Preface: The Letter to the Hebrews was written to the Jews of the first century who had been saved under the Old Covenant using the system of animal sacrifices in the Temple of Herod and the priesthood of Aaron and his sons.

But now that Christ had already atoned for the sins of the world on the cross of Calvary in 33 A.D., those Jews needed to move from the Old Covenant of repeated animal sacrifices to the New Covenant of Christ, which was based only on his sacrifice on the cross, which was finished and completed, once for all time: never to be repeated. This is a very important point, from which I will make applications in this study.

This process of moving from the Old to the New Covenant was one of completion for these Jews. They were already the children of God by faith! But they were incomplete in their faith without Christ as the center of their faith: it was time for them to grow up and embrace Christ, or be judged by Jehovah for their disobedience.

This letter was not written for anyone outside of this group of people; either they became followers of Christ (we know that some of them did), or they continued under the Old Covenant and were punished with death in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D.

We can apply many spiritual lessons for Christians today; but the interpretation of this letter belongs only to the Jews of the first century. Any other interpretation will lead you into doctrinal errors.

It’s hard to believe, but we have studied almost the entire letter to the Hebrews! Praise the Lord!

Have you ever seen a series of Bible studies like this that provides such a comprehensive and detailed analysis of any document in the Bible, yet understandable? The only way that this is possible is because of the Golden Ratio design of the Bible! It is the key to understanding the Bible in all of its ways, because God did it! Amen.

You may have heard the saying, “There is no substitute for the right tools for the job.” Well, that is also true for reading and understanding the Bible. Without the Golden Ratio design of the Bible to guide your understanding of the Scriptures, you will only struggle in your Bible study, because you cannot see the larger picture of whatever part of the Bible that you are studying, which provides the context; and without the context, even if you have advanced degrees of education, you will be reduced to stringing together pieces of Bible text!

That is the way that I learned the Scriptures in Bible college and seminary: stringing together texts from different parts of the Bible to support Bible doctrines. But guess what, the cults also do that! They are experts at stringing together pieces of the Bible to create their dangerous false doctrines.

Without the Golden Ratio design to help refute their false teachings, it is a contest of who can string together texts from the Bible better and more convincingly than the other; and the cults often win, because most people do not have advanced degrees from colleges or seminaries that believe the Bible as the Final Word of God. And that is a tragedy! Amen.

In this study, we will cover the Introduction section to Chapter 1.5; but first, let’s briefly survey the entire Letter to the Hebrews in the context of Book 5.1.

Book 5.1 (Hebrews & Romans): The Way into a New Covenant Relationship with Jehovah God

Complement Part 1 (Hebrews): For believing Jews under the Old Covenant during the first century (1:1 - 13:25)

Opposite Chapter 1.2: God the Son returned into Heaven to be our Great High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek (4:14 - 7:28)

Complement Chapter 1.3: Look back to the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for your spiritual completion (8:1 - 10:31)

Complement Chapter 1.4: The Old Covenant saints looked forward with saving faith to their Messiah under the New Covenant (10:32 -11:40)

Unique Chapter 1.5: Become completed Jews in Jesus Christ your Messiah (12:1 -13:25)

Complement Part 2 (Romans): For all Jews and Gentiles from the first century forward (1:1 - 16:27)

Opposite Chapter 2.1: Both Jews and Gentiles have rejected the one true God and will be judged by the Old Covenant Law of Moses (1:1 - 2:16)

Opposite Chapter 2.2: Both Jews and Gentiles can only be justified through faith alone in the New Covenant Finished Work of Christ (2:17 - 5:21)

Complement Chapter 2.3: The indwelling Holy Spirit will deliver Believers from the power of sin if they walk in obedience to Him (6:1 - 8:39)

Complement Chapter 2.4: The Election of God will save a remnant of Israel in spite of their unbelief in the New Covenant Gospel of Christ (9:1 - 11:36)

Unique Chapter 2.5: The New Covenant Gospel of Christ calls us to serve God in every part of our lives (12:1 - 16:27)

Notice that the theme of Chapter 1.5 is unique compared with the other themes in Hebrews; it also contains the culmination of the Letter with Paul’s closing arguments to these first-century Jews who had been saved under the Old Covenant but had not yet embraced Jesus as their Messiah.

Chapter 1.1 and 1.2 oppose each other in their themes; Chapter 1.3 and 1.4 complement each other in their themes, and Chapter 1.5 is unique; therefore, the Golden Ratio design of Hebrews on the level of the chapter is “OO-CCU” or, “two opposites, two complements, and one unique”.

The letter to the Romans has the exact same Golden Ratio design on the level of the chapters; therefore, Hebrews and Romans are a perfectly matched pair of documents that together make up a complete Book in the Golden Ratio design.

This arrangement is based on the actual content of the text of these letters, as we have already seen in these studies, and the Bible is the Word of God from cover to cover; therefore, we can state without reservation that the Golden Ratio design of the Bible is from God the Holy Spirit who inspired the human authors of these letters.

2 Peter 1:20-21: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture comes of one’s own interpretation: for the prophecy came at no time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

The Golden Ratio design and outline of Hebrews, Chapter 1.5:

Now let’s briefly survey Chapter 1.5: in the Golden Ratio design, it is divided into three sections: Introduction, Body, and Conclusion, which makes sense, because through hundreds of years of education and personal experience, we know that the ideal book, sermon, letter, or formal communication of every kind is best organized in this same way: introduction, body, and conclusion. Therefore, we have learned through human experience that the best method of communication is actually God’s way of communication in the Bible! We just didn’t know that until now; Amen. God’s way is always the best way.

Also notice that the Golden Ratio design of the sections is two complements and one unique. There is a larger design principle of the Golden Ratio at work here, but I will save that for another time, because it requires an extended discussion.

Unique Therefore, seeing we also are surrounded with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily snares us; and let us run the racecourse that is set before us with patience;

Complement looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith;

Complement who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame; and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Opposite For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest you are wearied and faint in your minds.

Opposite You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Comments: Notice the Golden Ratio design of the subparagraphs: “UCC-OO”, or “one unique, two complements, and two opposites”. This is absolutely impossible unless God did it! And He did. Amen.

After citing the godly examples of the Patriarchs and the prophets in the Hebrew Bible in the previous chapter, Paul cited the Lord Jesus Christ as the ultimate example of faith and obedience.

Hebrews 12:3: “For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest you are wearied and faint in your minds.”

This goes to the heart of the predicament that was facing these Jews! If they went against their culture and the beliefs of their family and friends to openly embrace Christ as their Messiah and be baptized in deep water, they would almost certainly be disowned, abandoned, and rejected by them.

The world of sinners is controlled by Satan! They do not understand the truth of the Bible: it is a mystery to them.

I Corinthians 1:18: “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.”

Paul (through the Holy Spirit who inspired him to write this letter) urged these Jews to do the right thing for their own souls and embrace Christ as their Messiah, no matter what might come afterward. Christ, as the Author and Finisher of our faith, has blazed the way for us by enduring the cross and its shame, so that we might inherit his glorious Kingdom and its rewards by his grace. All these Jews had to do was to leave their faith of the Old Covenant behind, with its animal sacrifices and the priesthood of Aaron, to embrace the New Covenant priesthood and faith of Jesus Christ. Unique__Therefore, seeing we also are surrounded with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily snares us; and let us run the racecourse that is set before us with patience;

Paul was NOT saying that the saints in Heaven are all looking down on us as if they are sitting in a stadium cheering us on!

First of all, the context of this text is the Letter to the Hebrews, which I have proven numerous times that it is addressed only to Jews who were saved under the Old Covenant in the first century between the crucifixion of Christ in 30 A.D. and the destruction of

Jerusalem in 70 A.D. It is NOT addressed to anyone after the first century, let alone the twentieth or twenty-first centuries!

Paul was saying to his Jewish readers of the day (as it were), “Look at the examples of these great fathers of our faith in the Hebrew Bible! They obeyed God and did his will, even when it didn’t make human sense to do that; and God blessed them for their obedience. You should follow their footsteps and obey God in this matter of making Jesus your Messiah and Lord of your life. Stop offering animal sacrifices in the Temple; and put your complete trust in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross and in the Lord Jesus Christ your Messiah and new High Priest according to the order of Melchisedec; or you will receive severe chastisement from God if you do not do this, including death if necessary.”

Secondly, it is very important to understand that when a believer goes to Heaven, they do NOT become a god or even an angel! No one in Heaven can hear your prayers except the Triune God! There is no Scripture in the Bible that teaches this idea. There is only one Jehovah God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.”

Ephesians 4:4-6: “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one Faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

1 John 5:7: “for there are three that bear witness in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.”

And God will not share his glory with anyone else!

Isaiah 42:8: “I am Jehovah: that is my Name; and my glory will I not give to another; neither will I give my praise to carved images.”

Everyone else in Heaven is either an angel or people who were believers in Jesus Christ when they died (or they were believers in Jehovah under the Old Covenant including the Patriarchs).

Regardless of what the evil demon Moroni told Joseph Smith in 1823, people do not become gods with the power to hear our prayers, nor do they look at the progress of our lives here on earth! They are in Heaven, enjoying the presence and blessing of God, and they are doing whatever believers do in Heaven; but hearing the prayers of people on Earth is not one of them. Any notion that they can do such things is not found in the Bible. I challenge you to find an example in the Bible if you don’t believe me. There is none!

The popes have manufactured the myths of saints in Heaven that listen to our prayers and help us; but these ideas come from paganism (such as Hinduism), which has many gods. The popes have added pagan ideas like this into Catholicism since they began ruling the Roman Empire, because they wanted to make everyone feel welcome in their church; but this is wicked and ungodly! Satan is never welcome in the House of God! Amen. If you invite Satan into your church, he will stay and destroy it from within.

Also, a believer does not get “angel wings” when they graduate to Heaven: that idea is a Roman Catholic myth that is similar to “Holy mackerel” or “holy water” or “holy smoke” or a “holy pope”: there is no such thing. It’s not in the Bible, but it sounds good, so many people want to believe it; but it is not true.

So there is no scriptural support for the idea of our Christian friends and family members who are in Heaven watching us in our lives and cheering us on to serve God. It sounds good, and I have heard it preached in good churches by otherwise good preachers; but it simply is not true. There is even a popular song by brother Ron Hamilton that talks about it, which is sad, because I know that brother Ron loves the Lord and he is in Heaven now.

I do believe that if we have friends and family in Heaven who were born again before they died, that they are praying to God for us. I am certain that if I were in Heaven right now, I would be praying for my lost friends and family to be saved, so that they could join me in that wonderful place; Amen.

However, they cannot hear our prayers, because they are not gods! And that includes the mother of Jesus Christ in Heaven: she cannot hear anyone’s prayers, because she is not a goddess, nor is she “the Queen of Heaven”, as falsely claimed by the popes of Rome!

1 Timothy 2:5-6: “for there is only one God, and ONLY ONE Mediator between God and men: the Man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all mankind, to be testified in due time.”

Unfortunately, this kind of thing illustrates the danger of handling the Word of God incorrectly. The reason that even the best churches have fallen into this error is an innocent one and it is from ignorance: most believers do not understand the context of the Letter to the Hebrews (and every other document in the Bible as well), because they do not yet know the Golden Ratio design of the Bible. They depend on Bible versions such as the King James version or other versions that use the Traditional arrangement of Old Testament and New Testament.

Therefore, when they read the Bible in these other arrangements, even with advanced degrees in seminary, they have no way to know for sure the correct context for any particular Bible text, and so innocent errors can get mixed into good Bible teaching.

I discuss this problem in more detail in the Appendix to the Kingdom Study Bible, but the summary is that if you are using some other Bible version, you cannot fully discern the correct context of any particular document in the Bible without the Golden Ratio design; and at this time, you can only find it in the Kingdom Study Bible, published by this ministry.

And without the correct context, it becomes much more likely that you will preach and teach Scriptural errors, even if you don’t mean to. False information should never be taught in any Bible believing church, because we claim to represent the one true God; and God is a God of truth and justice; He will never lie to us; therefore, we should never be guilty of telling falsehoods (even if unintentionally) in his holy Name.

Titus 1:1-3: “Paul, a servant of God, and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and a full knowledge of the truth which agrees with godliness; in assurance of Eternal Life, which God (that cannot lie) promised before the Ages began; but in due times, he has manifested his Word through preaching, which is committed to me according to the command of God our Savior.”

In addition to that, whenever false information gains a foothold in a church or churches, that false information will lead to more serious false information; and then you have the beginnings of a false religion; and that is not of God, my friends. Keep your faith pure and Scriptural; and this will help to keep the devil out of your church and church members. Amen.

¶Opposite Endure the discipline of your Heavenly Father to become a completed Jew (12:7 - 13)

Opposite And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to children, “My son, despise not the discipline of [Jehovah], nor faint when you are rebuked by him: for whom [Jehovah] loves he disciplines, and scourges every son whom he receives.” If you endure discipline, God deals with you as with sons: for what son is he whom the father does not discipline?

Opposite But if you are without discipline, whereof all are partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not truly sons of God.

Complement Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence.

Complement Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live? For they truly disciplined us for a few days after their own pleasure; but he for our spiritual good, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Unique Now, no discipline seems to be joyful for the moment, but painful; yet afterward, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who experience it. Therefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame part cannot be dislocated; but rather can be healed.

Comments: This paragraph has the opposite Golden Ratio design, on the subparagraph level, to the first paragraph in the introduction; and they also have opposing themes.

Recall that these Jews had been children of God, because they were saved through faith in Jehovah God through sacrifice of animals in the Temple of Jehovah under the Old Covenant. Jehovah was their heavenly Father, the same as the Apostle Paul and us; but their faith was incomplete, since God had moved on to the New Covenant in Christ and they were “left behind”, as it were. They were orphans of the Old Covenant.

So the will of their Father in Heaven was for them to also move on from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant, and in order to remain in loving communion with their Father, they had to embrace Christ as their Messiah.

And if they refused to do this, then the chastisement of God their Father would come on them; and ultimately, an early death. And this did happen for many of them when the Roman army of Titus attacked and razed Jerusalem and the Temple to the ground in 70 A.D.: exactly 40 years after Christ was crucified on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead in 30 A.D.

I have heard a number of sermons that referenced this text; but none of them that I can remember ever explained this text in the correct context. The preachers always made an application to Christians, which is correct; however, the correct INTERPRETATION was never explained (as I have done), which is part of the problem that we need to understand; and it is why almost no one today understands the correct interpretation of the Letter to the Hebrews.

Here is an application that we can make to ourselves in the 21st century: As born again believers in Christ (if that applies to you), we also need to follow the example of Christ our Lord, because our path in this world will lead us through many dangerous pathways; and we will face trouble from many who claim to be Christians, but are not; and they will attempt to seduce us into false teachings and sinful practices that are against the Word of God.

Every day, we face opposition from sinners who resist the Gospel, even though the Gospel can save them from going to Hell and the Lake of Fire! They are opposed to their own salvation; and mostly it is because of their ignorance of the Truth and the blindness of their hearts.

Ephesians 4:17-19: “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind; having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who being past feeling have given themselves over to lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

So we have to continue following Christ, preaching the Gospel to all, no matter whether they believe or do not believe, because God will use his Word and make it bear fruit in ways that we cannot know or see. Amen.

Opposite But if you are without discipline, whereof all are partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not truly sons of God.

Here is another application for us: if a person who claims to be a Christian can live in a state of sin, and they are not chastised for their sins by God: you know that that person is not a true born-again Christian.

This is not up for debate, according to this text. No one can continually sin if they have been born again into the Family of God through repentance and faith in the Finished Work of Christ. It does not happen!

1 John 1:5-6: “This, then, is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you: that God is Light; and in him, there is no darkness at all. If we claim that we have fellowship with him, but walk in darkness, we are lying, and not telling the truth.”

In other words, a born again Christian CAN sin (and we all do); but if he/she does, there will be chastisement from the Lord! So there are always consequences for a believer when they sin.

On the other hand, if a person who CLAIMS to be a Christian continues in the same life of sin that they practiced before they supposedly “got saved”, such as smoking, cursing, drinking, telling lies, committing fornication or adultery etc., then that person has never been born again and will not go to Heaven when they die.

However, they can be born again in the future, if they realize the danger that their soul is in and repent and turn to Christ in truth to be saved, so there is always hope until their last breath.

There is only one interpretation of any text in the Bible; but there can be many applications. We must know the difference if we are to rightly divide the Word of God; Amen.

2 Timothy 2:15: “Study to show yourself approved unto God: a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.”

Muhammad and Islam is NOT the Way to God! Mary is not the Way to Jesus or to Heaven! No church and no baptism and no good works can save you!

Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” John 14:6.

The Quran (17:111) says that allah has no son. The Bible agrees, because the one true God of the Bible has a Son, and his Name is the Lord Jesus Christ! Therefore, “allah” is not God!

Even the devils know that Jehovah Elohim has a Son, and they recognized Him in Jesus Christ:

Mark 3:11: “And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him; and they cried, saying, “You are the Son of God!”

I John 2:22-23: “Who is the liar, if not he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist: the one who denies the equality of the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, does not have the Father; but he that confesses the Son has the Father also.”

The Protestant Reformers were 100% right about the Pope: They all said he was an antichrist! The Catholic religion is much worse today than in the days of the reformers! There is no salvation in any church and there is no hope in the Pope!

If you are a Muslim, a Roman Catholic, a Hindu, a Bahai, an atheist/agnostic, or a person who is a church member, but you are trusting in your baptism or your good works to be saved, then God is not with you, my friend! You are a sinner before God who will soon stand before Him in Judgment; after which He will cast you into the Lake of Fire forever and ever and ever!

Do you realize that in Heaven: Muslims, Roman Catholics, Hindus, Bahais, Shintos, atheists/agnostics, and false Christians will never be allowed into that holy place? That’s right, friend! Anyone who is not a born again Christian will never see the glories and wonders of Heaven, because you will be in Hell until the Great White Throne judgment; and after that, the Lake of Fire, forever and ever; and you will never get out!

May God open your eyes to the extreme danger that you are in right now! If your heart would stop beating for any reason, you would instantly drop down into a terrible place that is full of burning sulphur, fire, and continuous wailing, crying, gnashing of teeth, and extreme suffering by all who are in that place! You are literally only a heartbeat away from Hell!

The only escape for you from that terrible place called Hell is the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross 2,000 years ago. Jesus suffered on the cross for the sins of all mankind: past, present, and future; and that included you and me, thank God! His suffering is enough for you to make peace with God, who is angry with you because of your sins.

All you must do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God who came to Earth to be born of a virgin, lived a sinless, perfect life for 33 years, was crucified and suffered unimaginable pain on our behalf so that we don’t have to suffer in Hell, if we have trusted Him to save us; and when He died, they placed Him in a tomb for 3 days. Afterward, Jesus arose from the dead, victorious over sin, death, Hell and the grave! Amen.

You must also understand and believe that you are a sinner; and that your sins helped to put Jesus Christ on the cross! That’s right, friend! Jesus died FOR YOU, so that you might have Everlasting Life!

Prefacio: La Carta a los Hebreos fue escrita a los judíos del primer siglo que se habían salvado bajo el Antiguo Pacto usando el sistema de sacrificios de animales en el Templo de Herodes y el sacerdocio de Aarón y sus hijos.

Pero ahora que Cristo ya había expiado los pecados del mundo en la cruz del Calvario en el año 30 d.C., esos judíos necesitaban pasar del Antiguo Pacto de repetidos sacrificios de animales al Nuevo Pacto de Cristo, que se basó únicamente en su sacrificio en la cruz, que fue consumado y completado, una vez para siempre: nunca se repetirá. Éste es un punto muy importante, de los cuales haré aplicaciones en este estudio.

Este proceso de pasar del Antiguo al Nuevo Pacto fue uno de finalización para estos judíos. ¡Ya eran hijos de Dios por la fe! Pero estaban incompletos en su fe sin Cristo como el centro de su fe: era hora de que crecieran y abrazaran a Cristo, o serían juzgados por Jehová por su desobediencia.

Esta carta no fue escrita para nadie fuera de este grupo de personas; o se hicieron seguidores de Cristo (sabemos que algunos de ellos lo hicieron), o continuaron bajo el Antiguo Pacto y fueron castigados con la muerte en la destrucción de Jerusalén y el Templo en el 70 d.C.

Podemos aplicar muchas lecciones espirituales para los cristianos de hoy; pero la interpretación de esta carta pertenece solo a los judíos del primer siglo hasta el 70 d.C. Cualquier otra interpretación te conducirá a errores doctrinales.

¡Es difícil de creer, pero hemos estudiado casi toda la carta a los Hebreos! ¡Alabado sea el Señor!

Note que el tema del Capítulo 1.5 es único comparado con los otros temas en Hebreos; también contiene la culminación de la Carta con los argumentos finales de Pablo a estos judíos del primer siglo quien se habían salvado bajo la Antigua Alianza, pero que aún no habían abrazado a Jesús como su Mesías.

Los capítulos 1.1 y 1.2 se oponen en sus temas; Los capítulos 1.3 y 1.4 se complementan entre sí en sus temas, y el capítulo 1.5 es único; por lo tanto, el diseño de la Proporción Áurea de Hebreos en el nivel del capítulo es “OO-CCU” o “dos opuestos, dos complementos y uno único”.

La carta a los Romanos tiene exactamente el mismo diseño de proporción áurea en el nivel de los capítulos; por lo tanto, Hebreos y Romanos son un par de documentos perfectamente combinados que juntos forman un Libro completo en el diseño de la Proporción Áurea.

Esta disposición se basa en el contenido real del texto de estas cartas, como ya hemos visto en estos estudios, y la Biblia es la Palabra de Dios de tapa a tapa; por lo tanto, podemos afirmar sin reservas que el diseño de la proporción áurea de la Biblia proviene de Dios el Espíritu Santo, quien inspiró a los autores humanos de estas cartas.

2 Pedro 1:20-21: “Sabiendo esto primero, que ninguna profecía de la Escritura viene de cualquier interpretación privada: porque la profecía no llegó en ningún momento por la voluntad del hombre, pero los santos hombres de Dios hablaron como fueron llevados a lo largo por el Espíritu Santo.”

Ahora analicemos brevemente el Capítulo 1.5: en el diseño de la Proporción Áurea, se divide en tres secciones: Introducción, Cuerpo y Conclusión; lo cual tiene sentido, porque a través de cientos de años de educación y experiencia personal, sabemos que el libro, sermón, carta o comunicación formal ideal de cualquier tipo se organiza mejor de la misma manera: introducción, cuerpo y conclusión. ¡Por lo tanto, hemos aprendido a través de la experiencia humana que el mejor método de comunicación es en realidad la forma de comunicación de Dios en la Biblia! Simplemente no lo sabíamos hasta ahora; Amén. El camino de Dios es siempre el mejor camino.

Observe también que el diseño de la proporción áurea de las secciones es dos complementos y uno único. Hay un principio de diseño más amplio de la proporción áurea en el trabajo aquí, pero lo guardaré para otro momento, porque requiere una discusión más extensa.

El complemento mirando hasta Jesús, el autor y consumador de la nuestra fe;

El complemento quien, por el gozo puesto delante de él, soportó la cruz, despreciando la vergüenza; y ahora está sentado a la diestra del trono de Dios.

Lo opuesto Porque considerad a él quien soportó tal contradicción de los pecadores contra sí mismo, no sea que estés cansado y débil en tus mentes.

Lo opuesto Aún no habéis resistido hasta la sangre, luchando contra el pecado.

Comentarios: Observe el diseño de la proporción áurea de los subpárrafos: “UCC-OO”, o “uno único, dos complementarios y dos opuestos”. ¡Esto es absolutamente imposible a menos que Dios lo haya hecho! Y él hizo. Amén.

Después de citar los ejemplos piadosos de los patriarcas y los profetas en la Biblia hebrea en el capítulo anterior, Pablo citó al Señor Jesucristo como el máximo ejemplo de fe y obediencia.

Hebreos 12:3: “Porque considerad a él quien soportó tal contradicción de los pecadores contra sí mismo, no sea que estés cansado y débil en tus mentes.”

¡Esto va al corazón del predicamento que enfrentaban estos judíos! Si fueron en contra de su cultura y las creencias de su familia y amigos para abrazar abiertamente a Cristo como su Mesías y ser bautizados en aguas profundas, es casi seguro que serían repudiados, abandonados y rechazados por ellos.

¡El mundo de los pecadores está controlado por Satanás! No entienden la verdad de la Biblia: es un misterio para ellos.

I Corintios 1:18: “Porque la predicación de la cruz es insensatez a los que se pierden, sino para nosotros que somos salvos, es el poder de Dios.”

Pablo (a través del Espíritu Santo que lo inspiró a escribir esta carta) instó a estos judíos a hacer lo correcto para sus propias almas y aceptar a Cristo como su Mesías, no importa lo que pueda venir después. Cristo, como Autor y Consumador de nuestra fe, nos ha abierto el camino al soportar la cruz y su vergüenza, para que podamos heredar su Reino glorioso y sus recompensas por su gracia. Todo lo que estos judíos tenían que hacer era dejar atrás su fe del Antiguo Pacto, con sus sacrificios de animales y el sacerdocio de Aarón, para abrazar el sacerdocio del Nuevo Pacto y la fe de Jesucristo. Único__Por tanto, viendo que también estamos rodeados de una nube tan grande de testigos, despojémonos de cada peso, y el pecado que tan fácilmente nos asedia; corramos la carrera que está puesta delante de nosotros con paciencia.

¡Pablo NO estaba diciendo que todos los santos en el cielo nos miran desde arriba como si estuvieran sentados en un estadio animándonos!

En primer lugar, el contexto de este texto es la Carta a los Hebreos, la cual he probado numerosas veces que está dirigida únicamente a los judíos que fueron salvados bajos el Antiguo Pacto en el primer siglo entre la crucifixión de Cristo en el 30 d.C. y la destrucción de Jerusalén en el 70 d.C. ¡NO está dirigido a nadie después del primer siglo, y mucho menos del siglo veinte o veintiuno!

Pablo les estaba diciendo a sus lectores judíos de la época (por así decirlo): “Miren los ejemplos de estos grandes padres de nuestra fe en la Biblia hebrea! Obedecieron a Dios e hicieron su voluntad, incluso cuando no tenía sentido humano hacer eso; y Dios los bendijo por su obediencia. Debéis seguir sus pasos y obedecer a Dios en este asunto de hacer de Jesús vuestro Mesías y Señor de vuestra vida. Dejéis de ofrecer sacrificios de animales en el Templo; y depositad toda vuestra confianza en la Obra terminada de Cristo en la cruz y en el Señor Jesucristo vuestro Mesías y nuevo Sumo Sacerdote según el orden de Melquisedec; o recibirá un severo castigo de Dios si no hace esto, incluso la muerte si es necesario.”

En segundo lugar, es muy importante entender que cuando un creyente va al cielo, ¡NO se convierte en un dios o incluso en un ángel! ¡Nadie en el Cielo puede escuchar tus oraciones excepto el Dios Triuno! No hay Escritura en la Biblia que enseñe esta idea. Hay un solo Jehová Dios, que es Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo.

Deuteronomio 6:4: “Oye, oh Israel: Jehová nuestro Dios es uno Jehová”.

Efesios 4:4-6: “Hay uno cuerpo, y uno Espíritu, como sois también llamados en una misma esperanza de vuestro llamamiento. Uno Señor, una fe, un bautismo, uno Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todo, y por todo, y en todos ustedes”.

1 Juan 5:7: “porque hay tres que dan testimonio en el Cielo: el Padre, el Verbo y el Espíritu Santo; y estos tres son uno.”

¡Y Dios no compartirá su gloria con nadie más!

Isaías 42:8: “Yo soy Jehová: eso es mi Nombre; y no daré mi gloria a otro; ni daré mi alabanza a las imágenes talladas.”

Todos los demás en el cielo son ángeles o personas que creían en Jesucristo cuando murieron (o eran creyentes en Jehová bajo el Antiguo Pacto incluyendo a los Patriarcas).

¡Independientemente de lo que el demonio malvado Moroni le dijo a José Smith en 1823, ¡las personas no se vuelven dioses con el poder de escuchar nuestras oraciones, y tampoco miran el progreso de nuestras vidas aquí en la Tierra! Están en el Cielo, disfrutando de la presencia y bendición de Dios, y están haciendo todo lo que hacen los creyentes en el Cielo; pero escuchar las oraciones de la gente en la Tierra no es una de ellas. Cualquier noción de que pueden hacer tales cosas no se encuentra en la Biblia. Te desafío a encontrar un ejemplo en la Biblia si no me crees. ¡No hay ninguno!

Los papas han fabricado los mitos de santos en el Cielo que escuchan nuestras oraciones y nos ayudan; pero estas ideas provienen del paganismo (como el hinduismo), que tiene muchos dioses. Los papas han agregado ideas paganas como esta al catolicismo desde que comenzaron a gobernar el Imperio Romano, porque querían que todos se sintieran bienvenidos en su iglesia; ¡pero esto es malvado e impío! ¡Satanás nunca es bienvenido en la Casa de Dios! Amén. Si invitas a Satanás a tu iglesia, se quedará y la destruirá desde adentro.

Además, un creyente no obtiene “alas de ángel” cuando se gradúa al Cielo: esa idea es un mito católico romano que es similar a “Santa caballa” o “agua bendita” o “humo santo” o un “papa santo”: no existe tal cosa. No está en la Biblia, pero suena bien, mucha gente quiere creerlo; Pero no es cierto.

Así que no hay apoyo bíblico para la idea de nuestros amigos y familiares cristianos que están en el cielo observándonos en nuestras vidas y animándonos a servir a Dios. Suena bien, y lo he oído predicado en buenas iglesias por de lo los contrarios buenos predicadores; pero simplemente no es cierto. Incluso hay una canción popular del hermano Ron Hamilton que habla de eso, lo cual es triste, porque yo sé que el hermano Ron ama al Señor y ahora está en el Cielo.

Creo que si tenemos amigos y familiares en el cielo que nacieron de nuevo antes de morir, están orando a Dios por nosotros. Estoy seguro de que si estuviera en el Cielo ahora mismo, estaría orando por la salvación de mis amigos y familiares perdidos, para que pudieran unirse a mí en ese maravilloso lugar; Amén.

Sin embargo, no pueden escuchar nuestras oraciones, ¡porque no son dioses! Y eso incluye a la madre de Jesucristo en el Cielo: ¡ella no puede escuchar las oraciones de nadie, porque no es una diosa, ni es “la Reina del Cielo”, como afirman falsamente los papas de Roma!

1 Timoteo 2:5-6: “porque hay solo uno Dios, y solo único mediador entre Dios y los hombres, el hombre Jesús Cristo; quien se dio a sí mismo un rescate por todos, ser testificado a su debido tiempo”.

Desafortunadamente, este tipo de cosas ilustra el peligro de manejar la Palabra de Dios incorrectamente. La razón que incluso las mejores iglesias han caído en este error es inocente y es por ignorancia: la mayoría de los creyentes no entienden el contexto de la Carta a los Hebreos (y cualquier otro documento en la Biblia también), porque aún no conocen el diseño de la proporción áurea de la Biblia. Dependen de versiones de la Biblia como la versión Rey Jacobo u otras versiones que usan el arreglo tradicional del Antiguo Testamento y el Nuevo Testamento.

Por lo tanto, cuando leen la Biblia en estos otros arreglos, incluso con títulos avanzados en el seminario, no tienen forma de saber con certeza el contexto correcto para cualquier texto bíblico en particular, y así los errores inocentes pueden mezclarse con la buena enseñanza bíblica.

Discuto este problema con más detalle en el Apéndice de el Reino Estudio Biblia (REB); pero el resumen es que si está usando alguna otra versión de la Biblia, no puede discernir completamente el contexto correcto de cualquier documento en particular en la Biblia sin el diseño de la Proporción Áurea; y en este momento, solo puedes encontrarlo en el Reino Estudio Biblia (REB), publicada por este ministerio.

Y sin el contexto correcto, es mucho más probable que predique y enseñe errores bíblicos, incluso si no es su intención. Nunca se debe enseñar información falsa en ninguna iglesia que crea en la Biblia, porque pretendemos representar al único Dios verdadero; y Dios es un Dios de verdad y justicia; Él nunca nos mentirá; por lo tanto, nunca debemos ser culpables de decir falsedades (aunque sea sin querer) en su santo Nombre.

Tito 1:1-3: “Pablo, un siervo de Dios, y Apóstol de Jesús Cristo, según la fe de los escogidos de Dios, y un pleno conocimiento de la verdad que concuerda con la piedad; en la certeza de la Vida Eterna, que Dios (que no puede mentir) prometió antes de que comenzaran las Edades; pero en debidos tiempos, ha manifestado su Palabra a través de la predicación, cual está comprometido conmigo por mandato de Dios nuestro Salvador”.

Además de eso, siempre que la información falsa se establezca en una iglesia o iglesias, esa información falsa conducirá a información falsa más grave; y luego tenéis el comienzo de una religión falsa; y eso no es de Dios, mis amigos. Mantén tu fe pura y bíblica; y esto ayudará a mantener al diablo fuera de su iglesia y de los miembros de la iglesia. Amén.

¶Lo opuesto Soportad la disciplina de tu Padre Celestial para convertirte en un judío completo (12:5 - 13)

Lo opuesto Y ustedes ha olvidado la exhortación que habla a ustedes como a niños: “Hijo mío, no desprecies la disciplina de [Jehová], ni desmayes cuando seas reprendido por él: porque quien [Jehová] ama, él disciplina; y él azota a todo hijo que recibe.” Si soportáis el castigo, Dios os trata como con hijos: porque ¿qué hijo es aquel a quien el padre no castiga?

Lo opuesto Pero si seáis sin el castigo, del cual todos son hechos partícipes, entonces ustedes son ilegítimos, y no sois verdaderamente hijos de Dios.

El complemento Además, hemos tenido padres de nuestra carne que nos corrigieron; y les dimos reverencia.

El complemento ¿No deberíamos, más bien, estar sujetos al Padre de los espíritus y vivir? Porque, verdaderamente, nos disciplinaron durante unos días después de su propio placer; pero él por nuestro bien espiritual, para que podamos ser partícipes de su santidad.

Único Ahora, ninguna disciplina parece ser gozosa por el momento, sino dolorosa; aún después, da fruto apacible de justicia a los que lo experimentan. Por lo tanto, levantad las manos que cuelgan bajo, y las rodillas débiles; y haced caminos rectos para vuestros pies, a fin de que la parte coja no se puede dislocar, sino que más bien puede ser sanado.

Comentarios: Este párrafo tiene el diseño de la Proporción Áurea, a nivel de subpárrafo, que se opone al primer párrafo de la introducción; y también tienen temas opuestos.

§El complemento Introducción: Obedeced la voluntad de Jehová vuestro Dios y aceptad a Jesucristo como vuestro Mesías (12:1 - 13)

¶Lo opuesto Mantén tus ojos en Cristo y seguid su ejemplo de obediencia para convertirte en un judío completo (12:1 - 4)

¶Lo opuesto Soportad la disciplina de tu Padre Celestial para convertirte en un judío completo (12:5 - 13)

Recordemos que estos judíos eran hijos de Dios, porque habían sido salvados por medio de la fe en Jehová Dios mediante el sacrificio de animales en el Templo de Jehová bajo el Antiguo Pacto. Jehová era su Padre celestial, lo mismo que el apóstol Pablo y nosotros; pero su fe era incompleta, ya que Dios había avanzado al Nuevo Pacto en Cristo y ellos fueron “dejados atrás”, por así decirlo. Eran huérfanos del Antiguo Pacto.

Así que la voluntad de su Padre en el Cielo era que ellos también pasaran del Antiguo Pacto al Nuevo Pacto, y para permanecer en comunión amorosa con su Padre, tenían que abrazar a Cristo como su Mesías.

Y si rehusaban hacer esto, entonces vendría sobre ellos el castigo de Dios su Padre; y en última instancia, una muerte prematura. Y esto les sucedió a muchos de ellos cuando el ejército romano de Tito atacó y arrasó Jerusalén y el Templo al suelo en el año 70 d.C.: exactamente 40 años después de que Cristo fue crucificado en la cruz, fue sepultado y resucitó de entre los muertos en el año 30 d.C.

He escuchado varios sermones que hacen referencia a este texto; pero ninguno de ellos que yo pueda recordar alguna vez explicó este texto en el contexto correcto. Los predicadores siempre hicieron una aplicación a los cristianos, lo cual es correcto; sin embargo, nunca se explicó la INTERPRETACIÓN correcta (como lo he hecho yo), lo cual es parte del problema que necesitamos entender; y es por eso que casi nadie hoy comprende la correcta interpretación de la Carta a los Hebreos.

Aquí hay una aplicación que podemos hacernos a nosotros mismos en el siglo XXI: Como creyentes en Cristo nacidos de nuevo (si eso se aplica a usted), también debemos seguir el ejemplo de Cristo nuestro Señor,porque nuestro camino en este mundo nos llevará por muchos caminos peligrosos; y enfrentaremos problemas de muchos que dicen ser cristianos, pero no lo son; e intentarán seducirnos a enseñanzas falsas y prácticas pecaminosas que están en contra de la Palabra de Dios.

¡Todos los días enfrentamos la oposición de los pecadores que resisten el Evangelio, aunque el Evangelio puede salvarlos de ir al Infierno y al Lago de Fuego! Se oponen a su propia salvación; y principalmente es por su ignorancia de la Verdad y la ceguera de sus corazones.

Efesios 4:17-19: “Esto, pues, digo y requiero en el Señor; que ya no andéis como los otros gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su mente, teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos a la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón; los cuales habiendo perdido toda sensibilidad, se entregaron a la lascivia para con avidez cometer toda clase de impureza.”

Entonces tenemos que seguir siguiendo a Cristo, predicando el Evangelio a todos, sin importar si creen o no creen, porque Dios usará su Palabra y la hará fructificar de maneras que no podemos conocer ni ver. Amén.

Lo opuesto Pero si seáis sin el castigo, del cual todos son hechos partícipes, entonces ustedes son ilegítimos, y no sois verdaderamente hijos de Dios.

Aquí hay otra aplicación para nosotros: si una persona que dice ser cristiana puede vivir en un estado de pecado, y no es castigada por Dios por sus pecados: usted sabe que esa persona no es un verdadero cristiano nacido de nuevo.

Esto no es discutible, según este texto. Nadie puede pecar continuamente si ha nacido de nuevo en la Familia de Dios a través del arrepentimiento y la fe en la Obra Terminada de Cristo. ¡Eso no pasa!

1 Juan 1:5-6: “Éste, pues, es el mensaje que hemos oído de él, y os anunciamos: que Dios es Luz; y en él, no hay oscuridad en absoluto. Si decimos que tenemos comunión con él, pero andamos en tinieblas, mentimos y no decimos la verdad.”

En otras palabras, un cristiano nacido de nuevo PUEDE pecar (y todos lo hacemos); pero si el/ella lo hace, ¡habrá castigo del Señor! Así que siempre hay consecuencias para un creyente cuando peca.

Por otro lado, si una persona que dice ser cristiana continúa en la misma vida de pecado que practicaba antes de supuestamente “ser salvado”, como fumar, maldecir, beber, decir mentiras, cometer fornicación o adulterio, etc., entonces esa persona nunca ha nacido de nuevo y no irá al Cielo cuando muera.

Sin embargo, pueden nacer de nuevo en el futuro, si se dan cuenta del peligro en que su alma está en y se arrepienten y se vuelven a Cristo en verdad para ser salvados, para que siempre haya esperanza hasta su último aliento.

Solo hay una interpretación de cualquier texto en la Biblia; pero puede haber muchas aplicaciones. Debemos saber la diferencia si vamos a dividir correctamente la Palabra de Dios; Amén.

2 Timoteo 2:15: “Estudia para mostrarte aprobado ante Dios: un obrero que no debe avergonzarse, dividiendo correctamente la Palabra de Verdad.”

¡Mahoma y el Islam NO son el Camino a Dios! ¡María no es el Camino a Jesús ni al Cielo! ¡Ninguna iglesia, ningún bautismo y ninguna buena obra pueden salvarte!

Jesús dijo: “Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí”. Juan 14:6.

El Corán (17:111) dice que Alá no tiene hijo. ¡La Biblia está de acuerdo, porque el único Dios verdadero de la Biblia tiene un Hijo, y su Nombre es el Señor Jesucristo! ¡Por lo tanto, “alá” no es Dios!

Aun los demonios saben que Jehová Elohim tiene un Hijo, y lo reconocieron en Jesucristo:

Marcos 3:11: “Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo, “¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!”

Los reformadores protestantes tenían 100% de razón sobre el Papa: ¡todos decían que él era un anticristo! ¡La religión católica es mucho peor hoy que en los días de los reformadores! ¡No hay salvación en ninguna iglesia y no hay esperanza en el Papa!

Si usted es musulmán, católico romano, hindú, bahai, ateo/agnóstico, o una persona que es miembro de una iglesia, pero tú confía en tu bautismo o en tus buenas obras para ser salvado, entonces ¡Dios no está contigo, amigo mío! Eres un pecador ante Dios que pronto comparecerá ante Él en el Juicio; ¡después de lo cual te arrojará al lago de fuego por los siglos de los siglos!

¿Te das cuenta de que en el cielo: musulmanes, católicos romanos, hindúes, bahá’ís, sintoístas, ateos/agnósticos y falsos cristianos nunca podrán entrar en ese lugar sagrado? ¡Así es, amigo! Cualquiera que no sea un cristiano nacido de nuevo, nunca verá las glorias y maravillas del Cielo, porque estará en el Infierno hasta el juicio del Gran Trono Blanco; y después de eso, el Lago de Fuego, por los siglos de los siglos; ¡y nunca saldrás!

¡Que Dios te abra los ojos al peligro extremo en el que te encuentras ahora mismo! Si tu corazón dejara de latir por alguna razón, caerías instantáneamente en un lugar terrible Si tu corazón dejara de latir por alguna razón, ¡caerías instantáneamente en un lugar terrible que está lleno de azufre ardiente, fuego, y continuos lamentos, llantos, crujir de dientes y sufrimiento extremo por todos los que están en ese lugar! ¡Estás literalmente a solo un latido del corazón del infierno!

El único escape para ti de ese terrible lugar llamado Infierno es la Obra Terminada de Jesucristo en la cruz hace 2000 años. Jesús sufrió en la cruz por los pecados de toda la humanidad: pasados, presentes y futuros; y eso te incluía a ti ya mí, ¡gracias a Dios! Su sufrimiento es suficiente para que hagas las paces con Dios, quien está enojado contigo a causa de tus pecados.

Todo lo que debe hacer es creer en el Señor Jesucristo, que Él es el Hijo de Dios que vino a la Tierra para nacer de una virgen, vivió una vida perfecta y sin pecado durante 33 años, fue crucificado y sufrió un dolor inimaginable, para que no tengamos que sufrir en el Infierno, si hemos confiado en Él para salvarnos; y cuando murió, lo pusieron en un sepulcro por 3 días. ¡Después, Jesús resucitó de entre los muertos, victorioso sobre el pecado, la muerte, el infierno y la tumba! Amén.

También debes comprender y creer que eres un pecador; ¡y que tus pecados ayudaron a poner a Jesucristo en la cruz! ¡Así es, amigo! ¡Jesús murió POR TI, para que tengas Vida Eterna!

Juan 3:16: Jesús dijo, “Porque Dios amó tanto al mundo, que él dio a su Hijo unigénito, que cualquiera que cree en él no deberían perecer, sino tener Vida Eterna.”

¿Crees estas cosas? Entonces y solo entonces podrás pedir perdón, basado en tu fe en lo que Jesús hizo por ti en la cruz hace 2000 años. Es su OBRA TERMINADA (no podemos agregarle ni quitarle nada). Es un regalo de Dios que nos fue dado; ¡pero su Obra Terminada por nosotros no nos hará ningún bien A MENOS QUE LO ACEPTEMOS COMO NUESTRO SALVADOR PERSONAL!

Si crees en Jesús, pero no oras para recibir su regalo de salvación, ¡aún irás al infierno!

Romanos 10:13: “Porque está escrito, “Cualquiera que llamará sobre el Nombre del Señor será salvado.”

Así es como puede ser salvado, SI USTED CREE todo lo que acabo de explicar. Reza esta oración con todo tu corazón para recibir a Cristo como tu Salvador:

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra TI. ¡No soy bueno y tú eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
