¶Complement   Jehovah gave the design of the outer parts of the Tabernacle building (26:1 - 37)

^26:1Moreover you shall make the Tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, blue, purple, and scarlet; you shall make them with cherubim of artistic work. ^26:2The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; and every one of the curtains shall have the same measure. ^26:3The first five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled one to another. ^26:4And you shall make loops of blue upon the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise you shall make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. ^26:5You shall make fifty loops in one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second, so that the loops may take hold one of another. ^26:6And you shall make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches; and it shall be one Tabernacle.

^26:7And you shall make curtains of goats’ hair to be a covering upon the Tabernacle; you shall make eleven curtains. ^26:8The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; and the eleven curtains shall all be of the same measure. ^26:9And you shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the Tabernacle. ^26:10And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which couples the second. ^26:11And you shall make fifty taches of bronze, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, so that it may be one. ^26:12And the remnant that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the backside of the Tabernacle. ^26:13And one cubit on one side, and one cubit on the other side of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the Tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. ^26:14And you shall make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers’ skins.

^26:15And you shall make boards for the Tabernacle of acacia wood standing up. ^26:16Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and one and a half cubits shall be the breadth of one board. ^26:17There shall be two tenons in one board, set in order one against another; thus shall you make for all the boards of the Tabernacle. ^26:18And you shall make the boards for the Tabernacle: twenty boards on the south side southward. ^26:19And you shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons. ^26:20And for the second side of the Tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards, ^26:21and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. ^26:22And for the sides of the Tabernacle westward you shall make six boards. ^26:23And you shall make two boards for the corners of the Tabernacle in the two sides; ^26:24and they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above its head into one ring; thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. ^26:25And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. ^26:26And you shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of one side of the Tabernacle, ^26:27and five bars for the boards of the other side of the Tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the Tabernacle, for the two sides westward. ^26:28And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end. ^26:29And you shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars; and you shall overlay the bars with gold. ^26:30And you shall set up the Tabernacle according to the design of it which was shown you in the mountain.

^26:31And you shall make a veil of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen of artistic work; it shall be made with cherubim. ^26:32And you shall hang it upon four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. ^26:33And you shall hang up the veil under the taches, so that you may bring in there the Ark of the Testimony within the veil; and the veil shall divide to you between the holy place and the most holy. ^26:34And you shall put the mercy seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the most holy place. ^26:35And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the Tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.

^26:36And you shall make a hanging for the door of the tent: of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, worked with needlework. ^26:37And you shall make five pillars of acacia wood for the hanging, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold; and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.

¶Opposite   Jehovah gave gave the design of the altar for animal sacrifices (27:1 - 8)

^27:1And you shall make an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad (the altar shall be foursquare); and its height shall be three cubits. ^27:2And you shall make its horns upon its four corners (his horns shall be of the same); and you shall overlay it with bronze.

^27:3And you shall make his pans to receive his ashes; and his shovels, and his basins, and his fleshhooks, and his fire pans: all its vessels you shall make of bronze.

^27:4And you shall make a grate of network of bronze for it; and upon the net shall you make four bronze rings in its four corners. ^27:5And you shall put it under the border of the altar beneath, so that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.

^27:6And you shall make poles for the altar: poles of acacia wood; and overlay them with bronze. ^27:7And the poles shall be put into the rings, and the poles shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to carry it.

^27:8You shall make it hollow with boards: as it was shown you in the mountain, so shall they make it.

¶Opposite   Jehovah gave gave the design of the court of the Tabernacle (27:9 - 19)

^27:9And you shall make the court of the Tabernacle: for the south side southward, there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of one hundred cubits long for one side; ^27:10and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets shall be of bronze: the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. ^27:11And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of one hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of bronze: the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. ^27:12And for the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. ^27:13And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.

^27:14The hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three. ^27:15And on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three. ^27:16And for the gate of the court shall be a hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, worked with needlework; and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.

^27:17All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their sockets of bronze.

^27:18The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty everywhere, and the height five cubits of fine twined linen; and their sockets of bronze.

^27:19All the vessels of the Tabernacle in all its service, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, shall be of bronze.

¶Complement   The holy garments of the high priest (27:20 - 28:4)

^27:20And you shall command the children of Israel, that they bring you pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.

^27:21In the Tabernacle of the congregation outside the veil, which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before Jehovah. It shall be a Statute forever to their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

^28:1And take Aaron your brother to you, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

^28:2And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother for glory and for beauty. ^28:3And you shall speak to all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the Spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

^28:4And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a checkered coat, a miter, and a belt. And they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

¶Complement   The holy regalia of the high priest (28:5 - 43)

^28:5And they shall take gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen; ^28:6and they shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, with artistic work. ^28:7It shall have its two shoulder pieces joined at its two edges; and so shall it be joined together. ^28:8And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to its work: even of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen. ^28:9And you shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel: ^28:10six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to the order of their birth. ^28:11With the work of an inscriber in stone, like the inscriptions of a seal-ring, shall you inscribe the two stones with the names of the children of Israel; you shall make them to be set in settings of gold. ^28:12And you shall put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial to the children of Israel, and Aaron shall carry their names before Jehovah upon his two shoulders for a memorial. ^28:13And you shall make settings of gold, ^28:14and two chains of pure gold at the ends; you shall make them of wreathen work, and fasten the wreathen chains to the settings.

^28:15And you shall make the breastplate of judgment with artistic work; after the work of the ephod you shall make it: of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shall you make it. ^28:16Foursquare it shall be being doubled: a span shall be its length, and a span shall be its breadth. ^28:17And you shall set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle; this shall be the first row. ^28:18And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond. ^28:19And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst. ^28:20And the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be set in gold in their inclosings. ^28:21And the stones shall be engraved with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the inscriptions of a seal-ring: every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes. ^28:22And you shall make chains upon the breastplate at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold. ^28:23And you shall make two rings of gold upon the breastplate, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. ^28:24And you shall put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate. ^28:25And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains you shall fasten in the two settings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod before it. ^28:26And you shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in its border, which is in the side of the ephod inward. ^28:27And you shall make two other rings of gold, and shall put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward its forepart, over against its other coupling, above the curious girdle of the ephod. ^28:28And they shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate not be loosed from the ephod. ^28:29And Aaron shall carry the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goes into the holy place, for a memorial before Jehovah continually. ^28:30And you shall put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate of judgment; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before Jehovah; and Aaron shall carry the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before Jehovah continually.

^28:31And you shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue. ^28:32And there shall be a hole in its top, in its midst. It shall have a binding of woven work round about its hole, as it were the hole of a habergeon, so that it will not tear. ^28:33And beneath upon its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet, round about its hem; and bells of gold between them round about: ^28:34a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about. ^28:35And it shall be upon Aaron to minister; and his sound shall be heard when he goes into the holy place before Jehovah, and when he comes out, so that he does not die.

^28:36And you shall make a plate of pure gold; and engrave upon it, like the inscriptions of a seal-ring, ‘HOLINESS TO JEHOVAH.’ ^28:37And you shall put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the miter: it shall be upon the forefront of the miter. ^28:38And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, so that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before Jehovah.

^28:39And you shall embroider the coat of fine linen; and you shall make the miter of fine linen, and you shall make the belt of needlework. ^28:40And for Aaron’s sons you shall make coats. And you shall make belts for them; and you shall make caps for them, for glory and for beauty. ^28:41And you shall put them upon Aaron your brother, and his sons with him; and you shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. ^28:42And you shall make them linen undergarments to cover their nakedness; they shall reach from the waist even to the thighs. ^28:43And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come into the Tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they do not bear iniquity, and die. It shall be a Statute forever to him and his seed after him.”

^26:31Y harás también un velo de azul, y púrpura, y carmesí, y de lino torcido: será hecho de obra de arte, con querubines. ^26:32Y has de ponerlo sobre cuatro columnas de madera de acacia cubiertas de oro; sus capiteles de oro, sobre bases de plata. ^26:33Y pondrás el velo debajo de los corchetes, y meterás allí, del velo adentro, el Arca del Testimonio; y aquel velo os hará separación entre el lugar santo y el lugar santísimo. ^26:34Y pondrás el propiciatorio sobre el Arca del Testimonio en el lugar santísimo. ^26:35Y pondrás la mesa fuera del velo, y el candelero enfrente de la mesa al lado sur del Tabernáculo; y pondrás la mesa al lado del norte.

^26:36Y harás a la puerta del Tabernáculo una cortina de azul, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido, obra de bordador. ^26:37Y harás para la cortina cinco columnas de madera de acacia, las cuales cubrirás de oro, con sus capiteles de oro: y les harás cinco bases de bronce fundido.

^27:1Harás también un altar de madera de acacia de cinco codos de longitud, y de cinco codos de anchura (será cuadrado el altar), y su altura de tres codos. ^27:2Y harás sus cuernos a sus cuatro esquinas (los cuernos serán de lo mismo), y lo cubrirás de bronce.

^27:3Harás también sus calderas para echar su ceniza; y sus paletas, y sus tazones, y sus garfios, y sus braseros: harás todos sus vasos de bronce.

^27:4Y le harás un enrejado de bronce de obra de malla; y sobre el enrejado harás cuatro anillos de bronce a sus cuatro esquinas. ^27:5Y lo has de poner dentro del cerco del altar abajo; y llegará el enrejado hasta el medio del altar.

^27:6Harás también varas para el altar, varas de madera de acacia, las cuales cubrirás de bronce. ^27:7Y sus varas se meterán por los anillos: y estarán aquellas varas a ambos lados del altar, para ser llevado.

^27:8De tablas lo harás, hueco: de la manera que te fue mostrado en el monte, así lo harás.

^27:9Y harás el atrio del Tabernáculo; para el lado del mediodía, hacia el sur; tendrá el atrio cortinas de lino torcido, de cien codos de longitud para un lado; ^27:10y sus veinte columnas, y sus veinte bases serán de bronce; los capiteles de las columnas y sus molduras, de plata. ^27:11Y de la misma manera al lado del norte habrá a lo largo cortinas de cien codos de longitud, y sus veinte columnas, con sus veinte bases de bronce; los capiteles de sus columnas y sus molduras, de plata. ^27:12Y el ancho del atrio del lado occidental tendrá cortinas de cincuenta codos; sus columnas diez, con sus diez bases. ^27:13Y en el ancho del atrio por el lado del oriente, al este, habrá cincuenta codos.

^27:14Y las cortinas de un lado de la entrada serán de quince codos; sus columnas tres, con sus tres bases. ^27:15Al otro lado quince codos de cortinas; sus columnas tres, con sus tres bases. ^27:16Y a la puerta del atrio habrá una cortina de veinte codos, de azul, púrpura y carmesí, y lino torcido, de obra de bordador; cuatro serán sus columnas y cuatro sus bases.

^27:17Todas las columnas del atrio en derredor serán ceñidas de plata; sus capiteles de plata, y sus bases de bronce.

^27:18La longitud del atrio será de cien codos, y la anchura cincuenta por un lado y cincuenta por el otro, y la altura de cinco codos: sus cortinas de lino torcido, y sus bases de bronce.

^27:20Y tú mandarás a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas machacadas para el alumbrado, para hacer arder las lámparas continuamente.

^27:21En el Tabernáculo de la congregación, afuera del velo que está delante del Testimonio, las pondrá en orden Aarón y sus hijos, delante de Jehová desde la tarde hasta la mañana. Será Estatuto perpetuo de los hijos de Israel por sus generaciones.

^28:1Y tú haz llegar a ti a Aarón tu hermano, y a sus hijos consigo, de entre los hijos de Israel, para que sean mis sacerdotes; a Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar, hijos de Aarón.

^28:5Tomarán oro, y azul, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido; ^28:6y harán el efod de oro y azul, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido de obra de arte. ^28:7Tendrá dos hombreras que se junten a sus dos lados, y se juntará. ^28:8Y el artificio de su cinto que está sobre él, será de su misma obra, de lo mismo; de oro, azul, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido. ^28:9Y tomarás dos piedras de ónice, y grabarás en ellas los nombres de los hijos de Israel: ^28:10seis de sus nombres en una piedra, y los otros seis nombres en la otra piedra, conforme al nacimiento de ellos. ^28:11De obra de escultor en piedra a modo de grabaduras de sello, harás grabar aquellas dos piedras con los nombres de los hijos de Israel; les harás alrededor engastes de oro. ^28:12Y pondrás aquellas dos piedras sobre los hombros del efod, para piedras de memoria a los hijos de Israel; y Aarón llevará los nombres de ellos delante de Jehová en sus dos hombros por memoria. ^28:13Harás pues, engastes de oro, ^28:14y dos cadenillas de oro fino; las cuales harás de hechura de trenza; y fijarás las cadenas de hechura de trenza en los engastes.

^28:15Y harás el pectoral del juicio de obra de arte; lo harás conforme a la obra del efod; lo harás de oro, azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino fino torcido. ^28:16Será cuadrado y doble, de un palmo de largo y un palmo de ancho. ^28:17Y lo llenarás de pedrería con cuatro hileras de piedras. La primera hilera de una piedra sárdica, un topacio y un carbunclo; esta será la primera hilera. ^28:18La segunda hilera, una esmeralda, un zafiro y un diamante. ^28:19La tercera hilera, un jacinto, un ágata y una amatista. ^28:20Y la cuarta hilera, un berilo, un ónice y un jaspe. Estarán montadas en engastes de oro. ^28:21Y las piedras serán con los nombres de los hijos de Israel, doce según sus nombres; como grabaduras de sello cada una con su nombre, serán según las doce tribus. ^28:22Y harás sobre el pectoral cadenillas de hechura de trenzas de oro puro. ^28:23Y harás en el pectoral dos anillos de oro, y pondrás los dos anillos a los dos extremos del pectoral. ^28:24Y pondrás las dos trenzas de oro en los dos anillos a los dos extremos del pectoral. ^28:25Y pondrás los dos extremos de las dos trenzas sobre los dos engastes, y los colocarás a los lados del efod en la parte delantera. ^28:26Harás también dos anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás a los dos extremos del pectoral, en el borde que está al lado del efod hacia adentro. ^28:27Harás asimismo dos anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás a los dos lados del efod abajo en la parte delantera, delante de su juntura sobre el cinto del efod. ^28:28Y juntarán el pectoral por sus anillos a los anillos del efod con un cordón de jacinto, para que esté sobre el cinto del efod, y no se aparte el pectoral del efod. ^28:29Y llevará Aarón los nombres de los hijos de Israel en el pectoral del juicio sobre su corazón, cuando entrare en el santuario, para memoria delante de Jehová continuamente. ^28:30Y pondrás en el pectoral del juicio Urim y Tumim, para que estén sobre el corazón de Aarón cuando entrare delante de Jehová; y llevará siempre Aarón el juicio de los hijos de Israel sobre su corazón delante de Jehová.

^28:31Harás el manto del efod todo de azul, ^28:32y en medio de él por arriba habrá una abertura, la cual tendrá un borde alrededor de obra de tejedor, como el cuello de un coselete, para que no se rompa. ^28:33Y abajo en sus orillas harás granadas de azul, y púrpura, y carmesí, por sus bordes alrededor; y entre ellas campanillas de oro alrededor. ^28:34Una campanilla de oro y una granada, campanilla de oro y granada, por las orillas del manto alrededor. ^28:35Y estará sobre Aarón cuando ministrare; y se oirá su sonido cuando él entrare en el santuario delante de Jehová y cuando saliere, para que no muera.

^28:36Harás además una plancha de oro fino, y grabarás en ella grabadura de sello, ‘SANTIDAD A JEHOVÁ’. ^28:37Y la pondrás con un cordón de azul, y estará sobre la mitra; por el frente anterior de la mitra estará. ^28:38Y estará sobre la frente de Aarón: y llevará Aarón el pecado de las cosas santas, que los hijos de Israel hubieren consagrado en todas sus santas ofrendas; y sobre su frente estará continuamente para que hallen gracia delante de Jehová.

^28:39Y bordarás una túnica de lino fino, y harás una mitra de lino fino; harás también un cinto de obra de bordador. ^28:40Y para los hijos de Aarón harás túnicas; también les harás cintos, y les formarás tiaras para gloria y hermosura. ^28:41Y con ellos vestirás a Aarón tu hermano, y a sus hijos con él: y los ungirás, y los consagrarás, y santificarás, para que sean mis sacerdotes. ^28:42Y les harás calzoncillos de lino para cubrir su desnudez; serán desde los lomos hasta los muslos. ^28:43Y estarán sobre Aarón y sobre sus hijos cuando entraren en el Tabernáculo de la congregación, o cuando se acercaren al altar para servir en el santuario, para que no lleven pecado y mueran. Estatuto perpetuo para él, y para su simiente después de él”.
