Romans, Chapter 2.2: Both Jews and Gentiles can only be justified through faith alone in the New Covenant Finished Work of Christ (2:17 - 5:21)

§Complement Introduction: Even the most religious person possible is condemned by the Law of Moses (2:17 - 3:8)

¶Opposite The proud Jew’s profession of faith in God is destroyed by his breaking of the Law of Moses (2:17 - 29)

¶Opposite God is always righteous in everything that He does, including judging sin (3:1 - 8)

§Complement Body: Justification from sin is by faith alone in the Finished Work of Christ without the works of the Law or circumcision (3:9 - 5:8)

No, not at all: for we have already demonstrated both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under the curse of sin: as it is written, “No one is righteous; no, not even one. There is no one that understands; there is no one that seeks after God; they have all gone out of the Way; they have together become unprofitable. There are none that do good; no, not even one. Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips, whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their ways; and they have not known the Way of peace. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” And we know that whatsoever things the Law says, it says to them who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be shut, and all the world may become guilty before God; therefore, by the works of the Law, no flesh shall be justified in his sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin.

Opposite But now, the righteousness of God apart from the Law is revealed (being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets): even the righteousness of God which is through faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference, because all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus; whom God has displayed publicly, to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the passing over of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness, so that God might be just, and the justifier of him who believes in Jesus.

Complement Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what Law? Of works? No, but by the Law of faith; therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law.

Complement Is he the God of the Jews only? Is he not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, seeing that there is one true God, who shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through the same faith.

Unique Do we then make the Law void through faith? Certainly not. In fact, we establish the Law.

Comments: Here is a compressed version of this paragraph outline. Notice the Golden Ratio design in reverse: two opposites, two complements, and one unique:

Opposite The Law of Moses (the Ten Commandments or the Moral Law) condemns every sinner and declares them guilty before God

Opposite The Finished Work of Christ on the cross freely justifies every sinner who repents and receives Jesus Christ as their personal Savior

Complement Sinners are justified by faith in the Finished Work of Christ apart from the works of the Moral Law of Moses

Complement Jehovah is the one true God of both Jews and Gentiles who justifies both of them by the same faith in the Finished Work of Christ

Unique The Law is established by faith in the Finished Work of Christ

Let’s take a closer look at the second subparagraph. This is the heart of the Christian faith, because it contains a complete expression of the Finished Work of Christ, which He accomplished for us on the cross, so that if we repent and believe in Him and what He did for us there, then we are saved eternally! Amen.

Romans 3:21-26: “But now, the righteousness of God apart from the Law is revealed (being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets): even the righteousness of God which is through faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference, because all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus; whom God has displayed publicly, to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the passing over of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness, so that God might be just, and the justifier of him who believes in Jesus.”

On the other hand, if we do not believe in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross, then we will perish eternally in Hell, and later, the Lake of Fire! This truth is the dividing line between believers in Christ and unbelievers. So it is very important to know and understand.

Liberals reject the Finished Work of Christ on the cross

Liberals attack the Finished Work of Christ as a “bloody” religion, because they believe that they can work their way into Heaven by doing good works. They are full of pride in their own accomplishments, and believe that God will weigh their good deeds against their bad deeds; and if their good deeds outweigh their bad deeds, then God will welcome them into Heaven.

To them, it doesn’t matter that the Bible doesn’t teach this falsehood, because they don’t believe that the Bible is the Word of God and the Final Authority for all matters of faith and practice. Their authority for their beliefs is based on their opinions, not the Bible.

Hindus and other false religions reject the Finished Work of Christ on the cross

Hindus and other polytheists worship false gods by the thousands, even millions. They do not believe that Jesus is any different than their own gods. Many have never read the Bible, so they do not know that Jesus is the one true God and their own gods are nothing more than demons.

Mark 1:23-24: "And in their synagogue was a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, saying, “Leave us alone! What have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are, the Holy One of God!”

Mark 3:11: "And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him; and they cried, saying, “You are the Son of God!”

Mark 5:6-7: "But when he saw Jesus far away, he ran and worshiped him; and he cried with a loud voice, and said, “What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure you by God, that you do not torment me!”

1 Chronicles 16:25-26: "For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised; he also is to be feared above all gods: for all the gods of the people are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens."

I Corinthians 10:20: "But I say rather, that the things which the heathen sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want you to be partakers of demons."

They are slaves to their false demon gods. They either do not know that Jesus has paid the penalty for their sins or they reject the Bible entirely as the Word of God, similarly to Muslims and Roman Catholics.

They will go to Hell, and later, the Lake of Fire, unless they repent of their false gods and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and his Finished Work on the cross as their only hope of salvation. May God open their eyes and their hearts to believe this truth:

John 14:6: "Jesus says to him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.""

Muslims reject the Finished Work of Christ on the cross

Likewise, Muslims also reject the Finished Work of Christ on the cross:

“The biblical account of the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus (Īsā) recorded in the Christian New Testament is traditionally rejected by the major branches of Islam, but like Christians they believe that Jesus ascended to heaven and he will, according to Islamic literary sources, return before the end of time. The various sects of Islam have different views regarding this topic; traditionally, mainstream Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified but was bodily raised up to heaven by God, while Ahmadi Muslims reject this belief and instead contend that Jesus survived the crucifixion, was taken off the cross alive and continued to preach in India until his natural death.” Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_views_on_Jesus%27s_death

But Jesus could not have survived the crucifixion, since a Roman soldier took his spear and pierced the heart of Jesus with it; and blood and water flowed out! This is proof that Jesus truly died on the cross that day.

John 19:33-34: “But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs; but one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and immediately blood and water came out.”

Also, after the resurrection of Jesus, the body of Jesus still had the holes in his hands from the nails; and also in his side where the soldier had pierced Him to his heart; and yet, He was alive and did not bleed, because Jesus had a powerful resurrection body that doesn’t need blood anymore! Amen.

John 20:24-29: “But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came; therefore the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them; and Jesus came, the doors being shut; and he stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you.” Then he says to Thomas, “Extend your finger, and behold my hands; and extend your hand, and thrust it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus says to him, “Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Would to God that Muslims would simply believe the Word of God, repent of their unbelief in Jesus as the Son of God and be saved! They have been lied to about Jesus, the resurrected Son of God! Amen.

Revelation 1:12-18: “And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girded around the chest with a golden band. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were like a flame of fire; and his feet like fine bronze, as if they burned in a furnace. And his voice was like the sound of many waters. And he had seven stars in his right hand. And out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword. And his countenance was like the sun shining in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, “Fear not; I am the First and the Last. I am he that lives, and was dead. And, behold, I am alive into the Ages of the Ages, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of death.”

Muslims reject the teaching that Jesus is the Son of God

In addition, Muslims reject the teaching that Jesus is the Son of God. But if Jesus is not the Son of God, then He could not have died for the sins of the human race, because a mere man cannot suffer for the sins of another man. Sin is infinitely outrageous and hateful in the sight of God; and must be punished to an infinite degree, because all humans are made in the image of God and can never die.

Whether we go to Heaven or to Hell, you and I will live eternally, because we were made in the image of God. God will live eternally, therefore we also will live eternally! Therefore, sin must be punished to an eternal degree to satisfy the eternal wrath of God; and no mere man can suffer to an eternal degree unless it is for his own sins in the Lake of Fire.

But because Jesus is the Son of God (God in the flesh), He was able to suffer to an infinite degree for the sins of the entire human race! If Jesus was not God in the flesh, then He could not die for our sins and pay the eternal penalty for our sins forever. Thank God that Jesus truly is the Son of God, who did that for us! Amen.

John 1:1-2, 14: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was the Word; the same Word was in the beginning with God... And the Word became flesh, and Tabernacled among us; and we beheld his glory: the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

I John 2:1-2: “My little children, I write these things to you, so that you sin not; but if any man sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. And he himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

2 Corinthians 5:18-19: “And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ; and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation: namely, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and has committed to us the Word of reconciliation.”

2 Corinthians 8:9: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you, through his poverty, might be rich.”

Isaiah 53:4-6: “Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

Roman Catholics also reject the Finished Work of Christ on the cross

Roman Catholics also reject the Finished Work of Christ on the cross, because they believe that the “Mass” cookie becomes the literal body of Christ when the Roman priest says, “Hoc est corpus” during the Mass, which they teach is an unbloody sacrifice of Jesus Christ:

“The Council of Trent taught that the Mass is the same as Calvary, “only the manner of offering being changed” from bloody to unbloody. Similarly Vatican II (On the Liturgy #10) said that the Mass is the renewal of the new covenant.” https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/teachings/sacrifice-of-the-mass-234

But the Bible is very clear that Christ died once for all time and can never die again, which the Catholic mass claims to recreate by the unbloody sacrifice of Jesus millions of times every day around the world:

Hebrews 7:23-25: “And truly, they were many priests, because they were not allowed to continue by reason of death; but this Jesus, because he continues into the Ages, has an unchangeable Priesthood; therefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he always lives to make intercession for them.

And his sacrifice on the cross will never be repeated in any manner whatsoever!

Hebrews 7:26-27: “For such a High Priest was fitting for us; who is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens; who does not need, as those Levite high priests, to offer up a bloody sacrifice daily (first for his own sins, and then for the people’s): for he already did this once for all time, when he offered up himself.”

So the Roman Catholic mass rejects the Bible and claims that we must eat the “Jesus cookie” daily to have our “venial” sins forgiven through the Mass. “Mortal sins” (as defined by the popes) must be forgiven only by the priest through confession and repentance.

Not only does the Bible not support the idea of a new sacrifice of Jesus in the Mass, but the Bible also makes no distinction between “venial” and “mortal” sins! All sin is sin!

Ezekiel 18:1: “The soul that practices sin, it shall die.”

The Bible is very clear that justification from sin is only possible if we believe in the Finished Work of Christ and the blood that He shed for our sins on the cross!

Anyone who rejects the Finished Work of Christ on the cross cannot be saved, and will certainly go to Hell when they die! What about YOU?.

HOW TO BE SAVED

Sinner friend! Is the Lord Jesus drawing you to come to Him? Do not resist his work in your heart! This means that you have hope, because if your heart is not troubled by your sins and you are perfectly happy to be a sinner apart from God, then you will certainly go to Hell; and later, the Lake of Fire!

There is no hope in the false god “Allah”, for he is the devil! He only wants your destruction!

There is no hope in the false gods of Hinduism or in Buddhism, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Roman Catholicism, Bahai, or Shintoism; and especially not in witchcraft or Satanism! These are all Satanic religions and will lead you into the Lake of Fire!

Yield yourself to the one true God Jehovah, and repent of your sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for your sins, and rose again from the dead on the third day! He is the Son of God. Amen.

Jesus Christ is the only Way to Heaven; any other way (Islam, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hinduism, Buddhism, Bahai etc) will lead you into Hell.

“Jesus says to him, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: NO MAN comes to the Father, but through me’” John 14:6.

You can be saved, right now, if you want to know that you have Eternal Life in Heaven waiting for you when you die! Use this prayer to repent and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to come into your life, right now!

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Por otro lado, si no creemos en la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz, entonces pereceremos eternamente en el Infierno, y más tarde, ¡en el Lago de Fuego! Esta verdad es la línea divisoria entre los creyentes en Cristo y los incrédulos. Por eso es muy importante saberlo y comprenderlo.

Los liberales rechazan la obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz

Los liberales atacan la Obra terminada de Cristo como una religión “sangrienta”, porque creen que pueden abrirse camino hasta el Cielo haciendo buenas obras. Están llenos de orgullo por sus propios logros; y creen que Dios sopesará sus buenas obras con sus malas acciones; y si sus buenas obras superan sus malas acciones, entonces Dios les dará la bienvenida al Cielo.

Para ellos, no importa que la Biblia no enseñe esta falsedad, porque no creen que la Biblia es la Palabra de Dios y la Autoridad Final para todos los asuntos de fe y práctica. La autoridad de sus creencias se basa en sus opiniones, no la Biblia.

Los hindúes y otras religiones falsas rechazan la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz

Los hindúes y otros politeístas adoran a dioses falsos por miles, incluso millones. No creen que Jesús sea diferente que sus propios dioses. Muchos nunca han leído la Biblia, por lo que no saben que Jesús es el único Dios verdadero y que sus propios dioses no son más que demonios.

Marcos 1:23-24: "Y había en la sinagoga de ellos un hombre con un espíritu inmundo, el cual dio voces, diciendo, “¡Déjanos! ¿Qué tenemos que ver contigo, Jesús nazareno? ¿Has venido para destruirnos? ¡Sé quién eres, el Santo de Dios!”.

Marcos 3:11: "Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo, “¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!”.

Marcos 5:6-7: "Y cuando vio a Jesús de lejos, corrió y le adoró. Y clamando a gran voz, dijo, “¿Qué tengo contigo, Jesús, Hijo del Dios Altísimo? Te conjuro por Dios que no me atormentes”.

1 Crónicas 16:25-26: "Porque grande es Jehová, y muy digno de alabanza; él también debe ser temido sobre todos los dioses: porque todos los dioses del pueblo son ídolos; pero Jehová hizo los cielos".

I Corintios 10:20: "Pero digo más bien que lo que los paganos sacrifican, lo sacrifican a los demonios, y no a Dios; y no quiero que seáis partícipes de los demonios".

Son esclavos de sus falsos dioses demoníacos. O ni saben que Jesús ha pagado el castigo por sus pecados o rechazan la Biblia por completo como Palabra de Dios, de manera similar a los musulmanes y los católicos romanos.

Irán al Infierno, y más tarde, al Lago de Fuego, a menos que se arrepientan de sus dioses falsos y se vuelvan al Señor Jesucristo y su Obra terminada en la cruz como su única esperanza de salvación. Que Dios abra los ojos y corazones de ellos para creer esta verdad:

Juan 14:6: "Jesús le dice: "Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí"".

Los musulmanes les rechazan la obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz

Asimismo, los musulmanes también rechazan la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz:

“El relato bíblico de la crucifixión, muerte y resurrección de Jesús (Īsā) registrado en el Nuevo Testamento cristiano es tradicionalmente rechazado por las principales ramas del Islam, pero, al igual que los cristianos, creen que Jesús ascendió al cielo y, según fuentes literarias e islámicas, regresará antes del fin de los tiempos. Pero Jesús no pudo haber sobrevivido a la crucifixión, ya que un soldado romano tomó su lanza y con ella atravesó el corazón de Jesús; ¡Y brotó sangre y agua! Esta es la prueba que Jesús realmente murió en la cruz ese día.

Juan 19:33-34: “Pero cuando llegaron a Jesús, como le vieron ya muerto, no le quebraron las piernas. Pero uno de los soldados le abrió el costado con una lanza, y al instante salió sangre y agua”.

Además, después de la resurrección de Jesús, el cuerpo de Jesús todavía tenía los agujeros de los clavos en las manos, y también en el costado de él donde el soldado le había traspasado hasta el corazón; y, sin embargo, estaba vivo y no sangró, ¡porque Jesús tenía un cuerpo resucitado y poderoso que ya no necesita sangre! Amén.

Juan 20:24-29: “Pero Tomás, uno de los doce, llamado Dídimo, no estaba con ellos cuando Jesús vino. Le dijeron, pues, los otros discípulos, “¡Hemos visto al Señor!”. Pero él les dijo, “A menos veré en las manos de él la señal de los clavos, y metiere mi dedo en el lugar de los clavos, y metiere mi mano en su costado, no creeré”. Y ocho días después, estaban otra vez sus discípulos dentro, y con ellos Tomás. Entonces vino Jesús, estando las puertas cerradas, y poniéndose en medio, dijo, “Paz a ustedes”. Entonces dijo a Tomás, “Extiende tu dedo, y mira mis manos; y extiende tu mano, y métela dentro mi costado; y no seas incrédulo, sino creyendo”. Y Tomás respondió, y le dijo, “¡Señor mío, y Dios mío!”. Jesús le dijo, “Tomás: porque me has visto, creíste; bienaventurados los que no vieron, y todavía ellos han creído”.

¡Ojalá los musulmanes simplemente creyeran en la Palabra de Dios, se arrepintieran de su incredulidad en Jesús como el Hijo de Dios y fueran salvados! Ellos han sido mentidos a acerca de Jesús, el Hijo resucitado de Dios! Amén.

La revelación 1:12-18: “Y me volví para ver la voz que hablaba conmigo. Y habiendo dado la vuelta, vi siete candeleros de oro; y en medio de los siete candeleros, a uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre, vestido de una ropa que llegaba hasta los pies, y ceñido por el pecho con un cinto de oro. Su cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como la lana, tan blancos como la nieve; y sus ojos eran como llama de fuego; y sus pies semejantes al latón fino, ardientes como en un horno; y su voz como el ruido de muchas aguas. Y tenía en su diestra siete estrellas; y de su boca salía una espada aguda de dos filos, y su rostro era como el sol cuando resplandece en su fuerza. Y cuando lo vi, caí a sus pies como muerto; y él puso su diestra sobre mí, diciéndome, “No temas; yo soy el Primero y el Último; y soy el que vive, y estuve muerto; y he aquí que vivo hasta las edades de las edades, amén. Y tengo las llaves del Infierno y de la muerte”.

Los musulmanes les rechazan la enseñanza de que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios

Además, los musulmanes rechazan la enseñanza de que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios. Pero si Jesús no es el Hijo de Dios, entonces no podría haber muerto por los pecados de la raza humana, porque un simple hombre no puede sufrir por los pecados de otro hombre. El pecado es infinitamente ultrajante y odioso a los ojos de Dios; y debe ser castigado hasta el infinito, porque todos los humanos están hechos a la imagen de Dios y nunca pueden morir.

Ya sea que vayamos al Cielo o al Infierno, tú y yo viviremos eternamente, porque fuimos hechos a imagen de Dios. ¡Dios vivirá eternamente, por lo tanto nosotros también viviremos eternamente! Por tanto, el pecado debe ser castigado en grado eterno; y ningún simple hombre puede sufrir en un grado eterno a menos que sea por sus propios pecados en el Lago de Fuego.

Debido a que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios (Dios encarnado), ¡pudo sufrir en un grado infinito por los pecados de toda la raza humana! Si Jesús no fuera Dios encarnado, entonces no podría morir por nuestros pecados y pagar la pena eterna por nuestros pecados para siempre. ¡Gracias a Dios que Jesús verdaderamente es el Hijo de Dios, que hizo eso por nosotros! Amén.

I Juan 2:1-2: “Hijitos míos, estas cosas os escribo, para que no pequéis; pero si alguno hubiere pecado, tenemos un abogado con el Padre, Jesús Cristo el justo. Y él mismo es la propiciación por nuestros pecados; y no sólo por los nuestros, sino también por los pecados de todo el mundo”.

2 Corintios 5:18-19: “Y todas las cosas son de Dios, quien nos reconcilió con sí mismo por medio de Jesucristo; y nos ha dado el ministerio de la reconciliación: a saber, que Dios estaba en Cristo, reconciliando al mundo consigo, no imputándoles sus transgresiones; y nos ha encomendado la Palabra de reconciliación”.

2 Corintios 8:9: “porque conocéis la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo, que aunque era rico, todavía, a causa de ustedes, él se volvió pobre, que ustedes, a través de la pobreza de él, podría ser rico”.

Isaías 53:4-6: “Ciertamente llevó él nuestras enfermedades, y sufrió nuestros dolores; sin embargo, le considerábamos como castigado, herido por Dios y afligido. Pero él fue herido por nuestras transgresiones, él estuvo magullado por nuestras iniquidades; el castigo de nuestra paz estaba sobre él, y con las rayas de él, somos sanados. Todos nosotros, gustan las ovejas, ha ido por mal camino; hemos dado vuelta cada uno a su propio camino; y Jehová ha puesto sobre él la iniquidad de todos nosotros”.

Los católicos romanos les rechazan la obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz

Los católicos romanos también rechazan la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz, porque creen que la galleta de la “Misa” se convierte en el cuerpo literal de Cristo cuando el sacerdote romano dice, “Hoc est corpus” durante la Misa, que enseñan es un sacrificio incruento de Jesucristo:

“El Concilio de Trento enseñó que la Misa es lo mismo que el Calvario, “sólo se cambia la manera de ofrecer” Desde sangriento a sin sangre. Pero la Biblia es muy clara en que Cristo murió una vez para siempre y nunca más puede morir, que la misa católica afirma recrear mediante el sacrificio sin sangre de Jesús millones de veces cada día en todo el mundo:

Hebreos 7:23-25: “Y verdaderamente, ellos eran muchos sacerdotes, porque no se les permitió continuar por causa de la muerte; pero este Jesús, porque continúa hasta las edades, tiene un sacerdocio inmutable; por lo tanto, él también puede salvarlos hasta el máximo los que vienen a Dios a través de él, al ver que siempre vive para hacer intercesión por ellos.

¡Y su sacrificio en la cruz nunca se repetirá de ninguna manera!

Hebreos 7:26-27: “Porque tal Sumo Sacerdote era apropiado para nosotros; quien es santo, inocente, sin mancha, apartado de los pecadores, y habiendo llegado a ser más alto que los cielos; quien no tiene necesidad, como aquellos sumos sacerdotes levitas, de ofrecer cada día un sacrificio de sangre (primero por los pecados de él, y luego por los del pueblo): porque el ya hizo esto, una vez para todo el tiempo, cuando se ofreció a sí mismo”.

Entonces la misa católica romana rechaza la Biblia y afirma que debemos comer la “galleta de Jesús” diariamente para que nuestros pecados “veniales” sean perdonados a través de la Misa. Los “pecados mortales” (como los definen los papas) deben ser perdonados únicamente por el sacerdote mediante la confesión y el arrepentimiento.

La Biblia no solo no apoya la idea de un nuevo sacrificio de Jesús en la Misa, ¡pero la Biblia tampoco hace distinción entre pecados “veniales” y “mortales”! ¡Todo pecado es pecado!

Ezequiel 18:1: “El alma que practica el pecado, morirá”.

¡La Biblia es muy clara en que la justificación del pecado sólo es posible si creemos en la Obra terminada de Cristo y la sangre que Él derramó por nuestros pecados en la cruz!

¡Cualquiera que rechace la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz no puede ser salvado y ciertamente irá al Infierno cuando muera! ¿Y TÚ?.

En la segunda parte de este estudio la semana que viene, examinaremos brevemente las doctrinas de salvación que fluyen de este texto.

Como ser salvado

¡Amigo pecador! ¿El Señor Jesús te está atrayendo a venir a Él? ¡No resistas su obra en tu corazón! Esto significa que tienes esperanza, porque si tu corazón no eres turbado por tus pecados y estás perfectamente feliz de ser pecador apartado de Dios, entonces ciertamente irás al Infierno; y más tarde, ¡el Lago de Fuego!

¡No hay esperanza en el dios falso “Alá”, porque él es el diablo! ¡Él sólo quiere tu destrucción!

¡Entrégate al único Dios verdadero Jehová, y arrepiéntete de tus pecados y vuélvete al Señor Jesucristo, quien murió en la cruz por tus pecados y resucitó de nuevo de entre los muertos al tercer día!

Jesucristo es el único Camino al Cielo; Cualquier otro camino (islam, mormonismo, testigos de Jehová, hinduismo, budismo, bahá’í, etc) te llevará al Infierno.

Juan 14:6 “Jesús le dice: Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí”.

¡Puedes ser salvado ahora mismo si quieres saber que tienes Vida Eterna en el Cielo, esperándote cuando mueras! Utilice esta oración para arrepentirse y pedirle a Jesús que perdone sus pecados y que entre en su vida, ¡ahora mismo!

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra USTED. ¡No soy bueno y usted eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
