Romans, Chapter 2.1: Both Jews and Gentiles have rejected the one true God and will be judged by the Old Covenant Law of Moses (1:1 - 2:16)
§Unique Introduction: The exalted positions of the Apostle Paul and of the saints in Rome (1:1 - 7)
¶Opposite Paul was a servant of Jesus Christ and was called his Apostle (1:1 - 4)
¶Opposite The believers in Rome were beloved of God and were called his saints (1:5 - 7)

Comments: Now, my friends, we continue our study with the fifth paragraph of the Body section.
¶Unique The hypocrite cannot escape the righteous Judgment of God (2:1 - 4)
Opposite Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judges: for when you judge another, you condemn yourself: for
you that judge do the same things.
Opposite But we are sure that the Judgment of God is according to truth against them which do such things.
Complement And do you think this, O man who judges them which do such things but do the same, that you shall escape the Judgment
of God?
Complement Or do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering:
Unique not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
Comments: This study will briefly review the previous studies and focus on Romans 2:1-4.
I have updated the themes for the last paragraph in the Body section, and the theme of the Conclusion section to make them more accurate.
The Golden Ratio outline of this Chapter (and all others in the Bible) is extremely valuable, because it provides wonderful insight into what God is saying to us through his Word! The
context is very important, because you cannot understand any text in the Bible until you understand the context first. And the Golden Ratio design of the Bible is the only outline that can do that accurately
and faithfully.
Recall in the previous study on the third paragraph:
¶Complement Sinners have suppressed the truth of the one true God Jehovah which is revealed in nature (1:18 - 23)
This paragraph was about the sin of unthankfulness, which led to the sins of pride and apostasy from the one true God, which led to the worship of idols rather than the invisible God.
The descendants of Noah and his three sons became proud and imagined themselves to be wise; but they became fools, because they turned away from the one invisible true God to a multitude of idols.
The worship of idols was started by the wicked Semiramis, the queen of Babylon (who became known as Diana/Astarte/Ashtoreth/Isis and many other pagan goddesses) and her vile son-husband
Nimrod (who became known as Tammuz/Baal/Rah and many other pagan gods). These two became known as the Mother and Son deities in many nations, and they can still be found all over the world.

Exodus 20:1-6: "And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery: you shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make you any carved image, nor any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them: for I, Jehovah your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children until the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and showing mercy to thousands of them that love me, and keep my Commandments."

The worship of idols required these people to suppress the truth of the one true God, whom they knew from their fathers; but whom they rejected.
¶Complement Because of their rejection of Him, God gave sinners up to the evil passions of their flesh (1:24 - 32)
This paragraph was about the sins of fornication and homosexuality, which happened as a result of their worship of idols.
The Roman Catholic religion worships the idols of Mary and the saints; and it is full of both of these sins, especially the molesting of children, and homosexuality by the rape of young
boys by the priests.

The wicked worship of idols by Roman Catholics has led directly to the many hideous crimes against children that have been discovered and prosecuted in many countries in recent years.
These crimes have been going on for many centuries, but not prosecuted until now, because the Roman religion is powerful in many countries; and often they cannot be prosecuted, because
the police and politicians are mostly or all Roman Catholic; or because the Roman religion is very wealthy, and they can pay off anyone to keep their crimes from being punished by the law.
But God will bring all of these sins to light at his Great White Throne Judgment!
Matthew 12:36-37: “But I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment: for by your words you shall be justified, and by
your words you shall be condemned.”
Revelation 17:3-5: “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness; and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored Beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten
horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls; having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.
And upon her forehead was a name written: “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
Revelation 17:15-18: “And he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and languages. And the ten horns that you saw upon
the Beast, these shall hate the whore, and they shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire: for God has put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree; and
give their kingdom to the Beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman that you saw is that great city of Rome, which reigns over the kings of the earth.” PICTURE OF WOMAN RIDING BEAST
But sexual sins are not only committed by idol worshipers, but atheists, agnostics, and general unbelievers as well.
But the religious, and even some who claim to be born-again Christians can fall into this sin also. How does this happen? When Christians fall away from the Lord and fail to continue in
obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, then any sin is possible, without exception!
Look at king David, the king of Israel in 2 Samuel 11:1-14:33 (Chapter 2.2 in Samuel according to the Golden Ratio design of the Bible). He committed adultery with the wife of one of his
most loyal soldiers, Uriah the Hittite, while he was away from home; and she became pregnant. When he could not get Uriah to sleep with his wife to cover up the pregnancy, he sent a letter with Uriah
to his general Joab; and he ordered him to place Uriah in a very dangerous place so that the enemy would kill him; and Uriah was killed. Then David took the wife of Uriah as his wife.
This David was the author of many psalms in the Bible! He was known far and wide as one of the most righteous, prayerful, and obedient men of God who had ever lived in Israel.
So how did David begin his fall to become an adulterer and a murderer? He became proud! God had promised him that one of his descendants would be the Messiah (2 Samuel 7:8-16); and that
his throne would endure forever.
2 Samuel 7:16: “And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you: your throne shall be established forever.”
I believe that David became filled with pride, thinking something like this:
“God has chosen my sons to bring forth the Messiah! That means that God now needs ME, or his Word will not be fulfilled. I am important! God cannot touch me or his Word will fail. I can
do anything and get away with it!” Do you see how that happened?
I believe that many pastors fall into this same sin: especially pastors with large churches: “Look at all these people who look up to me! I’m important! If I’m not here, then my church
will fail; so God cannot do anything to me or his work will fail!” And then Satan presents these pastors with some young beautiful woman and an opportunity to sin; and they do.
Proverbs 16:18: “Pride goes before destruction; and an arrogant attitude before a fall”!!
God will let your church fail, before He will allow you to believe that He doesn’t care about sin! The truth of God and his Word are more important than any pastor or any church! Amen.
Yes, David was important to God; but that just meant that his judgment on David was that much more severe! The child that was conceived in adultery died of sickness. One of the other sons
of David committed incest with his half-sister Tamar, which led to her brother Absolam killing him. Absolam went into exile for two years. On his return, he rebelled against David and tried to kill him!
But God delivered David and restored him to his kingdom.
Yes, David kept his kingdom in spite of all that had happened; however, he lost three sons and experienced many years of grief and sadness and loss as a result of his sins.
The point is that God judges sins! Especially the sins of Christians! As his children, we have a much greater responsibility to live the Christian life in truth before others and in private;
if not, then God will bring his chastisement into our lives.
¶Unique The hypocrite cannot escape the righteous Judgment of God (2:1 - 4)
“Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judges: for when you judge another, you condemn yourself: for you that judge do the same things. But we are sure that the
Judgment of God is according to truth against them which do such things. And do you think this, O man who judges them which do such things but do the same, that you shall escape the Judgment of God? Or
do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering: not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”
This paragraph is about the religious hypocrite, who condemns those who commit these sins, but does the same thing. A man or woman like this is often very religious (but probably not saved);
they have religion, but they don’t have Jesus Christ as their Savior! Amen.
They look down on “sinners”; but at the same time, they watch filthy pornography on the internet! Or they enjoy watching dirty movies on TV, or they enjoy the ungodly situation comedies
on television, where the Bible and Christianity are mocked, and Christian people are ridiculed! They laugh at the wickedness of the wicked, instead of being grieved in their souls over the sins of the
people.
Proverbs 14:9: “Fools laugh at sin; but among the righteous, there is favor from God.”
2 Peter 2:7-8: “and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day
to day with their unlawful deeds)”
But the religious hypocrite will not escape the Judgment of God! They claim to be better than the homosexuals, the perverts, and the idolaters; but they will end up alongside them in the
same Hell, if they do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Yes, real Christians can become religious hypocrites too. May God help us all to never become proud, and imagine falsely (like king David) that God will not punish us for the same sins
that the Lost commit.
Hebrews 12:5-8: “And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to children, “My son, despise not the discipline of [Jehovah], nor faint when you are rebuked by him: for
whom [Jehovah] loves he disciplines, and scourges every son whom he receives.” If you endure discipline, God deals with you as with sons: for what son is he whom the father does not discipline? But if
you are without discipline, whereof all are partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not truly sons of God.”
I know about religious hypocrites. In the 80s, I lived and worked on a US Navy ship with about 500 other men. Most people that I knew drank liquor, took drugs, smoked cigarettes, cursed,
told lies, listened to Satan’s music, etc tec.
But after I repented of my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior in 1982, I would ask people, “Are you a Christian?” And almost everyone told me that they were a Christian! Haha!
They would say “I accepted Jesus as a child”, “I accepted Jesus at a summer camp”, things like that.
But if you looked at their life, they looked just like the sinners! We lived very closely together, because our ship was only about 500 feet long, and there were about 500 of us; so you
can understand that we saw each other a lot; and especially the guys in our crew complex (there were about 40 of us in that small area), we knew just about everything about each other.
So if you were a Christian, you had to really live the truth, or your testimony for Christ was destroyed. There was almost no privacy.
I knew another particularly bad hypocrite who went to my church. He was married to a Christian girl; but he himself was the worst sort of hypocrite! He smoked, he cursed, he listened to
the devil’s music etc. But he went to his wife’s church, probably because he loved his wife; but he couldn’t care less about the Bible. He would sit with the sinners and smoke his cigarettes; and they
would mock him as a hypocrite; but he would just smile and laugh. Let me tell you: they despised him! But they wouldn’t say that to his face.
Then there was the ship’s Chaplain, who was a Roman Catholic priest. The Captain of the ship was also a Catholic. They would go on shore leave together, and return to the ship wildly drunk!
And I would hear other sailors saying about the Chaplain, “What a hypocrite!” “He’s supposed to be a man of God; but look at him!” “Hahahaha!”. How shameful and sad! I was not a Christian at the time,
but I remember it well.
The worst part about hypocrisy: it gives false comfort to the sinners! They think, “Here is a Christian who does the same things that I do; why should I get saved? I’m better than him!”
So then they never trust in Christ and they go to Hell when they die! All because a hypocrite failed to live his profession of faith in Christ before them. THE HYPOCRITE MAKES SINNERS
FEEL COMFORTABLE WHILE THEY ARE GOING TO HELL!
Hypocrisy is poison to the Christian faith! We have to live our faith before others, and also in private! The Apostle Paul wrote this:
Philippians 1:9-11: “And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment; that you may approve things that are excellent; and that you may
be SINCERE and without offense until the Day of Christ: being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.”
The word in the Greek translated as “sincere” is ειλικρινεις, which means “judged by sunlight, unalloyed” or “without wax”. The word meaning comes from a time when jars were made of clay;
but sometimes, if the jar had damage, the maker would fill in the damage with wax and then paint it over or cover it up somehow. So when they were selling these jars in the market, the buyer would hold
up the jar to the sunlight to see if the clay jar was pure clay or not; and the sunlight would reveal the wax if it existed.
In the Bible, the wax is a symbol of sin in our life! We can understand the “sunlight” as the truth of the Word of God! If we claim to be a Christian, but we have sin in our lives (sometimes
hidden, like pornography) that is unconfessed and not repented of permanently, then we are a hypocrite!
Let’s be real: everyone sins; however, a born again Christian has the answer for all sins! The Lord Jesus Christ is in our heart and in our life; and the Holy Spirit is there to give us
the power to live for God every day, IF we surrender our life to the Lord and let Him have his way in our life, amen?
The sinner does not repent and continues on his sinful way toward Hell; but a true born again Christian falls; but repents and gets back up again to run; falls, but repents and gets back
up again to run. And with experience and spiritual maturity, the falling becomes less and and the running becomes longer and stronger! Amen.
Keep serving the Lord and following Him! If you fall, repent and get back up again and keep running the race for God! Keep studying the Bible, attend church regularly, and tell others
about Christ in sincerity and truth! Praise the Lord! Amen.
If you have not been born again, then repent now! Or your destiny will be Hell; and later, the Lake of Fire after the Great White Throne Judgment.
Everything that the Bible has said has already come true or will shortly come to pass! You will have only yourself to blame if you find yourself in Hell after you die. You have been warned!
The Quran (17:111) says that allah has no son. The Bible agrees, because the one true God of the Bible has a Son, and his Name is the Lord Jesus Christ! Therefore, “allah” is not God!
The same is true for all of the false gods; anyone who follows them will perish in Hell without hope forever.
Isaiah 43:11-12: “I, even I, am Jehovah; and there is no Savior other than me. I have declared the future, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you; therefore
you are my witnesses,’ says Jehovah, ‘that I am the true God.”
Even the devils know that Jehovah Elohim has a Son, and they recognized Him in Jesus Christ:
Mark 3:11: “And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him; and they cried, saying, “You are the Son of God!”
I John 2:22-23: “Who is the liar, if not he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist: the one who denies the equality of the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son,
does not have the Father; but he that confesses the Son has the Father also.”
The only hope for Eternal Life and peace with God is in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for you and rose again from the dead on the third day.
Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: NO MAN comes to the Father, but through me” John 14:6.
Here is how you can be saved, IF YOU BELIEVE everything that I just explained. Pray this prayer with all of your heart to receive Christ as your Savior:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were
buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul.
In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Comentarios: Este estudio revisará brevemente los estudios previos y se enfocará en Romanos 2:1-4.

Júpiter, Saturno, Lupercus, Marduk, Nebo, Cronos, Odín , Wodan, Osiris, Tammuz, El-Bar, Molech, Baal, Bel o Belus (que significa Señor), Atlas, San Valentín, Dagon el dios pez.
La adoración de ídolos requería que estas personas suprimieran la verdad del único Dios verdadero, a quien conocían de sus padres; pero a quien rechazaron.

Este párrafo trataba sobre los pecados de fornicación y homosexualidad, que ocurrieron como resultado de la adoración de ídolos.
La religión católica romana adora los ídolos de María y los santos; y está lleno de estos dos pecados, especialmente el abuso de niños y la homosexualidad por la violación de niños pequeños
por parte de los sacerdotes.

La adoración perversa de los ídolos por parte de los católicos romanos ha llevado directamente a muchos crímenes horribles contra los niños que han sido descubiertos y procesados en muchos
países en los últimos años.
Estos crímenes se llevan sucediendo desde hace muchos siglos, pero no procesados hasta ahora, porque la religión romana es poderosa en muchos países; ya menudo ni pueden ser procesados,
porque la policía y los políticos son en su mayoría o todos católicos romanos; o porque la religión romana es muy rica, y pueden sobornar a cualquiera para que sus delitos no sean castigados por la ley.
¡Pero Dios traerá todos estos pecados a la luz en su Juicio del Gran Trono Blanco!
Mateo 12:36-37: “Pero yo les digo, que toda palabra ociosa que los hombres hablarán, ellos darán una cuenta de ello en el Día del Juicio: porque por tus palabras serás justificada, y
por tus palabras serás condenada”.
La revelación 17:3-5: “Así me llevó en el Espíritu al desierto; y vi a una mujer sentada sobre una Bestia escarlata llena de nombres de blasfemia y que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos.
Y la mujer estaba vestida de púrpura y de escarlata, y adornada con oro, piedras preciosas y perlas, y tenía en su mano un cáliz de oro lleno de abominaciones y de la suciedad de su fornicación. Y en
su frente un nombre escrito, “MISTERIO, BABILONIA LA GRANDE, LA MADRE DE LAS RAMERAS Y DE LAS ABOMINACIONES DE LA TIERRA”.
La revelación 17:15-18: “Y me dijo, “Las aguas que tú viste, donde se sienta la ramera, son pueblos y multitudes y naciones y lenguas. Y los diez cuernos que tú viste sobre la Bestia,
éstos aborrecerán a la ramera, y la harán desolada y desnuda; y comerán sus carnes, y la quemarán con fuego: porque Dios ha puesto en sus corazones ejecutar su voluntad, y ponerse de acuerdo, y dar su

Pero los pecados sexuales no solo los cometen los idólatras, sino también los ateos, los agnósticos y los incrédulos en general.
Pero los religiosos, e incluso algunos que dicen ser cristianos renacidos, también pueden caer en este pecado. ¿Cómo sucede esto? Cuando los cristianos se alejan del Señor y no continúan
en la obediencia al Espíritu Santo y la Palabra de Dios, ¡entonces cualquier pecado es posible, sin excepción!
Mira a David, el rey de Israel en 2 Samuel 11:1-14:33 (Capítulo 2.2 en Samuel según el diseño de la Biblia de la Proporción Áurea). Cometió adulterio con la esposa de uno de sus soldados
más leales, Urías el hitita, mientras estaba fuera de casa; y ella quedó embarazada. Cuando no pudo lograr que Urías se acostara con su esposa para encubrir el embarazo, envió una carta con Urías a su
general Joab; y le mandó poner a Urías en lugar muy peligroso para que lo matara el enemigo; y Urías fue asesinado. Entonces David tomó por mujer a la mujer de Urías.
¡Este David fue el autor de muchos salmos en la Biblia! Era conocido por todas partes como uno de los hombres de Dios más justos, piadosos y obedientes que jamás había vivido en Israel.
Entonces, ¿cómo comenzó David su caída para convertirse en adúltero y asesino? ¡Se volvió orgulloso! Dios le había prometido que uno de sus descendientes sería el Mesías (2 Samuel 7:8-16);
y que su trono duraría para siempre.
2 Samuel 7:16: “Y tu casa y tu reino serán establecidos para siempre delante de ti: tu trono será establecido para siempre”.
Creo que David se llenó de orgullo, pensando algo así:
“¡Dios ha escogido a mis hijos para dar a luz al Mesías! Eso significa que Dios ahora ME necesita, o su Palabra no se cumplirá. ¡Soy importante! Dios no puede tocarme o su Palabra fallará.
¡Puedo hacer cualquier cosa y salirme con la mía!”. ¿Ves cómo sucedió eso?
Creo que muchos pastores caen en este mismo pecado: especialmente los pastores con iglesias grandes: “¡Mira toda esta gente que me admira! ¡Soy importante! Si no estoy aquí, mi iglesia
fracasará; ¡Entonces Dios ni puede hacerme nada o su obra fracasará!” Y luego Satanás les presenta a estos pastores una mujer joven y hermosa y una oportunidad para pecar; y lo hacen.
Proverbios 16:18: ¡¡“El orgullo va antes de la destrucción; y una actitud arrogante ante una caída”!!.
¡Dios permitirá que tu iglesia fracase, antes de permitirte creer que a Él no le importa el pecado! ¡La verdad de Dios y su Palabra son más importantes que cualquier pastor o cualquier
iglesia! Amén.
Sí, David era importante para Dios; ¡pero eso solo significaba que su juicio sobre David era mucho más severo! El niño que fue concebido en adulterio murió de la enfermedad desde Dios.
Uno de los otros hijos de David cometió incesto con su media hermana Tamar, lo que llevó a su hermano Absolam a matarle. Absolam se exilió durante dos años. ¡A su regreso, se rebeló contra David y trató
de matarlo! Pero Dios libró a David y le restauró a su reino.
Sí, David mantuvo su reino a pesar de todo lo que había sucedido; sin embargo, perdió a tres hijos y experimentó muchos años de dolor, tristeza y pérdida como resultado de sus pecados.
¡El punto es que Dios juzga los pecados! ¡Especialmente los pecados de los cristianos! Como hijos suyos, tenemos una responsabilidad mucho mayor de vivir la vida cristiana en la verdad
ante los demás y en privado; si no, entonces Dios traerá su castigo a nuestras vidas.
¶Único El hipócrita no puede escapar del justo juicio de Dios (2:1 - 4)
“Por lo tanto, eres inexcusable, oh hombre, quienquiera tú seas que juzga: porque cuando juzgas a otro, tú condenas a ti mismo: para ti ese juez haz las mismas cosas. Pero estamos seguros
de que el Juicio de Dios es según verdad contra los que hacen tales cosas. ¿Y tú piensas esto, oh hombre, quien juzgas a los que hacen tales cosas pero hacen lo mismo, que tú escaparás del juicio de Dios?
¿O menospreciáis las riquezas de su bondad, paciencia y longanimidad: no sabiendo que la bondad de Dios te guía al arrepentimiento?”.
Este párrafo trata sobre la hipócrita religioso, que condena a los que cometen estos pecados, pero hace lo mismo. Un hombre o una mujer así suele ser muy religioso (pero probablemente
no sea salvado); tienen religión, ¡pero no tienen a Jesucristo como su Salvador! Amén.
Desprecian a los “pecadores”; ¡pero al mismo tiempo, ellos miran pornografía sucia en internet! O disfrutan viendo películas sucias en la televisión, o disfrutan de las comedias de situaciones
impías en la televisión, donde se burlan de la Biblia y el cristianismo, ¡y se ridiculiza a los cristianos! Se ríen de la maldad de los impíos, en lugar de ser entristecido en sus almas por los pecados
del pueblo.
Proverbios 14:9: “Los necios se ríen del pecado; pero entre los justos hay favor desde Dios.”
2 Pedro 2:7-8: “y libró al justo Lot, turbado por la inmunda conducta de los impíos (porque aquel justo que habitaba entre ellos, viendo y oyendo, afligía su alma justa de día en día
con las iniquidades de ellos)”
¡Pero la hipócrita religioso no escapará del Juicio de Dios! Dicen ser mejores que los homosexuales, los pervertidos y los idólatras; pero ellos terminarán junto a ellos en el mismo infierno,
si no conocen al Señor Jesucristo como su Salvador personal.
Sí, los verdaderos cristianos también pueden convertirse en hipócritas religiosos. Que Dios nos ayude a todos a nunca volvernos orgullosos e imaginar falsamente (como el rey David) que
Dios no nos castigará por los mismos pecados que cometen los Perdidos.
Hebreos 12:5-8: “Y ustedes ha olvidado la exhortación que habla a ustedes como a niños: “Hijo mío, no desprecies la disciplina de [Jehová], ni desmayes cuando seas reprendido por él:
porque quien [Jehová] ama, él disciplina; y él azota a todo hijo que recibe”. Si soportáis el castigo, Dios os trata como con hijos: porque ¿qué hijo es aquel a quien el padre no castiga? Pero si seáis
sin el castigo, del cual todos son hechos partícipes, entonces ustedes son ilegítimos, y no sois verdaderamente hijos de Dios”.
Sé saber de las hipócritas religiosos. En los años 80, viví y trabajé en un barco de la Armada de los Estados Unidos con otros 500 hombres. La mayoría de las personas que conocía bebían
licor, se drogaban, fumaban cigarrillos, maldecían, decían mentiras, escuchaban la música de Satanás, etc.
Pero después de arrepentirme de mis pecados y aceptar a Jesucristo como mi Salvador en 1982, le preguntaba a la gente: “¿Eres cristiano?”. ¡Y casi todos me dijeron que eran cristianos!
¡Ja ja!
Decían “Acepté a Jesús de niño”, “Acepté a Jesús en un campamento de verano”, cosas así.
Pero si mirabas su vida, ¡lucían como los pecadores! Vivíamos muy juntos, porque nuestro barco tenía solo unos 500 pies de largo y había alrededor de 500 de nosotros; para que entiendas
que nos veíamos mucho; y especialmente los muchachos en nuestro complejo de tripulación (éramos alrededor de 40 en esa pequeña área), sabíamos casi todo sobre los demás.
Entonces, si tú fueras cristiano, tenías que vivir realmente la verdad, o tu testimonio de Cristo sería destruido. Casi no había privacidad.
Conocí a otro hipócrita particularmente malo que fue a mi iglesia. Estaba casado con una muchacha cristiana; ¡pero él mismo era el peor tipo de hipócrita! Fumaba, maldecía, escuchaba la
música del diablo, etc. Pero iba a la iglesia de su esposa, probablemente porque amaba a su esposa; pero no podría importarle menos la Biblia. Se sentaba con los pecadores y fumaba sus cigarrillos; y
se burlarían de él como un hipócrita; pero él solo sonreía y se reía. Déjame decirte: ¡lo despreciaron! Pero no le dirían eso a la cara.
Luego estaba el capellán del barco, que era un sacerdote católico romano. El capitán del barco también era católico. ¡Irían juntos de permiso a tierra y regresarían al barco completamente
borrachos! Y oía a otros marineros decir del capellán: “¡Qué hipócrita!”. “Se supone que es un hombre de Dios; ¡pero mírale! “¡Jajajaja!”. ¡Qué vergonzoso y triste! Yo no era cristiano en ese momento,
pero lo recuerdo bien.
Lo peor de la hipocresía: ¡da un falso consuelo a los pecadores! Piensan: “Aquí hay un cristiano que hace las mismas cosas que yo hago; ¿Por qué debo ser salvado? ¡Soy mejor que él!”
¡Entonces nunca confían en Cristo y van al Infierno cuando mueren! Todo porque un hipócrita no vivió ante ellos su profesión de fe en Cristo. ¡EL HIPÓCRITA HACE SENTIR CÓMODOS A LOS PECADORES
MIENTRAS ELLOS VAN AL INFIERNO!
¡La hipocresía es veneno para la fe cristiana! ¡Tenemos que vivir nuestra fe ante los demás, y también en privado! El apóstol Pablo escribió esto:
Filipenses 1:9-11: “Y esto ruego, que vuestro amor abunde aún cada vez más en conocimiento y en todo discernimiento; que ustedes pueden aprobar las cosas que son excelentes, y que seáis
sinceros y sin ofensa hasta el día de Cristo; siendo llenos de los frutos de justicia, que son por medio de Jesucristo, para gloria y alabanza de Dios”.
La palabra en griego traducida como “sinceros” es ειλικρινεις, que significa “juzgado por la luz del sol, sin alear” o “sin cera”. El significado de la palabra proviene de una época en
que se hacían tinajas de barro; pero a veces, si el frasco estaba dañado, el fabricante rellenaba el daño con cera y luego lo pintaba o encubrirlo de alguna manera. Así que cuando vendían estas vasijas
en el mercado, el comprador levantaba la vasija a la luz del sol para ver si la vasija de barro era arcilla pura o no; y la luz del sol revelaría la cera si existiera.
¡En la Biblia, la cera es un símbolo del pecado en nuestra vida! ¡Podemos entender la “luz del sol” como la verdad de la Palabra de Dios! Si afirmamos ser cristianos, pero tenemos pecados
en nuestras vidas (a veces ocultos, como la pornografía) que no confesamos y nosotros no nos hemos arrepentido de ese pecado permanentemente, ¡entonces somos hipócritas!
Seamos realistas: todos pecan; sin embargo, ¡un cristiano nacido de nuevo tiene la respuesta para todos los pecados! El Señor Jesucristo está en nuestro corazón y en nuestra vida; y el
Espíritu Santo está ahí para darnos el poder de vivir para Dios todos los días, SI rendimos nuestra vida al Señor y le permitimos hacer su voluntad en nuestra vida, ¿amén?
El pecador no se arrepiente y continúa sobre su camino pecaminoso hacia el Infierno; pero un verdadero cristiano nacido de nuevo cae; pero se arrepiente y vuelve a levantarse para correr;
cae, pero se arrepiente y vuelve a levantarse para correr. ¡Y con la experiencia y la madurez espiritual, la caída se vuelve menor y el correr se vuelve más larga y más fuerte! Amén.
¡Sigan sirviendo al Señor y siguiéndolo! ¡Si caes, arrepiéntete y levántate de nuevo y sigue corriendo la carrera por Dios! ¡Siga estudiando la Biblia, asiste a la iglesia con regularidad
y habla a otros acerca de Cristo con sinceridad y verdad! ¡Alabado sea el Señor! Amén.
¡Si no has nacido de nuevo, entonces arrepiéntete ahora! O vuestro destino será el Infierno; y más tarde, el Lago de Fuego después del Juicio del Gran Trono Blanco.
¡Todo lo que dice la Biblia ya se ha cumplido o se cumplirá en breve! Solo tendrás que culparte a ti mismo si te encuentras en el Infierno después de morir. ¡Tú has sido advertido!
El Corán (17:111) dice que Alá no tiene hijos. ¡La Biblia está de acuerdo, porque el único Dios verdadero de la Biblia tiene un Hijo, y su Nombre es el Señor Jesucristo! ¡Por lo tanto,
“Allah” no es Dios! Lo mismo es cierto para todos los dioses falsos; cualquiera que los siga perecerá en el Infierno sin esperanza para siempre.
Isaías 43:11-12: “Yo, incluso yo, soy Jehová; y no hay otro Salvador que yo. He declarado el futuro, y he salvado, y he mostrado, cuando no había dios extraño entre ustedes; por lo tanto,
ustedes son mis testigos,’ dice Jehová, ‘de que yo soy el Dios verdadero’”.
Hasta los demonios saben que Jehová Elohim tiene un Hijo, y lo reconocieron en Jesucristo:
Marcos 3:11: “Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo, “¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!”
I Juan 2:22-23: “¿Quién es el mentiroso, si no él que niegue que Jesús es el Cristo? Éste es Anticristo, el que niega la igualdad del Padre y del Hijo. Cualquiera que niega al Hijo, él
no tiene al Padre; sino él que confiesa al Hijo también tiene al Padre”.
La única esperanza de Vida eterna y paz con Dios está en el Señor Jesucristo, que murió por vosotros y resucitó de entre los muertos al tercer día.
Juan 14:6 “Jesús le dice: Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí”.
Así es como puede ser salvado, SI TÚ CREE todo lo que acabo de explicar. Haz esta oración con todo tu corazón para recibir a Cristo como tu Salvador:
“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra TI. ¡No soy bueno y tú eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día.
Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
