And the sons of Ishi were Zoheth and Ben-zoheth. ^4:21The sons of Shelah the son of Judah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that worked in fine linen: of the house of Ashbea, ^4:22and Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, Joash, and Saraph, who ruled in Moab, and Jashubi-lehem. And these are ancient things. ^4:23These were the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges; there they dwelt with the king for his work.

^4:38These mentioned by their names were princes in their families; and the house of their fathers increased greatly. ^4:39And they went to the entrance of Gedor, even to the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks. ^4:40And they found fat and good pasture; and the land was wide, quiet, and peaceful: for they of Ham had dwelt there of old. ^4:41And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and attacked their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly until this day, and dwelt in their place, because there was pasture there for their flocks.

^4:42And some of them, five hundred men of the sons of Simeon, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah, and Uzziel: the sons of Ishi. ^4:43And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there until this day.

^5:18The sons of Reuben, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh (of valiant men: men able to bear small shield and sword, and to shoot with the bow, and skillful in war) were forty-four thousand, seven hundred and sixty, that went out to the war. ^5:19And they made war with the Hagarites: with Jetur, Nephish, and Nodab. ^5:20And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle; and he heard them, because they put their trust in him. ^5:21And they took away their cattle: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of donkeys two thousand, and of men one hundred thousand: ^5:22for there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. Los hijos de Otoniel: Hatat, ^4:14y Meonotai, el cual engendró a Ofra; y Seraías engendró a Joab, padre de los habitantes en el valle llamado de Carisim: porque fueron artífices. ^4:15Los hijos de Caleb hijo de Jefone: Iru, Ela y Naham; e hijo de Ela, fue Cenaz. ^4:16Los hijos de Jehalelel: Zif, Zifas, Tirias y Asareel. ^4:17Y los hijos de Esdras: Jeter, Mered, Efer y Jalón; también engendró a Miriam, a Samai y a Isba, padre de Estemoa. ^4:18Y Jehudaía su esposa le dio a luz a Jered padre de Gedor, y a Heber padre de Soco, y a Icutiel padre de Zanoa. Éstos fueron los hijos de Bitia hija de Faraón, con la cual se casó Mered. ^4:19Y los hijos de la esposa de Odías, hermana de Naham, fueron el padre de Keila el garmita y Estemoa maacatita. ^4:20Y los hijos de Simón: Amnón, Rina, Ben-hanán y Tilón. Y los hijos de Isi: Zohet y Benzohet. ^4:21Los hijos de Sela, hijo de Judá: Er, padre de Leca, y Laada, padre de Maresa, y de la familia de la casa del oficio del lino en la casa de Asbea; ^4:22y Joacim, y los varones de Cozeba, Joás y Saraf, los cuales moraron en Moab, y Jasubi-lehem, que son palabras antiguas. ^4:23Éstos fueron alfareros y se hallaban en medio de plantíos y cercados; los cuales moraron allá con el rey en su obra.

Y ésta su descendencia: ^4:34Mesobab, y Jamlec, y Josías hijo de Amasías; ^4:35Joel, y Jehú hijo de Josibias, hijo de Seraías, hijo de Aziel; ^4:36y Elioenai, Jacoba, Jesohaía, Asaías, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaía; ^4:37y Ziza hijo de Sifi, hijo de Alón, hijo de Jedaía, hijo de Simri, hijo de Semaías.

^4:38Éstos por sus nombres son los principales que vinieron en sus familias, y que fueron multiplicados en gran manera en las casas de sus padres. ^4:39Y llegaron hasta la entrada de Gedor hasta el oriente del valle, buscando pastos para sus ganados. ^4:40Y hallaron gruesos y buenos pastos, y tierra ancha y espaciosa, quieta y reposada: porque los de Cam la habitaban de antes. ^4:41Y estos que han sido escritos por sus nombres, vinieron en días de Ezequías rey de Judá, y desbarataron sus tiendas y las habitaciones que allí hallaron, y los destruyeron, hasta hoy, y habitaron allí en lugar de ellos: porque allí había pastos para sus ganados.

^4:42Y asimismo quinientos hombres de ellos, de los hijos de Simeón, se fueron al monte de Seir, llevando por capitanes a Pelatía, y a Nearías, y a Refaías y a Uziel, hijos de Isi; ^4:43y derrotaron a los que habían quedado de Amalec, y habitaron allí hasta hoy.

^5:18Los hijos de Rubén y los gaditas, y la media tribu de Manasés, hombres valientes, hombres que traían escudo y espada, que entesaban arco, y diestros en la guerra, eran cuarenta y cuatro mil setecientos sesenta que salían a batalla. ^5:19Y tuvieron guerra contra los agarenos, contra Jetur, Nafis y Nodab. ^5:20Y fueron ayudados contra ellos, y los agarenos se dieron en sus manos, y todos los que con ellos estaban: porque clamaron a Dios en la guerra, y les fue favorable: porque confiaron en él. ^5:21Y tomaron sus ganados, cincuenta mil camellos, y doscientas cincuenta mil ovejas, dos mil asnos, y cien mil personas. ^5:22Y cayeron muchos muertos: porque la guerra era de Dios; y habitaron en sus lugares hasta el cautiverio.

^7:6Los hijos de Benjamín fueron tres: Bela, Bequer y Jediael. ^7:7Los hijos de Bela: Ezbón, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimot e Iri; cinco cabezas de casas paternas, hombres de gran valor, y de cuya descendencia fueron contados veintidós mil treinta y cuatro. ^7:8Los hijos de Bequer: Zemira, Joás, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimot, Abías, Anatot y Alemet; todos éstos fueron hijos de Bequer. ^7:9Y contados por sus descendencias, por sus linajes, los que eran cabezas de sus familias, resultaron veinte mil doscientos hombres de grande esfuerzo. ^7:10Hijo de Jediael fue Bilhán; y los hijos de Bilhán: Jeús, Benjamín, Aod, Quenaana, Zetán, Tarsis y Ahisahar. ^7:11Todos éstos fueron hijos de Jediael, cabezas de familias, hombres muy valerosos, diecisiete mil doscientos que salían a combatir en la guerra. ^7:12Y Supim y Hupim fueron hijos de Hir: y Husim, hijo de Aher.

^7:13Los hijos de Neftalí: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer y Salum, hijos de Bilha.

^7:14Los hijos de Manasés: Asriel, el cual le dio a luz su concubina la siria, la cual también dio a luz a Maquir, padre de Galaad. ^7:15Y Maquir tomó por esposa la hermana de Hupim y Supim, cuya hermana tuvo por nombre Maaca; y el nombre del segundo fue Zelofehad. Y Zelofehad tuvo hijas. ^7:16Y Maaca esposa de Maquir le dio a luz un hijo, y le llamó Peres; y el nombre de su hermano fue Seres, cuyos hijos fueron Ulam y Requem. ^7:17Hijo de Ulam fue Bedán. ^7:30Los hijos de Aser: Imna, Isúa, Isúi, Bería, y su hermana Sera. ^7:31Los hijos de Bería: Heber, y Malquiel, el cual fue padre de Birzabit. ^7:32Y Heber engendró a Jaflet, Semer, Hotam, y Súa hermana de ellos. ^7:33Los hijos de Jaflet: Pasac, Bimhal y Asvat. Salum era el jefe. ^9:18Y hasta ahora entre las cuadrillas de los hijos de Leví han sido éstos los porteros en la puerta del Rey que está al oriente. ^9:19Y Salum hijo de Coré, hijo de Ebiasaf, hijo de Coré, y sus hermanos los Coreítas por la casa de su padre, tuvieron cargo de la obra del ministerio, guardando las puertas del Tabernáculo; así como sus padres fueron guardas de la entrada del campamento de Jehová. ^9:20Y Finees hijo de Eleazar fue antes capitán sobre ellos, y Jehová era con él. ^9:21Y Zacarías hijo de Meselemías era portero de la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación. ^9:22Todos éstos, escogidos para guardas en las puertas, eran doscientos doce cuando fueron contados por el orden de sus linajes en sus aldeas, a los cuales constituyó en su oficio David y Samuel el vidente. ^9:23Así ellos y sus hijos eran porteros por sus turnos a las puertas de la Casa de Jehová, y de la Casa del Tabernáculo. ^9:24Y estaban los porteros a los cuatro vientos, al oriente, al occidente, al norte y al sur. ^9:25Y sus hermanos que estaban en sus aldeas, venían cada siete días por sus tiempos con ellos: ^9:26porque cuatro principales de los porteros levitas estaban en el oficio, y tenían cargo de las cámaras, y de los tesoros de la Casa de Dios. ^9:27Éstos moraban alrededor de la Casa de Dios: porque tenían el cargo de guardarla y de abrirla todas las mañanas. ^9:28Algunos de ellos tenían a su cargo los utensilios del ministerio, los cuales se metían por cuenta, y por cuenta se sacaban. ^9:29Y otros de ellos tenían el cargo de la vajilla, y de todos los utensilios del santuario, de la harina, del vino, del aceite, del incienso, y de las especias. ^9:30Y algunos de los hijos de los sacerdotes hacían los ungüentos aromáticos. ^9:31Y Matatías, uno de los levitas, primogénito de Salum coreíta, tenía a su cargo las cosas que se hacían en sartén. ^9:32Y algunos de los hijos de Coat, y de sus hermanos, tenían el cargo de los panes de la proposición, los cuales ponían por orden cada Sábado. ^9:33Y de éstos había cantores, principales de familias de los levitas, los cuales estaban en sus cámaras exentos de otros servicios: porque de día y de noche estaban en aquella obra. ^9:34Éstos eran jefes de familias de los levitas por sus linajes, jefes que habitaban en Jerusalén.

^9:35Y en Gabaón habitaban Jeiel padre de Gabaón, el nombre de su esposa era Maaca; ^9:36y su hijo primogénito Abdón, luego Zur, Cis, Baal, Ner, Nadab; ^9:37Gedor, Ahío, Zacarías, y Miclot. ^9:38Y Miclot engendró a Samaán.
