^15:22“If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have had no sin; but now they have no cloak for their sin. ^15:23He that hates me hates my Father also. ^15:24If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they would not have had sin; but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

^15:25“But this comes to pass, that the Word might be fulfilled that is written in their Law, ‘They hated me without a cause.’”

^16:7“Nevertheless I tell you the truth, it is good for you that I go away: for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you. ^16:8And when he has come, he will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: ^16:9of sin, because they believe not on me; ^16:10of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more; ^16:11of judgment, because the prince of this world has been sentenced.

^16:12“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. ^16:13Nevertheless when he, the Spirit of Truth, has come, he will guide you into all Truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come. ^16:14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it to you. ^16:15All things that the Father has are mine; therefore I said, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it to you.”

Truly, truly, I say to you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my Name, he will give to you. ^16:24Until now you have asked nothing in my Name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.”

^16:25“These things have I spoken to you in proverbs; but the time is coming, when I shall no longer speak to you in proverbs, but shall show you plainly concerning the Father. ^16:26At that day you shall ask in my Name; and I do not say to you, that I will pray the Father for you: ^16:27for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. ^16:28I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world, and going to the Father.”

^16:29His disciples says to him, “Behold, now you speak plainly, and speak no proverb. ^16:30Now we are sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you. By this we believe that you came forth from God.” ^16:31Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? ^16:32Behold, the hour is coming (indeed, even now has it come), that you shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

^16:12“Aún tengo muchas cosas que deciros, pero ahora no las podéis llevar. ^16:13Pero cuando el Espíritu de verdad venga, él os guiará a toda verdad: porque no hablará de sí mismo, sino que hablará todo lo que oiga, y os hará saber las cosas que han de venir. ^16:14Él me glorificará: porque tomará de lo mío, y os lo hará saber. ^16:15Todo lo que tiene el Padre, es mío; por eso dije que tomará de lo mío, y os lo hará saber”.

^16:25“Estas cosas os he hablado en parábolas, pero la hora viene cuando ya no os hablaré en parábolas, sino que claramente os anunciaré del Padre. ^16:26Aquel día pediréis en mi Nombre, y no os digo que yo rogaré al Padre por ustedes; ^16:27pues el Padre mismo os ama: porque ustedes me habéis amado, y habéis creído que yo salí de Dios. ^16:28Salí del Padre, y he venido al mundo; otra vez, dejo el mundo y voy al Padre”.

^16:29Sus discípulos le dijeron, “He aquí ahora hablas claramente, y ninguna parábola dices. ^16:30Ahora entendemos que sabes todas las cosas, y no necesitas que nadie te pregunte; por esto creemos que has venido de Dios”. ^16:31Jesús les respondió, “¿Ahora creéis? ^16:32He aquí la hora viene, y ya ha venido, en que seréis dispersados cada uno a los suyos, y me dejaréis solo; pero no estoy solo: porque el Padre está conmigo.

^17:7“Ahora han conocido que todas las cosas que me has dado, son de ti: ^17:8porque las palabras que me diste, les he dado; y ellos las recibieron, y en verdad han conocido que salí de ti, y han creído que tú me enviaste.

^17:13“Y ahora vengo a ti, y hablo estas cosas en el mundo, para que ellos tengan mi gozo cumplido en sí mismos. ^17:14Yo les he dado tu Palabra; y el mundo los aborreció: porque no son del mundo, como tampoco soy del mundo. ^17:15No ruego que usted los tomaría fuera del mundo, sino que usted los mantendrá desde el malvado. ^17:16No son del mundo, como tampoco soy del mundo. ^17:17Santifícalos a través de tu verdad: tu Palabra es Verdad. ^17:18Como tú me enviaste al mundo, así yo los he enviado al mundo. ^17:19Y por el bien de ellos, yo me santifico a mí mismo, para que también ellos sean santificados en la Verdad”.

^17:20“Y no ruego solamente por éstos, sino también por los que han de creer en mí por la palabra de ellos. ^17:21Para que todos sean uno; como tú, oh Padre, en mí, y yo en ti, que también ellos sean uno en nosotros; para que el mundo crea que tú me enviaste. ^17:22Y la gloria que me diste, yo les he dado; para que sean uno, como nosotros somos uno. ^17:23Yo en ellos, y tú en mí, para que sean perfeccionados en uno; y para que el mundo conozca que tú me enviaste, y que los has amado como también a mí me has amado.

^17:24“Padre, aquellos que me has dado, quiero que donde yo estoy, también ellos estén conmigo; para que vean mi gloria que me has dado: porque me has amado desde antes de la fundación del mundo.

^17:25“Oh Padre justo, el mundo no te ha conocido, pero yo te he conocido, y éstos han conocido que tú me enviaste. ^17:26Y yo les he dado a conocer tu Nombre, y lo daré a conocer aún; para que el amor con que me has amado, esté en ellos, y yo en ellos”.
