Romans, Chapter 2.3: The daily sanctification of believers through the Holy Spirit (6:1 - 8:39)

§Unique Introduction: Yield your bodies in obedience to God to have victory over sin (6:1 - 23)

¶Opposite After salvation, yield your bodies to be baptized by immersion, to walk in the likeness of his resurrection (6:1 - 7)

¶Opposite After baptism, yield your bodies to God every day to have continued victory over sin (6:8 - 23)

§Complement Body: The Holy Spirit gives life and peace to the believer and guarantees his resurrection to Eternal Life (7:1 - 8:27)

Introduction

Comments: Eternal Security is the Bible doctrine that God keeps the born again believer in Jesus Christ eternally secure in his salvation, from the instant that he repents and prays to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Savior until the moment that he dies, and the angels take his soul into Heaven forevermore.

This security is not something that a believer has to work for or to do something to keep it! No, the believer is kept within the grace and mercy of God on several different levels, so that, even if he wanted to, he cannot get out or leave the salvation of Jesus Christ!

This does not mean that everyone who prays a prayer to be saved is truly saved! A sinner cannot be saved except by repentance from sin and genuine faith in the Finished Work of Christ. God sees our heart; and if He sees that we are merely repeating words without repentance or faith in Christ, then we will remain a sinner!

Here are some examples of false conversions:

1) A sinner stands in front of the church, raises his hand, and repeats words such as this: “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God”.

2) A sinner is baptized (baby, teen, or adult) with the hope that the water will wash his sins away.

3) A sinner decides to stop being a bad person and calls himself a Christian.

4) A sinner decides to start keeping the Ten Commandments to impress God with his self-righteousness.

5) A sinner decides to join a church to impress his Christian neighbors.

6) A sinner joins a church to become more religious.

7) A sinner joins the (Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist etc) church with the hope that the church will take him to Heaven.

8) A sinner changes his mind about Jesus and believes that He is the Son of God.

9) A sinner starts doing meditation or yoga to become more spiritual.

Every one of these examples are of a sinner who is doing everything except what God requires for salvation! He did not repent of his sins and put his entire hope for the forgiveness of God and a future in Heaven in the Finished Work of Christ!

If any of these examples describe you, then currently you are lost and going to Hell! You will never see Heaven unless you truly obey the Gospel command to repent and trust in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for your sins.

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.’”

Matthew 7:21-23: “Not every one that says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but only he that does the will of my Father, who is in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your Name? And in your Name, have we not cast out demons? And in your Name, have we not done many wonderful works?’ And then will I profess to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you that work iniquity.’

And you need to hurry to Jesus now! Because you will never know the time when God will call your name and take you to Judgment.

Ecclesiastes 9:12: “For man also does not know his time to die; as the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.”

The rest of this study assumes that the sinner has truly repented of their sins and placed all of their hope for Heaven in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross to be saved.

¶Complement Nothing in this world can separate the Believer from the love of Christ (8:31 - 39)

First of all, notice the Golden Ratio design of the subparagraphs of the Conclusion section: both paragraphs have the identical “OO-CCU” Golden Ratio design with complementary themes. This design is consistent throughout the Bible. Some conclusion sections have only one paragraph, but it is always “OO-CCU” in design; which is powerful evidence that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

Opposite And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God: to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Complement whom he called, he also justified them;

Unique and whom he justified, he also glorified them.

Seven reasons that a born again believer in Jesus Christ can never go to Hell

1) ALL of my sins were paid for by Christ on the cross, without exception

This includes every sin that I sinned in the past, as well as every sin that I will commit in the future until the instant that I die. This is true, because I only existed in the mind of God when Jesus died on the cross for my sins 2,000 years ago! So at that moment, all of my sins were still future, and Jesus paid for all of them on the cross, one time for perpetuity! Amen.

Isaiah 53:4-5: “Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.”

1 John 2:1-2: “My little children, I write these things to you, so that you sin not; but if any man sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. And he himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Hebrews 10:12-14: “But this man [Jesus], after he had offered one sacrifice for sins into perpetuity, sat down on the right hand of God, from henceforth waiting until his enemies are made his footstool: for by a single offering he has perfected into perpetuity them that are being sanctified.”

Notice Hebrews 10:14: we were perfected into perpetuity (forever and ever) by the single offering of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins! Amen. This is our STANDING or POSITION before God. Once we have been born again, we have a new standing or position with God that we didn’t have before that is not based on our works; therefore, it can never change! Hallelujah!

And we are also BEING SANCTIFIED: this is our daily cleansing from sins that occurs as we repent and seek the forgiveness of God when we stumble in our walk with Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:7: “But if we walk in the Light, as he is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another; and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son constantly cleanses us from all sin.”

2) Salvation by faith alone without works guarantees that I cannot be lost by bad works

Romans 4:1-3: “What shall we say then that Abraham our father (according to the flesh) has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to glory in. But not before God: for what does the Scripture say? Abraham “believed in [Jehovah]; and his faith was credited to him for righteousness.”

Therefore, if I was saved by faith alone without works, then I cannot be lost by good or bad works! Salvation is by either works or faith; if it is by works, then it is not by faith; if by faith, then it cannot be by works. Faith and works are exclusive to one another; you cannot mix them together.

Romans 4:4-5: “Now, to him that works, the reward is not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that does not work, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited for righteousness.”

3) The faith of a believer in the Finished Work of Christ guarantees they will go to Heaven when they die

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been permanently saved through faith; and that faith is not out of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of our own works, lest any man should boast”

The Greek word for “saved” in this text is very powerful! The word is “σεσωσμενοι”, which is the perfect passive participle of “sózó” (to save).

The “perfect passive participle” means that something was done to the “subject” (passive voice), it occurred in the past (that is to say, an action was completed or perfected in the past - perfect tense), and the results of that action upon the subject continues on into the future without any ending (participle).

Therefore, the most accurate translation is

“you have been permanently saved”

This rendering is found only in the Kingdom Study Bible version, published by this ministry.

4) All things work together for good for the believer

Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God: to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

All things work together for good FOR THE BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST, not for the sinner!

In other words, for every one who ultimately repents of their sins and believes in Jesus Christ, they can look back to their life even before they were saved, and they can see how God preserved their life during times of danger, and also how God prepared them for their future service for Christ! In other words, even when they did not yet know Jesus as their Savior, God was working everything together for their ultimate good, Amen.

But for the sinner who never repents and turns to Christ before he dies, God tried to reach them during their lifetime with the Gospel; however, they refused the light that they had, and so they go on to their destiny in Hell; and later, the Lake of Fire, sadly.

5) God predestinated to salvation those whom He knows will believe in Jesus Christ and be saved

Romans 8:29: “For those whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

God knows in advance who will be saved, and who will never be saved; and those whom He foreknew would repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, He also predestinated them to be conformed to the image of his Son.

6) Sinners choose to go to Hell when they refuse the light of nature and the supernatural Light of the Gospel

This does not mean that God predestinated the ones who would never be saved to go to Hell! No, they choose that for themselves when they reject the Light that God gave us through nature (natural revelation) and also through the Word of God (supernatural revelation)! Amen.

Proverbs 1:20-32: “Wisdom cries outside; she utters her voice in the streets; she cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates in the city, she utters her words, saying, ‘How long, you naive ones, will you love gullibility? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my Spirit to you; I will make known my words to you. Because I have called, but you refused; I have stretched out my hand, but no man cared; and you have disdained all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof.

Therefore, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes, when your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. Then they shall call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but shall not find me, because they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Jehovah. They wanted none of my counsel, and they despised all my reproof; therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the naive shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”

7) Those whom God foreknew would trust in Christ will ultimately be glorified in Heaven

Romans 8:30: “Moreover, those whom he predestinated, he also called them; and whom he called, he also justified them; and whom he justified, he also glorified them.”

God knows who will believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, repent, and call upon Him to be saved. So when the time is right, God calls them, justifies them, and ultimately, God will glorify them in Heaven with Himself. Amen!

1) Jesus attracts or pulls the entire human race toward God through the Finished Work of Christ on the cross:

John 12:32: Jesus said, “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”

2) This means that God gives EVERYONE the opportunity to be saved in their lifetimes!

John 12:35-36: “Then Jesus said to them, ‘Yet a little while is the Light with you. Walk while you have the Light, lest darkness comes upon you: for he that walks in darkness does not know where he is going; while you have Light, believe in the Light, that you may be the children of Light.’”

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.”

2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slow concerning the fulfillment of his promise (as some men count slackness); but is longsuffering toward us: not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Ezekiel 33:11: “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord Jehovah, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways: for why will you die, O house of Israel?’”

Isaiah 45:22: “Look unto me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am the true God; and there is no other.”

3) The more that the Gospel of Christ is preached among the Lost, the more souls that have the opportunity to respond to the call of the Gospel and be saved!

Romans 10:17: “So then, faith comes by hearing; and hearing by the Word of God.”

John 4:35-38: “Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then harvest comes?’ Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields: for they are already white unto harvest. And he that reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit into Eternal Life, so that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; other men labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

Mark 16:15: “And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature!’”

Why would God command us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, unless doing that would create an opportunity for every sinner to be saved? Amen!

God towards the sinner is not like the cartoon Lucy with the football and Charlie Brown! Lucy holds the football for Charlie Brown to kick it; but at the last second, she pulls away the football, and Charlie comes crashing down to the ground.

But God is not like that! Amen. God is not a cruel monster who offers salvation to the entire world, but then refuses some who want to be saved, because they were not chosen by Him! This is the wicked view of Calvinism.

“Sorry, I didn’t choose you, so you have to go to Hell.” (How vile!)

No! Our God is a merciful and loving God who desires that everyone be saved! Amen.

I Timothy 2:3-4: “for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved, and to come into the knowledge of the Truth.”

Jesus is pulling every sinner towards Himself, so that if they truly want to know God, they can! But we must bring the Gospel to them, Amen. No one can be saved without the knowledge of the Gospel of the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for their sins.

Romans 10:17: “So then, faith comes by hearing; and hearing by the Word of God.”

Juan 14:6: “Jesus says to him, ‘I AM THE WAY, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.’”

Isaiah 6:8: “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am; send me.’”

4) However, most of humanity will refuse to take advantage of the offer of salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their unbelief or their open rebellion against God:

John 12:37: “But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him”

Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in there. For confined is the gate and narrow is the Way which leads to Eternal Life, and few there are that find it.”

Proverbs 1:20-25: “Wisdom cries outside; she utters her voice in the streets; she cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates in the city, she utters her words, saying, ‘How long, you naive ones, will you love gullibility? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my Spirit to you; I will make known my words to you. Because I have called, but you refused; I have stretched out my hand, but no man cared; and you have disdained all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof.”

From the perspective of God, who knows all things (past, present, and future), He knows who will believe the Gospel, repent, and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior from sin. So those persons, God will call them, and they will be saved. These are the sheep of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Those persons that God knows will not believe the Gospel, repent, and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior, He doesn’t call them; and so they are not saved. These are the goats.

We cannot possibly know who is a sheep or who is a goat! Only God has that knowledge, Amen. In this text, Jesus knew that the people in this conversation would never be saved, because He is God.

John 10:24-26: “Then the Jews came round about him, and said to him, ‘How long do you make us to doubt? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.’ Jesus answered them, ‘I told you, and you did not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s Name, they bear witness of me. But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I said to you.’”

But we cannot know that! If you had known me before I was saved, you would have said of me, “That man will certainly burn in Hell! He is a drug addict, alcoholic, and a loser.” But God knew that I would one day believe the Gospel, repent, and receive Jesus Christ as my personal Savior! Thank God and praise the Lord! Amen.

So God sent a Christian to tell me about Jesus Christ: he gave me Gospel tracts and a book about Bible prophecy; he witnessed to me about his faith in Jesus; and one day, I believed, and I repented and received the Lord Jesus as my Savior, HALLELUJAH!

So God commanded us to go and preach the Gospel to every creature:

Mark 16:15: “And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature’”

Matthew 28:18-20: “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority was given to me in Heaven and upon earth. Therefore go, and train disciples out of all nations; baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you. And, lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the Age.’ Amen.”

It is none of our business who the elect are! Preach the Gospel everywhere, and let God sort out the sheep from the goats! Amen.

If you have been born again, then thank God that your heart was receptive to the Word of God, and that you repented and obeyed the call of the Gospel.

¶Complement Nothing in this world can separate the Believer from the love of Christ (8:31 - 39)

Opposite What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Opposite He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Complement Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God who declares us righteous.

Complement Who is he that condemns? It is Christ who died for our sins; but more than that, was raised again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Unique Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake, we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us: for I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Comments: Once you are inside the Kingdom of God through repentance and faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for your sins, you cannot get out! Hallelujah!

“What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

If Almighty God is for us, NO ONE can be against us! Amen. Yes, we have many enemies in this world, including Satan and his demons; but these are only incidental problems that we all must face in this life. In the long run, they are nothing at all. Amen.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Amen, He will!

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God who declares us righteous.

All of our sins were placed on the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, so that He might atone for them all; and when we believed and called on his Name to save us, God declared us righteous in our standing with God, because of our faith in his Finished Work.

Romans 4:3: “for what does the Scripture say? Abraham ‘believed in [Jehovah]; and his faith was credited to him for righteousness.’”

Once we have trusted in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross for our salvation, then God declared us righteous in his sight: on the basis of our faith, and not of our works!

If our faith in Christ alone was sufficient for God to credit us with his righteousness, then our works have nothing to do with whether we are saved or lost! Our works will ultimately reflect the truth of our faith in the eyes of men; however, they cannot cause us to be saved or lost.

Who is he that condemns? It is Christ who died for our sins; but more than that, was raised again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Although Satan may bring accusations against us before the Lord, his accusations will fail, because Christ is always making intercession for us with God the Father, because of our faith in his Finished Work; and the fact that God has declared us to be righteous in our standing with Him.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake, we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us: for I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The answer is nothing and no one shall ever separate us from the love of our Lord Jesus Christ! In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us on the cross. Amen.

How to be saved!

A born again believer in Jesus Christ can never go to Hell! BUT, have you truly been born again? Most people who believe that they are going to Heaven are actually on their way into Hell!

If you have not been saved the Bible Way through the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are definitely going to Hell! This is extremely important! Make sure that you truly are saved, because if not, the consequences for you are SEVERE AND WILL NEVER END! Amen.

Hurry to Jesus now! Because you will never know the time when God will call your name and take you to Judgment.

Church is not the Way to God! Baptism is not the Way to God! Your religion is not the Way to God! Mary is not the Way to God! Mohammad is not the way to God! Idols are not the way to God! Your good works cannot save you!

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, ‘I AM THE WAY, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.’”

John 10:1: Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.”

The Bible says,

“that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved: for with the heart, man believes into righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made into salvation: for the Scripture says, “Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.” For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him: for it is written, “whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

Are you ready to do that? If so, then find a place to pray privately, and pray this prayer with all of your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Introducción

Comentarios: La Seguridad Eterna es la doctrina bíblica de que Dios mantiene al creyente nacido de nuevo en Jesucristo eternamente seguro en su salvación, desde el instante que él se arrepiente y ora para recibir a Jesucristo como su Salvador personal hasta el momento que muere y los ángeles llevan su alma al Cielo para siempre.

¡Esta seguridad no es algo por lo que un creyente tenga que trabajar o hacer algo para mantenerla! No, el creyente es mantenido dentro de la gracia y misericordia de Dios en varios niveles diferentes, de modo que, aunque quisiera, ¡no puede salir o dejar la salvación de Jesucristo!

¡Esto no significa que todo el que hace una oración para ser salvado es verdaderamente salvado! Un pecador no puede ser salvado excepto mediante el arrepentimiento desde el pecado y la fe genuina en la Obra terminada de Cristo. Dios ve nuestro corazón; y si Él vea que simplemente estamos repitiendo palabras sin arrepentimiento ni fe en Cristo, ¡seguiremos siendo pecadores!

Aquí hay algunos ejemplos de conversiones falsos:

1) Un pecador se para frente a la iglesia, levanta la mano y repite palabras como ésta: “Creo que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios”.

2) Un pecador es bautizado (bebé, adolescente o adulto) con la esperanza de que el agua lave sus pecados.

3) Un pecador decide dejar de ser mala persona y se llama cristiano.

4) Un pecador decide empezar a guardar los Diez Mandamientos para impresionar a Dios con su justicia propia.

5) Un pecador decide unirse a una iglesia para impresionar a sus vecinos cristianos.

6) Un pecador se une a una iglesia para volverse más religioso o espiritual.

7) Un pecador se une a la iglesia (católica, bautista, presbiteriana, metodista, etc.) con la esperanza de que la iglesia le lleve al Cielo.

8) Un pecador cambia de opinión acerca de Jesús y cree que Él es el Hijo de Dios.

9) Un pecador comienza a hacer meditación o yoga para volverse más espiritual.

¡Cada uno de estos ejemplos es de un pecador quién está haciendo todo menos lo que Dios requiere para la salvación! ¡No se arrepintió de sus pecados y puso toda su esperanza en el perdón de Dios y un futuro en el Cielo en la Obra terminada de Cristo!

Si alguno de estos ejemplos te describe, ¡actualmente estás perdido y yendo al infierno! Nunca verás el Cielo a menos que verdaderamente obedezcas el mandamiento del Evangelio de arrepentirte y confiar en la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz por tus pecados.

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, ‘Soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí’”.

Mateo 7:21-23: ““No todo el que me dice, ‘Señor, Señor’, entrará en el Reino del Cielo; sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre quien está en el Cielo. Muchos me dirán en aquel día, diciendo: ‘Señor, Señor, ¿no hemos profetizado en tu Nombre? Y en tu Nombre, ¿no hemos echado fuera demonios? Y en tu Nombre, ¿no hemos hecho muchas obras maravillosas?’. Y entonces yo profesaré a ellos, ‘Nunca os conocí; apartaos de mí, obradores de maldad’”.

¡Y debes apresurarte hacia Jesús ahora! Porque nunca sabrás el momento en que Dios llamará tu nombre y te llevará al Juicio.

Eclesiastés 9:12: “Porque el hombre tampoco sabe su hora de morir; como los peces atrapados en la red del mal, y como las aves atrapadas en el lazo, así los hijos de los hombres están atrapados en un tiempo malo, cuando de repente les sobreviene”.

El resto de este estudio asume que el pecador verdaderamente se ha arrepentido de sus pecados y ha puesto toda su esperanza en el Cielo en la Obra terminada de Jesucristo en la cruz para ser salvado.

Siete razones que un creyente nacido de nuevo en Jesucristo nunca puede ir al Infierno

1) TODOS mis pecados fueron pagados por Cristo en la cruz, sin excepción

Esto incluye cada pecado que cometí en el pasado, así como cada pecado que cometeré en el futuro hasta el instante que muera. ¡Esto es cierto, porque yo sólo existía en la mente de Dios cuando Jesús murió en la cruz por mis pecados hace 2000 años! Entonces, en ese momento, todos mis pecados aún eran futuros, y Jesús pagó todos ellos en la cruz, ¡una vez para perpetuidad! Amén.

Isaías 53:4-5: “Ciertamente llevó él nuestras enfermedades, y sufrió nuestros dolores; sin embargo, le considerábamos como castigado, herido por Dios y afligido. Pero él fue herido por nuestras transgresiones, él estuvo magullado por nuestras iniquidades; el castigo de nuestra paz estaba sobre él, y con las rayas de él, somos sanados”.

1 Juan 2:1-2: “Hijitos míos, os escribo estas cosas, para que no pequéis; pero si alguno hubiere pecado, tenemos un abogado con el Padre, Jesús Cristo el justo. Y él mismo es la propiciación por nuestros pecados; y no sólo por los nuestros, sino también por los pecados de todo el mundo”.

Hebreos 10:12-14: “Pero este hombre [Jesús], después él había ofrecido uno sacrificio por los pecados hasta perpetuidad, se sentó a la diestra de Dios, desde ese momento en adelante esperando hasta que sus enemigos son hechos su escabel: porque con una sola ofrenda él ha perfeccionado hasta perpetuidad a los que están siendo santificados”.

Observe Hebreos 10:14: ¡fuimos perfeccionados a perpetuidad (para siempre jamás) por la única ofrenda de Jesucristo en la cruz por nuestros pecados! Amén. Esta es nuestra POSICIÓN. Una vez que hemos nacido de nuevo, tenemos una nueva posición con Dios que antes no teníamos, que no está basada en nuestras obras; por lo tanto, ¡nunca podrá cambiar! ¡Aleluya!

Y también estamos SIENDO SANTIFICADOS: esta es nuestra limpieza diaria de los pecados que ocurre al arrepentirnos y buscar el perdón de Dios cuando tropezamos en nuestro caminar con Jesucristo.

1 Juan 1:7: “Pero si caminamos en la Luz, como él está en la Luz, tenemos compañerismo unos con otros; y la sangre de Jesucristo su Hijo constantemente nos limpia de todo pecado”.

2) La salvación solo por fe sin obras garantiza que no puedo perderme por malas obras

Romanos 4:1-3: “¿Qué, pues, diremos que Abraham nuestro padre (según a la carne) ha encontrado? Porque si Abraham fue justificado por las obras, tiene algo de lo que gloriarse. Pero no delante Dios: porque ¿qué dice la Escritura? Abraham “creyó en [Jehová]; y su fe fue acreditada a él por justicia”.

Por lo tanto, si fuera salvado sólo por fe sin obras, ¡entonces no puedo perderme ni por buenas ni por malas obras! La salvación es por obras o por fe; si es por obras, entonces no es por fe; si por fe, entonces no puede ser por obras. La fe y las obras son exclusivas una de otra; No puedes mezclarlos juntos.

Romanos 4:4-5: “Ahora bien, al que obra, la recompensa no se le cuenta de gracia, sino de deuda. Pero al que no trabaja, sino cree en Aquél que justifica al impío, su fe es acreditada por justicia”.

3) La fe de un creyente en la Obra Concluida de Cristo garantiza que ellos irán al cielo cuando mueran

Efesios 2:8-9: “Porque por gracia, habéis sido salvado permanentemente por medio de la fe, y esta fe no es desde ustedes; es don de Dios; no de nuestras propias obras, para que ningún hombre se jacte”

¡La palabra griega para “salvado” en este texto es muy poderosa! La palabra es “σεσωσμενοι”, cual es el participio pasivo perfecto de “sózó” (salvar).

El “participio pasivo perfecto” significa que se le hizo algo a “el sujeto” (voz pasivo), ocurrió en el pasado (es decir, una acción fue completada o perfeccionada en el pasado - tiempo perfecto), y los resultados de esa acción sobre el sujeto continúan en el futuro sin ningún final (participio).

Por lo tanto, la traducción más precisa es

“habéis sido salvado permanentemente”

Esta traducción se encuentra únicamente en la versión del Reino Estudio Biblia (REB), publicada por este ministerio.

4) Todas las cosas trabajan juntas por el bien del creyente

Romanos 8:28: “Y sabemos que todas las cosas cooperan para bien, a los que aman a Dios: a los que son los llamados según su propósito”.

¡Todas las cosas cooperan para el bien del CREYENTE EN JESUCRISTO, no para el pecador!

En otras palabras, para cada uno que finalmente se arrepienta de sus pecados y crea en Jesucristo, pueden mirar hacia atrás a su vida, incluso antes de ser salvados, y pueden ver cómo Dios preservó su vida en tiempos de peligro, ¡y también cómo Dios los preparó para su futuro servicio para Cristo! En otras palabras, incluso cuando todavía no conocían a Jesús como su Salvador, Dios estaba obrando todo para su bien supremo. Amén.

Pero para el pecador que nunca se arrepiente y se vuelve a Cristo antes de morir, Dios intentó alcanzarlos durante su vida con el Evangelio; sin embargo, rechazaron la luz que tenían, y así continúan hacia su destino en el Infierno; y más tarde, el Lago de Fuego, lamentablemente.

5) Dios predestinó para la salvación a aquellos que Él sabe que creerán en Jesucristo y serán salvados

Romanos 8:29: “Para aquellos a quienes él conoció de antemano, también los predestinó a ser conformados a la imagen de su Hijo, para que él sea el primogénito entre muchos hermanos”.

Dios sabe de antemano quiénes serán salvados y quiénes nunca serán salvados; y aquellos a quienes Él conoció de antemano que se arrepentirían y creerían en el Evangelio de Jesucristo, también los predestinó para que fueran conformados a la imagen de su Hijo.

6) Los pecadores eligen ir al Infierno cuando rechazan la luz de la naturaleza y la Luz sobrenatural del Evangelio

¡Esto no significa que Dios predestinó a los que nunca serían salvados para ir al infierno! ¡No, ellos eligen eso por sí mismos cuando rechazan la Luz que Dios nos dio a través de la naturaleza (revelación natural) y también a través de la Palabra de Dios (revelación sobrenatural)! Amén.

Proverbios 1:20-32: “La sabiduría clama afuera: ella da su voz en las calles; clama en el lugar principal de la concurrencia, en las aberturas de las puertas de la ciudad, ella pronuncia sus palabras, diciendo, ‘¿Cuánto tiempo, ustedes ingenuos, amarán la ingenuidad? Y ‘escarnecedores deleitarán en sus despreciando, y los necios odiarán el conocimiento? Volveos a mi reprensión. He aquí, os derramaré mi Espíritu; os daré a conocer mis palabras. Porque llamé, pero rechazasteis; yo he extendido mi mano, pero a nadie le importó; y desdeñasteis todo mi consejo, y no quisisteis ninguna de mis reprensión.

“Por tanto, yo también reiré de vuestra calamidad; me burlaré cuando llega vuestro miedo; cuando llega vuestro como desolación, y vuestra destrucción viene como un torbellino; cuando os sobrevenga tribulación y angustia. Entonces me llamarán, y no responderé; ellos me buscaran temprano, pero no me hallarán: porque aborrecieron el conocimiento, y no escogieron el temor de Jehová. No quisieron ninguno de mis consejos, y despreciaron todas mi reprensión; por tanto, comerán al fruto de su camino, y se llenarán con sus propios dispositivos. Porque el dar la espalda de los ingenuos los matará, y la prosperidad de los tontos los destruirá”.

7) Aquellos a quienes Dios conoció de antemano confiarían en Cristo, finalmente serán glorificados en el Cielo

Romanos 8:30: “Además, a los quien él predestinó, también él llamó a ellos; y los quien él llamó, también él justificó a ellos; y los quien justificó, también él glorificó a ellos”.

Dios sabe quién creerá el Evangelio de Jesucristo, se arrepentirá y le invocará para ser salvado. Entonces, cuando sea el momento adecuado, Dios los llama, los justifica y, en última instancia, Dios los glorificará en el Cielo consigo mismo. ¡Amén!

1) Jesús atrae o jala a toda la raza humana hacia Dios a través de la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz:

Juan 12:32: Jesús dijo: “Y yo, si fuere levantado de la tierra, atraeré a todos los hombres hacia mí”.

2) ¡Esto significa que Dios les da a TODAS la oportunidad de ser salvados durante sus vidas!

Juan 12:35-36: “Entonces Jesús les dijo, ‘Todavía por un momento la Luz está contigo. Camina mientras tienes la Luz, no sea que la oscuridad te sobrevenga: porque el que anda en tinieblas no sabe adónde va. Mientras ustedes tengan la Luz, crean en la Luz, para que sean hijos de la Luz’”.

Juan 3:16: “Porque Dios amó tanto al mundo, que él dio a su Hijo unigénito, que cualquiera que cree en él no deberían perecer, sino tener Vida Eterna”.

2 Pedro 3:9: “El Señor no es lento en relación con el cumplimiento de su promesa (como algunos hombres consideran la lentitud); pero es paciente para con nosotros: no dispuesto a que cualquiera debería perecer, sino que todo debería venir al arrepentimiento”.

Ezequiel 33:11: “Diles, ‘Como vivo yo,’ dice Jehová el Señor: ‘No tengo placer en la muerte de los impíos; sino, que el malvado se vuelve desde su camino y vive. Volveos, volveos de vuestros malos caminos: porque ¿por qué moriréis, oh casa de Israel?’”.

Isaías 45:22: “Mirad hacia mí y sed salvados, todos los confines de la tierra, porque yo soy el Dios verdadero; y no hay otra”.

3) Las más se predique el Evangelio de Cristo entre los perdidos, ¡las más almas tengan la oportunidad de responder al llamado del Evangelio y ser salvados!

Romanos 10:17: “Así pues, la fe viene por el oír; y el oír por la Palabra de Dios”.

Juan 4:35-38: “¿No decís, “Aún quedan cuatro meses; y luego la cosecha viene?’. He aquí, os digo: alzad vuestros ojos y mirad los campos: porque ellos ya son blancos para la cosecha. Y el que siega recibe salario, y recoge fruto para Vida Eterna: para que el que siembre y el que coseche pueden regocijarse juntos. Y en esto, ese dicho es cierto: “Uno siembra y otro cosecho’. Os envié a cosechar aquello por lo que no habéis trabajado; otros hombres trabajaron, y ustedes habéis entrado en sus labores”.

Marcos 16:15: “Y les dijo, “¡Id dentro todo el mundo y predicad el Evangelio a toda criatura!”.

¿Por qué Dios nos ordenaría ir por todo el mundo y predicar el Evangelio a toda criatura, a menos que haga eso crearía una oportunidad para que cada pecador sea salvado? ¡Amén!

¡Dios hacia el pecador no es como los personajes de dibujos animados Lucy con la pelota de fútbol y Charlie Brown! Lucy sostiene el balón para que Charlie Brown lo patee; pero en el último segundo, ella retira el balón y Charlie cae al suelo con estrépito.

¡Pero Dios no es así! Amén. ¡Dios no es un monstruo cruel que ofrece salvación al mundo entero, pero luego rechaza a algunos que quieren ser salvados, porque no fueron elegidos por Él! Esta es la perversa visión del calvinismo.

“Lo siento, yo no te elegí, así que tienes que ir al infierno”. (¡Qué vil!)

¡No! ¡Nuestro Dios es un Dios misericordioso y amoroso que desea que todos se salven! Amén.

I Timoteo 2:3-4: “porque esto es bueno y agradable delante de Dios nuestro Salvador, el cual quiere que todos los hombres ser salvados, y venga dentro del conocimiento de la verdad”.

Jesús está atrayendo a cada pecador hacia Él, para que si realmente quieren conocer a Dios, ¡puedan hacerlo! Pero debemos llevarles el Evangelio, Amén. Nadie puede ser salvado sin el conocimiento del Evangelio de la Obra terminado de Cristo en la cruz por sus pecados.

Romanos 10:17: “Así pues, la fe viene por el oír; y el oír por la Palabra de Dios”.

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, ‘SOY EL CAMINO, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí’”.

Isaías 6:8: “Después oí la voz del Señor, que decía, ‘¿A quién enviaré, y quién irá por nosotros?’. Entonces respondí yo, ‘Heme aquí, envíame a mí’”.

4) Sin embargo, la mayor parte de la humanidad se negará a aprovechar la oferta de salvación a través del Evangelio de Jesucristo a través de su incredulidad o su abierta rebelión contra Dios:

Juan 12:37: “Pero aunque había hecho tantos milagros delante de ellos, no creyeron en él;”

Mateo 7:13-14: “Entrad en por la puerta estrecha: porque ancho es el portón y espacioso es el camino que conduce a la destrucción, y hay muchos quienes van en allí. Porque confinada es la puerta y angosto es el Camino que conduce a la Vida Eterna, y hay pocos quienes lo encuentran”.

Proverbios 1:20-25: “La sabiduría clama afuera: ella da su voz en las calles; clama en el lugar principal de la concurrencia, en las aberturas de las puertas de la ciudad, ella pronuncia sus palabras, diciendo, ‘¿Cuánto tiempo, ustedes ingenuos, amarán la ingenuidad? Y ‘escarnecedores deleitarán en sus despreciando, y los necios odiarán el conocimiento? Volveos a mi reprensión. He aquí, os derramaré mi Espíritu; os daré a conocer mis palabras. Desde la perspectiva de Dios, que conoce todas las cosas (pasadas, presentes y futuras), Él sabe quién creerá en el Evangelio, se arrepentirá y recibirá a Jesucristo como su Salvador del pecado. Entonces, esas personas, Dios las llamará y serán salvas. ¡Estas son las ovejas del Señor Jesucristo!

Aquellas personas que Dios conoce no creerán en el Evangelio, no se arrepentirán y recibirán a Jesucristo como su Salvador, Él no las llama; y por eso no son salvados. Estas son las cabras.

¡No podemos saber quién es una oveja o quién es una cabra! Sólo Dios tiene ese conocimiento, Amén. En este texto, Jesús sabía que las personas en esta conversación nunca serían salvados, porque Él es Dios.

Juan 10:24-26: “Entonces los judíos le rodeaban, y le dijo, ‘¿Cuánto tiempo nos haces dudar? Si tú es el Cristo, díganos claramente’. Jesús les respondió: ‘Os dije, y no creísteis. Las obras que hago en el Nombre de mi Padre, ellos dan testimonio de mí. Pero no creéis, porque no sois de mis ovejas, como os dije’”.

¡Pero eso no lo podemos saber! Si me hubieras conocido antes de ser salvado, habrías dicho de mí, “¡Ese hombre seguramente arderá en el infierno! Es un drogadicto, alcohólico y un perdedor.” ¡Pero Dios sabía que algún día creería en el Evangelio, me arrepentiría y recibiría a Jesucristo como mi Salvador personal! ¡Gracias a Dios y alabado sea el Señor! Amén.

Así Dios envió a un cristiano para hablarme acerca de Jesucristo: me dio tratados evangelísticos y un libro sobre profecía bíblica; me dio testimonio de su fe en Jesús; y un día creí, y me arrepentí y recibí al Señor Jesús como mi Salvador, ¡ALELUYA!

Así Dios nos ordenó ir y predicar el Evangelio a toda criatura:

Marcos 16:15: “Y les dijo, “¡Id dentro todo el mundo y predicad el Evangelio a toda criatura!”.

Mateo 28:18-20: “Y Jesús vino y les habló, diciendo, “Toda autoridad me ha sido dado en el Cielo y sobre la tierra. Por tanto, id y entrenad discípulos fuera de todas las naciones, bautizándoles en el Nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo; enseñándoles observar todas las cosas, cualquier cosa que os he mandado. Y, he aquí, yo estoy con ustedes todos los días, hasta el fin de la Edad”. Amén”.

¡No es asunto nuestro quiénes son los elegidos! ¡Predicad el Evangelio en todas partes y dejad que Dios separe las ovejas de las cabras! Amén.

Si has nacido de nuevo, entonces gracias a Dios que tu corazón fue receptivo a la Palabra de Dios, y que te arrepentiste y obedeciste el llamado del Evangelio.

Lo opuesto “¿Qué, pues, diremos a estas cosas? Si Dios es por nosotros, ¿quién puede estar en contra de nosotros?

Lo opuesto “Él que no escatimó a su propio Hijo, sino le entregó arriba para todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará también con él todas las cosas?”.

El complemento “¿Quién traerá un cargo en contra de los elegidos de Dios? Es Dios quien nos declara justos.

El complemento “¿Quién es él que condenará? Es Cristo quien murió por nuestros pecados; pero más que eso, fue resucitado de nuevo, quien está aun a la diestra de Dios, quien también hace intercesión por nosotros.

Único “¿Quién nos separará del amor de Cristo? ¿La tribulación, la angustia, la persecución, el hambre, la desnudez, el peligro o la espada? Como está escrito, “Por tu bien, somos asesinados todo el día; nosotros somos contados como ovejas para la matanza”. No, en todas estas cosas somos más que vencedores a través de él quien nos amó: porque estoy persuadido que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni cosas presentes, ni cosas para venir, ni altura, ni profundidad, ni ninguna otra criatura podrán separarnos del amor de Dios, cual es en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro”.

Comentarios: Una vez que estás dentro del Reino de Dios a través del arrepentimiento y la fe en la Obra Terminada de Cristo en la cruz por tus pecados, ¡no puedes salir! ¡Aleluya!

“¿Qué, pues, diremos a estas cosas? Si Dios es por nosotros, ¿quién puede estar en contra de nosotros?”.

Si Dios Todopoderoso está por nosotros, ¡NADIE puede estar contra nosotros! Amén. Sí, tenemos muchos enemigos en este mundo, incluidos Satanás y sus demonios; pero estos son sólo problemas incidentales que todos debemos enfrentar en esta vida. A la larga, no son nada en absoluto. Amén.

“Él que no escatimó a su propio Hijo, sino le entregó arriba para todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará también con él todas las cosas?”.

¡Amén, Él hará!

“¿Quién traerá un cargo en contra de los elegidos de Dios? Es Dios quien nos declara justos”.

Todos nuestros pecados fueron puestos sobre el Cordero de Dios, Jesucristo, para que Él pudiera expiarlos todos; y cuando creímos e invocamos su Nombre para salvarnos, Dios nos declaró justos en nuestra posición ante Dios, a causa de nuestra fe en su Obra terminada.

Romanos 4:3: “porque ¿qué dice la Escritura? Abraham “creyó en [Jehová]; y su fe fue acreditada a él por justicia”.

Una vez que hemos confiado en la Obra terminada de Jesucristo en la cruz para nuestra salvación, entonces Dios nos declaró justos ante sus ojos: ¡sobre la base de nuestra fe, y no de nuestras obras!

Si nuestra fe en Cristo sola fue suficiente para que Dios nos acreditara su justicia, ¡entonces nuestras obras no tienen nada que ver con si somos salvados o perdidos! Nuestras obras reflejarán en última instancia la verdad de nuestra fe a los ojos de los hombres; sin embargo, no pueden hacer que seamos salvados o perdidos.

“¿Quién es él que condenará? Es Cristo quien murió por nuestros pecados; pero más que eso, fue resucitado de nuevo, quien está aun a la diestra de Dios, quien también hace intercesión por nosotros”.

Aunque Satanás pueda presentar acusaciones contra nosotros ante el Señor, sus acusaciones fracasarán, porque Cristo siempre está intercediendo por nosotros ante Dios Padre, porque de nuestra fe en su Obra terminada; y el hecho de que Dios nos ha declarado justos en nuestra posición ante Él.

“¿Quién nos separará del amor de Cristo? ¿La tribulación, la angustia, la persecución, el hambre, la desnudez, el peligro o la espada? Como está escrito, “Por tu bien, somos asesinados todo el día; nosotros somos contados como ovejas para la matanza”. No, en todas estas cosas somos más que vencedores a través de él quien nos amó: porque estoy persuadido que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni cosas presentes, ni cosas para venir, ni altura, ni profundidad, ni ninguna otra criatura podrán separarnos del amor de Dios, cual es en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro”.

¡La respuesta es que nada ni nadie nos separará jamás del amor de nuestro Señor Jesucristo! En todas estas cosas, somos más que vencedores por medio de Aquel que nos amó en la cruz. Amén.

Como ser salvado!

¡Un creyente nacido de nuevo en Jesucristo nunca puede ir al Infierno! PERO, ¿realmente has nacido de nuevo? ¡La mayoría de las personas que creen que van al Cielo en realidad están de camino al Infierno!

Si no has sido salvado según la Biblia a través del Señor Jesucristo, ¡definitivamente irás al infierno! ¡Esto es extremadamente importante! ¡Asegúrate de que realmente eres salvado, porque si no, las consecuencias para ti son SEVERAS Y NUNCA TERMINARÁN! Amén.

¡Date prisa hacia Jesús ahora! Porque nunca sabrás el momento que Dios llamará tu nombre y te llevará al Juicio.

Eclesiastés 9:12: “Porque el hombre también no sabe su hora de morir; como los peces atrapados en la red del mal, y como las aves atrapadas en el lazo, así los hijos de los hombres están atrapados en un tiempo malo, cuando de repente les sobreviene’”.

¡La iglesia no es el camino a Dios! ¡El bautismo no es el camino a Dios! ¡Tu religión no es el Camino a Dios! ¡María no es el Camino a Dios! ¡Mohammad no es el camino hacia Dios! ¡Los ídolos no son el camino a Dios! ¡Tus buenas obras no pueden salvarte!

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, ‘SOY EL CAMINO, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí’”.

Juan 10:1: Jesús dijo, “Verdaderamente, verdaderamente, os digo: el que no entra por la puerta en el redil de las ovejas, pero se trepa arriba alguna otra manera, lo mismo es un ladrón y salteador”.

La Biblia dice,

“que si confesarás con tu boca al Señor Jesús, y creerás en tu corazón que Dios le levantó de los muertos, tú serás salvado: porque con el corazón, el hombre cree para justicia, y con la boca, la confesión se hace para la salvación: porque la Escritura dice, “cualquiera que en él creyere, no será avergonzado”. Porque no hay diferencia entre el judio y el gentil: porque el mismo Señor sobre todo es rico a todos los que le invocan: porque está escrito, “Cualquiera que llamará sobre el Nombre del Señor será salvado”. Romanos 10:9-13

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra USTED. ¡No soy bueno y usted eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
