The theme of this Chapter is "The Old Covenant saints looked forward with saving faith to their Messiah (10:32 -11:40)"

This letter was written to the Jews of the first century who had been saved under the Old Covenant using the system of animal sacrifices in the Temple of Herod and the priesthood of Aaron and his sons.

But now that Christ had already atoned for the sins of the world on the cross of Calvary in 33 A.D., those Jews needed to move from the Old Covenant of repeated animal sacrifices to the New Covenant of Christ, which was based only on his sacrifice on the cross, which was finished and completed, once for all time: never to be repeated. This is a very important point, from which I will make applications in this study.

This process of moving from the Old to the New Covenant was one of completion for these Jews. They were already the children of God by faith! But they were incomplete in their faith without Christ as the center of their faith: it was time for them to grow up and embrace Christ, or be judged by Jehovah for their disobedience.

This letter was not written for anyone outside of this group of people; either they became followers of Christ (we know that some of them did), or they continued under the Old Covenant and were punished with death in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D.

We can apply many spiritual lessons for Christians today; but the interpretation of this letter belongs only to the Jews of the first century. Any other interpretation will lead you into doctrinal errors.

The Apostle Paul used the history of the Jewish people, going all the way back to righteous Abel, and then going forward through the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, and the prophets of God: all to make this point, that these Jews of the first century should look back to their fathers as examples for them to follow in their lives of obedience and faith.

Recall from the previous study that it was a very difficult thing for these Jews to abandon 1,500 years of their traditional worship using animal sacrifices in the Tabernacle and then in the Temple in Jerusalem; and then to begin something radically new for them, which was to trust only in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross for their spiritual completion as believers (not salvation, because they had already been saved under the Old Covenant), and begin living a new life as a completed Jew.

This involved great change; and whenever people are challenged to make a great change in their life, most will opt to not change, because change is uncomfortable! It is always more comfortable to stay wherever you are, stay quiet, and hope that no one will notice you.

But when God calls us to follow Christ, this will ALWAYS require change: in our belief system, in our behavior, and in our worship. God requires obedience to his Word! Excuses will not work with God.

And God will bless those believers who obey his Word and follow Christ; but those who try to live two lives (e.g. one life on Sunday morning, and a completely different life the rest of the week) will receive his judgment!

Likewise, these Jewish believers had to make a choice, and these great examples of faith and obedience from the past provide great encouragement to all believers of all ages to follow their footsteps.

Notice that the Golden Ratio design of the Body Section (on the paragraph level) is two opposites, two complements, and one unique. These distinctions are seen in the themes of each paragraph (a theme is the content of the entire paragraph boiled down into a single sentence); so the themes are based on the Bible itself, which shows that the Golden Ratio design is based on the Bible.

This is much different from most Bible outlines, which are often based only on the imagination of the human author.

§Complement Body: The fathers of the nation of Israel obeyed Jehovah their God by faith (11:1 - 31)

¶Opposite The Patriarchs before the Great Flood obeyed God by faith (11:1 - 7)

Unique Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen: for by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith, we understand that the Ages were framed by the spoken Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made by things that are visible.

Complement By faith, Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and by it he being dead still speaks.

Complement By faith, Enoch was removed, so that he would not see death; and was not found, because God had taken him away: for before his removal, he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Opposite But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for the one coming to God must believe that he exists; and that he is a rewarder of them that eagerly seek him.

Opposite By faith, Noah, being warned by God of things as yet unseen, moved with fear; and he prepared an Ark to the saving of his household; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Comments: We cannot please God without faith. When we repented of our sins and received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, we came into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. We cannot see Him now, but we will see Him someday in Heaven.

Hebrews 11:1-2: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen: for by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith, we understand that the Ages were framed by the spoken Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made by things that are visible.”

1 Peter 1:6-9: “In which salvation you greatly rejoice; though now for a season, if it is necessary, you are distressed through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith (being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it is tested with fire) might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Whom, having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you do not see him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory; receiving the result of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.”

Many sinners will go to the Lake of Fire because of their unbelief, which is the basis for all other sins as well:

Revelation 21:6-8: “And he said to me, “It is finished; I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of Life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and witches, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

I have heard some sinners who say that they have to understand every part of the Bible BEFORE they will repent and receive Christ as their Savior. So they ask many questions such as “Where did the wife of Cain come from?” or they will argue about the Law of Moses and supposed errors in the Bible; but they are unwilling to focus on what is truly important:

1) What are you? You are a sinner in the eyes of God.

Romans 3:23: “Because all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God”

Romans 3:9-12: “What then? Are we Jews better than Gentiles? No, not at all: for we have already demonstrated both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under the curse of sin: as it is written, “No one is righteous; no, not even one. There is no one that understands; there is no one that seeks after God; they have all gone out of the Way; they have together become unprofitable. There are none that do good; no, not even one.”

2) Where are you going when you die? Your current path is downward toward Hell, if you fail to repent of your sins and put your faith for salvation in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross 2,000 years ago. This is the ultimate reality!

John 5:28: Jesus said, “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and come forth: they that have done good, into the resurrection of Life; and they that have done evil, into the resurrection of damnation.”

Revelation 20:11-15: “And I saw a Great White Throne, and him that sat on it; from whose face the earth and the Heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the Books were opened; and another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the Books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. And Death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire: this is the second death; and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”

YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND EVERY PART OF THE BIBLE! In fact, you cannot understand the Bible at all until you repent and put your faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Without faith in Christ, the Bible will remain completely inscrutable to you: a mystery and a puzzle that you cannot solve!

1 Corinthians 1:18: “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but to us who are saved it is the power of God: for it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

A personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through FAITH is the KEY to understanding the Bible!

WHEN you have repented of your sins (i.e. acknowledged before God that He is right, and YOU are wrong - something that He already knows) and believed that Jesus is the Son of God, and you have asked Jesus to come into your life to save you from your sins and be your personal Savior: THEN AND ONLY THEN will you truly begin to understand the Bible! Amen.

“But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for the one coming to God must believe that he exists; and that he is a rewarder of them that eagerly seek him.”

All of the supposed “errors” and “contradictions” will no longer be a problem, because you will know and understand that God knows the answers, even if we don’t have them! Amen. God will reward your faith in things that you cannot see with the reality of your sins being forgiven and a peace with God that will pass understanding! It is real! Amen.

But if you don’t do this, then you will be endlessly trying to understand the Bible, but your unbelief in the Lord Jesus Christ will prevent you from understanding the Bible!

2 Timothy 3:7: “Always learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.”

Then when you come to the end of your life, God will not listen to you, because you have hardened your heart from repentance when the Lord called you to repentance the first time.

Romans 2:5-6: “But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart, you accumulate for yourself wrath, for the Day of wrath and revelation of the righteous Judgment of God; who will repay to every man according to his works.”

Proverbs 1:28-32: “Then they shall call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but shall not find me, because they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Jehovah. They wanted none of my counsel, and they despised all my reproof; therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the naive shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”

¶Opposite Abraham and Sara were seeking a future heavenly country and city of God by faith (11:8 - 16)

Opposite By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he would after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith, he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a foreign country; dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: for he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Opposite By faith also, Sara herself received strength to conceive seed; and she delivered a child when she was past the age of menopause: for she judged him to be faithful who had promised. Therefore, from one man (and him as good as dead), were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

Complement These all died in faith, not having received the promises; but having seen them far away, they were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Complement For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from which they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

Unique But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly; therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared a city for them.

Comments: The Apostle Paul cited Abraham and Sarah as examples of faith, because they trusted in Jehovah their God, even when there was no evidence to support this faith.

Romans 4:3: “for what does the Scripture say? Abraham “believed in [Jehovah]; and his faith was credited to him for righteousness.”

Romans 4:16b-22: “Who is the father of us all: as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”, before him whom he believed (that is God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which are not as though they were); who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, “So shall your seed be.” And being not weak in faith, he did not consider his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old; neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He doubted not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, he was also able to perform; and therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”

The Bible doesn’t say, but suppose that Abraham had told others that God had promised to him that someday, his descendants would number as many as the stars of the sky! You know what they would say, don’t you? “Ha ha ha! YOU ARE CRAZY, Abraham! You’re nuts!”

That’s what I hear often from unbelievers today. They mock God as some kind of “sky wizard”; and claim that He doesn’t exist! I used to believe similar things before I was saved, so I understand completely.

But He does exist, Amen! I have known the Lord Jesus Christ for almost 41 years since 1982. He is my best friend and my Lord and Savior, Amen! He is very, very real; and He is coming again to judge this wicked place!

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10: “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from Heaven with his mighty angels; in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe in that day (because our testimony among you was believed).”

If you are not ready to meet the Lord Jesus when He returns or when you die (whichever is first), then your future will be set forever and ever! There will be no hope for you, because you will become part of the screaming, crying horde of sinners that are locked in the horrible prison of Hell until the Great White Throne Judgment; after which, you will then be cast into the Lake of Fire forever and ever and ever; and YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT!

Muhammad and Islam is NOT the Way to God! Mary is not the Way to Jesus or to Heaven! The church cannot save you!

Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” John 14:6.

The Quran (17:111) says that allah has no son.

The Bible agrees, because the one true God of the Bible has a Son, and his Name is the Lord Jesus Christ! Therefore, "allah" is not God!

Even the devils know that Jehovah Elohim has a Son, and they recognized Him in Jesus Christ:

Mark 3:11: "And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him; and they cried, saying, “You are the Son of God!”

I John 2:22-23: "Who is the liar, if not he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist: the one who denies the equality of the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, does not have the Father; but he that confesses the Son has the Father also."

Your good works are not good enough to save you!

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been permanently saved through faith; and that faith is not out of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of our own works, lest any man should boast.”

But, if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God; and if you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and rose again from the dead on the third day; and if you are willing to repent of your sins now and you want to be saved and have a future in Heaven when you die, then you can use this prayer to receive Christ as your Savior and be saved, right now. Today is the day of Salvation! Tomorrow may be too late!

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

El tema de este Capítulo es “Los santos del Antiguo Pacto miraban hacia adelante con fe salvadora a su Mesías (10:32 - 11:40)".

Esta carta fue escrita a los judíos del primer siglo que se habían salvado bajo el Antiguo Pacto usando el sistema de sacrificios de animales en el Templo de Herodes y el sacerdocio de Aarón y sus hijos.

Pero ahora que Cristo ya había expiado los pecados del mundo en la cruz del Calvario en el año 30 d.C., esos judíos necesitaban pasar del Antiguo Pacto de repetidos sacrificios de animales al Nuevo Pacto de Cristo, que se basó únicamente en su sacrificio en la cruz, que fue consumado y completado, una vez para siempre: nunca se repetirá. Éste es un punto muy importante, de los cuales haré aplicaciones en este estudio.

Este proceso de pasar del Antiguo al Nuevo Pacto fue uno de finalización para estos judíos. ¡Ya eran hijos de Dios por la fe! Pero estaban incompletos en su fe sin Cristo como el centro de su fe: era hora de que crecieran y abrazaran a Cristo, o serían juzgados por Jehová por su desobediencia.

Esta carta no fue escrita para nadie fuera de este grupo de personas; o se hicieron seguidores de Cristo (sabemos que algunos de ellos lo hicieron), o continuaron bajo el Antiguo Pacto y fueron castigados con la muerte en la destrucción de Jerusalén y el Templo en el 70 d.C.

Podemos aplicar muchas lecciones espirituales para los cristianos de hoy; pero la interpretación de esta carta pertenece solo a los judíos del primer siglo hasta el 70 d.C. Cualquier otra interpretación te conducirá a errores doctrinales.

El apóstol Pablo usó la historia del pueblo judío, retrocediendo hasta el justo Abel, y luego avanzando a través de los patriarcas, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moisés, Josué y los profetas de Dios: todo para señalar este punto, que estos judíos del primer siglo deben mirar hacia atrás a sus padres como ejemplos a seguir en sus vidas de obediencia y fe.

Recuerde del estudio anterior que fue algo muy difícil de estos judíos abandonar 1500 años de su culto tradicional usando sacrificios de animales en el Tabernáculo y luego en el Templo en Jerusalén; y luego comenzar algo radicalmente nuevo para ellos, que era confiar solo en la Obra Terminada de Jesucristo en la cruz para su perfección espiritual como creyentes (no salvación, porque ya habían sido salvados bajos el Antiguo Pacto), Y comenzar a vivir una nueva vida como judío completo.

Esto implicó un gran cambio; y cada vez que se desafía a las personas a hacer un gran cambio en su vida, la mayoría optará por no cambiar, ¡porque el cambio es incómodo! Siempre es más cómodo quedarse donde estés, permanecer en silencio y esperar que nadie se fije en ti.

Pero cuando Dios nos llama a seguir a Cristo, esto SIEMPRE requerirá un cambio: en nuestro sistema de creencias, en nuestro comportamiento y en nuestra adoración. ¡Dios requiere obediencia a su Palabra! Las excusas no funcionarán con Dios.

Y Dios bendecirá a aquellos creyentes que obedezcan su Palabra y sigan a Cristo; ¡pero aquellos que tratan de vivir dos vidas (por ejemplo, una vida el domingo por la mañana y una vida completamente diferente el resto de la semana) recibirán al juicio de Dios!

Asimismo, estos creyentes judíos tuvieron que tomar una decisión, y estos grandes ejemplos de fe y obediencia del pasado brindan un gran estímulo a todos los creyentes de todas las edades para seguir sus pasos.

Observe que el diseño de la proporción áurea de la sección del cuerpo (en el nivel de párrafo) tiene dos opuestos, dos complementos y uno único. Estas distinciones se ven en los temas de cada párrafo (un tema es el contenido de todo el párrafo resumido en una sola oración); por lo tanto, los temas se basan en la Biblia misma, lo que muestra que el diseño de la proporción áurea se basa en la Biblia.

Esto es muy diferente de la mayoría de los bosquejos de la Biblia, que a menudo se basan solo en la imaginación del autor humano.

§El complemento Cuerpo: Los padres de la nación de Israel obedecieron a Jehová su Dios por la fe (11:1 - 29)

Único Ahora, la fe es la sustancia de las cosas que se esperan, la evidencia de las cosas no vistas: porque por ello, los ancianos obtuvieron un buen testimonio. Por la fe, entendemos que las edades fueron enmarcadas por la Palabra hablada de Dios; para que las cosas que se ven, no fueron hechos por cosas que son visibles.

El complemento Por la fe, Abel ofreció a Dios más excelente sacrificio que Caín, por lo cual alcanzó testimonio de que era justo, Dios testificando de sus dones; y por ello, él estando muerto todavía habla

El complemento Por la fe, Enoc fue quitado, para que no viera la muerte, y no fue hallado: porque Dios se le había llevado: porque antes de su remoción, tenía este testimonio: que él agradó a Dios.

Lo opuesto Pero sin fe, es imposible agradar a Él: el que viene a Dios ha de creer que existe; y que él es un recompensador de los que le buscan ansiosamente.

Lo opuesto Por la fe, Noé, siendo advertido por Dios de cosas que aún no se veían, movido con miedo, y preparó el Arca a la salvación de su casa; por el cual, él condenó al mundo, y llegó a ser heredero de la justicia que es por la fe.

Comentarios: No podemos agradar a Dios sin fe. Cuando nos arrepentimos de nuestros pecados y recibimos a Jesucristo como nuestro Salvador personal, entramos en una relación personal con el Señor Jesucristo a través del Espíritu Santo. No podemos verle ahora, pero le veremos algún día en el Cielo.

Hebrews 11:1-2: “Ahora, la fe es la sustancia de las cosas que se esperan, la evidencia de las cosas no vistas: porque por ello, los ancianos obtuvieron un buen testimonio. Por la fe, entendemos que las edades fueron enmarcadas por la Palabra hablada de Dios; para que las cosas que se ven, no fueron hechos por cosas que son visibles”.

1 Pedro 1:6-9: “En lo cual salvación ustedes mucho os alegráis, aunque al presente por un poco de tiempo, si es necesario, estáis angustiados por muchas tentaciones, que la prueba de vuestra fe (siendo mucho más preciosa que el oro que perece, aunque sea probado con fuego) podría ser hallada en alabanza, honra y gloria en la Revelación de Jesucristo. A quien, sin haberlo visto, amáis; en quien, aunque ahora no le veáis, aún creyendo, os regocijáis con gozo inefable y glorioso; obteniendo el fin de vuestra fe, que es la salvación de vuestras almas”.

Muchos pecadores irán al lago de fuego por su incredulidad, que es la base de todos los demás pecados también:

La revelación 21:6-8: "Y me dijo, “Está terminado. Soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin. Yo le daré a él que tiene sed desde la fuente del agua de la Vida gratuitamente. El que venciere, heredará todas las cosas; y yo seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo. Pero los temerosos e incrédulos, los abominables y homicidas, los fornicarios y hechiceros, los idólatras y todos los mentirosos tendrán su parte en el lago que arde con fuego y azufre, que es la muerte segunda.”

He escuchado a algunos pecadores que dicen que tienen que entender cada parte de la Biblia ANTES de arrepentirse y recibir a Cristo como su Salvador. Entonces hacen muchas preguntas como ¿”De dónde vino la esposa de Caín”? O discutirán sobre la Ley de Moisés y supuestos errores en la Biblia; pero no están dispuestos a centrarse en lo que es verdaderamente importante:

1) ¿Qué eres tú? Eres un pecador a los ojos de Dios.

Romanos 3:23: “porque todos han pecado, y se han quedado cortos de la gloria de Dios”

Romanos 3:9-12: “¿Qué, pues? ¿Somos nosotros los judíos mejores que los gentiles? No, no en absoluto: porque ya hemos demostrado que tanto judíos como a gentiles, que todos ellos están bajos la maldición del pecado: como está escrito, “Nadie es justo; no, ni siquiera uno. No hay quien entienda; no hay quien busque después de Dios. Todos se han desviado del Camino; juntos se han vuelto no rentables. No hay quien haga el bien; no, ni siquiera uno”.

2) ¿Adónde vas cuándo te muere? Su camino actual es descendente hacia el Infierno, si no se arrepiente de sus pecados y no pone su fe para la salvación en la Obra Terminada de Cristo en la cruz hace 2000 años. ¡Esta es la realidad última!

Juan 5:28: Jesus dijo, “No os maravilléis de esto: porque la hora viene cuando todos los que están en los sepulcros oirán su voz, y saldrán: los que hicieron el bien, a la resurrección de Vida; y los que hicieron lo malo, a la resurrección de condenación”.

La revelación 20:11-15: “Y vi un Gran Trono Blanco, y él que se sentó en ello; desde cuya cara la tierra y el Cielo huyeron lejos, y no se encontró lugar para ellos. Y vi a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie ante Dios; y los libros fueron abiertos; y otro libro fue abierto, cual es el Libro de la Vida; y los muertos fueron juzgados fuera de esas cosas que estaban escritas en los libros, según sus obras. Y el mar entregó los muertos que habían en él; y la muerte y el Infierno entregaron los muertos que estaban en ellos; y fueron juzgados cada uno según sus obras. Y la Muerte y el Infierno fueron arrojados al Lago de Fuego: esta es la segunda muerte; y quienquiera que no fuera encontrado escrito en el Libro de la Vida fue arrojado al Lago de Fuego”.

Si no está dispuesto a arrepentirse de sus pecados y recibir a Cristo por fe como su Salvador ahora, entonces tampoco estarás dispuesto a hacer eso más tarde.

NUNCA ENTENDERÁS CADA PARTE DE LA BIBLIA! De hecho, no puedes entender la Biblia en absoluto hasta que te arrepienta y ponga tu fe en Jesucristo como tu Salvador personal. Sin fe en Cristo, la Biblia permanecerá completamente inescrutable para ti: ¡un misterio y un enigma que no podrás resolver!

1 Corintios 1:18: “porque la predicación de la cruz es insensatez a los que se pierden, sino para nosotros que somos salvados, es el poder de Dios: porque está escrito, “Destruiré la sabiduría de los sabios, y traeré el entendimiento de los prudentes a nada.”

¡Una relación personal con el Señor Jesucristo a través de la FE es la CLAVE para entender la Biblia!

CUANDO te hayas arrepentido de tus pecados (es decir, reconocido ante Dios que Él tiene razón, y TÚ estás equivocado, algo que Él ya sabe) y cuando hayas creído que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios, y le hayas pedido a Jesús que entre en tu vida para salvarte de tus pecados y ser tu Salvador personal: ¡ENTONCES Y SÓLO ENTONCES realmente comenzarás a entender la Biblia! Amén.

“Pero sin fe, es imposible agradar a Él: el que viene a Dios ha de creer que existe; y que él es un recompensador de los que le buscan ansiosamente.”

Todos los supuestos “errores” y “contradicciones” ya no serán un problema, porque sabrás y entenderás que Dios sabe las respuestas, ¡aunque no las tengamos! Amén. ¡Dios recompensará tu fe en cosas que no puedes ver con la realidad del perdón de tus pecados y una paz con Dios que sobrepasará todo entendimiento! ¡Es real! Amén.

¡Pero si no haces esto, entonces estarás tratando sin cesar de entender la Biblia, pero tu incredulidad en el Señor Jesucristo te impedirá entender la Biblia!

2 Timoteo 3:7: “siempre aprendiendo, pero nunca capaz llegar al conocimiento de la Verdad.”

Entonces cuando llegues al final de tu vida, Dios no te escuchará, porque has endurecido tu corazón desde el arrepentimiento cuando el Señor te llamó al arrepentimiento la primera vez.

Romanos 2:5-6: “Pero conforme a tu dureza y corazón sin arrepentido, acumulas ira para ti misma, para el Día de la ira y de la revelación del justo Juicio de Dios; quien pagará a cada uno conforme a sus obras”.

Proverbios 1:28-32: “Entonces me llamarán, y no responderé; ellos me buscaran temprano, pero no me hallarán: porque aborrecieron el conocimiento, y no escogieron el temor de Jehová. No quisieron ninguno de mis consejos, y despreciaron todas mi reprensión; por tanto, comerán al fruto de su camino, y se llenarán con sus propios dispositivos. Porque el dar la espalda de los ingenuos los matará, y la prosperidad de los tontos los destruirá”.

¶Lo opuesto Abraham y Sara buscaban a futura patria celestial y ciudad de Dios por la fe (11:8 - 16)

Lo opuesto Por la fe, Abraham, cuando fue llamado para salir a un lugar que recibiría después para herencia, obedeció; para salir al lugar que había de recibir por herencia; y salió, no saber a donde él iba. Por la fe, habitó en la tierra prometida como en tierra ajena, morando en tiendas con Isaac y Jacob, coherederos de la misma promesa: porque él buscó una ciudad que tiene fundamentos, cuyo artífice y hacedor es Dios.

Lo opuesto Por la fe también, Sara misma recibió fuerza para concebir semilla; y dio a luz a un niño cuando ella había pasado la edad de la menopausia: porque ella juzgó a él para ser fiel quien había prometido. Por lo tanto, desde uno hombre (y él tan bueno como muerto), nacieron tantos como las estrellas del cielo en multitud, y como la arena que está a la orilla del mar innumerables.

El complemento Todos estos murieron en la fe, no haber recibido las promesas; sino habiéndolos visto lejos, ellos fueron persuadidos de ellos, y abrazaron a ellos, y confesando que eran extranjeros y peregrinos sobre la tierra.

El complemento Porque los que dicen tales cosas declaran abiertamente que ellos buscan un país. En verdad, si hubiesen estado pensando de ese país de donde vinieron, ellos podrían haber tenido oportunidad regresar.

Único Pero ahora ellos desean un mejor país, es decir, un celestial; por lo tanto, Dios no se avergüenza de ser llamado el Dios de ellos: porque ha preparado una ciudad para ellos.

Comentarios: El Apóstol Pablo citó a Abraham y Sara como ejemplos de fe, porque confiaron en Jehová su Dios, aun cuando no había evidencia que respaldara esta fe.

Romanos 4:3: “porque ¿qué dice la Escritura? Abraham “creyó en [Jehová]; y su fe fue acreditada a él por justicia.”

Romanos 4:16b-22: “Quien es el padre de todos nosotros: como está escrito, “Te he hecho padre de muchas naciones”; delante él en quien creyó; (eso es Dios, que da vida a los muertos y llama a las cosas que no son como si fueran); quien contra la esperanza creyó en la esperanza, que él podría convertirse en el padre de muchas naciones, de acuerdo a eso el cual se habló, “Así será tu simiente.” Y siendo no débil en la fe, no consideró su propio cuerpo ahora muerto, cuando él tenía como cien años; tampoco todavía la esterilidad de la matriz de Sara. No dudó de la promesa de Dios a través de la incredulidad, sino era fuerte en la fe, dando gloria a Dios; y siendo completamente persuadido, que lo que había prometido, también fue capaz de realizar; y por tanto, ello fue imputado a él por justicia”.

La Biblia no lo dice, pero supongamos que Abraham le hubiera dicho a otros que Dios le había prometido que algún día, ¡su descendencia sería tan numerosa como las estrellas del cielo! Sabes lo que dirían, ¿no? “¡Jajaja! ¡ESTÁS LOCO, Abraham! ¡Has perdido la cabeza!”

Eso es lo que escucho a menudo de los incrédulos hoy. Se burlan de Dios como una especie de “mago del cielo”; y afirmar que Él no existe! Solía creer cosas similares antes de ser salvado, así que entiendo completamente.

Pero Él existe, ¡Amén! Conozco al Señor Jesucristo desde hace casi 41 años desde 1982. Él es mi mejor amigo y mi Señor y Salvador, ¡Amén! Él es muy, muy real; ¡y Él esta viniendo de nuevo para juzgar este lugar inicuo!

2 Tesalonicenses 1:7-10: “Y a ustedes que estáis turbados, descansad con nosotros, cuando el Señor Jesús será revelado desde el Cielo con sus ángeles poderosos; en el fuego llameante tomando venganza de los que no conocen a Dios, y no obedecen al Evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo; quien será castigado con destrucción eterna desde la presencia del Señor y desde la gloria de su poder; cuando vendrá para ser glorificado en sus santos, y para ser admirado en todos los que creyeren en aquel día (porque nuestro testimonio entre ustedes fuera creído)”.

Si ni estás listo para encontrarte con el Señor Jesús cuando Él regrese o cuando mueras (lo que ocurra primero), ¡entonces tu futuro será grabado en piedra por los siglos de los siglos! No habrá esperanza para ti, porque te convertirás en parte de la horda de pecadores que gritan y lloran y que están encerrados en la horrible prisión del Infierno hasta el Juicio del Gran Trono Blanco; después de lo cual, serás arrojado al lago de fuego por los siglos de los siglos; ¡y NUNCA SALDRÁS!

¡Mahoma y el Islam NO son el Camino a Dios! ¡María no es el Camino a Jesús ni al Cielo! ¡La iglesia no puede salvarte!

Jesús dijo: “Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí”. Juan 14:6.

El Corán (17:111) dice que Alá no tiene hijo. ¡La Biblia está de acuerdo, porque el único Dios verdadero de la Biblia tiene un Hijo, y su Nombre es el Señor Jesucristo! ¡Por lo tanto, “alá” no es Dios!

Aun los demonios saben que Jehová Elohim tiene un Hijo, y lo reconocieron en Jesucristo:

Marcos 3:11: “Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo, “¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!”

I Juan 2:22-23: “¿Quién es el mentiroso, si no él que niegue que Jesús es el Cristo? Éste es Anticristo, el que niega la igualdad del Padre y del Hijo. Cualquiera que niega al Hijo, él no tiene al Padre; sino él que confiesa al Hijo también tiene al Padre”.

¡Tus buenas obras no son lo suficientemente buenas para salvarte!

Efesios 2:8-9: “Porque por gracia, habéis sido salvado permanentemente por medio de la fe, y esta fe no es desde ustedes; es don de Dios; no de nuestras propias obras, para que ningún hombre se jacte”.

Pero, si crees que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios; y si creéis que Jesús murió en la cruz por vuestros pecados, y resucitó de entre los muertos al tercer día; y si estás dispuesto a arrepentirte de tus pecados ahora y quieres ser salvado y tener un futuro en el Cielo cuando mueras, entonces puedes usar esta oración para recibir a Cristo como tu Salvador y ser salvado, ahora mismo. ¡Hoy es el día de salvación! ¡Mañana puede ser muy tarde!

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra TI. ¡No soy bueno y tú eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
