^5:4And the children of Israel did so, and they put them out outside the camp.

As Jehovah spoke to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

¶Opposite   Every offering of the children of Israel shall belong to the priests of Aaron (5:5 - 10)

^5:5And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^5:6“Speak to the children of Israel, ‘When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against Jehovah, and that person is guilty, ^5:7then they shall confess their sin which they have done.

And he shall repay his trespass with the principal of it, and add to it the fifth part of it; and give it to him against whom he has trespassed.

^5:8But if the man has no kinsman to repay the trespass to, let the trespass be repaid to Jehovah, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

^5:9And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring to the priest, shall be his.

^5:10And every man's hallowed things shall be his; whatsoever any man gives the priest, it shall be his.’”

^5:11And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^5:12“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘If any man's wife goes aside, and commits a trespass against him, ^5:13and a man lies with her carnally, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband and is kept close; and she is defiled, and there is no witness against her; neither is she taken with the manner; ^5:14and the spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she is defiled; or if the spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she is not defiled, ^5:15then the man shall bring his wife to the priest. And he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense on it: for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

^5:16And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before Jehovah. ^5:17And the priest shall take clean water in an earthen vessel; and the priest shall take of the dust that is in the floor of the Tabernacle, and put it into the water. ^5:18And the priest shall set the woman before Jehovah, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse. ^5:19And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say to the woman, ‘If no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, be free from this bitter water that causes the curse. ^5:20But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you are defiled, and some man has lain with you beside your husband’ ^5:21(then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman), ‘Jehovah make you a curse and an oath among your people, when Jehovah makes your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell; ^5:22and this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot’; and the woman shall say, ‘Amen, amen.’ ^5:23And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water. ^5:24And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse, and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.

^5:25Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before Jehovah, and offer it upon the altar; ^5:26and the priest shall take a handful of the offering, even the memorial of it, and burn it upon the altar; and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. ^5:27And when he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she is defiled, and has trespassed against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot; and the woman shall be a curse among her people. ^5:28And if the woman is not defiled, but is clean, then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

^5:29This is the Law of jealousies, when a wife goes aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled; ^5:30or when the spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he is jealous over his wife; and he shall set the woman before Jehovah, and the priest shall execute upon her all this Law.

^5:31Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.’”

¶Opposite   The offerings of a Nazarite (6:1 - 21)

^6:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^6:2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When either a man or a woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves to Jehovah, ^6:3he shall separate himself from wine and alcohol, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. ^6:4All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk. ^6:5All the days of the vow of his separation no razor shall come upon his head until the days are fulfilled, in which he separates himself to Jehovah. He shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

^6:6All the days that he separates himself to Jehovah he shall not go near any dead body. ^6:7He shall not make himself unclean for his father or for his mother, for his brother or for his sister, when they die, because the consecration of his God is upon his head. ^6:8All the days of his separation he is holy to Jehovah. ^6:9And if any man dies very suddenly by him, and he has defiled the head of his consecration, then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day shall he shave it. ^6:10And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^6:11And the priest shall offer one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, because he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. ^6:12And he shall consecrate to Jehovah the days of his separation; and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering; but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.

^6:13And this is the Law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation, ^6:14and he shall offer his offering to Jehovah, one male lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one female lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings, ^6:15and a basket of unleavened bread (cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil), and their meal offering, and their drink offerings. ^6:16And the priest shall bring them before Jehovah, and shall offer his sin offering and his burnt offering; ^6:17and he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Jehovah, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall also offer his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^6:18And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation; and he shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings. ^6:19And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite (after the hair of his separation has been shaved), ^6:20and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Jehovah; this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder.

And after that the Nazarite may drink wine.

^6:21This is the Law of the Nazarite who has vowed, and of his offering to Jehovah for his separation, beside that which his hand shall get; according to the vow which he vowed, so must he do after the Law of his separation.’”

^6:22And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^6:23“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘On this manner you shall bless the children of Israel: saying to them: ^6:24‘Jehovah bless you, and keep you;

^6:25Jehovah make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

^6:26Jehovah lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.’’

^6:27And they shall put my Name upon the children of Israel;

and I will bless them.”

^7:1And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the Tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all its instruments, both the altar and all its vessels, and had anointed them, and sanctified them, ^7:2that the princes of Israel offered (who were heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were counted): ^7:3and they brought their offering before Jehovah: six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and an ox for each one. And they brought them before the Tabernacle.

^7:4And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^7:5“Take it from them, that they may be used to do the service of the Tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall give them to the Levites, to every man according to his service.”

^7:6And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and he gave them to the Levites. ^7:7He gave two wagons and four oxen to the sons of Gershon, according to their service. ^7:8And he gave four wagons and eight oxen to the sons of Merari, according to their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. ^7:9But he gave none to the sons of Kohath, because the service of the Sanctuary belonging to them was that they should carry upon their shoulders.

^7:10And the princes offered for dedication of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar. ^7:11And Jehovah said to Moses, “They shall offer their offering for the dedication of the altar, each prince on his day.” ^7:12And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah; ^7:13and his offering was one silver dish (its weight was a hundred and thirty shekels), and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:14one spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense; ^7:15one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:16one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:17and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab. ^7:18On the second day offered Nethaneel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar: ^7:19he offered for his offering one silver dish (the weight of it was one hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:20one spoon of gold of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:21one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:22one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:23and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar. ^7:24On the third day offered Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun: ^7:25his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:26one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:27one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:28one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:29and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon. ^7:30On the fourth day offered Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben: ^7:31his offering was one silver dish (of the weight of one hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:32one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:33one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:34one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:35and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur. ^7:36On the fifth day offered Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon: ^7:37his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:38one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:39one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:40one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:41and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. ^7:42On the sixth day offered Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad: ^7:43his offering was one silver dish (of the weight of one hundred and thirty shekels) and a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:44one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:45one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:46one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:47and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel. ^7:48On the seventh day offered Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim: ^7:49his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:50one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:51one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:52one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:53and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud. ^7:54On the eighth day offered Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh: ^7:55his offering was one silver dish of the weight of one hundred and thirty shekels and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); this was the offering of Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. ^7:60On the ninth day offered Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin: ^7:61his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:62one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:63one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:64one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:65and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni. ^7:66On the tenth day offered Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan: ^7:67his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:68one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:69one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:70one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:71and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. ^7:72On the eleventh day offered Pagiel the son of Ocran, prince of the children of Asher: ^7:73his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:74one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:75one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:76one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:77and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran. ^7:78On the twelfth day offered Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali: ^7:79his offering was one silver dish (the weight of it was a hundred and thirty shekels) and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary (both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering); ^7:80one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; ^7:81one young bull, one ram, and one lamb of the first year for a burnt offering; ^7:82one kid of the goats for a sin offering; ^7:83and for a sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs of the first year; this was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.

^7:84This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve dishes of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold. ^7:85Each dish of silver weighed one hundred and thirty shekels; each bowl seventy shekels. All the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuary. ^7:86The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the Sanctuary. All the gold of the spoons was one hundred and twenty shekels. ^7:87All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bulls, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meal offering; and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve. ^7:88And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty-four bulls; the rams sixty, the male goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.

^7:89And when Moses went into the Tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking to him from off the mercy seat that was upon the Ark of Testimony, from between the two cherubim;

and he spoke to him.

^8:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^8:2“Speak to Aaron, and say to him: ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.’”

^8:3And Aaron did so: he lit its lamps over against the candlestick, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

^8:4And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold: unto its shaft to its flowers, was beaten work; according to the pattern which Jehovah showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.

§Unique   Conclusion: Jehovah sanctified the Levites for service, and limited the ages of the Levites who should serve (8:5 - 8:26)

^8:5And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^8:6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them. ^8:7And this is what you shall do to them, to cleanse them: sprinkle water of purification upon them; and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. ^8:8Then let them take a young bull with his meal offering, even fine flour mingled with oil; and you shall take another young bull for a sin offering. ^8:9And you shall bring the Levites before the Tabernacle of the congregation, and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together. ^8:10And you shall bring the Levites before Jehovah, and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites; ^8:11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Jehovah as an offering of the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of Jehovah. ^8:12And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bulls; and you shall offer one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering to Jehovah, to make an atonement for the Levites. ^8:13And you shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as an offering to Jehovah. ^8:14In this manner you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.

^8:15And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the Tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall cleanse them, and offer them as an offering.

^8:16For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

^8:17For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself. ^8:18And I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the children of Israel.

^8:19And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, so that there is no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come near to the Sanctuary.”

^8:20And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel to them.

^8:21And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes. And Aaron offered them as an offering before Jehovah; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them. ^8:22And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the Tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons. As Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they to them.

^8:23And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^8:24“This is the service that belongs to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the Tabernacle of the congregation.

^8:25And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service, and shall serve no more;

^8:26but they shall minister with their brethren in the Tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus you shall do to the Levites touching their charge.”

§El complemento   Introducción: Los leprosos deben vivir fuera del campamento de Israel; y toda ofrenda pertenecerá a los sacerdotes de Aarón (5:1 - 10)

¶Lo opuesto   Poned a cada leproso fuera del campamento de Israel, donde mora Jehová (5:1 - 4)

^5:1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^5:2“Manda a los hijos de Israel que echen del campamento a todo leproso, y a todos los que padecen flujo de semen, y a todo contaminado sobre muerto.

^5:3Así hombres como mujeres echaréis.

Fuera del campamento los echaréis, para que no contaminen el campamento de aquellos entre los cuales yo habito”.

^5:4Y lo hicieron así los hijos de Israel, que los echaron fuera del campamento.

Como Jehová dijo a Moisés, así lo hicieron los hijos de Israel.

¶Lo opuesto   Toda ofrenda de los hijos de Israel pertenecerá a los sacerdotes de Aarón (5:5 - 10)

^5:5Además habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^5:6“Habla a los hijos de Israel, ‘El hombre o la mujer que cometiere alguno de todos los pecados de los hombres, haciendo prevaricación contra Jehová, y delinquiere aquella persona, ^5:7confesarán su pecado que cometieron.

Y compensarán su ofensa enteramente, y añadirán la quinta parte sobre ello, y lo darán a aquél contra quien pecaron.

^5:8Y si aquel hombre no tuviere pariente al cual sea resarcida la ofensa, se dará la indemnización del agravio a Jehová, al sacerdote, a más del carnero de las expiaciones, con el cual hará expiación por él.

^5:9Y toda ofrenda de todas las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel presentaren al sacerdote, suya será.

^5:10Y lo santificado de cualquiera será suyo; asimismo lo que cualquiera diere al sacerdote, suyo será’”.

§El complemento   Cuerpo: Aarón bendijo al pueblo y las tribus dieron ofrendas especiales a los levitas (5:11 - 8:4)

¶Lo opuesto   La ofrenda de celos entre un esposo y su esposa (5:11 - 31)

^5:11Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^5:12“Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles, ‘Si la esposa de alguno se descarriare, e hiciere traición contra él, ^5:13y alguno hubiere tenido relación carnal con ella, y su marido no lo hubiese visto por haberse ella amancillado ocultamente, y no hubiere testigo contra ella, ni ella hubiere sido tomada en el acto; ^5:14si el espíritu de celos viniere sobre él, y tuviere celos de su esposa, habiéndose ella amancillado; o si el espíritu de celo viniere sobre él, y tuviere celos de su esposa, no habiéndose ella amancillado; ^5:15entonces el marido traerá su esposa al sacerdote. Y traerá su ofrenda con ella, la décima de un efa de harina de cebada; no echará sobre ella aceite, ni pondrá sobre ella incienso: porque es presente de celos, presente de recordación, que trae a la memoria el pecado.

^5:16Y el sacerdote la hará acercar, y la hará poner delante de Jehová. ^5:17Luego el sacerdote tomará del agua santa en un vaso de barro; tomará también el sacerdote del polvo que hubiere en el suelo del Tabernáculo, y lo echará en el agua. ^5:18Y hará el sacerdote estar en pie a la mujer delante de Jehová, y descubrirá la cabeza de la mujer, y pondrá sobre sus manos el presente de la recordación, que es el presente de celos; y el sacerdote tendrá en la mano las aguas amargas que acarrean maldición. ^5:19Y el sacerdote la conjurará, y le dirá, ‘Si ningún hombre se ha acostado contigo, y si no te has apartado de tu marido a inmundicia, libre seas de estas aguas amargas que traen maldición; ^5:20pero si te has descarriado de tu marido, y te has amancillado, y algún hombre se ha acostado contigo, fuera de tu marido’ ^5:21(el sacerdote conjurará a la mujer con juramento de maldición, y dirá a la mujer), ‘Jehová te haga maldición y conjura en medio de tu pueblo, haciendo Jehová que tu muslo caiga, y que tu vientre se hinche; ^5:22y estas aguas que dan maldición entren en tus entrañas, y hagan hinchar tu vientre y caer tu muslo’ y la mujer dirá, ‘Amén, amén’. ^5:23Y el sacerdote escribirá estas maldiciones en un libro, y las borrará con las aguas amargas; ^5:24y dará a beber a la mujer las aguas amargas que traen maldición; y las aguas que obran maldición entrarán en ella por amargas.

^5:25Después tomará el sacerdote de la mano de la mujer el presente de los celos, y lo mecerá delante de Jehová, y lo ofrecerá delante del altar. ^5:26Y tomará el sacerdote un puñado del presente, en memoria de ella, y lo quemará sobre el altar, y después dará a beber las aguas a la mujer. ^5:27Le dará, pues, a beber las aguas; y será, que si fuere inmunda y hubiere hecho traición contra su marido, las aguas que obran maldición entrarán en ella en amargura, y su vientre se hinchará, y caerá su muslo; y la mujer será maldición en medio de su pueblo. ^5:28Pero si la mujer no fuere inmunda, sino que estuviere limpia, ella será libre, y será fecunda.

^5:29Ésta es la Ley de los celos, cuando la esposa hiciere traición a su marido, y se amancillare; ^5:30o del marido, sobre el cual pasare espíritu de celos, y tuviere celos de su esposa ; la presentará entonces delante de Jehová, y el sacerdote ejecutará en ella toda esta ley.

^5:31Y aquel varón será libre de iniquidad, y la mujer llevará su pecado’”.

¶Lo opuesto   Las ofrendas del nazarita (6:1 - 21)

^6:1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^6:2“Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: ‘El hombre, o la mujer, cuando se apartare haciendo voto de Nazareo, para dedicarse a Jehová, ^6:3se abstendrá de vino y de sidra; no beberá vinagre de vino, ni vinagre de sidra, ni beberá algún licor de uvas, ni tampoco comerá uvas frescas ni secas. ^6:4Todos los días de su nazareato, de todo lo que se hace de vid de vino, desde los granillos hasta el hollejo, no comerá. ^6:5Todos los días del voto de su nazareato no pasará navaja sobre su cabeza, hasta que sean cumplidos los días de su consagración a Jehová; santo será; dejará crecer las guedejas del cabello de su cabeza.

^6:6Todos los días que se consagrare a Jehová, no entrará a persona muerta. ^6:7Ni por su padre, ni por su madre, ni por su hermano, ni por su hermana, no se contaminará con ellos cuando murieren: porque consagración de su Dios tiene sobre su cabeza. ^6:8Todos los días de su nazareato, será santo a Jehová. ^6:9Y si alguno muriere muy de repente junto a él, contaminará la cabeza de su nazareato; por tanto el día de su purificación raerá su cabeza; al séptimo día la raerá. ^6:10Y el día octavo traerá dos tórtolas o dos palominos al sacerdote, a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación; ^6:11y el sacerdote ofrecerá el uno en expiación, y el otro en holocausto; y hará expiación de lo que pecó a causa del muerto, y santificará su cabeza en aquel día. ^6:12Y consagrará a Jehová los días de su nazareato, y traerá un cordero de un año en expiación por la culpa; y los días primeros serán anulados, por cuanto fue contaminado su nazareato.

^6:13Ésta es la Ley del Nazareo cuando se hubieren cumplido los días de su nazareato: Vendrá a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación, ^6:14y ofrecerá su ofrenda a Jehová, un cordero de un año sin defecto en holocausto, y una cordera de un año sin defecto en expiación, y un carnero sin defecto por ofrenda de paz. ^6:15Además un canastillo de panes sin levadura, tortas de flor de harina amasadas con aceite, y hojaldres de panes sin levadura untadas con aceite, y su presente, y sus libaciones. ^6:16Y el sacerdote lo ofrecerá delante de Jehová, y hará su expiación y su holocausto; ^6:17y ofrecerá el carnero como sacrificio de paz a Jehová, con el canastillo de los panes sin levadura; ofrecerá asimismo el sacerdote su presente, y sus libaciones. ^6:18Entonces el Nazareo raerá a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación la cabeza de su nazareato, y tomará los cabellos de la cabeza de su nazareato, y los pondrá sobre el fuego que está debajo de la ofrenda de paz. ^6:19Después tomará el sacerdote la espaldilla cocida del carnero, y una torta sin levadura del canastillo, y una hojaldre sin levadura, y las pondrá sobre las manos del Nazareo, después que el cabello de su consagración fuere raído; ^6:20y el sacerdote mecerá aquello, ofrenda agitada delante de Jehová; lo cual será cosa santa del sacerdote, junto con el pecho mecido y la espaldilla separada,

Y después podrá beber vino el Nazareo.

^6:21Ésta es la Ley del Nazareo que hiciere voto de su ofrenda a Jehová por su nazareato, además de lo que su mano alcanzare; según el voto que hiciere, así hará, conforme a la Ley de su nazareato’”.

¶El complemento   Aarón el sacerdote bendijo a los hijos de Israel con palabras (6:22 - 27)

^6:22Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^6:23“Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos, y diles, ‘Así bendeciréis a los hijos de Israel, diciéndoles: ^6:24‘Jehová te bendiga, y te guarde;

^6:25Jehová haga resplandecer su rostro sobre ti, y tenga piedad de ti;

^6:26Jehová levante su rostro sobre ti, y ponga en ti paz’’.

^6:27Y pondrán mi Nombre sobre los hijos de Israel;

y yo los bendeciré”.

¶El complemento   Cada una de las doce tribus bendijo a la tribu de Leví con regalos especiales (7:1 - 88)

^7:1Y aconteció, que cuando Moisés hubo acabado de levantar el Tabernáculo (y de ungirlo y santificarlo), con todos sus vasos (y asimismo ungido y santificado el altar, con todos sus vasos), ^7:2entonces los príncipes de Israel (las cabezas de las casas de sus padres, los cuales eran los príncipes de las tribus, que estaban sobre los contados) ofrecieron; ^7:3y trajeron sus ofrendas delante de Jehová, seis carros cubiertos, y doce bueyes; por cada dos príncipes un carro, y cada uno un buey; lo cual ofrecieron delante del Tabernáculo.

^7:4Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^7:5“Tómalo de ellos, y será para el servicio del Tabernáculo de la congregación: y lo darás a los levitas, a cada uno conforme a su ministerio”.

^7:6Entonces Moisés recibió los carros y los bueyes, y los dio a los levitas. ^7:7Dos carros y cuatro bueyes, dio a los hijos de Gersón, conforme a su ministerio; ^7:8y a los hijos de Merari dio los cuatro carros y ocho bueyes, conforme a su ministerio, bajo la mano de Itamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote. ^7:9Y a los hijos de Coat no dio: porque llevaban sobre sí en los hombros el servicio del Santuario.

^7:10Y los príncipes ofrendaron para la dedicación del altar el día que fue ungido, aun los príncipes ofrecieron su ofrenda delante del altar. ^7:11Y Jehová dijo a Moisés, “Ofrecerán su ofrenda, un príncipe un día, y otro príncipe otro día, para la dedicación del altar”. ^7:12Y el que ofreció su ofrenda el primer día fue Naasón hijo de Aminadab, de la tribu de Judá. ^7:13Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de peso de ciento treinta siclos, y un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:14una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:15un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:16un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:17y para ofrenda de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos, cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Naasón, hijo de Aminadab. ^7:18El segundo día ofreció Natanael hijo de Zuar, príncipe de Isacar. ^7:19Ofreció por su ofrenda un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:20una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:21un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:22un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:23y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Natanael, hijo de Zuar. ^7:24El tercer día, Eliab hijo de Helón, príncipe de los hijos de Zabulón. ^7:25Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:26una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:27un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:28un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:29y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Eliab, hijo de Helón. ^7:30El cuarto día, Elisur hijo de Sedeur, príncipe de los hijos de Rubén. ^7:31Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario, ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:32una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:33un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:34un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:35y para ofrenda de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Elisur, hijo de Sedeur. ^7:36El quinto día, Selumiel hijo de Zurisadai, príncipe de los hijos de Simeón. ^7:37Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:38una cuchara de oro de diez siclos llena de incienso; ^7:39un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:40un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:41y para ofrenda de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai. ^7:42El sexto día, Eliasaf hijo de Dehuel, príncipe de los hijos de Gad. ^7:43Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:44una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:45un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:46un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:47y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Eliasaf, hijo de Dehuel. ^7:48El séptimo día, el príncipe de los hijos de Efraín, Elisama hijo de Amiud. ^7:49Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:50una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:51un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:52un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:53y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Elisama, hijo de Amiud. ^7:54El octavo día, el príncipe de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur. ^7:55Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:56una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:57un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:58un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:59y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur. ^7:60El noveno día, el príncipe de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán hijo de Gedeón. ^7:61Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:62una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:63un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:64un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:65y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Abidán, hijo de Gedeón. ^7:66El décimo día, el príncipe de los hijos de Dan, Ahiezer hijo de Amisadai. ^7:67Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:68una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:69un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:70un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:71y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai. ^7:72El undécimo día, el príncipe de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel hijo de Ocrán. ^7:73Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento y treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:74una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:75un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:76un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:77y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán. ^7:78El duodécimo día, el príncipe de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán. ^7:79Y su ofrenda fue un plato de plata de ciento treinta siclos de peso, un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del Santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente; ^7:80una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; ^7:81un becerro, un carnero, un cordero de un año para holocausto; ^7:82un macho cabrío para expiación; ^7:83y para sacrificio de paz, dos bueyes, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos de un año. Ésta fue la ofrenda de Ahira, hijo de Enán.

^7:84Ésta fue la dedicación del altar, el día que fue ungido, por los príncipes de Israel; doce platos de plata, doce jarros de plata, doce cucharas de oro. ^7:85Cada plato de ciento treinta siclos, cada jarro de setenta; toda la plata de los vasos, dos mil cuatrocientos siclos, al siclo del Santuario. ^7:86Las doce cucharas de oro llenas de incienso, de diez siclos cada cuchara, al siclo del Santuario; todo el oro de las cucharas, ciento veinte siclos. ^7:87Todos los bueyes para holocausto, doce becerros; doce los carneros, doce los corderos de un año, con su presente: y doce los machos cabríos, para expiación. ^7:88Y todos los bueyes del sacrificio de paz fueron veinticuatro novillos, sesenta los carneros, sesenta los machos cabríos y sesenta los corderos de un año. Ésta fue la dedicación del altar, después que fue ungido.

¶Único   Aaron encendió las lámparas del candelabro de oro en el Lugar Santísimo (7:89 - 8:4)

^7:89Y cuando entraba Moisés en el Tabernáculo de la congregación, para hablar con él, oía la voz que le hablaba de encima del propiciatorio que estaba sobre el Arca del Testimonio, de entre los dos querubines;

y hablaba con él.

^8:1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^8:2“Habla a Aarón, y dile, ‘Cuando encendieres las lámparas, las siete lámparas alumbrarán hacia el frente del candelero’”.

^8:3Y Aarón lo hizo así; que encendió enfrente del candelero sus lámparas, como Jehová lo mandó a Moisés.

^8:4Y ésta era la hechura del candelero; de oro labrado a martillo; desde su pie hasta sus flores era labrado a martillo; conforme al modelo que Jehová mostró a Moisés, así hizo el candelero.

§Único   Conclusión: Jehová santificó a los levitas para el servicio y limitó las edades de los levitas quien debe servir (8:5 - 8:26)

¶El complemento   Jehová santificó a los levitas en lugar del primogénito de los hijos de Israel para el servicio del Tabernáculo (8:5 - 19)

^8:5Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^8:6“Toma a los levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, y expíalos. ^8:7Y así les harás para expiarlos: Rocía sobre ellos el agua de la expiación, y haz pasar la navaja sobre toda su carne, y lavarán sus vestiduras, y serán expiados. ^8:8Luego tomarán un novillo, con su presente de flor de harina amasada con aceite; y tomarás otro novillo para expiación. ^8:9Y harás llegar los levitas delante del Tabernáculo de la congregación, y juntarás toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel. ^8:10Y cuando hayas hecho llegar a los levitas delante de Jehová, pondrán los hijos de Israel sus manos sobre los levitas; ^8:11y ofrecerá Aarón los levitas delante de Jehová en ofrenda de los hijos de Israel, y servirán en el ministerio de Jehová. ^8:12Y los levitas pondrán sus manos sobre las cabezas de los novillos: y ofrecerás el uno por expiación, y el otro en holocausto a Jehová, para hacer expiación por los levitas. ^8:13Y harás presentar los levitas delante de Aarón, y delante de sus hijos, y los ofrecerás en ofrenda a Jehová. ^8:14Así apartarás los levitas de entre los hijos de Israel; y serán míos los levitas.

^8:15Y después de eso vendrán los levitas a ministrar en el Tabernáculo de la congregación: los expiarás, pues, y los ofrecerás en ofrenda.

^8:16Porque enteramente me son dados a mí los levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, en lugar de todo aquel que abre matriz; los he tomado para mí en lugar de los primogénitos de todos los hijos de Israel.

^8:17Porque mío es todo primogénito en los hijos de Israel, así de hombres como de animales; desde el día que yo herí todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, los santifiqué para mí. ^8:18Y he tomado los levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel.

^8:19Y yo he dado en don los levitas a Aarón y a sus hijos de entre los hijos de Israel, para que sirvan el ministerio de los hijos de Israel en el Tabernáculo de la congregación, y reconcilien a los hijos de Israel; para que no haya plaga en los hijos de Israel, llegando los hijos de Israel al Santuario”.

¶El complemento   Jehová limitó la edad de los levitas que deberían servir en el Tabernáculo desde los 25 hasta los 50 años (8:20 - 26)

^8:20Y Moisés, y Aarón, y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, hicieron con los levitas conforme a todas las cosas que mandó Jehová a Moisés acerca de los levitas; así hicieron de ellos los hijos de Israel.

^8:21Y los levitas se purificaron, y lavaron sus vestiduras; y Aarón los ofreció en ofrenda delante de Jehová, y Aarón hizo expiación por ellos para purificarlos. ^8:22Y así vinieron después los levitas para servir en su ministerio en el Tabernáculo de la congregación, delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos: de la manera que mandó Jehová a Moisés acerca de los levitas, así hicieron con ellos.

^8:23Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^8:24“Esto es lo concerniente a los levitas: de veinticinco años para arriba entrarán a hacer su oficio en el servicio del Tabernáculo de la congregación.

^8:25Pero desde los cincuenta años volverán del oficio de su ministerio, y nunca más servirán.
