gobernador, le persuadiremos, y os haremos seguros’. Así que tomaron el dinero, e hicieron como se les enseñaba; y este refrán se divulga comúnmente entre los judíos hasta este día”.

Desde entonces, la mayoría de los judíos han rechazado las afirmaciones de Jesús ser su Mesías. Como resultado, Dios ha dado a los judíos a ojos ciegos y oídos sordos al Evangelio de Jesucristo; y Dios guió a las iglesias de Cristo a llegar a los gentiles con el evangelio en lugar de a los judíos.

¿Lo ves? ¡Dios solo trajo ceguera y oídos sordos a los judíos, porque RECHAZARON A JESUCRISTO COMO SU MESÍAS! ¡Fue su propia culpa! Si se hubieran arrepentido y creído en Cristo cuando tuvieron la oportunidad de ser salvados o completos en Cristo, ¡entonces esto no habría sucedido! Amén.

¿Significa esto que Dios eligió a todos esos judíos para ir al infierno porque rechazaron a Cristo como su Mesías? Bueno, la Biblia no dice que “Dios los escogió para ir al Infierno”; pero dice eso

“Dios les ha dado el espíritu del sueño: ojos que ellos pueden no ver y oídos que ellos podrían no escuchar, hasta el día de hoy”

Éste fue el Juicio de Dios sobre ellos por rechazar a Jesucristo como su Mesías. Efectivamente es lo mismo que la elección al Infierno, porque si están ciegos al Evangelio, entonces ellos deben ir al infierno cuando mueren. Los pecados de los padres son visitados sobre las generaciones futuras de sus hijos como castigo por su rebelión contra Dios, en forma de ceguera espiritual y oscuridad en sus almas.

Sin embargo, Dios todavía está salvando a los judíos como individuos; y de hecho, hoy, se está predicando el Evangelio en la nación de Israel; y por lo que leí, ¡muchos están llegando a Cristo y siendo salvados! Amén. Creo que esta es una señal del inminente Retorno de Cristo.

Esto también les ha pasado a otros grupos de personas

Si examina la historia de la humanidad durante los últimos 2.000 años, encontrará que ciertos grupos de personas no tuvieron misioneros ni iglesias en sus países y no se predicó ningún evangelio durante cientos y cientos de años; por lo tanto, ¡todos en esos países perecieron y fueron al infierno por generaciones y generaciones!

¿Por qué pasó eso? Porque sus padres habían rechazado la Luz de la Revelación Natural (evidencia en la naturaleza que apunta a un Dios Creador que juzgará a todos después de la muerte); y también, sus padres rechazaron cualquier Escritura de la Biblia que pudieran haber escuchado, de modo que ellos no tenían esperanza de salvación alguna.

Y cuando rechazaron al único Dios verdadero, Jehová, se volvieron a adorar ídolos; ¡y esto trajo la ira de Dios sobre ellos y sus hijos!

Éxodo 20:2-6: “Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te saqué de la tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos. No tendrás ningún dioses apartes desde mí. Tú ni debe hacer para ti ninguna imagen tallada, ni ninguna semejanza de nada que esté arriba en el cielo, o que esté abajo en la tierra, o que esté en el agua debajo de la tierra; no te inclinarás a ellos, ni los servirás: PORQUE YO, JEHOVÁ TU DIOS, SOY UN DIOS CELOSO, VISITANDO LA MALDAD DE LOS PADRES SOBRE LOS HIJOS HASTA LA TERCERA Y CUARTA GENERACIÓN de los que me aborrecen, y mostrando misericordia a miles de ellos que me aman y guardan mis Mandamientos”.

¡Siempre hay CONSECUENCIAS cuando nos alejamos del único Dios verdadero! ¡Traemos su juicio sobre nosotros mismos y también sobre nuestros hijos! Amén.

Romanos 1:18-20: “Porque la ira de Dios se revela desde el Cielo contra toda impiedad e injusticia de los hombres, quienes suprimen la verdad en injusticia: porque lo que puede ser conocido de Dios se manifiesta en ellos: porque Dios lo ha mostrado a ellos. Porque las cosas invisibles de él desde la creación del mundo se ven claramente, siendo entendido por las cosas que se hacen; incluso su poder Eterno y Deidad, para que ellos están sin excusa”.

Romanos 10:18: “Pero digo, ‘¿Ellos no han escuchado [acerca del único Dios verdadero]?’. Si verdaderamente, “El sonido de ellos fue a través de toda la tierra, y sus palabras hasta los fines del mundo”.

Salmo 19:1-4: “Los cielos están diciendo la gloria de Dios, y la extensión del Universo muestra el trabajo de sus manos. Día tras día pronuncian discurso, y noche tras noche muestran conocimiento. No hay habla ni lenguaje, donde su voz no ha sido escuchada. Su línea se ha salido a través de toda la tierra y sus palabras hasta el fin del mundo”.

La Biblia es clara en que el testimonio de la Creación misma: las estrellas en el cielo, nuestra propia existencia en una bola que vuela por el espacio exactamente a la distancia adecuada del sol para sustentar nuestras vidas, es una prueba que somos la creación de un Dios Creador Todopoderoso, que un día juzgará a toda la humanidad por sus pecados. ¡Esto nos deja sin excusa ante los ojos de Dios!

Si dices No a Dios, estás trayendo una maldición sobre ti y tus hijos, ¡posiblemente por generaciones!

Categoría C, Elección potencial: Entre el resto de la humanidad, Dios elige para la salvación a muchos a quienes Él SABE (sabe de antemano) que responderán al Evangelio y serán salvados

MUCHOS son llamados a la salvación y PODRÍAN ser salvados, pero pocos son elegidos.

Matthew 20:16: “Así los últimos serán primeros, y los primeros últimos: porque muchos son los llamados, pero pocos los escogidos”.

Sólo son elegidos aquellos que Dios sabe que obedecerán el mandamiento del Evangelio de arrepentirse y creer en Jesucristo.

Romanos 8:29-30: “Para aquellos a quienes él conoció de antemano, también los predestinó a ser conformados a la imagen de su Hijo, para que él sea el primogénito entre muchos hermanos. Además, a los quien él predestinó, también él llamó a ellos; y los quien él llamó, también él justificó a ellos; y los quien justificó, también él glorificó a ellos”.

Los demás en esta categoría (que no fueron elegidos para salvación ni elegidos para condenación): Si rechazan la oportunidad de ser salvados o se niegan a creer en la Luz espiritual que tienen, entonces, lamentablemente, ellos continúan hacia el castigo eterno en el Infierno y, más tarde, en el Lago de Fuego por los siglos de los siglos, según sus obras; ¡Y será la propia culpa de ellos, 100%!

2 Pedro 3:9: “El Señor no es lento en relación con el cumplimiento de su promesa (como algunos hombres consideran la lentitud); pero es paciente para con nosotros: no dispuesto a que cualquiera debería perecer, sino que todo debería venir al arrepentimiento”.

Juan 3:16-17: “Porque Dios amó tanto al mundo, que él dio a su Hijo unigénito, que cualquiera que cree en él no deberían perecer, sino tener Vida Eterna”.

Proverbios 1:20-32: “La sabiduría clama afuera: ella da su voz en las calles; clama en el lugar principal de la concurrencia, en las aberturas de las puertas de la ciudad, ella pronuncia sus palabras, diciendo, ‘¿Cuánto tiempo, ustedes ingenuos, amarán la ingenuidad? Y ‘escarnecedores deleitarán en sus despreciando, y los necios odiarán el conocimiento? Volveos a mi reprensión. He aquí, os derramaré mi Espíritu; os daré a conocer mis palabras. Porque llamé, pero rechazasteis; yo he extendido mi mano, pero a nadie le importó; y desdeñasteis todo mi consejo, y no quisisteis ninguna de mis reprensión.

Por tanto, yo también reiré de vuestra calamidad; me burlaré cuando llega vuestro miedo; cuando llega vuestro como desolación, y vuestra destrucción viene como un torbellino; cuando os sobrevenga tribulación y angustia. Entonces me llamarán, y no responderé; ellos me buscaran temprano, pero no me hallarán: porque aborrecieron el conocimiento, y no escogieron el temor de Jehová. No quisieron ninguno de mis consejos, y despreciaron todas mi reprensión; por tanto, comerán al fruto de su camino, y se llenarán con sus propios dispositivos. Porque el dar la espalda de los ingenuos los matará, y la prosperidad de los tontos los destruirá”.

Lo mejor de esta categoría de pecadores es que si llevamos el Evangelio al mundo entero en obediencia al mandato de Cristo en su Gran Comisión, ¡se pueden salvar más personas de las que se salvarían de otra manera! Amén.

Romanos 10:17: “Así pues, la fe viene por el oír; y el oír por la Palabra de Dios”.

En otras palabras, ¡mientras más personas escuchen la Palabra de Dios, más habrá quienes tendrán fe para ser salvados! ¡Porque la Palabra de Dios tiene el poder de impartir fe en el pecador que la escucha! Amén.

No todos los que oyen la Palabra serán salvados; aquellos cuyo corazón sea receptivo y obediente a la Palabra del Evangelio, serán bendecidos por Dios con Luz espiritual y más fe; aquellos cuyo corazón no es receptivo y obediente a la Palabra del Evangelio recibirán oscuridad espiritual.

Mateo 13:3-9: “Y les habló muchas cosas en parábolas, diciendo, “He aquí, el sembrador salió a sembrar. Y cuando sembraba, parte de la semilla cayó junto al camino; y vinieron las aves y la comieron. Y parte cayó en pedregales, donde no había mucha suelo; y brotó luego: porque no tenía profundidad de suelo; pero cuando salió el sol, se quemó; y porque no tenía raíz, se secó. Y parte cayó entre espinos; y los espinos crecieron, y la ahogaron. Pero parte cayó en suelo bueno y dio fruto, cuál a ciento, cuál a sesenta, y cuál a treinta por uno. El que tiene oídos para oír, déjale oír”.

Mateo 13:12: “porque a cualquiera que tiene, se le dará, y tendrá más; pero al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será quitado”.

Si no se predica ningún Evangelio, nadie será salvado, ¡a menos que Dios intervenga directamente en su vida como en la categoría A anterior! Pero cuando obedecemos la Gran Comisión y predicamos el Evangelio a toda criatura, entonces muchas más serán salvados, ¡Y la población del Cielo crecerá en consecuencia y la futura población del Infierno disminuirá! Amén y amén.

Dios quiere decir lo que dice cuando la Biblia dice que Él no quiere que nadie perezca, sino que TODOS DEBERÍAN venir al arrepentimiento y a la fe en el Señor Jesucristo. ¡Dios quiere que todos estén en el Cielo con Él! Pero nuestra incredulidad y rebelión contra Él impide que eso suceda en la mayoría de los casos.

Resumen

Hay tres tipos de elección en la Biblia:

Categoría A, Elección Positiva: Aquellos que son elegidos para salvación y vida eterna sin necesidad de respuesta alguna por parte del pecador.

Categoría B, Elección negativa: Aquellos que están cegados por Dios al Evangelio, ya sea para sus propósitos especiales en la historia humana o como castigo por la rebelión de sus padres contra el Evangelio de Cristo.

Categoría C, Elección potencial: Todos los que respondan al Evangelio con fe y obediencia pueden ser salvadas; y por lo tanto Dios supo de antemano que responderían al Evangelio, ¡y por eso los eligió para la salvación! Y los que rechazan el Evangelio o la luz espiritual que tenían, ellos van al infierno, porque esa fue su elección.

DESDE EL PUNTO DE VISTA DE DIOS, quien ya sabe quienes estarán en el Reino de Dios al final del Tiempo, la elección de todos los que serán salvados ya ha sido hecha, y los nombres de sus elegidos ya están en el Libro de la Vida. Los elegidos de Dios fueron elegidos desde el fundamento de la Creación, basándose en la presciencia de Dios acerca de todas las cosas.

Sin embargo, DESDE NUESTRO PUNTO DE VISTA, ¡El número de los elegidos en el Cielo depende en gran medida de nuestras propias decisiones de alcanzar al mundo con el mensaje del Evangelio de Jesucristo o de negarnos a obedecer la Gran Comisión!

¡Ambas cosas son VERDADERAS y no entran en conflicto entre sí! Amén.

Esto debería motivar a cada creyente en Jesucristo a vivir para Dios todos los días, a repartir folletos en cada oportunidad, para compartir el mensaje del Evangelio con su familia y amigos, y brindar apoyo financiero a los misioneros a través de su iglesia para enviar el Evangelio a todos los rincones del mundo, ¡o entregar tu vida a Jesús para ir y predicar el Evangelio tú mismo! ¡Podemos hacer que el número de creyentes en el Cielo sea mayor de lo que sería sin nuestra obediencia a la Gran Comisión! Amén.

Si eres un creyente nacido de nuevo en Jesucristo, ¡VAYA A TRABAJAR PARA DIOS HOY! ¡Acumule tesoros en el Cielo, porque su tesoro en la Tierra puede marcar la diferencia para la Eternidad!

El punto de vista que acabo de explicar es el único que incorpora cada parte de la Biblia en una comprensión consistente. El calvinismo fracasa porque no incorpora las enseñanzas claras de que la elección para la Categoría C se basa en el conocimiento previo de Dios de quién responderá al llamado del Evangelio y será salvado. Cuantas más personas escuchen la predicación del Evangelio, más Dios podrá llamarlas y salvarlas.

Mientras tanto, hoy en día, ¡muchos calvinistas SE NIEGAN a invitar a los pecadores en sus sermones ser salvados! No irán a tocar puertas para invitar a pecadores a venir a la iglesia o a recibir a Cristo, porque creen que nada de lo que hagan hará la diferencia en si un pecador se salva o se pierde; y esto es un PECADO contra Dios. Amén.

ESTA SERÁ SU VERGÜENZA ETERNA, Y DIOS LOS REPRENDERÁ POR SU REBELIÓN CONTRA SU MANDO DE IR POR TODO EL MUNDO Y PREDICAR EL EVANGELIO A TODA CRIATURA (Marcos 16:15).

¡La solución siempre es arrepentirse y obedecer el Evangelio de Jesucristo!

Cuando escuchamos el Evangelio de Jesucristo, debemos responder inmediatamente con fe y obediencia al llamado a arrepentirnos de nuestros pecados y recibir a Jesucristo como nuestro Salvador personal. Amén.

Y luego, debemos seguir siguiendo al Señor Jesucristo todos los días de nuestra vida: asistencia a la iglesia, lectura de la Biblia, oración diaria por el arrepentimiento del pecado y la sumisión a la voluntad de Dios para nuestra vida.

Y cuando recibimos a Cristo como nuestro Salvador, pero no seguimos a Cristo diariamente, ¡traeremos su castigo sobre nosotros mismos!

Hebreos 12:5-13: “Y ustedes ha olvidado la exhortación que habla a ustedes como a niños: “Hijo mío, no desprecies la disciplina de [Jehová], ni desmayes cuando seas reprendido por él: porque quien [Jehová] ama, él disciplina; y él azota a todo hijo que recibe”. Si soportáis el castigo, Dios os trata como con hijos: porque ¿qué hijo es aquel a quien el padre no castiga? Pero si seáis sin el castigo, del cual todos son hechos partícipes, entonces ustedes son ilegítimos, y no sois verdaderamente hijos de Dios. Además, hemos tenido padres de nuestra carne que nos corrigieron; y les dimos reverencia. ¿No deberíamos, más bien, estar sujetos al Padre de los espíritus y vivir? Porque, verdaderamente, nos disciplinaron durante unos días después de su propio placer; pero él por nuestro bien espiritual, para que podamos ser partícipes de su santidad. Ahora, ninguna disciplina parece ser gozosa por el momento, sino dolorosa; aún después, da fruto apacible de justicia a los que lo experimentan. Por lo tanto, levantad las manos que cuelgan bajo, y las rodillas débiles; y haced caminos rectos para vuestros pies, a fin de que la parte coja no se puede dislocar, sino que más bien puede ser sanado”.

Como ser salvado!

¿Realmente has nacido de nuevo? ¡La mayoría de las personas que creen que van al Cielo en realidad están de camino al Infierno!

Si no has sido salvado según la Biblia a través del Señor Jesucristo, ¡definitivamente irás al infierno! ¡Esto es extremadamente importante! ¡Asegúrate de que realmente eres salvado, porque si no, las consecuencias para ti son SEVERAS Y NUNCA TERMINARÁN! Amén.

¡Date prisa hacia Jesús ahora! Porque nunca sabrás el momento que Dios llamará tu nombre y te llevará al Juicio.

Eclesiastés 9:12: “Porque el hombre también no sabe su hora de morir; como los peces atrapados en la red del mal, y como las aves atrapadas en el lazo, así los hijos de los hombres están atrapados en un tiempo malo, cuando de repente les sobreviene’”.

¡La iglesia no es el camino a Dios! ¡El bautismo no es el camino a Dios! ¡Tu religión no es el Camino a Dios! ¡María no es el Camino a Dios! ¡Mohammad no es el camino hacia Dios! ¡Los ídolos no son el camino a Dios! ¡Tus buenas obras no pueden salvarte!

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, ‘SOY EL CAMINO, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí’”.

Juan 10:1: Jesús dijo, “Verdaderamente, verdaderamente, os digo: el que no entra por la puerta en el redil de las ovejas, pero se trepa arriba alguna otra manera, lo mismo es un ladrón y salteador”.

Mateo 7:13-14: “Entrad en por la puerta estrecha: porque ancho es el portón y espacioso es el camino que conduce a la destrucción, y hay muchos quienes van en allí. Porque confinada es la puerta y angosto es el Camino que conduce a la Vida Eterna, y hay pocos quienes lo encuentran”.

La Biblia dice,

“que si confesarás con tu boca al Señor Jesús, y creerás en tu corazón que Dios le levantó de los muertos, tú serás salvado: porque con el corazón, el hombre cree para justicia, y con la boca, la confesión se hace para la salvación: porque la Escritura dice, “cualquiera que en él creyere, no será avergonzado”. Porque no hay diferencia entre el judio y el gentil: porque el mismo Señor sobre todo es rico a todos los que le invocan: porque está escrito, “Cualquiera que llamará sobre el Nombre del Señor será salvado”. Romanos 10:9-13

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra USTED. ¡No soy bueno y usted eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
