^1:1And Jehovah called to Moses; and he spoke to him out of the Tabernacle of the congregation, saying, ^1:2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘If any man of you brings an offering to Jehovah: you shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. ^1:3If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation before Jehovah. ^1:4And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. ^1:5And he shall kill the young bull before Jehovah. And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^1:6And he shall skin the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. ^1:7And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire. ^1:8And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar; ^1:9but he shall wash his innards and his legs in water. And the priest shall burn all of it on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah.

^1:10And if his offering is of the flocks (namely, of the sheep, or the goats) for a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring it a male without blemish. ^1:11And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before Jehovah. And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar. ^1:12And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat. And the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar; ^1:13but he shall wash the innards and the legs with water, and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah.

^1:14And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to Jehovah is of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. ^1:15And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be wrung out at the side of the altar. ^1:16And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes. ^1:17And he shall cleave it with its wings, but shall not divide it in pieces; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah.

^2:1And when any will offer a meal offering to Jehovah, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense on it. ^2:2And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests; and he shall take out of this his handful of its flour, and of its oil, with all its frankincense; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, as an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah. ^2:3And the remainder of the meal offerings shall be Aaron's and his sons'; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.

^2:4And if you bring an offering of a meal offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil. ^2:5And if your offering is a meal offering baked in a pan, it shall be of unleavened fine flour, mingled with oil. ^2:6You shall break it in pieces, and pour oil on it; it is a meal offering. ^2:7And if your offering is a meal offering made in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. ^2:8And you shall bring the meal offering that is made of these things to Jehovah; and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar. ^2:9And the priest shall take from the meal offering a memorial of it, and shall burn it upon the altar; it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah. ^2:10And that which is left of the meal offering shall be Aaron's and his sons'; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire. ^2:11No meal offering, which you shall bring to Jehovah, shall be made with leaven: for you shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of Jehovah made by fire.

¶Opposite   Firstfruits and peace offerings (2:12 - 3:17)

^2:12As for the offering of the firstfruits, you shall offer them to Jehovah, but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma. ^2:13And you shall season every offering of your meal offering with salt; neither shall you allow the salt of the Covenant of your God to be lacking from your meal offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

^2:14And if you offer a meal offering of your firstfruits to Jehovah, you shall offer for the meal offering of your firstfruits green ears of grain dried by the fire, even grain beaten out of full ears. ^2:15And you shall put oil upon it, and lay frankincense on it; it is a meal offering. ^2:16And the priest shall burn the memorial of it: some of the beaten grain of it, and some of its oil, with all its frankincense; it is an offering made by fire to Jehovah.

^3:1And if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, and if he offers it of the herd (whether it is a male or female), he shall offer it without blemish before Jehovah. ^3:2And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation; and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about it. ^3:3And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering as an offering made by fire to Jehovah: the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is upon the innards, ^3:4and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys. He shall take it all away; ^3:5and Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire; it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah.

^3:6And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to Jehovah is of the flock (male or female), he shall offer it without blemish. ^3:7If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Jehovah; ^3:8and he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood round about upon the altar. ^3:9And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering as an offering made by fire to Jehovah: the fat of it, and the whole rump (he shall take it off hard by the backbone), and the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is upon the innards, ^3:10and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys. He shall take it all away, ^3:11and the priest shall burn it upon the altar; it is the food of the offering made by fire to Jehovah.

^3:12And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Jehovah; ^3:13and he shall lay his hand upon its head, and kill it before the Tabernacle of the congregation; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood upon the altar round about it. ^3:14And he shall offer of it his offering as an offering made by fire to Jehovah: the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is upon the innards, ^3:15and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys. He shall take it away, ^3:16and the priest shall burn them upon the altar; it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet aroma. All the fat is Jehovah's; ^3:17it shall be a perpetual Statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that you eat neither fat nor blood.’”

^4:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^4:2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a person shall sin through ignorance against any of the Commandments of Jehovah concerning things which should not be done, and shall do anything against any of them; ^4:3or if the priest that is anointed sins according to the sin of the people, then let him bring for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without blemish to Jehovah for a sin offering. ^4:4And he shall bring the bull to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation before Jehovah; and he shall lay his hand upon the bull's head, and kill the bull before Jehovah. ^4:5And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bull's blood, and bring it to the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^4:6And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Jehovah, before the veil of the Sanctuary. ^4:7And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Jehovah (which is in the Tabernacle of the congregation); and he shall pour all the blood of the bull at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^4:8And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bull for the sin offering: the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is upon the innards, ^4:9and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them (which is by the flanks), and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys. He shall take it away, ^4:10as it was taken off from the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering. ^4:11And the skin of the bull, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his innards, and his dung, ^4:12even the whole bull he shall carry forth outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire; he shall be burned where the ashes are poured out.

^4:13And if the entire congregation of Israel sins through ignorance, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against any of the Commandments of Jehovah concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty: ^4:14when the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring him before the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^4:15And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bull before Jehovah; and the bull shall be killed before Jehovah. ^4:16And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bull's blood to the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^4:17And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Jehovah, even before the veil. ^4:18And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before Jehovah (that is in the Tabernacle of the congregation), and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation. ^4:19And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar. ^4:20And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull for a sin offering, so shall he do with this. And the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them. ^4:21And he shall carry forth the bull outside the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bull; it is a sin offering for the congregation.

^4:22When a ruler has sinned, and done something through ignorance against any of the Commandments of Jehovah his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty ^4:23(or if his sin, in which he has sinned, comes to his knowledge), he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish. ^4:24And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before Jehovah; it is a sin offering. ^4:25And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering. ^4:26And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings. And the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

^4:27And if any of the common people sins through ignorance, while he does something against any of the Commandments of Jehovah concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty ^4:28(or if his sin, which he has sinned, comes to his knowledge), then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has sinned. ^4:29And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. ^4:30And the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar. ^4:31And he shall take away all its fat (as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings), and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet aroma to Jehovah. And the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

^4:32And if he brings a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. ^4:33And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. ^4:34And the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar. ^4:35And he shall take away all its fat (as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings), and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to Jehovah. And the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

^5:1And if a person sins, and hears the voice of swearing, and is a witness (whether he has seen or known of it), if he does not tell it, then he shall bear his iniquity. ^5:2Or if a person touches any unclean thing (whether it is a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things), and if it is hidden from him, he also shall be unclean, and guilty; ^5:3or if he touches the uncleanness of man (whatsoever uncleanness it is that a man shall be defiled with), and it is hidden from him, when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty. ^5:4Or if a person swears, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good (whatsoever it is that a man shall pronounce with an oath), and it is hidden from him, when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

^5:5And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing; ^5:6and he shall bring his trespass offering to Jehovah for his sin which he has sinned (a female from the flock: a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering); and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

^5:7And if he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he has committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to Jehovah: one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. ^5:8And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it in pieces; ^5:9and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar; it is a sin offering.

^5:10And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the prescribed manner. And the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

^5:11But if he is not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it; neither shall he put any frankincense on it: for it is a sin offering. ^5:12Then he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial of it, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to Jehovah; it is a sin offering. ^5:13And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he has sinned in one of these; and it shall be forgiven him. And the remainder shall be the priest's, as a meal offering.’”

^5:14And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^5:15“If a person commits a trespass, and sins through ignorance in the holy things of Jehovah, then he shall bring for his trespass to Jehovah a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with your estimation by shekels of silver (after the shekel of the Sanctuary) for a trespass offering. ^5:16And he shall make amends for the harm that he has done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part to it, and give it to the priest. And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

^5:17And if a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the Commandments of Jehovah, though he did not know it, still he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. ^5:18And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest. And the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance in which he went astray and did not know it, and it shall be forgiven him. ^5:19It is a trespass offering; he has certainly trespassed against Jehovah.”

^6:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^6:2“If a person sins, and commits a trespass against Jehovah, and lies to his neighbor in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or has deceived his neighbor; ^6:3or has found that which was lost, and lies concerning it, and swears falsely (in any of all these that a man does, sinning in it), ^6:4then it shall be, because he has sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he violently took away, or the thing which he has deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, ^6:5or all that about which he has sworn falsely.

He shall even restore the principal, and shall add twenty percent more to it, and give it to him to whom it pertains, in the day of his trespass offering.

^6:6And he shall bring his trespass offering to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest. ^6:7And the priest shall make an atonement for him before Jehovah; and it shall be forgiven him for anything of all that he has done in trespassing in it.”

^2:12En la ofrenda de las primicias las ofreceréis a Jehová; pero no se quemarán en el altar en olor grato. ^2:13Y sazonarás con sal toda ofrenda de tu presente; y no harás que falte jamás de tu presente la sal del Pacto de tu Dios: en toda ofrenda tuya ofrecerás sal.

^2:14Y si ofrecieres a Jehová presente de primicias, tostarás al fuego las espigas verdes, y el grano desmenuzado ofrecerás por ofrenda de tus primicias. ^2:15Y pondrás sobre ella aceite, y pondrás sobre ella incienso; es ofrenda. ^2:16Y el sacerdote quemará el memorial de él, parte de su grano desmenuzado, y de su aceite con todo su incienso; es ofrenda encendida a Jehová.

^3:1Y si su ofrenda fuere sacrificio de paz, si hubiere de ofrecerlo de ganado vacuno, sea macho o hembra, sin defecto lo ofrecerá delante de Jehová. ^3:2Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de su ofrenda, y la degollará a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación; y los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, rociarán su sangre sobre el altar en derredor. ^3:3Luego ofrecerá del sacrificio de paz, por ofrenda encendida a Jehová, la grosura que cubre los intestinos, y toda la grosura que está sobre las entrañas, ^3:4y los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y sobre los ijares, y con los riñones quitará el redaño que está sobre el hígado. ^3:5Y los hijos de Aarón harán arder esto en el altar, sobre el holocausto que estará sobre la leña que habrá encima del fuego; es ofrenda de olor grato a Jehová.

^3:6Pero si de ovejas fuere su ofrenda para sacrificio de paz a Jehová, sea macho o hembra, la ofrecerá sin defecto. ^3:7Si ofreciere cordero por su ofrenda, ha de ofrecerlo delante de Jehová; ^3:8y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de su ofrenda, y después la degollará delante del Tabernáculo de la congregación; y los hijos de Aarón rociarán su sangre sobre el altar en derredor. ^3:9Y del sacrificio de paz ofrecerá por ofrenda encendida a Jehová, su grosura, la cola entera, la cual quitará a raíz del espinazo, la grosura que cubre los intestinos, y toda la grosura que está sobre las entrañas. ^3:10Asimismo los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y la que está sobre los ijares, y con los riñones quitará el redaño de sobre el hígado. ^3:11Y el sacerdote quemará esto sobre el altar; vianda de ofrenda encendida a Jehová.

^3:12Y si fuere cabra su ofrenda la ofrecerá delante de Jehová; ^3:13y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de ella, y la degollará delante del Tabernáculo de la congregación; y los hijos de Aarón rociarán su sangre sobre el altar en derredor. ^3:14Después ofrecerá de ella su ofrenda encendida a Jehová; la grosura que cubre los intestinos, y toda la grosura que está sobre las entrañas, ^3:15y los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y la que está sobre los ijares, y con los riñones quitará el redaño de sobre el hígado. ^3:16Y el sacerdote quemará esto sobre el altar; es vianda de ofrenda que se quema en olor de suavidad a Jehová; toda la grosura es de Jehová. ^3:17Será un estatuto perpetuo para vuestras generaciones en todas vuestras casas, que no comas grasa ni sangre’”.

§El complemento   Cuerpo: Los pecados de la ignorancia y sus sacrificios apropiados de animales bajo el Antiguo Pacto (4:1 - 35)

^4:1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^4:2“Habla a los hijos de Israel, diciendo, ‘Cuando alguna persona pecare por yerro en alguno de los Mandamientos de Jehová sobre cosas que no se han de hacer, y obrare contra alguno de ellos; ^4:3si un sacerdote ungido pecare según el pecado del pueblo, ofrecerá a Jehová, por su pecado que habrá cometido, un becerro sin defecto como ofrenda por el pecado. ^4:4Y traerá el becerro a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación delante de Jehová, y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del becerro, y lo degollará delante de Jehová. ^4:5Y el sacerdote ungido tomará de la sangre del becerro, y la traerá al Tabernáculo de la congregación; ^4:6y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la sangre, y rociará de aquella sangre siete veces delante de Jehová, hacia el velo del Santuario. ^4:7Y el sacerdote pondrá de esa sangre sobre los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático, que está en el Tabernáculo de la congregación delante de Jehová; y echará toda la sangre del becerro al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación. ^4:8Y tomará del becerro para la expiación toda la grosura, la grosura que cubre los intestinos, y toda la grosura que está sobre las entrañas, ^4:9y los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y la que está sobre los ijares, y con los riñones quitará el redaño de sobre el hígado, ^4:10de la manera que fue quitado del buey del sacrificio de paz; y el sacerdote lo quemará sobre el altar del holocausto. ^4:11Y la piel del becerro, y toda su carne, con su cabeza, y sus piernas, y sus intestinos, y su estiércol. ^4:12En fin, todo el becerro sacará fuera del campamento, a un lugar limpio, donde se echan las cenizas, y lo quemará al fuego sobre la leña: en donde se echan las cenizas será quemado.

^4:13Y si toda la congregación de Israel hubiere errado, y el asunto estuviere oculto a los ojos del pueblo, y hubieren hecho algo contra alguno de los Mandamientos de Jehová en cosas que no se han de hacer, y fueren culpables; ^4:14luego que fuere entendido el pecado sobre que delinquieron, la congregación ofrecerá un becerro por expiación, y lo traerán delante del Tabernáculo de la congregación. ^4:15Y los Ancianos de la congregación pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del becerro delante de Jehová; y en presencia de Jehová degollarán aquel becerro. ^4:16Y el sacerdote ungido meterá de la sangre del becerro en el Tabernáculo de la congregación. ^4:17Y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la misma sangre, y la rociará siete veces delante de Jehová hacia el velo. ^4:18Y de aquella sangre pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar que está delante de Jehová en el Tabernáculo de la congregación, y derramará toda la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación. ^4:19Y le quitará toda la grosura, y la quemará sobre el altar. ^4:20Y hará de aquel becerro como hizo con el becerro de la expiación; lo mismo hará de él. Así hará el sacerdote expiación por ellos, y obtendrán perdón. ^4:21Y sacará el becerro fuera del campamento, y lo quemará como quemó el primer becerro; es expiación por la congregación.

^4:22Y cuando un príncipe pecare, e hiciere por yerro algo contra alguno de todos los Mandamientos de Jehová su Dios, sobre cosas que no se han de hacer, y es culpable; ^4:23luego que le sea conocido su pecado en que ha delinquido, presentará como su ofrenda un macho cabrío sin defecto. ^4:24Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío, y lo degollará en el lugar donde se degüella el holocausto delante de Jehová; es expiación. ^4:25Y tomará el sacerdote con su dedo de la sangre de la expiación, y pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto. ^4:26Y quemará toda su grosura sobre el altar, como la grosura del sacrificio de paz; así hará el sacerdote por él la expiación de su pecado, y tendrá perdón.

^4:27Y si alguno del pueblo común pecare por yerro, haciendo algo contra alguno de los Mandamientos de Jehová en cosas que no se han de hacer, y es culpable; ^4:28luego que le sea conocido su pecado que cometió, traerá como su ofrenda una cabra, una cabra sin defecto, por su pecado que habrá cometido. ^4:29Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la expiación, y la degollará en el lugar del holocausto. ^4:30Y el sacerdote tomará con su dedo de la sangre, y pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará toda la sangre al pie del altar. ^4:31Y le quitará toda su grosura (de la manera que fue quitada la grosura del sacrificio de paz), y el sacerdote la quemará sobre el altar en olor de suavidad a Jehová; así hará el sacerdote expiación por él, y será perdonado.

^4:32Y si trajere oveja para su ofrenda por el pecado, hembra sin defecto traerá. ^4:33Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la expiación, y la degollará por expiación en el lugar donde se degüella el holocausto. ^4:34Después tomará el sacerdote con su dedo de la sangre de la expiación, y pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto; y derramará toda la sangre al pie del altar. ^4:35Y le quitará toda la grosura, como le es quitada la grosura al cordero del sacrificio de paz, y el sacerdote la quemará en el altar sobre la ofrenda encendida a Jehová. Y le hará el sacerdote expiación de su pecado que hubiere cometido, y le será perdonado.

§Único   Conclusión: Pecados de transgresión y la ofrenda y / o compensación apropiada (5:1 - 6:7)

¶El complemento   Los pecados de transgresión y su sacrificio animal apropiado bajo el Antiguo Pacto (5:1 - 13)

^5:1Y si alguna persona pecare, que hubiere oído la voz del que juró, y él fuere testigo que vio, o supo, si no lo denunciare, él llevará su pecado. ^5:2Asimismo la persona que hubiere tocado en cualquiera cosa inmunda, sea cuerpo muerto de bestia inmunda, o cuerpo muerto de animal inmundo, o cuerpo muerto de reptil inmundo, bien que no lo supiere, será inmunda y habrá delinquido. ^5:3O si tocare a hombre inmundo en cualquiera inmundicia suya de que es inmundo, y no lo echare de ver; si después llega a saberlo, será culpable. ^5:4También la persona que jurare, pronunciando con sus labios hacer mal o bien, en cualquiera cosa que el hombre profiere con juramento, y él no lo conociere; si después lo entiende, será culpable de una de estas cosas.

^5:5Y será que cuando llegare a ser culpable de alguna de estas cosas, confesará aquello en que pecó; ^5:6y para su expiación presentará a Jehová, por su pecado que ha cometido, una hembra de los rebaños, una cordera o una cabra como ofrenda de expiación; y el sacerdote hará expiación por él de su pecado.

^5:7Y si no le alcanzare para un cordero, traerá en expiación por su pecado que cometió, dos tórtolas o dos palominos a Jehová; uno para expiación, y el otro para holocausto. ^5:8Y ha de traerlos al sacerdote, el cual ofrecerá primero el que es para expiación, y desunirá su cabeza de su cuello, pero no la apartará del todo. ^5:9Y rociará de la sangre de la expiación sobre la pared del altar; y lo que sobrare de la sangre lo exprimirá al pie del altar; es expiación.

^5:10Y ofrecerá el segundo por holocausto conforme al rito; y el sacerdote hará expiación por él, por el pecado que cometió, y le será perdonado.

^5:11Pero si su posibilidad no alcanzare para dos tórtolas, o dos palominos, el que pecó traerá por su ofrenda la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina por expiación. No pondrá sobre ella aceite, ni sobre ella pondrá incienso: porque es expiación. ^5:12La traerá, pues, al sacerdote, y el sacerdote tomará de ella su puño lleno, en memoria suya, y la quemará en el altar sobre las ofrendas encendidas a Jehová: es expiación. ^5:13Y hará el sacerdote expiación por él de su pecado que cometió en alguna de estas cosas, y será perdonado; y el sobrante será del sacerdote, como el presente de vianda’”.

¶El complemento   Pecados de transgresión y restauración adecuada y indemnización a la persona perjudicada (5:14 - 6:7)

^5:14Habló más Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^5:15“Cuando alguna persona cometiere falta, y pecare por yerro en las cosas santificadas a Jehová, traerá su expiación a Jehová, un carnero sin defecto de los rebaños, conforme a tu estimación, en siclos de plata del siclo del Santuario, en ofrenda por el pecado. ^5:16Y pagará aquello de las cosas santas en que hubiere pecado, y añadirá a ello la quinta parte, y lo dará al sacerdote: y el sacerdote hará expiación por él con el carnero del sacrificio por el pecado, y será perdonado.

^5:17Finalmente, si una persona pecare, o hiciere alguna de todas aquellas cosas que por mandamiento de Jehová no se han de hacer, aun sin hacerlo a sabiendas, es culpable, y llevará su pecado. ^5:18Traerá, pues, al sacerdote por expiación, según tú lo estimes, un carnero sin defecto de los rebaños: y el sacerdote hará expiación por él de su yerro que cometió por ignorancia, y será perdonado. ^5:19Es transgresión, y ciertamente delinquió contra Jehová”.

^6:1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^6:2“Cuando una persona pecare e hiciere prevaricación contra Jehová, y negare a su prójimo lo encomendado o dejado en su mano, o robare, o engañare a su prójimo; ^6:3o que habiendo hallado lo que estaba perdido mintiere acerca de ello, y jurare en falso (en alguna de todas aquellas cosas en que suele pecar el hombre), ^6:4entonces será: porque habrá pecado y es culpable, que restituirá aquello que robó, o lo que obtuvo por engaño, o el depósito que se le encomendó, o lo perdido que halló, ^6:5o todo aquello sobre lo que hubiere jurado falsamente.

Lo restituirá, pues, por entero, y añadirá a ello la quinta parte, que ha de pagar a aquel a quien pertenece, en el día de su expiación.

^6:6Y por su expiación traerá a Jehová un carnero sin defecto de los rebaños, conforme a tu estimación, al sacerdote para la expiación. ^6:7Y el sacerdote hará expiación por él delante de Jehová, y obtendrá perdón de cualquiera de todas las cosas en que suele ofender”.
