Volume 5 Introduction

The theme of this Chapter is “Look back to the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for your spiritual completion”:

This letter was written to the Jews of the first century who had been saved under the Old Covenant using the system of animal sacrifices in the Temple of Herod and the priesthood of Aaron and his sons.

But now that Christ had already atoned for the sins of the world on the cross of Calvary in 33 A.D., those Jews needed to move from the Old Covenant of repeated animal sacrifices to the New Covenant of Christ, which was based only on his sacrifice on the cross, which was finished and completed, once for all time: never to be repeated. This is a very important point, from which I will make applications in this study.

This process of moving from the Old to the New Covenant was one of completion for these Jews. They were already the children of God by faith! But they were incomplete in their faith without Christ as the center of their faith: it was time for them to grow up and embrace Christ, or be judged by Jehovah for their disobedience.

This letter was not written for anyone outside of this group of people; either they became followers of Christ (we know that some of them did), or they continued under the Old Covenant and were punished with death in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D.

We can apply many spiritual lessons for Christians today; but the interpretation of this letter belongs only to the Jews of the first century. Any other interpretation will lead you into doctrinal errors.

Now, let’s look at the flow of Chapter 1.3 to help us understand the context:

Chapter 1.3: Look back to the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for your spiritual completion (8:1 - 10:31)

§Complement Introduction: Jesus is the High Priest in Heaven of the New Covenant, which has replaced the Old Covenant (8:1 - 13)

¶Opposite Jesus is the High Priest of the true Tabernacle in Heaven with the responsibility to offer something to God the Father (8:1 - 5)

¶Opposite The Old Covenant was replaced by the New Covenant, because the Jews did not continue in it (8:6 - 13)

§Complement Body: Jesus fulfilled the type of the Day of Atonement with his sacrifice on the cross, once for all time (9:1 - 10:14)

¶Unique The Day of Atonement ceremony by the priest of Aaron was temporary, imperfect, and repeated every year (9:1 - 10)

¶Complement The New Covenant was dedicated by Christ once with his own blood (9:11 - 17)

¶Complement The Old Covenant was dedicated by Moses once with the blood of calves and goats (9:18 - 22)

¶Opposite Jesus entered into the Holy place as the High Priest with his blood to put away sin, once for all time (9:23 - 28)

¶Opposite Jesus became the final sacrifice for sin on the cross to replace the Old with the New Covenant (10:1 - 14)

§Unique Conclusion: Enter into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus or face the consequences of your rebellion against God (10:15 - 31)

¶Complement There is no need for another animal sacrifice for sin, so enter now into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus as a priest yourself (10:15 - 22)

¶Complement But if you continue offering animal sacrifices, you will soon face the consequences of your rebellion against God (10:23 - 31)

We continue our study of the Letter to the Hebrews, with the fourth paragraph in the Body section of Chapter 1.3.

I did some additional analysis, and I made some changes to the words in the themes for this study and for the conclusion, so it looks a little different; but it is basically the same as before; just more accurate.

In the previous studies in this chapter, the Apostle Paul prepared the way for the content in these two paragraphs.

As you can see in the outline above (based on the Golden Ratio design), the introduction summarized the content of the previous two chapters in Hebrews, showing that Christ was now the High Priest in Heaven in the True Tabernacle of God, not the copy, which was still in Jerusalem at the time of the writing of this letter.

In the first three paragraphs of the body section, Paul made it crystal clear that on the Day of Atonement in the Jewish calendar, the animal sacrifices that temporarily covered the sins of Israel were types of Christ; and that the death and suffering of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary fulfilled those types, so that now, there was no more need for those animal sacrifices to be offered.

In the last two paragraphs of the body section, Paul summarized his case to these Jews, before giving another warning to them in the Conclusion:

¶Opposite Jesus entered into the Holy place as the High Priest with his blood to put away sin, once for all time (9:23 - 28)

¶Opposite Jesus became the final sacrifice for sin on the cross to replace the Old with the New Covenant (10:1 - 14)

Notice how these two paragraphs oppose each other in their themes: Jesus entered into the Holy Place as the High priest in Heaven vs Jesus became the final sacrifice for sin on the cross.

In the following Chapter 1.4, Paul pleaded with these Jews to follow the footsteps of faith of their fathers: Abel, Noah, Abraham, Moses and all the prophets: who looked forward in faith to the coming Messiah, who now had arrived in the Person of Jesus Christ.

And in Chapter 1.5, Paul gave them a final warning of punishment to come from their Heavenly Father, if they failed to obey his will to embrace Christ as their Messiah.

¶Opposite Jesus entered into the Holy place as the High Priest with his blood to put away sin, once for all time (9:23 - 28)

Unique Therefore, it was necessary that the copies of things in the heavens should be purified with these animal sacrifices; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Complement For Christ has not entered into the holy places which were made with hands, which are the copies of the true;

Complement but into Heaven itself: now to appear in the presence of God for us.

Opposite Nor did he enter so that he might offer himself many times, as the high priest enters into the holy place every year with blood of others (otherwise he would have suffered many times since the creation of the universe). But now, once for all time in the consummation of the Ages, he has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Opposite And as it is appointed to men once to die (but after this the Judgment), so also Christ was offered once for all time to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for him, he shall appear the second time apart from sin unto salvation.

Comments: The first three subparagraphs are a summary of what has already been stated in Hebrews a number of times.

The last two paragraphs make some very interesting points:

1) Christ only offered Himself one time to suffer for our sins; and this occurred on the cross of Calvary in 30 A.D.

Now, what I have to say here is going to offend many Catholics, but I hope that you will understand that I am trying to help you to become untangled from a web of lies. This is not about you: it is about an evil religion that has destroyed and damned the souls of countless millions of people with their lies. Please read the following prayerfully and thoughtfully. I love you in the Lord and I only want to teach and preach the truth of God in the Scriptures.

The Roman Catholic popes claim that in the Mass, Christ is being offered yet again and again and again (thousands of times around the world every single day) as an “unbloody” sacrifice for sins. According to Catholic teaching, Christ is really and truly present in the Mass wafer after the priest says his magical words of “Hocus pocus.”

But what does the Bible say?

“Nor did he enter so that he might offer himself many times, as the high priest enters into the holy place every year with blood of others (OTHERWISE HE WOULD HAVE SUFFERED MANY TIMES since the creation of the universe). But now, ONCE FOR ALL TIME in the consummation of the Ages, HE HAS APPEARED TO PUT AWAY SIN BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF.

And as it is appointed to men once to die (but after this the Judgment), so also CHRIST WAS OFFERED ONCE FOR ALL TIME to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for him, he shall appear the second time apart from sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:25-28

“for BY A SINGLE OFFERING HE HAS PERFECTED INTO PERPETUITY THEM THAT ARE BEING SANCTIFIED.” Hebrews 10:14

Now we need to focus on the words of God very carefully, my Catholic friends! Please believe the Word of God rather than the false words of your priests and popes!

“ONCE FOR ALL TIME... HE HAS APPEARED TO PUT AWAY SIN BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF”, Hebrews 9:26

“CHRIST WAS OFFERED ONCE FOR ALL TIME”, Hebrews 9:27

“BY A SINGLE OFFERING HE HAS PERFECTED INTO PERPETUITY THEM THAT ARE BEING SANCTIFIED”! Hebrews 10:14

There is one Greek word that is translated as “once [for all time]”: “ἅπαξ”; it is used again and again in the letter to the Hebrews, and it means one thing only: "once for all time, never to be repeated!"

Do you see? The popes have lied and they have denied the sufficiency of the Finished Work of Christ on the cross! In other words, they claim that Christ didn’t do enough on the cross to save you: you must come to your “Mother Church” and trust them to do masses for you, and they will help you go to Heaven.

But they will also tell you that if you do everything that “the church” says, it will not be enough to save you. So the popes have stolen the Gospel of Christ from the people and made them trust in a system of works, that cannot save them from their sins. How sad!

They have changed the faith of Christ into a religion of works! They have changed the Bible and the ordinance of Communion into a repeated offering of Jesus, which the Bible says is impossible!

If Christ has been offered once for all time for sins, who gave the popes the authority to change the Bible and make Christ suffer thousands of times every day around the world in the Catholic mass? The answer is that God did not give any pope this authority! Shame on them! The Word of God is supreme over any word of any man who ever lived!

Romans 3:3-4: “But what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief nullify the faith of God? Certainly not; indeed, let God be true, but every man a liar! As it is written, “That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged.”

Psalm 119:89: “Forever, O Jehovah, your Word is established in Heaven.”

Psalm 33:11: “The Counsel of Jehovah stands forever; the thoughts of his heart to ALL generations.”

Matthew 5:17-19: Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy, but to fulfill: for truly I say to you, until Heaven and earth passes, not even one iota or one tittle shall pass from the Law, until all is fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least Commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Joshua 1:8: “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it: for only then shall you make your way prosperous, and only then shall you have good success.”

Psalm 1:1-2: “Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the Law of Jehovah; and in his Law does he meditate day and night.” Beware of anyone who tells you, “Listen to me, no matter what the Bible says. My words are better than the words of God.” This person is of the devil!

Secondly, if Christ must be offered again and again and again, then what Jesus did on the cross was not enough to save us! Now WE MUST DO SOMETHING to be saved, according to the popes. In fact, partaking in the Catholic mass is required, according to their teaching; if you cannot participate in the mass, then your soul is doomed to Hell (according to them). But on the other hand, they cannot say that if you do participate in the mass, that you will definitely go to Heaven!

This is because the Catholic religion teaches salvation by works: if you do everything that the pope and your priests tell you to do, you MIGHT make to Heaven, but you will probably go to Purgatory instead, where your sins will be punished for some unknown length of time or until you give money the priests to say masses for you so that you can “get out of jail” early.

But this is false! Not only does “Purgatory” not exist at all; but the Bible teaches that salvation is permanently obtained when we repent of our sins and place our complete trust for salvation in the Finished Work of Christ on the cross 2,000 years ago.

Romans 4:2-3: “For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to glory in. But not before God: for what does the Scripture say? Abraham “believed [in Jehovah]”; and his faith was credited to him for righteousness.”

Romans 5:1-2: “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in assurance of the glory of God.” Salvation is by faith alone, and cannot be obtained by works of any kind!

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been permanently saved through faith; and that faith is not out of yourselves: it is the gift of God; NOT OF OUR OWN WORKS, lest any man should boast.”

Titus 3:5-7: “Not by works of righteousness which we have done; but according to his mercy, he has saved us by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; so that, BEING JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE, we should be made heirs according to the assurance of Life into the Ages.”

If you have been born again through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, then your soul has been perfected into perpetuity with respect to your standing with God: you are a child of God and you will never be lost and go to Hell, because the Finished Work of Christ has made you perfect and complete in his eyes; Amen!

It is also true that when we sin, as a child of God, then God deals with us as one of his children with chastisement; but we are still his children! Our position (or standing) as a child of God was settled at the cross of Christ 2,000 years ago. When we receive Christ as our Savior, then we are perfected into perpetuity as a child and a saint of God. We are still imperfect IN OUR WALK and we still sin; but we cannot be lost and stop being a child of God: that cannot happen, ever, if we have been truly born again.

To understand the Biblical teaching of salvation, you must understand the difference between our POSITION and our WALK. We will discuss this further in the next study.

What is the true teaching of the Table of the Lord, or Communion? We partake of the bread and the grape juice (not wine, because wine has alcohol made from leaven, which is a picture of corruption and sin in the Bible) so that we might REMEMBER the Body of Christ that was sacrificed on the cross for our sins.

In other words, Jesus is not physically present in the bread and the grape juice: they are SYMBOLS of the Body and Blood of Jesus only! We remember what Christ did for us, and we rejoice and give thanks to God for his incredible gift to us that He made with his Finished Work on the cross for our sins. Amen!

I Corinthians 11:23-26: “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread; and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “Take, eat: this is a symbol of my body, which is broken for you; do this IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.”

After the same manner also he took the cup, after he had eaten, saying, “This cup is a symbol of the New Covenant in my blood; do this, as often as you drink it, IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.”

For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you are celebrating the death of the Lord until he comes again.”

“In remembrance of me” means that Jesus is not there physically! Certainly Jesus is there in Spirit, but He is not there in the flesh. So the Catholic mass is an abomination, my friends!

Christ was offered for sins one time only, in 30 A.D.!

The blood and body of Christ that He offered to God the Father on the cross of Calvary are sufficient to save us to the uttermost! We need nothing else to go to Heaven:

Hebrews 7:24-25: “But this Jesus, because he continues into the Ages, has an unchangeable Priesthood; therefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he always lives to make intercession for them.”

My friends, have nothing to do with a Catholic mass or a Catholic “church”: The entire mass ceremony is unbiblical and false. The bread and wine are only bread and wine and cannot save you or do anything to help you go to Heaven when you die. The priest has no power to change the bread and wine with magical words. The Holy Spirit never authorized the popes to change the Gospel of Christ into a religion of works; and none of the letters of the Apostles support Catholic teaching about the mass. And neither did Christ authorize the office of the pope! The scriptural offices of the churches are found in 1 Timothy 3:1ff. There is no salvation to be found in the Catholic church or the teachings of the popes. Mary cannot save you; only Jesus can save you! Amen.

Roman Catholic friend: Don’t let the popes and priests of Rome steal the Gospel of Christ from you! Salvation is free for the asking, if we come to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith in his Finished Work on the cross.

You cannot be saved by doing good works or taking the mass wafer or being baptized or being a good person! That will never work with God.

The only good works that Jesus will accept are his own good works, and your faith in his Finished Work of Salvation that He did on the cross for your sins!

Come boldly to the throne of grace right now, and receive his free gift of salvation! You don’t need Mary or the Saints to pray for you: go directly to Jesus right now to be saved.

Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.”

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, except through me.”

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for your sins on the cross almost 2,000 years ago and rose again from the dead, according to the Scriptures?

Do you understand that you are a sinner against God and that you deserve to go to Hell for your sins against Him?

If so, then it is easy to be saved, if you are willing to admit that you are a sinner before God, and if you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

Here is a prayer that you can use to be saved:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Esta carta fue escrita a los judíos del primer siglo que se habían salvado bajo el Antiguo Pacto usando el sistema de sacrificios de animales en el Templo de Herodes y el sacerdocio de Aarón y sus hijos.

¶Lo opuesto Jesús se ofreció como voluntario para convertirse en el sacrificio final por el pecado para siempre, de una vez por todas (10:1 - 14)

Note cómo estos dos párrafos se oponen entre sí en sus temas: Jesús entró en el Lugar Santo como Sumo Sacerdote en el Cielo versus Jesús se convirtió en el sacrificio final por el pecado en la cruz.

En el siguiente Capítulo 1.4, Pablo suplicaba a estos judíos que siguieran los pasos de fe de sus padres: Abel, Noé, Abraham, Moisés y todos los profetas: que esperaban con fe la venida del Mesías, que ahora había llegado en la Persona de Jesucristo.

Y en el Capítulo 1.5, Pablo les dio una advertencia final del castigo que vendría de su Padre Celestial, si no obedecían su voluntad de abrazar a Cristo como su Mesías.

¶Lo opuesto Jesús entró en el Lugar Santísimo en el Cielo con su sangre para quitar el pecado por el sacrificio de él mismo, una vez para todo el tiempo (9:23 - 28)

Único Por lo tanto, era necesario que las copias de las cosas en los cielos deben ser purificadas con estos sacrificios animales; pero las cosas celestiales mismas con mejores sacrificios que éstos.

El complemento Porque Cristo no ha entrado en los lugares santos que fueron hechos con manos, cuales son las copias de la verdad;

El complemento sino en el mismo Cielo: ahora para presentarse en la presencia de Dios por nosotros.

Lo opuesto Ni entró para que él pueda ofrecerse a sí mismo muchas veces, como entra el sumo sacerdote en el lugar santo cada año con sangre de otros (de lo contrario él habría sufrido muchas veces desde la creación del universo). Pero ahora, una vez para todo el tiempo, en la consumación de los siglos, él ha aparecido para quitar el pecado por el sacrificio de sí mismo.

Lo opuesto Y como está designado que los hombres mueran una sola vez (pero después de esto el Juicio); así también Cristo fue ofrecido una vez para todo el tiempo para llevar los pecados de muchos; y para los que le buscan, él aparecerá la segunda vez aparte del pecado para salvación.

Comentarios: Los primeros tres subpárrafos son un resumen de lo que ya se ha dicho en Hebreos varias veces.

Los últimos dos párrafos hacen algunos puntos muy interesantes:

1) Cristo se ofreció una sola vez para sufrir por nuestros pecados; y esto ocurrió en la cruz del Calvario en el año 30 d.C.

Ahora, lo que tengo que decir aquí va a ofender a muchos católicos, pero espero que entiendan que estoy intentando ayudarte a llegar a ser libre desde una red de mentiras. Esto no se trata de ti: se trata de una religión malvada que ha destruido y condenado las almas de incontables millones de personas con sus mentiras. Por favor, lea lo siguiente con oración y consideración. Os amo en el señor y solo quiero enseñar y predicar la verdad de Dios en las Escrituras.

Los papas católicos romanos afirman que en la Misa, Cristo está siendo ofrecido una y otra vez (miles de veces en todo el mundo todos los días) como un sacrificio “sin sangre” por los pecados. Según la enseñanza católica, Cristo está real y verdaderamente presente en la hostia de la Misa después de que el sacerdote dice sus palabras mágicas de “Hocus pocus”.

Pero, ¿qué dice la Biblia?

“porque CON UNA SOLA OFRENDA ÉL HA PERFECCIONADO PARA PERPETUIDAD A LOS QUE ESTÁN SIENDO SANTIFICADOS.” Hebreos 10:14

¡Ahora necesitamos enfocarnos en las palabras de Dios con mucho cuidado, mis amigos católicos! ¡Por favor cree a la Palabra de Dios en lugar de las falsas palabras de tus sacerdotes y papas!

“UNA VEZ PARA TODO EL TIEMPO... ÉL HA APARECIDO PARA QUITAR EL PECADO POR EL SACRIFICIO DE SÍ MISMO”, Hebreos 9:26

“CRISTO FUE OFRECIDO UNA VEZ PARA TODO EL TIEMPO”, Hebrews 9:27

“CON UNA SOLA OFRENDA ÉL HA PERFECCIONADO PARA PERPETUIDAD A LOS QUE ESTÁN SIENDO SANTIFICADOS”! Hebreos 10:14

Hay una palabra griega que se traduce como “una vez [para todo el tiempo]”: “ἅπαξ”; se usa una y otra vez en la carta a los Hebreos, y significa una sola cosa: "¡una vez para todo tiempo, ¡para no repetirse jamás!"

¿Lo ves? ¡Los papas han mentido y han negado la suficiencia de la Obra Terminada de Cristo en la cruz! En otras palabras, afirman que Cristo no hizo lo suficiente en la cruz para salvarte: debes venir a tu “Iglesia Madre” y confiar en ellos para que hagan misas por ti, y ellos te ayudarán a ir al Cielo.

Pero también te dirán que si haces todo lo que dice “la iglesia”, no será suficiente para salvarte. Entonces los papas han robado el Evangelio de Cristo de la gente y les han hecho confiar en un sistema de obras, que no puede salvarlos de sus pecados. ¡Qué triste!

¡Han cambiado la Biblia y la ordenanza de la Comunión en una ofrenda repetida de Jesús, lo cual la Biblia dice que es imposible!

Si Cristo ha sido ofrecido una vez para siempre por los pecados, ¿quién dio a los papas la autoridad para cambiar la Biblia y hacer sufrir a Cristo miles de veces cada día en todo el mundo en la misa católica? ¡La respuesta es que Dios no le dio a ningún papa esta autoridad! ¡Vergüenza en ellos! ¡La Palabra de Dios es suprema sobre cualquier palabra de cualquier hombre que haya vivido!

Romanos 3:3-4: “¿Pero, ¿y si algunos no creyeran? ¿Será la incredulidad de ellos anulará la fe de Dios? ¡Ciertamente no; de verdad, deja que Dios sea verdadero, pero todo hombre un mentiroso! Como está escrito, “Para que tú seáis justificados en tus dichos, y podrías superar cuando seas juzgado.”

Salmo 119:89: “Para siempre, oh Jehová, tu Palabra está establecida en el Cielo.”

Salmo 33:11: “El Consejo de Jehová permanece para siempre; los pensamientos de su corazón a TODAS las generaciones.”

Mateo 5:17-19: Jesus said, ““Ni penséis que he venido a destruir la Ley, o los Profetas. No he venido a destruir, sino a cumplir: porque verdaderamente os digo, hasta el Cielo y la tierra pasan, ni siquiera uno jota o una tilde pasará de la Ley, hasta que todo se cumpla. Por lo tanto, cualquiera quien romperá uno de estos Mandamientos muy pequeños, y enseñará a los hombres así, él será llamado el más pequeño en el Reino del Cielo. Pero cualquiera que los hará y los enseñará, lo mismo será llamado grande en el Reino del Cielo.”

Josué 1:8: “Este Libro de la Ley nunca se apartará de tu boca; sino meditaréis en ella día y noche, para que observéis hacer conforme a todo lo que está escrito en ella: porque sólo entonces harás que tu camino sea próspero, y sólo entonces tendréis buen éxito.”

Salmo 1:1-2: “Bienaventurado es el varón que no anda en consejo del impío, ni se pone de pie en camino de pecadores, ni se sienta en silla de escarnecedores. Pero en la Ley de Jehová es su delicia; y en su Ley medita de día y de noche.”

Cuidado con cualquiera que te diga: “Escúchame, no importa lo que diga la Biblia. Mis palabras son mejores que las palabras de Dios.” ¡Esta persona es del diablo!

En segundo lugar, si Cristo debe ser ofrecido una y otra vez, ¡entonces lo que Jesús hizo en la cruz no fue suficiente para salvarnos! Ahora DEBEMOS HACER ALGO para ser salvados, según los papas. De hecho, se requiere participar en la misa católica, según su enseñanza; si ni puedes o no quieres participar en la misa, entonces tu alma está condenada al infierno (según ellos). Pero, por otro lado, no pueden decir si participas en la misa, ¡definitivamente irás al Cielo!

Esto se debe a que la religión católica enseña la salvación por obras: si haces todo lo que el Papa y tus sacerdotes te dicen que hagas, PODRÍAS ir al Cielo, pero probablemente irás al Purgatorio en su lugar, donde tus pecados serán castigados por un período de tiempo desconocido o hasta que les des dinero a los sacerdotes para que digan misas por ti para que puedas “salir de la cárcel” temprano.

¡Pero esto es falso! No solo el “Purgatorio” no existe en absoluto; pero la Biblia enseña que la salvación se obtiene permanentemente cuando nos arrepentimos de nuestros pecados y ponemos nuestra completa confianza para la salvación en la Obra Terminada de Cristo en la cruz hace 2000 años.

Romanos 4:2-3: “Porque si Abraham fue justificado por las obras, tiene algo de lo que gloriarse. Pero no delante Dios: porque ¿qué dice la Escritura? Abraham “creyó en [Jehová]; y su fe fue acreditada a él por justicia.””

Romanos 5:1-2: “Por lo tanto, siendo justificados por la fe, tenemos paz con Dios a través de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo, por quien también tenemos acceso por fe en a esta gracia en la cual estamos firmes, y nos gloriamos en la certeza de la gloria de Dios.”

¡La salvación es sola por fe, y no puede obtenerse por obras de ningún tipo!

Efesios 2:8-9: “Porque por gracia habéis sido salvado permanentemente por medio de la fe, y esta fe no es desde ustedes; es don de Dios; NO DE NUESTRAS PROPIAS OBRAS para que no nadie se jacte.”

Tito 3:5-7: “No por obras de justicia cual hayamos hecho, sino según su misericordia nos ha salvado, por el lavamiento de la regeneración y de la renovación del Espíritu Santo; cual él derramó en nosotros abundantemente mediante Jesús Cristo nuestro Salvador; de modo que, SIENDO JUSTIFICADO POR SU GRACIA, deberíamos ser hechos herederos de acuerdo con la seguridad de Vida eterna.”

Si has nacido de nuevo mediante el arrepentimiento y la fe en el Señor Jesucristo, entonces tu alma se ha perfeccionado hasta perpetuidad con respecto a tu posición ante Dios: tú eres un hijo de Dios y nunca te perderás e irás al Infierno, porque la Obra terminada de Cristo te ha hecho perfecto y completo a sus ojos; ¡Amén!

También es cierto que cuando pecamos, como hijos de Dios, entonces Dios nos trata como a uno de sus hijos con castigo; ¡pero aún somos sus hijos! Nuestra posición como hijos de Dios se estableció en la cruz de Cristo hace 2000 años. Cuando recibimos a Cristo como nuestro Salvador, somos perfeccionados hasta perpetuidad como hijos y santos de Dios. Todavía somos imperfectos en nuestro andar, y todavía pecamos; pero no podemos estar perdidos y dejar de ser hijos de Dios: eso no puede suceder, jamás, si verdaderamente hemos nacido de nuevo.

Para comprender la enseñanza bíblica de la salvación, debe comprender la diferencia entre nuestra POSICIÓN y nuestro CAMINAR. Hablaremos de esto más adelante en el próximo estudio.

¿Cuál es la verdadera enseñanza de la Mesa del Señor, o Comunión? Participamos del pan y del jugo de uva (no del vino, porque el vino tiene alcohol hecho de levadura, que es una imagen de corrupción y pecado en la Biblia) para que podamos ACORDAR el Cuerpo de Cristo que fue sacrificado en la cruz por nuestros pecados.

En otras palabras, Jesús no está físicamente presente en el pan y el jugo de uva: ¡son SÍMBOLOS del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Jesús solamente! Recordamos lo que Cristo hizo por nosotros, y nos regocijamos y damos gracias a Dios por el increíble regalo que nos hizo con su Obra terminada en la cruz por nuestros pecados. ¡Amén!

I Corintios 11:23-26: “Porque yo recibí del Señor lo que también os he entregado, que el Señor Jesús, la misma noche en que fue traicionado, tomó pan; y habiendo dado gracias, lo partió, y dijo, “Tomad, comed; esto es un símbolo de mi cuerpo, cual está roto para usted; haced esto EN MEMORIA DE MÍ.” Asimismo tomó también la copa, después de haber comido, diciendo, “Esta copa es un símbolo del Nuevo Pacto en mi sangre; haced esto tan a menudo como lo bebiereis, EN MEMORIA DE MÍ.” Porque todas las veces que comiereis este PAN, y bebiereis esta copa, la muerte del Señor anunciáis hasta que Él venga.”

“EN MEMORIA DE MÍ” ¡Significa que Jesús no está allí físicamente! Ciertamente, Jesús está allí en Espíritu, pero no está allí en la carne. ¡Así que la misa católica es una abominación, amigos míos!

¡Cristo fue ofrecido por los pecados una sola vez, en el año 30 d.C.!

¡La sangre y el cuerpo de Cristo que Él ofreció a Dios Padre en la cruz del Calvario son suficientes para salvarnos hasta lo sumo! No necesitamos nada más para ir al Cielo:

Hebreos 7:24-25: “pero este Jesús, porque continúa hasta las edades, tiene un sacerdocio inmutable; por lo tanto, él también puede salvarlos hasta el máximo los que vienen a Dios a través de él, al ver que siempre vive para hacer intercesión por ellos.”

Mis amigos, ni tengan nada que ver con una misa católica o una “iglesia” católica: toda la ceremonia de la misa no es bíblica y es falsa. El pan y el vino son solos pan y vino y no pueden salvarte ni hacer nada para ayudarte a ir al Cielo cuando mueras. El sacerdote no tiene poder para cambiar el pan y el vino con palabras mágicas. El Espíritu Santo nunca autorizó a los papas a cambiar el Evangelio de Cristo en una religión de obras; y ninguna de las cartas de los Apóstoles apoyan la enseñanza católica sobre la misa. ¡Y Cristo tampoco autorizó el oficio del Papa! Los oficios bíblicos de las iglesias se encuentran en 1 Timoteo 3:1ss. Ni se puede encontrar salvación en la iglesia católica o en las enseñanzas de los papas. María no puede salvarte; ¡solo Jesús puede salvarte! Amén.

Amigo Católico Romano: ¡No dejes que los papas y sacerdotes de Roma te roben el Evangelio de Cristo! La salvación y el perdón de los pecados es gratis con sólo pedirlo, si venimos a Jesucristo en arrepentimiento y fe en su Obra terminada en la cruz.

¡Ni puedes ser salvado haciendo buenas obras o tomando la hostia de la misa o siendo bautizado o siendo una buena persona! Eso nunca funcionará con Dios.

¡Las únicas buenas obras que Jesús aceptará son sus propias buenas obras, y tu fe en su Obra Terminada de Salvación que Él hizo en la cruz por sus pecados!

¡Ven con valentía al trono de la gracia ahora mismo, y recibe su regalo gratuito de salvación! No necesitas que María o los Santos oren por ti: ve directamente a Jesús ahora mismo para ser salvado.

Hechos 4:12: “Tampoco hay salvación en ningún otro: porque no hay otro Nombre bajo del Cielo, dado entre los hombres, por cual debemos ser salvados.”

Juan 3:16: “porque Dios amó tanto al mundo, que él dio a su Hijo unigénito, que cualquiera que cree en él no deberían perecer, sino tener Vida Eterna.”

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, “Soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.”

¿Crees que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios, que murió por tus pecados en la cruz hace casi 2000 años y resucitó de entre los muertos, según las Escrituras?

Si es así, entonces es fácil ser salvado, si está dispuesto a admitir que es un pecador ante Dios, y si desea recibir a Jesucristo como su Salvador personal.

Aquí hay una oración que puedes usar para ser salvado:

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra TI. ¡No soy bueno y tú eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
