We continue our study of the Letter to the Hebrews, with the first three paragraphs in the Body section of Chapter 1.3.

The theme of this Chapter is “Look back to the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for your spiritual completion”: I have explained in previous studies that the letter to the Hebrews was focused exclusively on reaching the Jewish believers under the Old Covenant in the first century, who were already saved; but now that the door to God was closed through the system of animal sacrifices in the Temple, God wanted them to move to embrace Christ as their Messiah to become complete Jews.

Today, Jews and Gentiles also look back to Christ; however, not to be complete, but to be saved! But that is the message of the letter to the Romans, not to the Hebrews. We must keep this in mind as we study Hebrews, or we will not understand this important letter.

Comments: The first three paragraphs in the Body section are the core of this chapter. In it, the Apostle Paul explained how the animal sacrifices on the Day of Atonement were a type of Christ, which He fulfilled with his Finished Work on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity.

¶Unique The Day of Atonement ceremony by the priest of Aaron was temporary, imperfect, and repeated every year (9:1 - 10)

¶Complement The New Covenant was dedicated by Christ once with his own blood (9:11 - 17)

¶Complement The Old Covenant was dedicated by Moses once with the blood of calves and goats (9:18 - 22)

In chapters 1.1 and 1.2, the Apostle had already prepared his readers among the Jews to understand that Christ was the new High Priest according to Melchizedek who had replaced the high priesthood of Aaron.

Now in chapter 1.3, Paul showed them how Christ was not only the High Priest; but also, he had become the fulfillment of the offering of the High Priest on the Day of Atonement!

Notice also the Golden Ratio design of these paragraphs: the paragraphs have the one unique, two complements design.

The unique paragraph has the internal design of two opposites, two complements, and one unique; and both of the following paragraphs are complements to each other, so their internal Golden Ratio design is the same: one unique, two complements, and two opposites.

§Complement Body: Jesus fulfilled the type of the Day of Atonement with his sacrifice on the cross, once for all time (9:1 - 10:14)

¶Unique The Day of Atonement ceremony by the priest of Aaron was temporary, imperfect, and repeated every year (9:1 - 10)

Opposite Then, truly, the First Covenant also had ordinances of divine service, and an earthly Sanctuary: for a Tabernacle was made: the first, in which was the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread, which is called the Holy Place.

Opposite And after the second veil, the Tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all, which had the golden censer, and the Ark of the Covenant overlaid all over with gold; in which was the golden pot that had manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the Covenant; and over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy seat: of which we cannot now speak particularly.

Complement Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests always went into the first Tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

Complement But into the second went the high priest alone once every year; but not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people.

Unique The Holy Spirit signifying by this, that the way into the Holiest of all had not yet been revealed, while the first Tabernacle was still standing; which was a copy for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience, which stood only in food and drinks, and various washings and fleshly ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Comments: There were two Tabernacles within the Temple: the outer Tabernacle was accessible throughout the year by the priests for duties such as replacing the showbread and keeping the candlestick lighted.

But the inner Tabernacle (the holiest of all) was where the presence of God Almighty dwelt continually over the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. The high priests of Aaron were strictly forbidden to enter except on the one high day of the year: the Day of Atonement. That day was so important that all Israel would come to worship before Jehovah God and pray for the forgiveness of their sins as a nation.

If the high priest of Aaron made an error during this ceremony, Jehovah could kill him immediately for his error, depending on what it was. For that reason, the robe of the high priest had golden bells on the hem of it. The people would wait outside and listen carefully to the sound of the bells; if they stopped ringing, then they would pull his body out of the Tabernacle with a rope tied around his foot, because they were terrified of what might happen to them if they approached God Almighty themselves!

So this was a very serious and solumn rite that was observed by all Israel under the Old Covenant.

The Old Covenant way to approach Jehovah God was very risky and filled with terror! But under the New Covenant today, we can approach Jehovah God through the Lord Jesus Christ, with our hearts filled with the assurance that Jesus is always waiting to receive us with open arms, as long as we come in repentance and faith in Him! Amen.

It should go without saying that the “time of reformation” mentioned here is not the Protestant Reformation, naturally; but the New Covenant that began with the crucifixion, atonement for all sins, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

¶Complement The New Covenant was dedicated by Christ once with his own blood (9:11 - 17)

Unique But Christ, having come forth a High Priest of good things to come, through a greater and more perfect Tabernacle not made with hands (that is to say, not of this building); neither with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood he entered in once into the Holy Place, having already obtained Eternal Redemption for us.

Complement For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the Eternal Spirit offered himself without spot unto God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Complement And for this reason, he is the Mediator of the New Covenant: that by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the First Covenant, they who are called might receive the promise of Eternal inheritance.

Opposite For where there is a will, there must also of necessity be the death of the who made the will: for a will has force after men are dead;

Opposite otherwise it has no strength at all while the one making the will is alive.

Comments: This second paragraph complements the third paragraph as shown in the themes of each one.

The New Covenant was dedicated (or, initiated) by Christ once with his own blood. The word “once” is the Greek word “hapax”, which means “once for all time, never to be repeated”!

You should do a study of the word “once” in the letter to the Hebrews, because the word is always “hapax”. You will learn a great deal of good theology that will help you. We are studying Hebrews paragraph by paragraph, so I won’t do that here. But I will mention this word as the occasion is presented.

Once again, Paul explained that Christ had taken his own blood into the Holy Place in Heaven, which is the True Temple of God where God the Father dwells.

Christ had already obtained Eternal Redemption for us on the cross of Calvary, but He needed to execute his ministry as High Priest in Heaven with his own Blood to complete his Finished Work, so that his Blood would remain before God in Heaven forever and ever, always there to speak of his Finished Work to atone for our sins forever, to give us Eternal Security in his precious Blood! Amen. We cannot be lost if we have put our faith and trust completely and only in his Blood that He shed on the cross for our sins!

But, if we have put our trust in anything else, such as our good works, our church membership, our money, our baptism in water, then He will have to reject us from Heaven when we die; and He will have no choice but to put us in Hell; and later, the Lake of Fire forever and ever. I pray that you will put your trust in the Finished Work of Jesus before it is eternally too late for you.

Now I want to explain two words in this text that may cause some confusion. Many Bible versions like the KJV use the word “testament” and “testator” in Hebrews 9:16, which are accurate; however there is a problem with those words in the context of Bible versions that use “New Testament” and “Old Testament”.

The word “testament” is translated from the Greek “diatheke”, which can mean either “a Covenant” or “a Will”.

One definition says,

“A last will and testament is a legal document that communicates a person’s final wishes pertaining to their assets.”

As the text says, a will (or, a Testament) is not in effect until the person who made the will (the testator) has died. This is the meaning of this text.

The word “Testament” should not be confused with “Old Testament” or “New Testament”, because those terms refer to a group of documents in the Bible in most other versions, which are not used in the Kingdom Study Bible, because they are not Biblical. A complete study of those terms will require a different study. I have discussed why they are not Biblical in the preface to the Kingdom Study Bible in PDF (page 319), which is available for free download on my website.

Paul was making a comparison of a will and the death of the person who made the will (the testator) to the Lord Jesus Christ and his death on the cross for our sins.

In the same manner as a will, the New Covenant was not in effect until Christ died on the cross for our sins! Christ was both the God on Mount Sinai who made the New Covenant with the Jews (the Testator, if you will), AND He became the sacrifice that sealed the New Covenant with his Blood on the cross for our sins!

Jehovah God made the Old Covenant with Moses and the children of Israel on Mount Sinai (Exodus 20:1-17). This appearance of Jehovah God on the mountain top in fire and smoke was a pre-incarnate appearance of the Word of God (the second Person of the Trinity): He made the Old Covenant with them; and Moses sealed that Covenant with the blood of animals (Hebrews 9:18-21).

Jehovah God also made the New Covenant with the Jews:

Jeremiah 31:31-32: “Behold, the days are coming,’ says Jehovah, ‘that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah; not according to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my Covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them,’ says Jehovah.”

But this time, Jehovah God sealed that Covenant with his own Blood on the cross of Calvary!

Genesis 22:7-8: “And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, “My father”; and he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold the fire and the wood; but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” And Abraham said, “My son, GOD WILL PROVIDE HIMSELF A LAMB for a burnt offering.”

Acts 20:28: “Therefore take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock (over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers), to shepherd the Assembly of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.”

Praise the Lord! AMEN!!!!

¶Complement The Old Covenant was dedicated by Moses once with the blood of calves and goats (9:18 - 22)

Unique Therefore, even the First Covenant was not dedicated without blood: for when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop; and he sprinkled both the Book and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the Covenant which God has commanded to you.”

Complement Also, he sprinkled with blood both the Tabernacle,

Complement and all the vessels of the ministry.

Opposite And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood.

Opposite And without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.

Comments: Finally, the third paragraph explains that Moses also dedicated (or initiated) the Old Covenant with a sacrifice of blood; in this case, it was a sacrifice of calves and goats. And he sprinkled both the people and the Book, along with the Tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the Tabernacle, with the blood.

Opposite And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood.

Opposite And without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.

Now, my friends, this is an extremely important text in the Bible; and I hope that you will never forget it!

“Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin!”

Liberal false teachers will attack this teaching as “the old time bloody religion” or something similar; and I say, “AMEN and AMEN”!

Satan and his demons HATE the Blood of Jesus! He does everything that he possibly can to discount, discredit, and persuade people to stay away from the Blood of Jesus that He shed for us on the cross, because the Blood of Jesus is what destroys the power of Satan! Satan was defeated at the cross of Jesus because of the Blood!

Leviticus 17:11: Jehovah said, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.”

Hebrews 9:13-14: “For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the Eternal Spirit offered himself without spot unto God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

1 Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? [Chorus]

2 Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Do you rest each moment in the Crucified? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? [Chorus]

3 When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright, And be washed in the blood of the Lamb? [Chorus]

4 Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin, And be washed in the blood of the Lamb; There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean, O be washed in the blood of the Lamb! [Chorus]

Chorus: Are you washed in the blood, In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? (Hymn “Are you washed in the Blood”)

Born again Believer in Jesus Christ: Do not let Satan steal the precious doctrine of the Blood of Jesus Christ from you! False “pastors” and “preachers” love to disparage and disrespect the Blood of Christ, because they do not know Him! If your pastor does not understand the Biblical doctrine of the Blood of Christ, you should find a Bible-believing church to attend.

Claim the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ every day in prayer, and claim the Name and the Blood of Jesus to defend yourself from Satan and his demons and drive them away! The very mention of the Blood of Christ makes them tremble in terror!

Believers in Christ are sanctified and cleansed by the Blood of Christ. We need it every day to be holy and cleansed from our sins.

I John 1:7: “But if we walk in the Light, as he is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another; and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son constantly cleanses us from all sin.”

We can receive his cleansing from sin by repentance from sin and faith in his Finished Work of Salvation on the cross for our sins.

Religion cannot save you! External obedience to a system of religion (Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Roman Catholicism etc) cannot save a single person from going to Hell; and it never will!

Only the Lord Jesus Christ can save you, whether you are a Jew or a Gentile, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, atheist, or Roman Catholic! He came to Earth to shed his blood on the cross, so that you and I might have Eternal Life, if we repent of our sins and place our trust for Eternal life ONLY in Him. No religion of any kind or false god has any power to forgive your sins and make you a child of God forever. Mary cannot do that; the saints cannot do that; Mohammad cannot do that; Buddha cannot do that; only Jesus can do that!

Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.”

John 14:6: “Jesus says to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, except through me.”

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for your sins on the cross almost 2,000 years ago and rose again from the dead, according to the Scriptures?

Do you understand that you are a sinner against God and that you deserve to go to Hell for your sins against Him?

If so, then it is easy to be saved, if you are willing to admit that you are a sinner before God, and if you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

Here is a prayer that you can use to be saved:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against YOU. I am no good, and you are righteous! You are my only hope for salvation! I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, you were buried, and you rose again from the dead on the third day. I want you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart right now. Forgive me for all my sins, and save my soul. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

Continuamos nuestro estudio de la Carta a los Hebreos, con los tres primeros párrafos en la sección Cuerpo del Capítulo 1.3.

He explicado en estudios anteriores que la carta a los Hebreos estaba enfocada exclusivamente en llegar a los creyentes judíos bajo el Antiguo Pacto en el primer siglo, quienes ya eran salvados; pero ahora que la puerta a Dios estaba cerrada a través del sistema de sacrificios de animales en el Templo, Dios quería que ellos pasaran a abrazar a Cristo como su Mesías para convertirse en judíos completos.

Hoy, judíos y gentiles también miran atrás a Cristo; sin embargo, no para estar completos, ¡sino para ser salvados! Pero ese es el mensaje de la carta a los Romanos, no a los Hebreos. Debemos tener esto en mente mientras estudiamos Hebreos, o no entenderemos esta importante carta.

Comentarios: Los tres primeros párrafos de la sección Cuerpo son el núcleo de este capítulo. Lo opuesto Entonces, verdaderamente, el Primer Pacto también tenía ordenanzas del servicio divino y un Santuario terrenal: porque un Tabernáculo fue hecha: el primero, en cual estaba el candelero, la mesa y el pan de la proposición, cual se llama el Lugar Santo.

Lo opuesto Y después del segundo velo, el Tabernáculo cual se llama el más santo de todos; cual tenía el incensario de oro, y el Arca de la Pacto cubierta completamente con oro; en la cual era la olla de oro que tenía maná, la vara de Aarón que brotó, y las tablas del Pacto; y encima ello los querubines de gloria que cubrían el propiciatorio con las sombras: de cual no podemos hablar ahora en particular.

El complemento Ahora, cuando estas cosas fueron así ordenadas, los sacerdotes siempre entraban en el primer Tabernáculo, cumpliendo el servicio de Dios.

El complemento Pero dentro el segundo, el sumo sacerdote fue solo; pero no sin sangre, cual él ofreció por sí mismo y por los errores del pueblo.

Único El Espíritu Santo significando por este, que el camino al Lugar Santísimo aún no había sido revelado, mientras el primer Tabernáculo aún estaba en pie; cual fue una copia para el tiempo presente, en el que se ofrecían ofrendas y sacrificios, que no pudo hacer a él perfecto que hizo el servicio, en cuanto a la conciencia, al que servía con ellos; que consistía únicamente en comidas y bebidas, y varios lavamientos y ordenanzas carnales, impuesto sobre ellos hasta el momento de la reforma.

Comentarios: Había dos Tabernáculos dentro del Templo: los sacerdotes podían acceder al Tabernáculo exterior durante todo el año para tareas tales como reemplazar el pan de exposición y mantener encendido el candelabro.

Pero el Tabernáculo interior (el más santo de todos) era donde la presencia de Dios Todopoderoso moraba continuamente sobre el propiciatorio del Arca del Pacto. Los sacerdotes sumos de Aarón se les prohibía estrictamente entrar excepto en el único día alto del año: el Día de la Expiación. Ese día era tan importante que todo Israel vendría a adorar ante Jehová Dios y orar por el perdón de sus pecados como nación.

Si el sumo sacerdote de Aarón cometía un error durante esta ceremonia, Jehová podía matarlo inmediatamente por su error, según cuál fuera. Por esa razón, la túnica del sumo sacerdote tenía campanillas de oro en el borde. La gente esperaba afuera y escuchaba atentamente el sonido de las campanas; si dejaban de tocar, entonces sacarían su cuerpo del Tabernáculo con una cuerda atada alrededor de su pie, ¡porque estaban aterrorizados de lo que podría pasarles si ellos mismos se acercaban a Dios Todopoderoso!

Así que este fue un rito muy serio y solemne que fue observado por todo Israel bajo el Antiguo Pacto.

¡La manera del Antiguo Pacto de acercarse a Jehová Dios era muy arriesgada y llena de terror! Pero bajo el Nuevo Pacto de hoy, podemos acercarnos a Jehová Dios a través del Señor Jesucristo, con nuestros corazones llenos de la seguridad que Jesús siempre está esperando con recibirnos con los brazos abiertos, ¡siempre que vengamos en arrepentimiento y fe en Él! Amén.

No hace falta decir que el “tiempo de la reforma” mencionado aquí no es la Reforma protestante, naturalmente; sino el Nuevo Pacto que comenzó con la crucifixión, expiación por todos los pecados, sepultura y resurrección de Cristo.

¶El complemento El Nuevo Pacto fue dedicado por Cristo una vez con su propia sangre (9:11 - 17)

Único Pero Cristo, habiendo salido un Sumo Sacerdote de los bienes venideros, a través de un Tabernáculo más grande y más perfecto no hecho con las manos, (es decir, no de este edificio); ni con la sangre de cabras y terneros, pero con su propia sangre él entró una vez en al Lugar Santo, habiendo obtenido ya Eterna Redención para nosotros.

El complemento Porque si la sangre de los toros y de las cabras, y las cenizas de una novilla espolvoreando a los contaminados, santifica para la purificación de la carne, ¿cuánto más la sangre de Cristo (quien a través del Espíritu Eterno se ofreció sin mancha hasta Dios) purgará tu conciencia desde las obras muertas para servir al Dios viviente?

El complemento Y por esta razón, él es el Mediador del Nuevo Pacto, que por medio de la muerte para la redención de las transgresiones que estaban bajo el Primer Pacto, aquellos que son llamados podrían recibir la promesa de la herencia Eterna.

Lo opuesto Porque donde hay un testamento, también es necesario que haya muerte del que hizo el testamento: porque un testamento tiene fuerza después de la muerte de los hombres;

Lo opuesto de lo contrario, ello no tiene ninguna fuerza mientras el que hace el testamento está vivo.

Comentarios: Este segundo párrafo complementa al tercer párrafo como se muestra en los temas de cada uno.

El Nuevo Pacto fue dedicado (o iniciado) por Cristo una vez con su propia sangre. ¡La palabra “una vez” es la palabra griega “hapax”, que significa “una vez para todo el tiempo: para nunca repetirse”!

Deberías hacer un estudio de la palabra “una vez” en la carta a los Hebreos, porque la palabra griega siempre es “hapax”. Aprenderás una gran cantidad de buena teología que te ayudará. Estamos estudiando Hebreos párrafo por párrafo, así que no lo haré aquí. Pero mencionaré esta palabra cuando se presente la ocasión.

Una vez más, Pablo explicó que Cristo había llevado su propia sangre al Lugar Santo en el Cielo, que es el Verdadero Templo de Dios donde mora Dios Padre.

Cristo ya había obtenido la Redención Eterna para nosotros en la cruz del Calvario, pero necesitaba ejecutar su ministerio como Sumo Sacerdote en el Cielo con su propia Sangre para completar su Obra Terminada, para que su Sangre permaneciera ante Dios en el Cielo por los siglos de los siglos: ¡siempre allí para hablar de su Obra Terminada para expiar nuestros pecados para siempre, para darnos Seguridad Eterna en su Sangre preciosa! Amén. ¡No podemos estar perdidos si hemos puesto nuestra fe y confianza completamente y solo en su Sangre que Él derramó en la cruz por nuestros pecados!

Pero, si hemos puesto nuestra confianza en cualquier otra cosa, como nuestras buenas obras, nuestra membresía en la iglesia, nuestro dinero, nuestro bautismo en agua, entonces Él tendrá que rechazarnos del Cielo cuando muramos; y Él no tendrá más remedio que ponernos en el Infierno; y después, el Lago de Fuego por los siglos de los siglos. Oro para que pongas tu confianza en la Obra Terminada de Jesús antes de que sea eternamente demasiado tarde para ti.

Lo opuesto Porque donde hay un testamento, también es necesario que haya muerte del que hizo el testamento: porque un testamento tiene fuerza después de la muerte de los hombres;

Lo opuesto de lo contrario, no tiene fuerza en absoluto mientras el que hace el testamento está vivo.

Ahora quiero explicar dos palabras en este texto que pueden causar cierta confusión. Muchas versiones de la Biblia como la KJV usan la palabra “testamento” y “testador” en Hebreos 9:16, que son precisas; sin embargo, hay un problema con esas palabras en el contexto de las versiones de la Biblia que usan “Nuevo Testamento” y “Antiguo Testamento”.

La palabra “testamento” se traduce del griego “diatheke”, que puede significar tanto “un Pacto” o “una Voluntad”.

Una definición dice:

“Una última voluntad y testamento es un documento legal que comunica los deseos finales de una persona con respecto a sus bienes”.

Como dice el texto, un testamento (o un testamento) no entra en vigor hasta que la persona que hizo el testamento (el testador) ha muerto. Este es el significado de este texto.

La palabra “Testamento” no debe confundirse con “Antiguo Testamento” o “Nuevo Testamento”, porque esos términos se refieren a un grupo de documentos en la Biblia en la mayoría de las otras versiones, que no se usan en El Reino Estudio Biblia (REB), porque no son bíblicos. Un estudio completo de esos términos requerirá un estudio diferente. He discutido por qué no son bíblicos en el prefacio al Reino Estudio Biblia (REB) en PDF (página 321), que está disponible para su descarga gratuita en mi sitio web.

Pablo estaba haciendo una comparación de un testamento y la muerte de la persona que hizo el testamento (el testador) al Señor Jesucristo y su muerte en la cruz por nuestros pecados.

¡De la misma manera que un testamento, el Nuevo Pacto no entró en vigencia hasta que Cristo murió en la cruz por nuestros pecados! Cristo era ambos el Dios en el Monte Sinaí que hizo el Nuevo Pacto con los judíos (el Testador, por así decirlo), Y Él se convirtió en el sacrificio que selló el Nuevo Pacto con su Sangre en la cruz por nuestros pecados!

Jehová Dios hizo el Antiguo Pacto con Moisés y los hijos de Israel en el Monte Sinaí (Éxodo 20:1-17). Esta aparición de Jehová Dios en la cima de la montaña en fuego y humo fue una aparición preencarnado de la Palabra de Dios (la segunda Persona de la Trinidad): Él hizo el Antiguo Pacto con ellos; y Moisés selló ese Pacto con la sangre de los animales (Hebreos 9:18-21).

Jehová Dios también hizo el Nuevo Pacto con los judíos:

Jeremías 31:31-32: “He aquí que vienen días,’ dice Jehová, ‘en los cuales haré nuevo Pacto con la casa de Jacob y la casa de Judá: no como el Pacto que hice con sus padres el día que tomé su mano para sacarlos de la tierra de Egipto: porque ellos invalidaron mi Pacto, aunque yo era un marido para ellos,’ dice Jehová.”

¡Pero esta vez, Jehová Dios selló ese Pacto con su propia Sangre en la cruz del Calvario!

Génesis 22:7-8: “Entonces habló Isaac a Abraham su padre, y dijo, “Padre mío.” Y él respondió, “Aquí estoy, mi hijo.” Y él dijo, “He aquí el fuego y la leña. ¿Pero dónde está el cordero para el holocausto?” Y respondió Abraham, “Dios se proveerá él mismo el cordero para el holocausto, hijo mío.” E iban juntos.”

Hechos 20:28: “Por tanto, tened cuidado con ustedes mismos y por todo el rebaño (sobre las cuales el Espíritu Santo os ha hecho supervisores), para apacentar la congregación de Dios, cual él ha comprado con su propia sangre.”

¡Alabado sea el Señor! ¡¡¡¡AMÉN!!!!

¶El complemento El Antiguo Pacto fue dedicado por Moisés una vez con la sangre de terneros y cabras (9:18 - 22)

Único Por lo tanto, incluso el Primer Pacto no fue dedicado sin sangre: porque porque cuando Moisés había pronunciado todos los preceptos a toda la gente según la Ley, tomó la sangre de los becerros y de los machos cabríos, con agua y lana escarlata e hisopo; y roció tanto el Libro como a todo el pueblo, diciendo, “Ésta es la sangre del Pacto que Dios os ha mandado.”

Comentarios: Finalmente, el tercer párrafo explica que Moisés también dedicó (o inició) la Antigua Alianza con un sacrificio de sangre; en este caso, se trataba de un sacrificio de becerros y cabras. Y roció con la sangre tanto al pueblo como al Libro, junto con el Tabernáculo y todos los utensilios del ministerio en el Tabernáculo.

Ahora, mis amigos, este es un texto extremadamente importante en la Biblia; ¡y espero que nunca lo olvides!

“Y sin derramamiento de sangre, no hay perdón de pecados!”

Los falsos maestros liberales atacarán esta enseñanza como “la religión sangrienta de antaño” o algo similar; y digo, “AMEN y AMEN”!

¡Satanás y sus demonios ODIAN la Sangre de Jesús! ¡Él hace todo lo que puede para menospreciar, desacreditar y persuadir a las personas a que se mantengan alejadas de la Sangre de Jesús que Él derramó por nosotros en la cruz, porque la Sangre de Jesús es lo que destruye el poder de Satanás! ¡Satanás fue derrotado en la cruz de Jesús a causa de la Sangre!

Levíticio 17:11: Jehová dijo, “Porque la vida de la carne está en la sangre; y yo os la he dado para expiar vuestras almas sobre el altar: porque es la sangre lo que hace expiación por el alma.”

Hebreos 9:13-14: “Porque si la sangre de los toros y de las cabras, y las cenizas de una novilla espolvoreando a los contaminados, santifica para la purificación de la carne, ¿cuánto más la sangre de Cristo (quien a través del Espíritu Eterno se ofreció sin mancha hasta Dios) purgará vuestras conciencias desde las obras muertas para servir al Dios viviente?”

1 ¿Has ido a Jesús por la limpieza poder, estás lavado en la sangre del Cordero? ¿Estás confiando plenamente en Su gracia en esta hora, estás lavado en la sangre del Cordero? [Coro]

2 ¿Estás caminando diariamente al lado del Salvador, estás lavado en la sangre del Cordero? ¿Descansas cada momento en el Crucificado, estás lavado en la sangre del Cordero? [Coro]

3 Cuando venga el Esposo, ¿serán blancas vuestras vestiduras, estás lavado en la sangre del Cordero? ¿Estará tu alma lista para las mansiones luminosas, y ser lavado en la sangre del Cordero? [Coro]

4 ¡Deja a un lado las vestiduras que están manchadas con el pecado, y sé lavado en la sangre del Cordero! Hay una fuente que fluye para el alma impura, ¡Oh, sé lavado en la sangre del Cordero! [Coro]

Coro: ¿Estas lavado, en la sangre, ¿en la sangre limpiadora del Cordero para el alma? ¿Tus prendas están impecables? ¿Son blancos como la nieve? ¿Estás lavado en la sangre del Cordero? (Himno “¿Estás lavado en la sangre?”)

Nacido de nuevo creyente en Jesucristo: ¡No permitan que Satanás robe la preciosa doctrina de la Sangre de Jesucristo desde ti! ¡Los falsos “pastores” y “predicadores” aman menospreciar y faltarle el respeto a la Sangre de Cristo, porque no le conocen! Si su pastor no entiende la doctrina bíblica de la Sangre de Cristo, debe buscar otra iglesia a la que asistir.

¡Reclama el poder de la Sangre de Jesucristo todos los días en oración! ¡Y reclama el Nombre y la Sangre de Jesús para defender ti mismo desde Satanás y sus demonios y ahuyentarlos! ¡La sola mención de la Sangre de Cristo los hace temblar de terror!

Los creyentes en Cristo son santificados y limpiados por la Sangre de Cristo; lo necesitamos todos los días para ser santos y limpios de nuestros pecados.

I Juan 1:7: “Pero si andamos en la Luz, como él está en la Luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros; y la sangre de Jesucristo su Hijo constantemente nos limpia desde todo pecado.”

Podemos recibir su limpieza del pecado mediante el arrepentimiento del pecado y la fe en su Obra terminada de salvación en la cruz por nuestros pecados.

¡La religión no puede salvarte! Obediencia externa a un sistema de religión (el hinduismo, el islamismo, el cristianismo, el catolicismo romano, etc.) no puede salvar a una sola persona desde ir al Infierno; ¡y nunca lo hará!

Solo el Señor Jesucristo puede salvarte, seas judío o gentil, musulmán, hindú, budista, ateo o católico romano! Él vino a la Tierra para derramar su sangre en la cruz, para que tú y yo tengamos Vida Eterna, si nos arrepentimos de nuestros pecados y ponemos nuestra confianza para la vida Eterna SOLO en Él.

Ninguna religión de ningún tipo o dios falso tiene poder alguno para perdonar tus pecados y hacerte un hijo de Dios para siempre. María no puede hacer eso; Los santos no pueden hacer eso; Mahoma no puede hacer eso; Buda no puede hacer eso; ¡solo Jesús puede hacer eso!

Hechos 4:12: “Tampoco hay salvación en ningún otro: porque no hay otro Nombre bajo del Cielo, dado entre los hombres, por cual debemos ser salvados.”

Juan 3:16: “porque Dios amó tanto al mundo, que él dio a su Hijo unigénito, que cualquiera que cree en él no deberían perecer, sino tener Vida Eterna.”

Juan 14:6: “Jesús le dijo, “Soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.”

¿Crees que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios, que murió por tus pecados en la cruz hace casi 2000 años y resucitó de entre los muertos, según las Escrituras?

Si es así, entonces es fácil ser salvado, si está dispuesto a admitir que es un pecador ante Dios, y si desea recibir a Jesucristo como su Salvador personal.

Aquí hay una oración que puedes usar para ser salvado:

“Señor Jesús, sé que he pecado contra TI. ¡No soy bueno y tú eres justo! Creo que moriste en la cruz por mis pecados, fuiste enterrado y resucitaste de entre los muertos al tercer día. Quiero que vengas a mi vida y seas mi Señor y Salvador. Por favor entra en mi corazón ahora mismo. Perdóname por todos mis pecados y salva mi alma. En el poderoso Nombre de Jesús, oro, ¡Amén!”
