Romans, Chapter 2.2: Both Jews and Gentiles can only be justified through faith alone in the New Covenant Finished Work of Christ (2:17 - 5:21)
§Complement Introduction: Even the most religious person possible is condemned by the Law of Moses (2:17 - 3:8)
¶Opposite The proud Jew’s profession of faith in God is destroyed by his breaking of the Law of Moses (2:17 - 29)
¶Opposite God is always righteous in everything that He does, including judging sin (3:1 - 8)
§Complement Body: Justification from sin is by faith alone in the Finished Work of Christ without the works of the Law or circumcision (3:9 - 5:8)
¶Unique Both Jews and Gentiles can be justified by the same God through their faith in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ (3:9 - 31)

Comments: Here are the two paragraphs in our study:
¶Opposite The faith that Abraham exercised to be justified is the same faith that we must exercise to be justified from all sin (4:16 - 25)
¶Opposite The object of our faith must be Jesus Christ who died in our place and made the atonement for our sins (5:1 - 8)
Notice that the themes of these two paragraphs oppose each other, and the previous three paragraphs have the UCC (one unique, two complements) design. So the Golden Ratio design of the Body Section of this chapter is UCC-OO; or, one unique, two complements, and two opposites.
I updated the theme of the last paragraph since the previous study to make it more clear.
Paul was saying in these two paragraphs that
1) What kind of faith do we need to be saved? The faith that Abraham exercised to be saved.
2) What is the object of our faith that we must have to be saved? It must be Jesus Christ who died in our place and made the atonement for our sins.
Let’s look at these two paragraphs in detail.
¶Opposite The faith that Abraham exercised to be justified is the same faith that we must exercise to be justified from all sin (4:16 - 25)
Unique “Therefore, justification is by faith, that it might be by grace, to the end that the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the Law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham.
Complement “Who is the father of us all: as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”, before him whom he believed (that is God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which are not as though they were); who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, “So shall your seed be.”
Complement “And being not weak in faith, he did not consider his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old; neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He doubted not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, he was also able to perform; and therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”
Opposite “Now, it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
Opposite “but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.”
Comments: Let’s recall the context of this text in Romans 4:16-25, which is the previous text in Romans 4:1-15.
Romans 4:1-3: “What shall we say then that Abraham our father (according to the flesh) has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to glory in. But not before God: for what does the Scripture say? Abraham “believed in [Jehovah]; and his faith was credited to him for righteousness.”
In this passage in Romans 4:16-25, Paul explains in detail exactly how Abraham believed:
1) Abraham believed in the God who gave the promise to Him(in other words, the object of his faith was Jehovah God, not himself or his own works of righteousness):
Romans 4:17b-18: "...before him whom he believed (that is God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which are not as though they were); who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, 'So shall your seed be.'”
In other words, he believed in Jehovah and his Word, in spite of the lack of any visible evidence that it was true. This is true faith!
2) Abraham was fully persuaded (or convinced) that God could fulfill the promise that He had made to him.
Romans 4:19-22: “And being not weak in faith, he did not consider his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old; neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He doubted not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, he was also able to perform; and therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”
Therefore, we also must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and his Finished Work on the cross for our sins with the same faith and belief as Abraham.
Romans 4:23-25: “Now, it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.”
Many people say, “I like this part of the Bible, but not that part”. They think that they can treat the Bible like a grocery store, where we pick the things we like and reject what we don’t like; but that is false! Either the Bible is 100% true, or it is 100% false! The Gospel of Christ and the Bible go together as a complete package: there is no other choice here.
We must have full faith and confidence in the Bible as the Word of God, from beginning to end. We may not understand the Bible, and that is fine; but we don’t have to do that to be saved! We only need to have faith that even though we don’t understand every part of the Bible, or even most of it, we must believe that God knew what He was doing when He gave us the Scriptures in the Holy Bible; and one day, we will understand it all.
In other words, GIVE GOD THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AT ALL TIMES! Amen!
God will never accept a divided faith between Him and something else in your heart
You cannot say, “I believe the Bible, but I also believe the Pope or the “Church”; or the books of Mormon, or Mary Baker Eddy (“Christian Science”, so called), or Ellen G. White (Seventh Day Adventists), or Mohammad (Islam), or any other guru or false prophet.
All of these false teachers contradict the Holy Bible on many points; and so you must choose between them or the Holy Word of God.
The popes and the Bible have rarely agreed on anything in the last 1,400 years or so, especially on the matter of salvation and faith. The pope says that we should pray to Mary and to idols of her and other saints; but this is against the Word of God!
Psalm 115:2-11: “Why should the heathen say, “Where is their God now?” But our God is in the heavens; he has done whatsoever he has pleased. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see; they have ears, but they do not hear; they have noses, but they do not smell; they have hands, but they do not handle; they have feet, but they do not walk; neither do they speak through their throat. They that make them are like them; so is every one that trusts in them. O Israel, trust in Jehovah; he is their help and their shield. O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah; he is their help and their shield. You that fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah; he is their help and their shield.”
Deuteronomy 4:15-19: “Therefore take good heed to yourselves: for you saw no form on the day that Jehovah spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire; lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself a carved image: THE FORM OF ANY FIGURE, THE LIKENESS OF MALE OR FEMALE, the likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air, the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, or the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth; and lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, even all the constellations, you should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which Jehovah your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.”
Mohammad claimed that the Trinity was false; and that Jesus never died on the cross, which was a lie! Some muslims falsely claim that Jesus only swooned on the cross. But the Bible is filled with historical evidence that Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead; especially this chapter in Romans, the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, John, Mark, and Acts; and many more in the other Letters of Paul, Peter et al.
Ellen G. White (Seventh Day Adventists) denied the reality of eternal punishment for the Lost; and claimed that the Lost would simply be annihilated after the Great White Throne Judgment.
Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and witches, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 14:9-11: “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If any man worships the Beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation! And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb; and the smoke of their torment ascends up into Ages of Ages. And they have no rest day nor night, who worship the Beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.”
Ellen G. White also falsely claimed that Christians must keep the Sabbath day, in spite of the Biblical requirement in Numbers 28:9-10, that animal sacrifices must accompany the Sabbath day every week.
Numbers 28:9-10: “And on the Sabbath day you shall offer two lambs of the first year without spot; and two tenths of an ephah of flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and its drink offering. This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.”
But this is impossible for New Covenant believers, since animal sacrifices have been permanently replaced by the Finished Work of Christ on the cross (Hebrews 10:11-14) and the priests of Aaron were also permanently replaced by the Melchisedek priesthood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 7:11-28).
The same is true of books of false religion, such as the Books of Mormon, or the Apocrypha, or the Pseudepigrapha, or other so-called “lost books of the Bible”. There are no “lost books of the Bible”!
Every word of the Bible, every document of the Traditional Canon has been preserved to the present day, according to the promise of God that cannot lie.
Psalm 12:6-7: “The words of Jehovah are pure words; as silver tested in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. You shall keep them, O Jehovah; you shall preserve them from this generation forever.”
The Traditional Canon of Scripture fits perfectly within the Golden Ratio design; therefore there is no room within the Golden Ratio design for “other books” that were inspired by demons! See these studies for more details.
The Holy Bible MUST be our final authority for all matters of faith and practice! Otherwise, we are guilty of creating a new religion that is not based in the Bible; and that is a sin!
2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed; and is beneficial for doctrine, for rebuke, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be complete, and thoroughly equipped for all good work.”
Revelation 22:18-19: “For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this Book: if any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this Book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the Book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this Book.”
Isaiah 8:20: “To the Law and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no Light in them.”
God will never accept a partial faith in Him or the Bible, because that is really UNBELIEF; and unbelief leads to Hell.
Hebrews 11:6: “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for the one coming to God must believe that he exists; and that he is a rewarder of them that eagerly seek him.”
¶Opposite The object of our faith must be Jesus Christ who died in our place and made the atonement for our sins (5:1 - 8)
Opposite “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in assurance of the glory of God.
Opposite “And not only this, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation works patience; and patience, experience; and experience, assurance; and assurance does not shame us, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which was given to us.”
Complement “For when we were yet without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly:
Complement “for rarely will one die for a righteous man; yet perhaps for a good man, some would even dare to die.
Unique “But God demonstrated his love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died in our place.”
Comments: Notice that with these two paragraphs, Paul was no longer talking about how salvation was accomplished by Jesus on the cross. Rather, the Apostle Paul was talking about
1) how to receive the gift of salvation (previous paragraph);
2) and in this paragraph, who must be the object of our faith if we want to be saved.
From this point on to the end of the Letter to the Romans, Paul assumes that you, the reader of Romans, are a born-again believer in Jesus Christ; and that you have exercised the same faith that Abraham did when you repented of your sins and received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
Romans 5:1-2: “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in assurance of the glory of God.
Justification by faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross gives us:
1) Peace with God! Amen and amen.
2) We have access by faith to the throne room of God in Heaven through Christ:
Hebrews 4:14-16: “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest that has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our infirmities; but he was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy; and find grace to help in time of need.”
3) We have the assurance of our salvation! Amen!
and (we) rejoice in assurance of the glory of God.
1 John 5:11-13: “And this is the record, that God has given to us Eternal Life, and this Life is in his Son. He that has the Son has Life; and he that does not have the Son of God does not have Life. These things have I written to you that believe on the Name of the Son of God, that YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that you may continue to believe on the Name of the Son of God.”
And after we have been born again, God begins to help us through the troubles and trials in our lives so that we might grow up spiritually, and we might learn how much God truly loves us! Amen and praise the Lord!
Romans 5:3-5: “And not only this, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation works patience; and patience, experience; and experience, assurance; and assurance does not shame us, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which was given to us.”
And how much does God love us? He demonstrated (or proved) his love for us by sending his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to Earth, so that he might die for our sins on the cross 2,000 years ago! Amen.
Romans 5:6-8: “For when we were yet without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly: for rarely will one die for a righteous man; yet perhaps for a good man, some would even dare to die. But God demonstrated his love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died in our place.”
HOW TO BE SAVED!
You will never have peace outside of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Isaiah 48:22: “There is no peace,’ says Jehovah, ‘to the wicked.’”
Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins? And that He was buried, and that Jesus rose up from the dead on the third day?
The Bible says that if we believe these things, we can be saved, if we repent of our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Savior:
Romans 10:8-13: “But what does it say? “The Word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart”; that is to say, the Word of faith (which we preach), that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved: for with the heart, man believes into righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made into salvation: for the Scripture says, “Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.” For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him: for it is written, “whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”
If you are ready to be saved, then you can use the following prayer to repent and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Observe que los temas de estos dos párrafos se oponen entre sí, y los tres párrafos anteriores tienen el diseño UCC (uno único, dos complementarios). SEntonces, el diseño de la Proporción Áurea de la Sección del Cuerpo de este capítulo es UCC-OO; o uno único, dos complementarios y dos opuestos.

Veamos estos dos párrafos en detalle.
¶Lo opuesto La fe que ejerció Abraham para ser justificado es la misma fe que debemos ejercer para ser justificados de todo pecado (4:16 - 25)
Único “Por tanto, la justificación es por la fe, que puede ser por gracia, hasta el propósito que la promesa podría ser segura para toda la semilla; no sólo a lo que es de la Ley, sino también a lo que es de la fe de Abraham.
El complemento “Quien es el padre de todos nosotros: como está escrito, “Te he hecho padre de muchas naciones”; delante él en quien creyó; (eso es Dios, que da vida a los muertos y llama a las cosas que no son como si fueran); quien contra la esperanza creyó en la esperanza, que él podría convertirse en el padre de muchas naciones, de acuerdo a eso el cual se habló, “Así será tu simiente”.
El complemento “Y siendo no débil en la fe, no consideró su propio cuerpo ahora muerto, cuando él tenía como cien años; tampoco todavía la esterilidad de la matriz de Sara. No dudó de la promesa de Dios a través de la incredulidad, sino era fuerte en la fe, dando gloria a Dios; y siendo completamente persuadido, que lo que había prometido, también fue capaz de realizar; y por tanto, ello fue imputado a él por justicia”.
Lo opuesto “Ahora, no fue escrito solo por su bien, que ello fue imputado a él;
Lo opuesto “sino también por nosotros, a quienes será imputado, si creemos en el que resucito a Jesús nuestro Señor desde entre los muertos; quien fue entregado por nuestras transgresiones, y fue resucitado de nuevo para nuestra justificación”.
Comentarios: Recordemos el contexto de este texto en Romanos 4:16-25, que es el texto anterior en Romanos 4:1-15.
Romanos 4:1-3: “¿Qué, pues, diremos que Abraham nuestro padre (según a la carne) ha encontrado? Porque si Abraham fue justificado por las obras, tiene algo de lo que gloriarse. Pero no delante Dios: porque ¿qué dice la Escritura? Abraham “creyó en [Jehová]; y su fe fue acreditada a él por justicia”.
En este pasaje de Romanos 4:16-25, Pablo explica en detalle exactamente cómo creyó Abraham:
1) Abraham creyó en el Dios que le dio la promesa (en otras palabras, el objeto de su fe era Jehová Dios, no él mismo ni sus propias obras de justicia):
Romanos 4:17b-18: “...delante él en quien creyó; (eso es Dios, que da vida a los muertos y llama a las cosas que no son como si fueran); quien contra la esperanza creyó en la esperanza, que él podría convertirse en el padre de muchas naciones, de acuerdo a eso el cual se habló, “Así será tu simiente”.
En otras palabras, creía en Jehová y su Palabra, a pesar de la falta de evidencia visible de que fuera verdad. ¡Esta es la verdadera fe!
2) Abraham estaba completamente persuadido (o convencido) de que Dios podía cumplir la promesa que le había hecho.
Romanos 4:19-22: “Y siendo no débil en la fe, no consideró su propio cuerpo ahora muerto, cuando él tenía como cien años; tampoco todavía la esterilidad de la matriz de Sara. No dudó de la promesa de Dios a través de la incredulidad, sino era fuerte en la fe, dando gloria a Dios; y siendo completamente persuadido, que lo que había prometido, también fue capaz de realizar; y por tanto, ello fue imputado a él por justicia.
Por lo tanto, nosotros también debemos creer en el Señor Jesucristo y su Obra Terminada en la cruz por nuestros pecados con la misma fe y creencia as Abraham.
Romanos 4:23-25: “Ahora, no fue escrito solo por su bien, que ello fue imputado a él; sino también por nosotros, a quienes será imputado, si creemos en el que resucito a Jesús nuestro Señor desde entre los muertos; quien fue entregado por nuestras transgresiones, y fue resucitado de nuevo para nuestra justificación”.
Mucha gente dice: “Me gusta esta parte de la Biblia, pero no aquella parte”. Piensan que pueden tratar la Biblia como una tienda de comestibles, donde elegimos las cosas que nos gustan y rechazamos las que no nos gustan; ¡pero eso es falso! ¡O la Biblia es 100% verdadera o es 100% falsa! El Evangelio de Cristo y la Biblia van juntos como un paquete completo: aquí no hay otra opción.
Debemos tener plena fe y confianza en la Biblia como Palabra de Dios, desde principio a fin. Puede que no entendamos la Biblia, y eso está bien; ¡pero no tenemos que hacer eso para ser salvados! Sólo necesitamos tener fe en que, aunque ni entendamos cada parte de la Biblia, o incluso la mayor parte de ella, debemos creer que Dios sabía lo que hacía cuando nos dio las Escrituras en la Santa Biblia; y un día lo entenderemos todo.
En otras palabras, ¡DALE A DIOS EL BENEFICIO DE LA DUDA EN TODO MOMENTO! ¡Amén!
Dios nunca aceptará una fe dividida entre Él y algo más en tu corazón
No se puede decir: “Creo en la Biblia, pero también creo en el Papa o en la “Iglesia”; o los libros de Mormón, o Mary Baker Eddy (“Ciencia Cristiana”, así llamada), o Ellen G. White (Adventistas del Séptimo Día), o Mahoma (Islam), o cualquier otro gurú o falso profeta.
Todos estos falsos maestros contradicen la Santa Biblia en muchos puntos; y por eso debéis elegir entre ellos o la Santa Palabra de Dios.
Los papas y la Biblia rara vez se han puesto de acuerdo en algo en los últimos 1.400 años más o menos, especialmente en materia de salvación y fe. El Papa dice que debemos orar a María y a sus ídolos y a otros santos; ¡pero esto va en contra de la Palabra de Dios!
Salmo 115:2-11: “¿Por qué han de decir las gentes, “¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?”. Nuestro Dios está en los cielos; todo lo que quiso ha hecho. Los ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres. Tienen boca, pero no hablan; tienen ojos, pero no ven; orejas tienen, pero no oyen; tienen narices, pero no huelen; manos tienen, pero no palpan; tienen pies, pero no andan; ni hablan con su garganta. Como son los que los hacen, y cualquiera que en ellos confía. Oh Israel, confía en Jehová; él es su ayuda y su escudo. Casa de Aarón, confiad en Jehová; él es su ayuda y su escudo. Los que teméis a Jehová, confiad en Jehová; él es su ayuda y su escudo”.
Deuteronomio 4:15-19: “Guardad, pues, mucho vuestras almas: pues ninguna figura visteis el día que Jehová habló con ustedes de en medio del fuego; para que no os corrompáis, y hagáis para ustedes escultura, imagen de figura alguna, efigie de varón o hembra, figura de algún animal que sea en la tierra, figura de ave alguna alada que vuele por el aire, figura de ningún animal que vaya arrastrando por la tierra, figura de pez alguno que haya en el agua debajo de la tierra. No sea que alzando tus ojos al cielo, y viendo el sol y la luna y las estrellas, y todo el ejército del cielo, seas incitado, y te inclines a ellos, y les sirvas: porque Jehová tu Dios los ha concedido a todos los pueblos debajo de todos los cielos”.
Mahoma afirmó que la Trinidad era falsa; y que Jesús nunca murió en la cruz, ¡lo cual era mentira! Algunos musulmanes afirman falsamente que Jesús sólo se desmayó en la cruz. Pero la Biblia está llena de evidencia histórica de que Jesús murió en la cruz y resucitó de entre los muertos; especialmente este capítulo de Romanos, los evangelios de Mateo, Lucas, Juan, Marcos y Hechos; y muchos más en las otras Cartas de Pablo, Peter et al.
Ellen G White (Adventistas del Séptimo Día) negó la realidad del castigo eterno para los perdidos; y afirmó que los Perdidos simplemente serían aniquilados después del Juicio del Gran Trono Blanco.
La revelación 21:8: “Pero los temerosos e incrédulos, los abominables y homicidas, los fornicarios y hechiceros, los idólatras y todos los mentirosos tendrán su parte en el lago que arde con fuego y azufre, que es la muerte segunda”.
La revelación 14:9-11: “Y el tercer ángel los siguió, diciendo en alta voz, “Si alguno adora a la Bestia y a su imagen, y recibe la marca en su frente, o en su mano, él también beberá del vino de la ira de Dios, el cual es vaciado puro en el cáliz de su ira; y será atormentado con fuego y azufre delante de los santos ángeles, y delante del Cordero; y el humo del tormento de ellos sube para siempre jamás; y los que adoran a la Bestia y a su imagen no tienen reposo ni de día ni de noche, ni cualquiera que reciba la marca de su nombre”.
Ellen G White también afirmó falsamente que los cristianos deben guardar el día de reposo, a pesar del requisito bíblico de Números. 28:9-10, que los sacrificios de animales deben acompañar el día de reposo cada semana.
Números 28:9-10: “Y ofrecerás el segundo cordero entre las dos tardes: conforme a la ofrenda de la mañana, y conforme a su libación ofrecerás, ofrenda encendida en olor grato a Jehová. Y en el día del Sábado dos corderos de un año sin defecto, y dos décimas de un efa de harina para ofrenda de cereal, amasada con aceite y su libación. Es el holocausto del Sábado en cada Sábado, además del holocausto continuo y su libación.
Pero esto es imposible para los creyentes del Nuevo Pacto, ya que los sacrificios de animales han sido reemplazados permanentemente por la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz (Hebreos 10:11-14) y los sacerdotes de Aarón también fueron reemplazados permanentemente por el sacerdocio de Melquisedec de Jesucristo (Hebreos 7:11-28).
Lo mismo se aplica a los libros de religión falsa, como los Libros de Mormón, los Apócrifos, los Pseudepigrapha u otros de los llamados “libros perdidos de la Biblia”.
¡No hay “libros perdidos de la Biblia”! Cada palabra de la Biblia, cada documento del Canon Tradicional ha sido preservado hasta el día de hoy, según la promesa de Dios que no puede mentir.
Salmo 12:6-7: “Las palabras de Jehová son palabras puras; como plata probada en un horno de tierra, purificada siete veces. Tú los guardarás, oh Jehová; tú los preservarás desde esta generación para siempre”.
El Canon Tradicional de las Escrituras encaja perfectamente dentro el diseño de la Proporción Áurea de la Biblia; por lo tanto, dentro del diseño de la Proporción Áurea de la Biblia no hay lugar para “otros libros” que fueron inspirados por demonios. Vea estos estudios para más detalles.
¡La Santa Biblia DEBE ser nuestra autoridad final para todos los asuntos de fe y práctica! De lo contrario, somos culpables de crear una nueva religión que no está basada en la Biblia; ¡Y eso es un pecado!
2 Timoteo 3:16-17: “Toda la Escritura es dada por inspiración de Dios; y es beneficioso para la doctrina, para la reprensión, para la corrección, y para la instrucción en la rectitud; para que el hombre de Dios puede estar completo y completamente equipado para todo buen trabajo”.
La revelación 22:18-19: “Porque yo testifico a cualquiera que oye las palabras de la profecía de este Libro, si alguno añadiere a estas cosas, Dios añadirá sobre él las plagas que están escritas en este Libro. Y si alguno quitare de las palabras del Libro de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del Libro de la Vida, y de la santa ciudad, y de las cosas que están escritas en este Libro”.
Isaías 8:20: “A la Ley y al Testimonio: si no hablan de acuerdo con esta Palabra, es porque no hay Luz en ellos”.
Dios nunca aceptará una fe parcial en Él o en la Biblia, porque eso es realmente INCREDULIDAD; y la incredulidad lleva al infierno.
Hebreos 11:6: “Pero sin fe, es imposible agradar a Él: el que viene a Dios ha de creer que existe; y que él es un recompensador de los que le buscan ansiosamente”.
¶Lo opuesto El objeto de nuestra fe debe ser Jesucristo, quien murió en nuestro lugar e hizo la expiación por nuestros pecados (5:1 - 8)
Lo opuesto “Por lo tanto, siendo justificados por la fe, tenemos paz con Dios a través de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo, por quien también tenemos acceso por fe en a esta gracia en la cual estamos firmes, y nos gloriamos en la certeza de la gloria de Dios.
Lo opuesto “Y no sólo esto, sino nos gloriamos en las tribulaciones también, sabiendo que la tribulación produce la paciencia; y la paciencia, la experiencia; y la experiencia, la certeza; y la certeza no nos avergüenza: porque el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo que nos ha sido dado”.
El complemento “Porque cuando aún estábamos sin fuerza, a su debido tiempo, Cristo murió para los impíos:
El complemento “porque raramente morirá uno para un hombre justo; aún, quizás para un buen hombre, algunos incluso se atreverían a morir.
Único “Pero Dios demostró su amor hacia nosotros, en que, mientras aún éramos pecadores, Cristo murió en nuestro lugar”.
Comentarios: Note que con estos dos párrafos, Pablo ya no estaba hablando de cómo Jesús logró la salvación en la cruz. Más bien, el apóstol Pablo estaba hablando de
1) cómo recibir el don de la salvación (párrafo anterior);
2) y en este párrafo, quién debe ser el objeto de nuestra fe si queremos ser salvados.
Desde este punto en adelante hasta el final de la Carta a los Romanos, Pablo asume que tú, el lector de Romanos, es un creyente nacido de nuevo en Jesucristo; y que has ejercido la misma fe que ejerció Abraham cuando te arrepentiste de tus pecados y recibiste a Jesucristo como tu Salvador personal.
Romanos 5:1-2: “Por lo tanto, siendo justificados por la fe, tenemos paz con Dios a través de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo, por quien también tenemos acceso por fe en a esta gracia en la cual estamos firmes, y nos gloriamos en la certeza de la gloria de Dios”.
La justificación por la fe en la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz nos da:
1) ¡Paz con Dios! Amén y amén.
2) Tenemos acceso por fe al trono de Dios en el Cielo a través de Cristo.
Hebreos 4:14-16: “Viendo entonces que tenemos un gran Sumo Sacerdote que ha pasado en a los cielos, Jesús el Hijo de Dios, mantengamos firme nuestra profesión. Porque no tenemos un Sumo Sacerdote quien no puede simpatizar con nuestras debilidades; pero en todos los puntos, él fue tentado como somos, aún sin pecado. Por lo tanto, vengamos audazmente al Trono de la Gracia, que podamos obtener misericordia; y encontrar gracia para ayudar en tiempos de necesidad”.
3) ¡Tenemos la seguridad de nuestra salvación! Amén!
y nos gloriamos en la certeza de la gloria de Dios
1 Juan 5:11-13: “Y este es el registro, que Dios nos ha dado a Vida Eterna, y esta Vida está en su Hijo. El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la Vida; y el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene la Vida. Estas cosas os he escrito a ustedes que creéis en el Nombre del Hijo de Dios, PARA QUE SEPÁIS QUE TENÉIS VIDA ETERNA, y para que sigáis creyendo en el Nombre del Hijo de Dios”.
Y después de que hemos nacido de nuevo, Dios comienza a ayudarnos a través de los problemas y pruebas de nuestras vidas para que podamos crecer espiritualmente y ¡aprender cuánto Dios realmente nos ama! ¡Amén y alabado sea el Señor!
Romanos 5:3-5: “Y no sólo esto, sino nos gloriamos en las tribulaciones también, sabiendo que la tribulación produce la paciencia; y la paciencia, la experiencia; y la experiencia, la certeza; y la certeza no nos avergüenza: porque el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo que nos ha sido dado”.
¿Y cuánto nos ama Dios? ¡Él demostró su amor por nosotros al enviar a su Hijo unigénito, el Señor Jesucristo, a la Tierra, para que pudiera morir por nuestros pecados en la cruz hace 2000 años! Amén.
Romans 5:6-8: “Porque cuando aún estábamos sin fuerza, a su debido tiempo, Cristo murió para los impíos: porque raramente morirá uno para un hombre justo; aún, quizás para un buen hombre, algunos incluso se atreverían a morir. Pero Dios demostró su amor hacia nosotros, en que, mientras aún éramos pecadores, Cristo murió en nuestro lugar”.
¡COMO SER SALVADO!
¡Nunca tendrás paz fuera del Señor Jesucristo!
Isaías 48:22: “No hay paz’, dice Jehová, ‘para los malvados.’”
¿Crees que Jesucristo murió en la cruz por tus pecados? ¿Y que fue sepultado y que Jesús resucitó de entre los muertos al tercer día?
La Biblia dice que si creemos estas cosas, podemos ser salvados, si nos arrepentimos de nuestros pecados y recibimos a Jesucristo como nuestro Salvador personal:
Romanos 10:8-13: “Pero ¿qué dice? “La Palabra está cerca de ti, incluso en tu boca y en tu corazón”, es decir, la Palabra de fe (que predicamos), que si confesarás con tu boca al Señor Jesús, y creerás en tu corazón que Dios le levantó de los muertos, tú serás salvado: porque con el corazón, el hombre cree para justicia, y con la boca, la confesión se hace para la salvación: porque la Escritura dice, “cualquiera que en él creyere, no será avergonzado”. Porque no hay diferencia entre el judio y el gentil: porque el mismo Señor sobre todo es rico a todos los que le invocan: porque [está escrito], “Cualquiera que llamará sobre el Nombre del Señor será salvado”.
Si estás listo para ser salvado, entonces puedes usar la siguiente oración para arrepentirte y recibir al Señor Jesucristo como tu Salvador personal:
“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra USTED. ¡No soy bueno y usted eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
