^6:8And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^6:9“Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the Law of the burnt offering.

 It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night until the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

^6:10And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put his linen underpants upon his flesh. And he shall take up the ashes which the fire has consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar. ^6:11And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.

^6:12And the fire upon the altar is burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it morning by morning. And he shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.

^6:13The fire shall be burning upon the altar continually; it shall never go out.

¶Opposite   The Law of the Meal Offering (6:14 - 18)

^6:14And this is the Law of the meal offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before Jehovah, before the altar. ^6:15And he shall take of it his handful (of the flour of the meal offering, and of the oil of it, and all the frankincense which is upon the meal offering); and he shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet aroma, even the memorial of it, to Jehovah.

^6:16And Aaron and his sons shall eat the remainder of it; it shall be eaten with unleavened bread in the holy place; they shall eat it in the court of the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^6:17It shall not be baked with leaven.

I have given it to them for their portion of my offerings made by fire.

It is most holy: as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering. ^6:18All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it.

It shall be a Statute forever in your generations concerning the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: every one that touches them must be holy.’”

^6:19And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^6:20“This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer to Jehovah in the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half of it at night. ^6:21It shall be made in a pan with oil. And when it is baked, you shall bring it in, and you shall offer the baked pieces of the meal offering for a sweet aroma to Jehovah. ^6:22And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his place shall offer it.

It is a Statute forever to Jehovah: it shall be completely burned: ^6:23for every meal offering for the priest shall be completely burned; it shall not be eaten.”

^6:24And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^6:25“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the Law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed the sin offering shall be killed before Jehovah; it is most holy. ^6:26The priest that offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in the holy place, in the court of the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^6:27Whatsoever shall touch the flesh of it must be holy. And when any of the blood is sprinkled of it upon any garment, you shall wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place. ^6:28But the earthen vessel in which it is boiled shall be broken. And if it is boiled in a brass pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water. ^6:29All the males among the priests shall eat of it; it is most holy. ^6:30And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the Tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile with in the holy place, shall be eaten; it shall be burned in the fire.

^7:1Likewise this is the Law of the trespass offering: it is most holy. ^7:2In the place where they kill the burnt offering, shall they kill the trespass offering; and its blood, he shall sprinkle round about upon the altar. ^7:3And he shall offer of it all its fat: the rump, and the fat that covers the innards, ^7:4and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks; and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys. He shall take it away; ^7:5and the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire to Jehovah; it is a trespass offering. ^7:6Every male among the priests shall eat of it; it shall be eaten in the holy place; it is most holy. ^7:7As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering; there is one Law for them both: the priest that makes atonement with it shall have it. ^7:8And the priest that offers any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered. ^7:9And all the meal offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is prepared in the frying pan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offers it. ^7:10And every meal offering, mingled with oil or dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.

^7:11And this is the Law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer to Jehovah: ^7:12if he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried. ^7:13Beside the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings. ^7:14And of it he shall offer one out of the whole offering, for a heave offering to Jehovah; and it shall be the priest's that sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings. ^7:15And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning. ^7:16But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice. And on the next day also the remainder of it shall be eaten; ^7:17but the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire. ^7:18And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted; neither shall it be imputed to him that offers it. It shall be an abomination, and the person that eats of it shall bear his iniquity.

^7:22And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^7:23“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘You shall eat no manner of fat: of ox, sheep, or goat.

^7:24And the fat of the beast that dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use; but you shall never eat of it: ^7:25for whosoever eats the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire to Jehovah, even the person that eats it shall be cut off from his people.

^7:26Moreover you shall eat no manner of blood (whether it is of bird or of beast) in any of your dwellings. ^7:27Whatsoever person it is that eats any manner of blood, even that person shall be cut off from his people.’”

¶Complement   The portion of the peace offerings that belonged to Aaron and his sons (7:28 - 38)

^7:28And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^7:29“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘He that offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to Jehovah shall bring his offering to Jehovah of the sacrifice of his peace offerings. ^7:30His own hands shall bring the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: that is, the fat with the breast. He shall bring it, that the breast may be waved as a wave offering before Jehovah.

^7:31And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar; but the breast shall be Aaron's and his son's. ^7:32And you shall give the right shoulder to the priest for a heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. ^7:33He among the sons of Aaron, that offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part: ^7:34for I have taken the wave breast and the heave shoulder of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons, by a Statute forever from among the children of Israel.’”

^7:35This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire in the day when he presented them to minister to Jehovah in the priest's office;

^7:36which Jehovah commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a Statute forever throughout their generations.

^7:37This is the Law of the burnt offering, the meal offering, the sin offering, the trespass offering, the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings, ^7:38which Jehovah commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their offerings to Jehovah, in the wilderness of Sinai.

^6:10El sacerdote se pondrá su vestimenta de lino, y se vestirá calzoncillos de lino sobre su carne; y cuando el fuego hubiere consumido el holocausto, él apartará las cenizas de sobre el altar, y las pondrá junto al altar. ^6:11Después se desnudará de sus vestimentas, y se pondrá otras vestiduras, y sacará las cenizas fuera del campamento a un lugar limpio.

^6:12Y el fuego encendido sobre el altar no ha de apagarse, sino que el sacerdote pondrá en él leña cada mañana, y acomodará sobre él el holocausto, y quemará sobre él la grosura de los sacrificios de paz.

^6:13El fuego ha de arder continuamente en el altar; no se apagará.

¶Lo opuesto   La ley de la ofrenda de grano (6:14 - 18)

^6:14Y ésta es la Ley de la ofrenda: Han de ofrecerla los hijos de Aarón delante de Jehová, delante del altar. ^6:15Y tomará de ella un puñado de la flor de harina del presente, y de su aceite, y todo el incienso que está sobre la ofrenda, y lo quemará sobre el altar por memorial, en olor grato a Jehová.

^6:16Y el sobrante de ella lo comerán Aarón y sus hijos: sin levadura se comerá en el lugar santo; en el atrio del Tabernáculo de la congregación lo comerán. ^6:17No se cocerá con levadura.

La he dado a ellos por su porción de mis ofrendas encendidas.

Es cosa santísima, como la expiación por el pecado, y como la expiación por la culpa. ^6:18Todos los varones de los hijos de Aarón comerán de ella.

Estatuto perpetuo será para vuestras generaciones tocante a las ofrendas encendidas de Jehová: toda cosa que tocare en ellas será santificada’”.

^6:19Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^6:20“Ésta es la ofrenda de Aarón y de sus hijos, que ofrecerán a Jehová el día que serán ungidos: la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina, ofrenda perpetua, la mitad a la mañana y la mitad a la tarde. ^6:21En sartén se aderezará con aceite; frita la traerás, y los pedazos cocidos de la ofrenda ofrecerás en olor grato a Jehová. ^6:22Y el sacerdote que en lugar de Aarón fuere ungido de entre sus hijos, hará la ofrenda.

Es Estatuto perpetuo de Jehová; toda ella será quemada. ^6:23Y toda ofrenda de sacerdote será enteramente quemada; no se comerá”.

^6:24Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^6:25“Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos, diciendo, ‘Ésta es la Ley de la expiación: en el lugar donde será degollado el holocausto, será degollada la expiación por el pecado delante de Jehová: es cosa santísima. ^6:26El sacerdote que la ofreciere por expiación, la comerá: en el lugar santo será comida, en el atrio del Tabernáculo de la congregación. ^6:27Todo lo que en su carne tocare, será santificado; y si salpicare de su sangre sobre alguna vestidura, lavarás aquello sobre que cayere, en el lugar santo. ^6:28Y la vasija de barro en que fuere cocida, será quebrada: y si fuere cocida en vasija de bronce, será fregada y lavada con agua. ^6:29Todo varón de entre los sacerdotes la comerá: es cosa santísima. ^6:30Pero no se comerá de expiación alguna, de cuya sangre se metiere en el Tabernáculo de la congregación para reconciliar en el Santuario: al fuego será quemada.

^7:1Asimismo ésta es la Ley de la expiación de la culpa; es cosa muy santa. ^7:2En el lugar donde degollaren el holocausto, degollarán la víctima por la culpa; y rociará su sangre en derredor sobre el altar. ^7:3Y de ella ofrecerá todo su grosura, la cola, y la grosura que cubre los intestinos. ^7:4Y los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y la que está sobre los ijares; y con los riñones quitará la grosura de sobre el hígado. ^7:5Y el sacerdote lo quemará sobre el altar como ofrenda encendida a Jehová; es expiación de la culpa. ^7:6Todo varón de entre los sacerdotes la comerá; será comida en el lugar santo; es cosa muy santa. ^7:7Como la expiación por el pecado, así es la expiación de la culpa: una misma Ley tendrán; será del sacerdote que habrá hecho la reconciliación con ella. ^7:8Y el sacerdote que ofreciere holocausto de alguno, la piel del holocausto que ofreciere, será para él. ^7:9Asimismo toda ofrenda que se cociere en horno, y todo lo que fuere aderezado en sartén, o en cazuela, será del sacerdote que lo ofreciere. ^7:10Y toda ofrenda amasada con aceite, y seca, será de todos los hijos de Aarón, tanto al uno como al otro.

^7:11Y ésta es la Ley del sacrificio de paz, que se ofrecerá a Jehová: ^7:12si se ofreciere en acción de gracias, ofrecerá por sacrificio de acción de gracias tortas sin levadura amasadas con aceite, y hojaldres sin levadura untadas con aceite, y flor de harina frita en tortas amasadas con aceite. ^7:13Con tortas de pan leudo ofrecerá su ofrenda en el sacrificio de acción de gracias de sus ofrendas de paz. ^7:14Y de toda la ofrenda presentará una parte por ofrenda elevada a Jehová, y será del sacerdote que rociare la sangre de los sacrificios de paz. ^7:15Y la carne del sacrificio de paz en acción de gracias, se comerá en el día que fuere ofrecida; no dejarán de ella nada para otro día. ^7:16Pero si el sacrificio de su ofrenda fuere voto, o voluntario, el día que ofreciere su sacrificio será comido; y lo que de él quedare, se ha de comer el día siguiente: ^7:17y lo que quedare para el tercer día de la carne del sacrificio, será quemado en el fuego. ^7:18Y si se comiere de la carne del sacrificio de paz al tercer día, el que lo ofreciere no será acepto, ni le será contado; abominación será, y la persona que de él comiere llevará su pecado.

^7:22Habló aún Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^7:23“Habla a los hijos de Israel, diciendo, ‘Ninguna grosura de buey, ni de cordero, ni de cabra, comeréis.

^7:24La grosura de animal muerto, y la grosura del que fue despedazado por fieras podrá servir para cualquier otro uso, pero no lo comeréis: ^7:25porque cualquiera que comiere grosura de animal, del cual se ofrece a Jehová ofrenda encendida, la persona que lo comiere, será cortada de entre su pueblo.

^7:26Además, ninguna sangre comeréis en todas vuestras habitaciones (así de aves como de bestias). ^7:27Cualquier persona que comiere alguna sangre, la tal persona será cortada de su pueblo’”.

¶El complemento   La porción de las ofrendas de paz que pertenecieron a Aarón y sus hijos (7:28 - 38)

^7:28Habló más Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^7:29“Habla a los hijos de Israel, diciendo, ‘El que ofreciere sacrificio de paz a Jehová, traerá su ofrenda del sacrificio de paz a Jehová; ^7:30sus manos traerán las ofrendas que se han de quemar a Jehová: traerá la grosura con el pecho; el pecho para que éste sea agitado, como sacrificio agitado delante de Jehová.

^7:31Y la grosura la quemará el sacerdote sobre el altar, pero el pecho será de Aarón y de sus hijos. ^7:32Y daréis al sacerdote para ser elevada en ofrenda, la espaldilla derecha de los sacrificios de vuestros sacrificios de paz. ^7:33El que de los hijos de Aarón ofreciere la sangre de los sacrificios de paz, y la grosura, tomará la espaldilla derecha como su porción: ^7:34porque he tomado de los hijos de Israel, de los sacrificios de paz, el pecho que se agita, y la espaldilla elevada en ofrenda, y lo he dado a Aarón el sacerdote y a sus hijos, por Estatuto perpetuo de los hijos de Israel’”.

^7:35Ésta es la porción de la unción de Aarón y la unción de sus hijos, la porción de ellos en las ofrendas encendidas a Jehová, desde el día que él los presentó para ser sacerdotes de Jehová;

^7:36lo cual mandó Jehová que les diesen, desde el día que él los ungió de entre los hijos de Israel, por Estatuto perpetuo por sus generaciones.

^7:37Ésta es la Ley del holocausto, de la ofrenda, de la expiación por el pecado, y de la culpa, y de las consagraciones, y del sacrificio de paz; ^7:38la cual Jehová mandó a Moisés, en el monte de Sinaí, el día que mandó a los hijos de Israel que ofreciesen sus ofrendas a Jehová en el desierto de Sinaí”.
