First, let’s look at Chapter 1 as a whole to understand the big picture first, before we dive into the details of the introduction.

Chapter 1.1: God the Son came to Earth to become a man to complete the work of Salvation on the cross (1:1 - 4:13)

§Complement Introduction: God the Son is the Creator; the angels are ministering spirits (1:1 - 7)

¶Opposite God the Son created all things and atoned for our sins (1:1 - 3)

¶Opposite The angels are ministering spirits and worship Jesus (1:4 - 7)

§Complement Body: The Gospel of the Finished Work of Christ was spoken by God the Son (1:8 - 3:6)

¶Unique God the Son is the Creator, while the angels were created by Him (1:8 - 2:1)

¶Complement The message of Salvation has negative eternal consequences for your soul if you neglect it (2:2 - 8a)

¶Complement The messenger of Salvation paid the ultimate price for your soul on the cross (2:8b - 13)

¶Opposite God the Son humbled Himself to become part of the race of Abraham to make reconciliation for sin (2:14 - 18)

¶Opposite Christ was worthy of more glory than Moses because He is a Son instead of a servant (3:1 - 6)

§Unique Conclusión: Your response to the Gospel of Christ will determine your Eternal destiny (3:7 - 4:13)

¶Complement Rejecting the Gospel will result in being shut out from God’s Rest, like unbelieving Israel in the wilderness (3:7 - 19)

¶Complement Belief in the Gospel will result in the ultimate rest of God for your soul (4:1 - 13)

I don’t want to go too deep here, but I want you to see the overall flow of the argument of Paul.

The overall theme of Chapter 1 is showing God the Son going down to Earth to become the final sacrifice for all sins, never to be repeated.

First, the Introduction section explains exactly who Jesus is: He is the second Person of the eternal Triune Jehovah God; He is NOT one of the angels, which are created beings.

Secondly, the Body section explains the Incarnation of the Word of God in Jesus Christ, who became the ultimate and final Atoning Sacrifice for our sins, never to be repeated. This section also underlines the urgency of believing in Christ, because of who He is.

Thirdly, the Conclusion section uses the example of Israel in the wilderness at Kadesh-Barnea, who had been given the choice to believe the words of Jehovah and go forward to conquer the Promised Land or do not believe Jehovah and go back to Egypt against the will of God.

This choice was very similar to the choice for the Jews who had been saved under the Old Covenant system of animal sacrifices before Christ had died on the cross: now that the Finished Work of Christ on the cross had done away with animal sacrifices as a means to approach the one true God, they had to decide whether to transfer their faith from the system of animal sacrifices in the Temple in Jerusalem to their Messiah and High Priest Jesus Christ, or reject Christ and continue with animal sacrifices against the will of God.

If those Jews completed their faith and received Jesus Christ as their Messiah, they would enter the true “rest” of God as completed Jews. Otherwise, they would end up like the generation of Israelites whose corpses fell in the wilderness and did not see the Promised Land of Canaan.

None of this letter directly applies to believers in Christ today; although applications can be made to us within this overall interpretation.

Paul expands on these topics in the following Chapters; but now, let’s look at the Introduction section for Chapter 1.

§Unique Introduction: God the Son is the Creator; the angels are ministering spirits (1:1 - 7)

¶Opposite God the Son created all things and atoned for our sins (1:1 - 3)

Unique God, who (at various times and in diverse manners) spoke in time past to the fathers by the Prophets, has in these Last Days spoken to us by his Son;

Complement whom he has appointed Heir of all things,

Complement by whom also he made the Ages.

Opposite Who being the brightness of his glory, and the exact image of his person, and upholding all things by the Word of his power,

Opposite through himself having made a cleansing of our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

The introduction to Chapter 1.1 of Hebrews is one of the most powerful and moving texts in the entire Bible.

It is a study in contrasts between Almighty Jehovah God and the angels of God, which were created by Him.

You cannot find this kind of Bible study anywhere, even in Bible college or Seminary. The reasons for that are complex and require a familiarity with the history of Christianity; but the short answer is that no one knew about the Golden Ratio design of the Bible until recently. I’m doing my best to explain it through these studies, at my own cost, so that every believer in Jesus Christ will benefit and see what the Lord has done in his Word.

The Golden Ratio design of the Bible is the answer of God to every question that any human ever had about the integrity, the preservation, and the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.

Comments: We begin our detailed study of the letter to the Hebrews with the introduction section, which is all about “Who is Jesus Christ?”

The answer, according to the inspired author, is that Jesus was originally God the Son in Heaven.

Unique God, who (at various times and in diverse manners) spoke in time past to the fathers by the Prophets, has in these Last Days spoken to us by his Son;

This statement says that the oral words of Jesus in his earthly ministry were the words of God the Father to us.

It also says that the oral and written words of the Prophets (Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah etc) were also the words of God the Father to us. This by itself doesn’t prove that Jesus was God; but there is more.

Complement whom he has appointed Heir of all things,

Jesus will inherit all things, which implies that He will rule the Universe.

Complement by whom also he made the Ages.

God the Father used Jesus to create the “Ages”, which means space, time, and the physical world: galaxies, solar systems, planets, quasars, black holes: and that includes you and me!

Opposite Who being the brightness of his glory, and the exact image of his person, and upholding all things by the Word of his power,

This is what God the Son is: Jesus has the same brightness of the glory of his Father, the exact image of his Person, and He upholds all things by the Word of his power!

“All things” includes the atoms, quarks, particles and various elements that make up our universe and the Chemistry Table of Elements.

Did you know that in the nucleus of an atom, there are usually two or more protons stuck together, which have a positive charge? But positive charges repel, like when you try to push two magnets together with the same poles: they push each other away!

How is it possible for all of these positively charged protons to stay together in the nucleus of atoms? The scientific explanation is “the strong nuclear force”.

“The strong force was first proposed to explain why atomic nuclei do not fly apart. It seemed that they would do so due to the repulsive electromagnetic force between the positively charged protons located in the nucleus. Physicists later found that the strong force not only holds nuclei together but is also responsible for binding the quarks that make up hadrons.”

The scientists only know that the “strong nuclear force” exists; but they don’t know where it comes from!

But the Bible tells us where the “strong nuclear force” comes from!

Hebrews 1:3: “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the exact image of his person, and UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER”

Colossians 1:16-17: “For all things were created by him: both those that are in Heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible (whether they are thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers). All things were created by him, and for him; and he is before all things, AND IN HIM ALL THINGS ARE BEING HELD TOGETHER.”

You see, this Universe and everything in it (including you and me!) would instantly fly apart and cease to exist if the Lord Jesus Christ did not hold it all together on the atomic level! Amen!

The Bible says that this is exactly what will happen someday when God creates a New Heaven and a New Earth. Jesus will release the bonds of every atom and destroy this Universe down to the very particles.

Just as in a nuclear bomb explosion where the atoms are split and the nuclear forces are broken and tremendous energy is released, so it will be at the end of the Millenial Kingdom: the Lord Jesus will remake this Universe into a new Heaven and a new Earth, where only born-again Believers in Jesus Christ will live. Sadly, the sinners will all be in the Lake of Fire at that time.

2 Peter 3:10-13: “But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night: in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, the earth also and the works that are in it shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons should you be in all holy conduct and godliness; looking forward to and desiring the coming of the Day of God; in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with intense heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth; in which dwells righteousness.”

Opposite through himself having made a cleansing of our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

This text is the opposite of the previous text, which spoke of what Jesus is; this text speaks of what Jesus DID: He atoned for our sins on the cross, was buried, and arose from the dead on the third day “through Himself having made a cleansing of our sins”; then Jesus ascended to Heaven and sat down on the right hand of God the Father.

Notice the Golden Ratio design of the sub-paragraphs: one unique, two complements, and two opposites.

¶Opposite The angels are ministering spirits and worship Jesus (1:4 - 7)

Opposite Having become so much better than the angels;

Opposite as he, by inheritance, has obtained a more excellent Name than they.

Complement For unto which of the angels said he at any time, “You are my Son; this day have I begotten you”? And again, “I will be a Father to him; and he shall be a Son to me”?

Complement And again, when he brings the First Begotten into the world, he says, “And let all the angels of God worship him.”

Unique And of the angels, he says, “Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.”

Opposite Having become so much better than the angels;

This second paragraph answers the question that many people ask: Was Jesus an angel or a created being of some kind, like a lesser god? The answer is definitely “NO!”

Jesus is “so much better than the angels”: in other words, Jesus is so much better than the angels, because He is not an angel! If He was an angel, this statement would not make sense. Do not let the cultists from the so-called “Jehovah’s Witnesses” or other cults fool you with their deceptive reasoning! Take the Bible at face value and let God speak for Himself. Amen.

Opposite as he, by inheritance, has obtained a more excellent Name than they.

Jesus “has obtained a more excellent Name than they”, because He is the Savior and the Messiah of Israel: God manifested in the flesh:

1 Timothy 3:16: “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and carried up to Heaven in glory.”

Romans 9:5: “of whom are the fathers; and out of whom according to the flesh is the Christ, the One who is over all: God, who is blessed into the Ages. Amen.”

Hebrews 1:8-9: “But TO THE SON HE SAYS, “YOUR THRONE, O GOD, endures into the Ages of the Ages; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your Kingdom. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions.”

The rest of this paragraph conclusively establishes that the angels are created beings which are completely different than the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Complement For unto which of the angels said he at any time, “You are my Son; this day have I begotten you”? And again, “I will be a Father to him; and he shall be a Son to me”?

Only Jesus Christ has the title “the Son of God”! None of the angels has this title.

Complement And again, when he brings the First Begotten into the world, he says, “And let all the angels of God worship him.”

“ALL” (not some, not most: A-L-L) of the angels of God worship Jesus! None of the angels are excluded. That means that Jesus could not be an angel!

Unique And of the angels, he says, “Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.”

This is what angels are: they are made by God: “spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire”. Notice the Golden Ratio design of the sub-paragraphs: two opposites, two complements, and one unique.

So the Introduction to this first Chapter in Hebrews establishes several facts about the Lord Jesus Christ:

1) Jesus was God the Son in Heaven before He became Jesus, the Savior of mankind, on the Earth. “Jesus” per se, did not exist in Heaven as “Jesus”: He was the Word of God (John 1:1-3) in Heaven:

John 1:1-3: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was the Word; the same Word was in the beginning with God. All things came into existence through him; and apart from him not even one thing was created of all that was created.”

And He was the Son of God, begotten by the Father in Eternity Past (which means that as far as we are concerned, the Word of God always existed, since “time” does not exist in “Eternity”; and therefore that the Word of God is eternal.

Psalm 2:7: “I will declare the decree: Jehovah has said to me, ‘You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.”

The so-called “eternal humanity of Christ” is a false teaching that should be rejected! The humanity of Jesus was conceived in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit; therefore, the humanity of Jesus did not exist prior to that moment.

The Bible makes it clear that “in the beginning was the Word”, not “Jesus” per se, because “Jesus” was and is the perfect union of the eternal Word of God and a perfect, sinless male body with two natures: Divine and human. Therefore, the God-man Jesus is completely unique in human history.

2) We beget children of our bodies; we do not create children! So also the Word of God was “begotten” by the Father, and was not created! And He is the “only begotten” of the Father, so there is no other “Son of God” than Jesus.

This means also that when we receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior and are born again into his family and Kingdom, we become his ADOPTED children! We were born as sinners, so we cannot be called true children of God except in the sense of being adopted by God as his sons and daughters by his grace through our faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross.

Ephesians 1:5: “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.”

So Jesus is the only true “Son of God”, because He was begotten by the Father in Eternity Past. We can become the adopted sons and daughters of God, if we repent of our sins and place our faith for forgiveness and salvation only in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross.

3) When the Bible calls Jesus the “only begotten of the Father” or “his only begotten Son”, the reference there is to the event in Psalm 2:7, which occurred in Eternity Past, not to the Incarnation of the Word, where the God-man Jesus was begotten by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary as Jesus the Christ: the Messiah of Israel.

John 1:14: “And the Word became flesh, and Tabernacled among us; and we beheld his glory: the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Matthew 1:20-23: “But while he was thinking on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, be not afraid to take to you Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his Name “JESUS”: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Now all this came to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the Prophet, saying, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a son; and they shall call his Name Emmanuel” (which means, “God with us”).”

If you do not know it yet, there are many cults and deniers of Jesus, including the so-called “Jehovah’s Witnesses” cult, that go door to door all over the world, beguiling souls to follow their false teachings about Jesus Christ.

This teaching that Jesus is not God is pure spiritual poison! If it is accepted and not repented of, it means that that person will definitely go to Hell when they die.

1) If Jesus is not God, He could not have atoned for our sins on the cross, because many men have died on crosses; but they did not pay for anyone’s sins. Jesus had to suffer for the sins of the entire human race (past, present, and future); no ordinary man could have done that.

2) If Jesus is not God, He could not have been sinless, because the Bible says,

“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

But the Bible says of Jesus,

1 Peter 2:21-22: “For even unto this were you called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps; who did not sin; neither was guile found in his mouth.”

3) If Jesus is not God, then He cannot save anyone! But the Bible says the opposite:

Acts 4:11-12: “This is the Stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, except through me.””

4) If Jesus is not God, then why does the Bible say the opposite?

Hebrews 1:8: “But to the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, endures into the Ages of the Ages; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your Kingdom.”

So, do not listen to the “Jehovah’s Witnesses” and other liars and deceivers who claim that Jesus is not God! Amen.

Revelation 1:8: “‘I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending,’ says the Lord [Jesus]; ‘who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty [God].’”

Conclusión

How about you? Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, repented of your sins and invited Him to come into your life to save you? If not, why not do it today?

Jesus Christ came to Earth, and was born of the virgin Mary without sin; He lived a sinless life for 33 years and gave his life on the cross to atone for our sins, once for all time, never to be repeated!

Then on the third day, Jesus arose bodily from the dead in triumph over sin, Hell, and the grave!

The Bible says that if we repent of our sins, and believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose up from the dead on the third day, and invite Jesus into our heart to save us, then we shall be saved!

Romans 10:9, 12-13: “If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.... For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him: for it is written, “whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”

There is no other Way to Heaven when you die, except through the Lord Jesus Christ!

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, except through me.””

If you would like to know the one true God as your personal Savior, and know for certain that you will go to Heaven when you die, instead of Hell, you can pray this prayer to be saved:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

No quiero profundizar mucho aquí, pero quiero que veas el flujo general del argumento de Pablo.

El tema general del Capítulo 1 muestra a Dios el Hijo bajando a la Tierra para convertirse en el sacrificio final por todos los pecados, que nunca se repetirá.

Primero, la sección de Introducción explica exactamente quién es Jesús: Él es la segunda Persona del eterno Dios Triuno Jehová; NO es uno de los ángeles, que son seres creados.

Comentarios: Comenzamos nuestro estudio detallado de la carta a los Hebreos con la sección de introducción, que se trata de “¿Quién es Jesucristo?”

La respuesta, según el autor inspirado, es que Jesús era originalmente Dios el Hijo en el Cielo.

Único Dios, quien (en diversos momentos y de diversas maneras) habló en el pasado tiempo a los padres por los Profetas, 1:2nos ha hablado en estos Últimos Días por medio de su Hijo;

Esta declaración dice que las palabras orales de Jesús en su ministerio terrenal fueron las palabras de Dios el Padre para nosotros.

También dice que las palabras orales y escritas de los Profetas (Jeremías, Ezequiel, Isaías, etc.) fueron también las palabras de Dios Padre para nosotros.Esto por sí mismo no prueba que Jesús fuera Dios; pero hay más.

El complemento quien él ha designado heredero de todas las cosas,

Jesús heredará todas las cosas, lo que implica que Él gobernará el Universo.

El complemento por quien también él hizo las Edades.

Dios el Padre usó a Jesús para crear las “Edades”, lo que significa espacio, tiempo y el mundo físico: las galaxias, los sistemas solares, los planetas, los cuásares, agujeros negros: ¡y eso te incluye a ti ya mí!

Lo opuesto Quien siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la representación exacta de su persona; y sosteniendo todas las cosas por la Palabra de su poder,

Esto es Dios Hijo: Jesús tiene el mismo resplandor de la gloria de su Padre, la imagen exacta de su Persona, ¡y Él sustenta todas las cosas por la Palabra de su poder!

“Todas las cosas” incluye los átomos, los quarks, las partículas y varios elementos que componen nuestro universo y la Tabla Química de Elementos.

¿Sabías que en el núcleo de un átomo, normalmente hay dos o más protones pegados, que tienen carga positiva? Pero las cargas positivas se repelen, como cuando intentas juntar dos imanes con los mismos polos: ¡se empujan entre sí lejos!

¿Cómo es posible que todos estos protones cargados positivamente permanezcan juntos en el núcleo de los átomos? La explicación científica es “la fuerza nuclear fuerte”.

Los científicos sólo saben que existe la “fuerza nuclear fuerte”; ¡pero no saben de dónde viene!

¡Pero la Biblia nos dice de dónde viene la “fuerza nuclear fuerte”!

Hebreos 1:3: “Quien siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la representación exacta de su persona; y SUSTENTANDO TODAS LAS COSAS POR LA PALABRA DE SU PODER,”

Colosenses 1:16-17: “porque todas las cosas fueron creadas por él: tanto los que están en el Cielo, y los que están en la tierra, visibles e invisibles (ya ellos sean tronos, dominios, principados o potestades). Todas las cosas fueron creadas por él y para él; y él es antes de todas las cosas; y EN ÉL, TODAS LAS COSAS ESTÁN SIENDO MANTENIDAS JUNTAS.”

Verás, este Universo y todo lo que hay en él (¡incluyéndote a ti ya mí!) se volaría aparte instantáneamente y dejaría de existir si el Señor Jesucristo no lo mantuviera todo unido a nivel atómico. ¡Amén!

La Biblia dice que esto es exactamente lo que sucederá algún día cuando Dios cree un Cielo Nuevo y una Tierra Nueva. Jesús liberará los lazos de cada átomo y destruirá este Universo hasta las partículas mismas.

Así como en la explosión de una bomba nuclear donde los átomos se dividen y las fuerzas nucleares se rompen y se libera una energía tremenda, así será al final del Reino Milenial: el Señor Jesús rehará este Universo en un Cielo nuevo y una Tierra nueva, donde sólo vivirán los Creyentes en Jesucristo nacidos de nuevo. Tristemente, todos los pecadores estarán en el Lago de Fuego en ese momento.

2 Pedro 3:10-13: “Pero el día del Señor vendrá como ladrón en la noche; en el cual los cielos pasarán con grande estruendo, y los elementos se derretirán con un calor intenso, y la tierra y las obras que en ella hay serán consumidas con fuego. Viendo, pues, que todas estas cosas serán disueltas, ¿qué clase de personas debéis ser en toda conducta santa y piadosa: esperando con ansias y deseando la venida del Día de Dios; en el cual los cielos estando en llamas se disolverán, y los elementos se derretirán con intenso calor? Sin embargo, según su promesa, esperamos cielos nuevos y tierra nueva; en el cual mora la justicia.”

Lo opuesto por él mismo habiendo hecho una limpieza de nuestros pecados, se sentó en la mano derecha de la Majestad en las alturas.

Este texto es lo contrario del texto anterior, que hablaba de lo que es Jesús; este texto habla de lo que Jesús HIZO: Él expió nuestros pecados en la cruz, fue sepultado y resucitó de entre los muertos al tercer día “por él mismo habiendo hecho una limpieza de nuestros pecados”; entonces Jesús ascendió al Cielo y se sentó a la diestra de Dios el Padre.

Observe el diseño de la proporción áurea de los subpárrafos: uno único, dos complementarios y dos opuestos.

¶Lo opuesto Los ángeles son espíritus ministradores y adoran a Jesús (1:4 - 7)

Lo opuesto Habiéndome vuelto tanto mucho mejor que los ángeles;

Lo opuesto como él, por herencia, ha obtenido un Nombre más excelente que ellos.

El complemento Porque ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios en algún momento, ““Tú eres mi Hijo; este día te he engendrado?” Y otra vez, “Yo seré un padre para él; y él será un hijo para mí?”

El complemento otra vez, cuando él trae el primer engendrado dentro el mundo, dice, “Y deja todos los ángeles de Dios le adoren.”

Único Y de los ángeles, dice, “Quien hace a sus ángeles espíritus, y a sus ministros un llama de fuego.”

Lo opuesto Habiéndome vuelto tanto mucho mejor que los ángeles;

Este segundo párrafo responde a la pregunta que mucha gente se hace: ¿Fue Jesús un ángel o un ser creado de algún tipo, como un dios menor? La respuesta es definitivamente “¡NO!”

Jesús es “tanto mucho mejor que los ángeles”: en otras palabras, Jesús es tanto mucho mejor que los ángeles, ¡porque no es un ángel! Si Él fuera un ángel, esta declaración no tendría sentido. ¡No dejes que los cultistas de los llamados “Testigos de Jehová” u otras sectas te engañen con su razonamiento engañoso! Lo opuesto como él, por herencia, ha obtenido un Nombre más excelente que ellos.

Jesús “ha obtenido un Nombre más excelente que ellos”, porque Él es el Salvador y Mesías de Israel: Dios manifestado en carne:

1 Timoteo 3:16: “Y sin contradicción, grande es el misterio de la piedad: Dios fue manifestado en carne, justificado en el Espíritu, visto de los ángeles, predicado a los gentiles, creído en el mundo, y llevado hasta el Cielo en gloria.”

Romanos 9:5: “de quienes son los padres, y desde quien según la carne es el Cristo, el Uno quien es encima todos: Dios, quien es bendito hasta las Edades. Amén.”

Hebreos 1:8-9: “Pero AL HIJO LE DICE, “TU TRONO, OH DIOS, ES PARA SIEMPRE JAMÁS; un cetro de justicia es el cetro de tu Reino. Has amado la justicia y odiado la iniquidad; por lo tanto, Dios, incluso tu Dios, te ha ungido con el aceite de alegría por encima tus compañeros.”

El resto de este párrafo establece de manera concluyente que los ángeles son seres creados que son completamente diferentes al Hijo de Dios, Jesucristo.

¡Solo Jesucristo tiene el título de “Hijo de Dios”! Ninguno de los ángeles tiene este título.

El complemento otra vez, cuando él trae el primer engendrado dentro el mundo, dice, “Y deja todos los ángeles de Dios le adoren.”

¡“TODOS” (no algunos, no la mayoría: T-O-D-O-S) de los ángeles de Dios adoran a Jesús! Ninguno de los ángeles está excluido. ¡Eso significa que Jesús no podía ser un ángel!

Único Y de los ángeles, dice, “Quien hace a sus ángeles espíritus, y a sus ministros un llama de fuego.”

Esto es lo que son los ángeles: están hechos por Dios: “espíritus, y sus ministros, llama de fuego”. Observe el diseño de la proporción áurea de los subpárrafos: dos opuestos, dos complementarios y uno único.

Así que la Introducción a este primer Capítulo de Hebreos establece dos hechos:

1) Jesús era Dios el Hijo en el Cielo antes de convertirse en Jesús, el Salvador de la humanidad, en la Tierra. “Jesús” per se, no existía en el Cielo como “Jesús”: Él era la Palabra de Dios (Juan 1:1-3) en el Cielo:

Juan 1:1-3: “En el principio era el Verbo, y el Verbo era con Dios, y el Dios era el Verbo; el misma Verbo fue en el principio con Dios. Todo las cosas llegó en la existencia a través de él; y aparte desde él, ni siquiera una cosa fue creada, de todo lo que fue creado.”

Y Él era el Hijo de Dios, engendrado por el Padre en la Eternidad Pasada (lo que significa que en lo que a nosotros concierne, la Palabra de Dios siempre ha existido, ya que el “tiempo” no existe en la “Eternidad”.)

Salmo 2:7: “Declararé el decreto: Jehová me ha dicho: ‘Tú eres mi Hijo; hoy te he engendrado.’

El Verbo de Dios se encarnó en el seno de la virgen María como Jesús el Cristo: el Hijo unigénito de Dios.

Mateo 1:20-23: “Pero mientras el estaba pensando en estas cosas, he aquí, el ángel del Señor le apareció en un sueño, diciendo, “José, hijo de David, no tenga miedo de llevar a María tu esposa hasta ti: porque lo que se concibe en ella es del Espíritu Santo. Y ella dará a luz un hijo, y llamarás su nombre JESÚS, porque él salvará a su pueblo desde sus pecados.” Ahora todo esto pasó, para que pueda ser cumplido cual fue dicho por el Señor, a través del Profeta, diciendo, “He aquí, una virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo; y llamarás su Nombre Emmanuel” (cual significa, ‘Dios con nosotros’).”

Si aún no lo sabes, existen muchas sectas y negadores de Jesús, entre ellas la secta llamada “Testigos de Jehová”, que van de puerta en puerta por todo el mundo, engañando a las almas para que sigan sus falsas enseñanzas acerca de Jesucristo.

¡Esta enseñanza de que Jesús no es Dios es puro veneno espiritual! Si se acepta y no se arrepiente, significa que esa persona definitivamente irá al infierno cuando muera.

1) Si Jesús no es Dios, Él no podría haber expiado nuestros pecados en la cruz, porque muchos hombres han muerto en las cruces; pero no pagaron por los pecados de nadie. Jesús tuvo que sufrir por los pecados de toda la raza humana (pasada, presente y futura); ningún hombre común podría haber hecho eso.

2) Si Jesús no es Dios, Él no pudo haber estado sin pecado, porque la Biblia dice,

“Todos han pecado y caído corto de la gloria de Dios.” (Romanos 3:23).

Pero la Biblia dice de Jesús,

1 Pedros 2:21-22: “Porque aun para esto fuisteis llamados, porque también Cristo padeció por nosotros, dejándonos ejemplo, para que sigáis sus pisadas; quien no pecó; ni se halló engaño en su boca.”

3) Si Jesús no es Dios, ¡entonces Él no puede salvar a nadie! Pero la Biblia dice lo contrario:

Hechos 4:11-12: “Esta es la Piedra que fue desechada por ustedes los edificadores, que se ha convertido en la cabeza de la esquina. Tampoco hay salvación en ningún otro: porque no hay otro Nombre bajo el cielo dado entre los hombres, por el cual debemos ser salvados.”

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dice: ‘Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino a través de mí.’”

4) Si Jesús no es Dios, entonces, ¿por qué la Biblia dice lo contrario?

Hebreos 1:8: “Pero al Hijo le dice, “Tu trono, oh Dios, perdura hasta las edades de las edades; un cetro de justicia es el cetro de tu Reino.”

Entonces, ¡no escuches a los “Testigos de Jehová” y otros mentirosos y engañadores que afirman que Jesús no es Dios! Amén.

La revelación 1:8: “‘Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el Principio y el Fin,’ dice el Señor [Jesús]; ‘quien es, y quien era, y quien ha de venir, el Todopoderoso [Dios]’.”

Conclusión

¿Y usted? Una aplicación de Hebreos que podemos hacer a los cristianos de hoy es que si eres un cristiano nacido de nuevo, pero no estás viviendo para Dios: Dios está esperando que regreses a Él y comiences a servirle. Dios es paciente y longánimo, ¡pero no esperará para siempre! ¡Un juicio severo de Dios está en el horizonte para ti, si ni regresas al Señor, mi hermano o hermana en Cristo!

Y si puedes pecar sin ningún castigo de Dios, entonces no eres un verdadero cristiano (Hebreos 12:5-10).

¿Te has arrepentido de tus pecados e invitado a Jesucristo a entrar en tu vida para salvarte? Si no, ¿por qué no hacerlo hoy?

Jesucristo vino a la Tierra, y nació sin pecado de la virgen María. Él vivió una vida sin pecado durante 33 años y dio su vida en la cruz para expiar nuestros pecados ¡una vez para siempre, para no repetirse jamás! Luego, al tercer día, Jesús resucitó corporalmente de entre los muertos en triunfo sobre el pecado, el infierno y la tumba.

La Biblia dice que si nos arrepentimos de nuestros pecados y creemos que Jesús murió por nuestros pecados y resucitó de entre los muertos al tercer día, e invitemos a Jesús a nuestro corazón para salvarnos, ¡entonces seremos salvados!

Romanos 10:9, 12-13: “si confesarás con tu boca al Señor Jesús, y creerás en tu corazón que Dios le levantó de los muertos, tú serás salvado.... Porque no hay diferencia entre el judio y el gentil: porque el mismo Señor sobre todo es rico a todos los que le invocan: porque está escrito, “Cualquiera que llamará sobre el Nombre del Señor será salvado.”

¡No hay otro Camino al Cielo cuando mueres, excepto a través del Señor Jesucristo!

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, “Soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.””

Si desea conocer al único Dios verdadero como su Salvador personal, y saber con certeza que tú irás al Cielo cuando tú mueras, en lugar del Infierno, tú puedes orar esta oración para ser salvado:

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra TI. ¡No soy bueno y tú eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!
