U Book 3.5: Jesus shall rule the New Covenant Kingdom of Zion when He returns in glory

C Part 1: The Lord Jehovah is coming to judge the world and the people with righteousness

U Chapter 1.1: Jehovah reigns in Zion (Psalm 99)

U Introduction

U Jehovah is reigning; let the people tremble; he sits between the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

C Jehovah is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

C Let them praise your great and dreadful Name: for it is holy.

C Body

O The kings strength also loves judgment; you establish equity; you execute judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

O Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool: for he is holy.

C Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his Name.

C They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

U He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar; they kept his Testimonies, and the Ordinance that he gave them.

C Conclusion

C You answered them, O Jehovah our God.

C You were a God that forgave them, though you took vengeance of their inventions.

U Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his holy hill: for Jehovah our God is holy.

C Chapter 1.2: Jehovah reigns with great power (Psalm 97)

U Introduction

U Jehovah is reigning; let the earth rejoice, and let the multitude of isles be glad.

C Clouds and darkness surround him; righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

C A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about him.

C Body

U His lightning lightened the world; the earth saw it, and trembled.

C The hills melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

C The heavens declare his righteousness; and all the people see his glory.

O Ashamed are all they that serve carved images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all you gods.

O Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your Judgments, O Jehovah: for you, Jehovah, are high above all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.

C Conclusion

C You that love Jehovah, hate evil; he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

C Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

U Rejoice in Jehovah, you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

C Chapter 1.3: Jehovah reigns from all Eternity (Psalm 93)

U Introduction

U Jehovah is reigning.

C He is clothed with majesty.

C Jehovah is clothed with strength, with which he has girded himself.

C Body

U The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

C Your throne is established of old.

C You are from Eternity past.

O The rivers have lifted up, O Jehovah, the rivers have lifted up their voice;

O the rivers lift up their waves.

C Conclusion

C Jehovah on high is mightier than the sound of many waters; even the mighty waves of the sea.

C Your Testimonies are very sure.

U Holiness adorns your House, O Jehovah, forever.

O Chapter 1.4: Fear the coming of Jehovah God to judge the world (Psalm 96)

U O sing to Jehovah a new song; sing to Jehovah, all the earth. Sing to Jehovah; bless his Name. Show forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, and his wonders among all people: for Jehovah is great, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods: for all the gods of the nations are mere idols; but Jehovah made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his Sanctuary.

C Give to Jehovah, O you kindreds of the people, give to Jehovah glory and strength.

C Give to Jehovah the glory due to his Name; bring an offering, and come into his courts.

O O worship Jehovah in the beauty of holiness; fear before him, all the earth. Say among the heathen that Jehovah is reigning; the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved. He shall judge the people righteously.

O Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and everything in it. Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice before Jehovah: for he is coming, for he is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

O Chapter 1.5: Celebrate the coming of Jehovah God to judge the world (Psalm 98)

O O sing to Jehovah a new song: for he has done marvelous things; his right hand, and his holy arm, has gotten him the victory.

O Jehovah has made known his salvation; his righteousness has he openly shown in the sight of the heathen. He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

C Make a joyful sound to Jehovah, all the earth; make a loud sound, rejoice, and sing praise.

C Sing to Jehovah with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful sound before Jehovah, the King.

U Let the sea roar, and everything in it; the world, and they that dwell in it. Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before Jehovah: for he is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

C Part 2: The Lord Jesus Christ will rule the world as the King of Zion

U Chapter 2.1: The King of Zion will marry his Gentile bride (Psalm 45)

U Introduction

U My heart expresses pleasant words.

C I speak of the things which I have made touching the King.

C My tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

C Body

O You are fairer than the children of men; grace is poured into your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever.

O Gird your sword upon your thigh, O most mighty, with your glory and your majesty. And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you dreadful things. Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the Kings enemies; therefore the people fall under you.

C Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of your Kingdom is a righteous scepter.

C You love righteousness, and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions.

U All your garments smell of myrrh, aloes, and cassia; out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made you glad.

C Conclusion

C Kings daughters were among your honorable women; upon your right hand stood the queen in gold of Ophir.

C Listen, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear: forget also your own people, and your fathers house; so shall the king greatly desire your beauty, for he is your Lord; and you must worship him. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall entreat your favor.

U The kings daughter is all glorious within; her clothing is embroidered with gold. She shall be brought to the king in garments of many colors. The virgins her companions that follow her shall also be brought to you. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought; they shall enter into the kings palace. Instead of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth. I will make your Name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise you forever and ever.

C Chapter 2.2: Jehovah has set his King on his holy hill of Zion (Psalm 2)

U Introduction

U Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

C The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against Jehovah, and against his Christ, saying, Let us break their bands apart, and cast their cords away from us.

C He that sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision.

C Body

U Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his extreme displeasure, saying: Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Zion.

C I will declare the decree.

C Jehovah has said to me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.

O Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

O You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall smash them in pieces like a potters vessel.

C Conclusion

C Now therefore be wise, O you kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth: serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

C Kiss the Son of God, lest he is angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.

U Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

C Chapter 2.3: Jehovah has set a crown of pure gold on the King (Psalm 21)

U Introduction

U The King shall joy in your strength, O Jehovah; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

C You have given him his hearts desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips (Selah):

C for you met him with the blessings of goodness; you set a crown of pure gold on his head.

C Body

U He asked life of you; and you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

C His glory is great in your salvation.

C Honor and majesty have you laid upon him: for you have made him most blessed forever.

O You have made him exceedingly glad with your countenance: for the King trusts in Jehovah; and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

O Your hand shall find out all your enemies; your right hand shall find out those that hate you. You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger. Jehovah shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

C Conclusion

C You shall destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men: for they intended evil against you; they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

C Therefore shall you make them turn their back, when you shall make ready your arrows upon your strings against their faces.

U Be exalted, O Jehovah, in your own strength; so will we sing and praise your power.

O Chapter 2.4: The Lord Jesus Christ shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath (Psalm 110)

U Jehovah said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

C Jehovah shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies.

C Your people shall be willing in the day of your power. In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning; you have the dew of your youth.

O Jehovah has sworn, and will not repent: You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

O The Lord at your right hand shall strike through kings in the Day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen; he shall fill the places with dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore shall he lift up the head.

O Chapter 2.5: All nations shall serve the Lord Jesus Christ in the Millennial Kingdom (Psalm 72)

O Give the king your Judgments, O God, and your righteousness to the kings Son. He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. He shall judge the poor of the people; he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. They shall fear you as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

O In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace as long as the moon endures. He shall also have dominion from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Moreover, all kings shall fall down before him; all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him that has no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence; and their blood shall be precious in his sight. And he shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made through him continually; and daily shall he be praised. There shall be a handful of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit of it shall shake like Lebanon; and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth. His Name shall endure forever; his Name shall be continued as long as the sun; and all mankind shall be blessed in him; all nations shall call him blessed.

C Blessed is Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things.

C And blessed be his glorious Name forever; and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and amen.

U The prayers of David the son of Jesse are finished.
